I've seen many reports of this issue on the forums as of the most recent patch. But I thought I would give a comprehensive explanation of what triggers the bug and what fixes it in game. Step 1 : Equip DS Step 2 : When you are first unhooked by a Survivor (or unhook yourself) any action you perform or is performed on you will trigger the bug to be primed. Step 3: Hit the DS skill check suc0 comments 51 views last activity

Survivors: Jane - 'Pool-Side Mami' outfit A swimsuit. Enough said...(I'm a Jane main if that wasn't obvious) Jeff - 'Dad Bod' outfit In tracksuit bottoms and an unbuttoned shirt with his gut hanging out. C'mon, who doesn't love a good dad bod? The Good Guy: Hidey-Ho cooldown decreased by 6 seconds. (From 18 to 12) Very good change, with him being a 4.4m/s, 1v1 specialist with no map presence, this is great. Being able to frequently attempt Slice & Dice is definitely gonna help him attempt to maintain momentum whenever he gets a down. Can only Scamper during Slice & Dice. As it is, this is not good. So, what exactly is going on with this? From the Killer's perspective they are running into a wall or on the spot, and then the vault animation happens where they are, but then teleport to the nearest vault location and are on the other side of the window, accompanied by the noise. Is this a visual desync caused by the UE5 upgrade? Or is it an exploit that the Survivors know how to trigger. Coz0 comments 61 views last activity

The Killer's presence no longer disturb Crows. Loud noises caused by the Killer still disturb them (eg Deathslinger's Redeemer shot and Doctor's Static Blast) but the Crows return in 4 seconds. Survivors can no longer attempt to self-unhook after the EGC is activated. While injured, Survivors no longer receive the Great skill check bonus when performing the repair action. I'm curious to hear what people think about the potential that exists in a lot of maps to prevent the Killer from hooking anyone through the use of perks and comms. This used to be a play style that Survivors in a SWF could abuse on any map, prior to the sabotage nerfs. Where they would equip No Mither, and 99 every hook so if the killer does pick them up, they can swoop in and drop it. This pla27 comments 562 views last activity

The Knight has been absolutely gutted. A once excitingly unique power has undergone heavy nerfs to the point where their power is a joke and ultimately a hindrance to the player. This is how The Knight's power currently works, for those who aren't too familiar: Has access to 3 Guards that cycle through the list after one has been deployed. -- Carnifax; performs Orders in the shortest amount18 comments 854 views last activity

Tru3 had a great idea about Killers having a small window, when performing an action, to cancel it. I'm gonna flesh it out and paraphrase it. So, imagine locker searching, pick-ups, pallet breaks, and wall breaks have a similar progress bar as damaging a generator. After about 0.5 - 0.75 seconds of the animation beginning you can no longer cancel the action and you commit to it. (Note: if this29 comments 513 views last activity

I've loved Ghost Face ever since his introduction to the game. Ghost Face is a very cleverly designed Killer in his current state. A stealth Killer that Survivors are encouraged to go looking for if they want to avoid being Exposed and made vulnerable. Unfortunately, Ghost Face is made incredibly weak by this interaction, and his add-ons offer very little in boosting his strength or allowing for11 comments 202 views last activity

You notice this if you're a PWYF gamer. Sometimes it takes almost 10 seconds of not having LOS on a Survivor to lose chase and gain a token. Other times you can lose chase while rotating a slightly large rock. It's very bizarre. It makes playing for PWYF strats very awkward.4 comments 41 views last activity

Why did you make it aura related? You could have just nerfed the cooldown and seen what happened to it's pick rate. Now all you've done is make it a more consistent version of Darkness Revealed. You made a niche perk pointless with this gutting of an actually good perk. Does it even still apply Blindness? And how long is the aura duration? None of this was mentioned in the patch notes. Just as I suspected they would when I saw Wicked announced, Survivors are abusing it's potential. Good Survivors that know they've run their course in a chase and are gonna go down soon, will run straight into the basement and hop into the back locker or just crouch in the corner of the back wall. This forces the Killer to grab them out of it and hook them down there or slug them. Either choice4 comments 91 views last activity

So, while I was giving feedback on the RPD maps, I thought to myself a way that they can make each variation less of a hassle to contend with as Killer. East side: (Fire Escape side) Seal the entrances to the Library. One big problem on this side is that when a Survivor loops on the West side, they have access to two god pallets in the "Welcome Leon" room and the Armoury. Number value tweaks are nice to improve current gameplay, but Doctor definitely needs a more drastic change. His Hallucinations aren't deceptive to anyone who goes against him more than 3 times. And his anti-loop and 4v1 only work vs inefficient teams. Saying that, however, Static Blast and Shock Therapy are staying the same, these are cool powers to play with. The things I will be changing are M0 comments 31 views last activity

