With the change, two of Nurse's common add ons will become her Ultra Rares. This really throws off the richness of her add ons. Amongst her add ons, there are a number of characters with lore built up. Common and Uncommons are trinkets which belong to patients and staff of the hospital. Rares are different types of breath collected by the Nurse. Very Rares are last breaths. Now her Ultra Rares0 comments 11 views last activity

The bloodweb rework has been out for a while now, and the issues that were obvious on day 1 of the PTB are still present and frustrating as ever. As most people know, level 40-49 have 3 perks, with up to 2 possible to obtain, and level 50 webs have 4 perks with 2 obtainable. The issues arise because the Entity's behaviour on the web has not been altered to suit this change: Taking any perk5 comments 21 views last activity

About 3 months ago I made this ( https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/78676/poised-is-the-wrong-value-on-the-shrine#latest ) thread, that Poised was worth 2000 shards despite it being the first time it showed up. Since then there have been NO 2700 shard perks on the shrine. We have seen many DLC perks showing up for the first time, including Discordance this week. None of them have bee11 comments 261 views last activity

Is anyone else feeling the same as I am right now? We just have way too many completely random currencies, values, and terms thrown around that nothing feels intuitive any more. For actions in a game you get bloodpoints. For duration of a match you get XP. For gaining XP you have a player level. For player levels you get Iridescent Shards. Iridescent Shards are only usable in the store but Auric6 comments 131 views last activity

While the power and perks do not contain any significant spoilers, the lore of the characters dips into it, and the add ons definitely reveal significant plot details. So far the only news we've had about Legion is that one track of their add ons is going to be looked at. Their power, since the massive overwhelming nerfs they received, is mass of drawbacks, downsides and limitations that to me, leaves them feeling like their own power is more of a hinderance than a help. So my question is this: Do you feel that Legion can be "fixed" with tweaks to add ons?29 comments 251 views last activity

The Dying Light rework is not just bad, it’s unhealthy for the game. This rework has certainly been substantial, however with the amount of conditions, drawbacks, and frankly tiny numbers placed on this perk, it remains an undesirable perk. At tier 3, Dying Light grants a stackable 3% slow to repair, healing and saboutage for each time a non-obsession is hooked. This bonus is lost if the obsess1 comments 291 views last activity

5 shreds is enough, and much more on par with every other killer's dailies (excluding Ghostface's gymnastics routine of a daily.) 5 maximum charge shreds is unnecessarily specific. Shred is useful at different ranges, and needing to leap maximum range, let alone assuming the survivor won't easily dodge makes for a very easily thrown match just trying to go for what should be a straightforward ta1 comments 91 views last activity

We all know Trapper, he's the poster boy of the game! And yet his power and most of its interactions still feel like remnants of a completely different game. He doesn't fit with the pace of the game, he has clunky setup mechanics that take longer than any other killer, and he has a pile of built in counterplays to his power that are completely unnecessary. Moving past most of that, which has bee2 comments 11 views last activity

Plague is an interesting killer with a very unique power. However, as most people know, one of the best ways of dealing with Plague is to stay broken by her "vile purge," denying her the stronger "corrupt purge." Bloodpoints As this is the case, many issues arise in the bloodpoint and emblem scoring because it isn't designed for a killer playing around survivors who go down in one hit all ga0 comments 31 views last activity

Since we're moving onto dedicated servers soon, would there be a possibility of a match history? Basically just load up the endgame scoreboard and compare performances. Even more than that, there may be the potential for match replays.0 comments 21 views last activity

Yes, even worse than Iridescent Heads. At least a survivor against Huntress has a chance to dodge 3 hatchets. Prayer Beads lacks any realistic form of counterplay besides crossing your fingers and hoping. A survivor can be grabbed and hook instantly in a match without any chance to see it's the Spirit. Any other quick down is AT LEAST telegraphed by chainsaw noises or Nurse's blink sounds, but26 comments 211 views last activity

**Very minor, nonspecific spoilers for Stranger Things ahead, as should be clear from a post discussing the lore of a character from it.** I'm not a fan of Stranger Things, but I forced myself to sit through it about a month ago when it was glaringly obvious this was the next chapter. However, with the full announcement of the Demogorgon's power today, putting aside my dislike of the series, th71 comments 3,871 views last activity

Like direct line of sight, sure, but why can't I see auras of my traps? It seems like a really basic piece of functionality, yet other than having someone step on them I'm completely reliant on memory as to where they are. Just had a game of Lery's and it was as much of a surprise to me as the survivors when there was a trap around the corner.5 comments 71 views last activity

Most other maps with obscenely abusive main buildings have conditional windows, ie. if window A is open, window B will be shut and vice versa. Wretched Shop somehow avoided that patch, and is still one of the most utterly abusive buildings in the game, with 2 windows open every single time, and at least 2 safe pallets around the outside loop. Please, fix this building, it's brainlessly easy to0 comments 11 views last activity

Probably one for the devs more than anyone, as it would be hard to tell unless you kept count from the start. If a player is connected for a significant amount of time and DCs in the match, is it considered a sacrifice for the 25 required to unlock a cosmetic face?6 comments 111 views last activity

All this talk about "loop money" and nonsense. We were promised "Less long safe loops, and more small, mindgameable loops." Well where did that go between then and what we got? Because what we got was 50 pallets each with 10 meters of knee-high debris on both sides. Completely safe, impossible to mind game properly when the survivor has line of sight of you constantly, and 5 meters away from at6 comments 81 views last activity

Maybe not permanently, perhaps put it on a timer for their remaining bleed out timer. (ie, a survivor who gets downed instantly DCs saying "go get hatch" would cause the hatch to remain shut for 4 minutes.) DCing should not be a tactical play for SWF to give each other the hatch. This shouldn't have any impact on good, decent survivor players, just the scum that literally cheats to help each oth49 comments 862 views last activity

It's incredibly underwhelming. Sleeping means you're in Freddy's realm, you're meant to be scared, and you SHOULD feel that waking up is your most important goal. Instead there are now 8 mediocre traps on the map, and Freddy has a 20 second cooldown blink with way too much warning that he's coming. Wowee. If this is what actually ships, Freddy is still going to be incredibly mediocre, and yet a56 comments 961 views last activity

On PC, obviously. It's year 4 of Dead by Daylight, and content keeps on coming. It's a great thing. I've recently gotten a few friends into the game, and overwhelmingly they all agree that there's far too much content locked behind DLC, or excessively long grinds. Starting on PC, you only have 7/17 survivors, and 5/16 killers. It's a VAST majority of the character selection saying "thanks for b11 comments 181 views last activity

By now anyone that knows they exist knows they take 25 sacrifices of each original survivor to unlock. There's no big secret about them to hide. It'd be nice to see 5/25 on them or something so I could know what I'm working towards. As it is all I know is that I've dealt with 2 Jakes, a Dwight and 2 Megs in the past few hours, but I have no idea how many that is total. It isn't fun to not know,0 comments 21 views last activity

Just add tier 1 of each of the killer's default perks. Perks are as much a reason to buy as the killers themselves, it would make the try-before-you-buy offerings much better by allowing newer players to test out how perks like BBQ, Make Your Choice, and Blood Warden can affect a match.1 comments 41 views last activity

Gonna preface this by saying, no, buffing "killer instinct" add ons is not a buff, that's a kick in the teeth following a nerf. Oh hey, we just made life harder for you but hey, the add ons that only have an impact when your power is repeatedly failing are slightly better! 1. Base time to mark a target is too long. One of the nerfs he's receiving is to his marking time add ons because they st8 comments 131 views last activity

They don't need to be separate effects at all. Haemmorhage is NEVER strong enough to be worth bringing separately to Mangled. This would also free up add on slots on most killers by removing their 100% pointless Haemorrhage status effects.1 comments 32 views last activity

With Legion, the biggest issue that we saw, and probably the most vocal feedback was that there was no counterplay to his power. When he decided to chase you, you were put on a timer and going to go down. His power made hits trivial and his add ons made downs laughably fast. Since Legion, the design of killer powers has taken a serious turn for the worse. Both the Plague and Ghost face have bee87 comments 1,733 views last activity

So by now we all know that Mettle of Man is extremely problematic as a perk. (But muh free hits!) It punishes killers HARD for just playing the game and has no counterplay besides giving up on playing half the killer cast permanently. It primarily hurts M1 killers, while already high tier killers with power-based attacks, or high mobility, either never trigger it or barely care when it goes of1 comments 12 views last activity

What is the Issue? So Remember Me is a very contentious issue with the patch on the PTB. For those who don't know, Remember Me pre-patch can gain up to 6 tokens, adding 30 seconds to the exit gates. On the PTB, however, it can now only gain a maximum of 4 stacks, adding 16 seconds to the exit gates. The mentality behind these changes has been made clear by the devs both in forum discussions2 comments 22 views last activity

First and foremost, I kind of do understand the changes to Pig that are going through at the moment. When the game moves to a 2 minute timer where failure to leave means death, a mechanic which is meant to occupy you for up to 2:30 where failure to remove it ALSO means death becomes a little bit unfair. THAT SAID, Pig is basically agreed upon as lying somewhere in the low mid tier. She is an15 comments 152 views last activity

With the announcement of Dedicated Servers, the devs have once again shown that they don't know there's a Southern hemisphere on Earth, and the closest option we have for a server will be Singapore. Before you skim this and assume 'salty killer main,' I really do believe this perk is bad for both sides. Why is it bad for killer? Pretty obvious right? It's what everyone's complained about with the perk. 1. There is no counterplay. A fundamental part of the game, many perks have some built in way to play around them. The stronger a perk, the more blatantly they can be avoided. Stronger9 comments 662 views last activity

Many people consider Pig to be one of the most balanced killers. By this I mean that facing her isn’t like going against Nurse, Spirit or Billy, where the power is incredibly strong and learning it well often means escape hardly comes down to survivor abilities, but her power (mostly) isn’t considered a hindrance or severely situational like Freddy, Legion or Leatherface. However, I still believe13 comments 233 views last activity

In the devstream it was said that nobody seemed to notice Susie's mask was meant to be enamel held together by braces, like teeth. I feel it'd be a lot clearer if, instead of the Y-shaped cracks in the mask, we got one that would have the top half of the mask with eye holes, (possibly with braces) and then a smile shaped gap between the bottom half held on by a zigzagging smile of braces. The achievement 'taking one for the team' is absolutely atrocious. In order to get it I have to pull allies off the hook in incredibly unsafe circumstances, and often the killers choose to tunnel, even through Borrowed Time. I'm tired of worrying that I can constantly be reported for farming allies off hook, or working with the killer. Let me preface this by saying I'm at 152/250 for the achievement, and I have been solidly grinding it for about 3 months now. This is, without a doubt, the worst achievement I have ever had to grind for in a game for a number of reasons. For those who don't know, the achievement is "Take a hit near a hook in order to protect another survivor 250 times." It isn't as simple as that however, a2 comments 91 views last activity