The Pig Ambush: - Increased Ambush duration to 2.3 seconds from 2. - Decreased Ambush hit cooldown to 2.7 seconds from 3. - Decreased Ambush miss cooldown to 1.5 seconds from 2. These number tweaks are a good start. For me, The Pig's fun comes from her Ambush attack. Making it so you have more of a window to get the hit and less punishment for attempting the Ambush is a good direction. Ho0 comments 21 views last activity

So, the idea behind these changes, and potential future posts is to tweak perks in order to increase the pick rate, provide utility in game, or bring them in line with other similar perks etc. These posts will always look at one Killer and one Survivor perk. On PS4. Whatever my Loadout was before the chapter update is always what my character Loadout gets reverted to whenever I close the game and reload it. Nothing that would normally trigger an auto save does so anymore (Backing out to the menu, opening the store, opening the Archives etc) It's so frustrating, having to reequip a build that I wanna use on a character every single time. I have no idea where all these Survivors are that are scared to do anything during the dark. All my matches have been against people who play the exact same, except this event makes misdirection insanely stronger. If they're healthy, one 'blink and you miss it' moment leads to them disappearing, making your entire chase time redundant. Meanwhile gens fly by. Also why the hell do Killers still h3 comments 71 views last activity

The current player experience can be awful with the amount of suiciding on hook that happens. Whether that's players not liking the Killer they're up against, not liking their teammates, or just having to go do something IRL; it can make for a boring time, and make a match potentially unwinnable. Now, I do think that you should still be able to attempt a self-unhook with the aid of Perks such as0 comments 31 views last activity

Atm when Wesker uses his power to grab a Survivor who is on an elevation (a hill, a main building without a railing) and reaches the edge, the Survivor is dropped sustaining no damage but becomes infected if they weren't already. This looks ridiculous on top of having it so Wesker gets nothing out of that power hit and has wasted time. So, this has been an issue with the game for what has probably been years now. For anyone who wants to experience just how terrible generator audio is from the Killer's perspective, load into a custom lobby and have your friend work on the Badham bungalow generator until it's 99% complete (the loudest a generator can be) and slowly get closer to the stairs of the building. Personally I love the idea of bringing the "One Dangerous Zombie" from the Resident Evil 1 HD Remaster into DBD. So here is how I would go about it: 'Shattered Stars Badge' - Removes both zombies from the Trial grounds and replaces them with one zombified Forest Speyer (aka Bomb Zombie). - The Bomb Zombie will never stop tracking the Obsession. - The Bomb Zombie's movement speed is 3.0m/s. This has been something that has been argued back and fourth before. But since there are supposedly lots of brand new features in the works (game modes), I think it's also time for the Killer to be able to see who is a SWF in their lobby as they're loading in. I'm not one of these people that hates versing SWFs, but there are times where knowing that they are together will make me want to play i3 comments 61 views last activity

This is the second or third time that I have been forced to DC from a match because every time in those matches I would charge and then use my purge, only for the screen to freeze until the power was finished. This would result in me having zero clue as to where the survivor went and me losing big distance in the tile or losing the survivor completely. Let alone it guaranteeing that I miss the pu1 comments 21 views last activity

Devs, please make an option to turn off the current chapter's trailer when first loading into the game. It's awesome to see when the chapter is initially dropped, but it gets old very quickly when seeing it pop up every time I play DBD. Especially on older gen platforms, the load in time is excruciatingly long on its own, let alone having an extra thing to push X to skip past. It's just a niggli2 comments 421 views last activity

A while back they improved console/pad gameplay by increasing the cap on how high their sensitivity can go. This could be needed again. There's too much disparity between Killer characters on PC that can utilise high turn rate to get "impossible" hits. Increasing console/pad sensitivity once again by a further 100% would bridge that gap. It would also decrease the likelihood hood of those bizarre0 comments 11 views last activity

So, this one is a little out there and would require a collaboration no one would ever think would happen. A WWE character as a new Killer in DBD. That character being, The Fiend. Now, my main reason for coming up with this chapter is that Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) was my favourite superstar in the bizarre world of Professional Wrestling. To put it plainly, the current Trickster is the strongest he has ever been, but he is also the most boring, both as and vs that he has ever been. Now, as someone who loves...loved this character, here is what I would personally do to make him strong, fun to play as and vs, while also having potential for flexing by players that are good at playing him. 4.6m/s 16m Terror Radius w/24m Lullaby10 comments 191 views last activity

A good addition would be to be able to see how many players are currently on a particular role. This would make queuing much more simpler. I'll click on a role I fancy playing as either what I'm in the mood for or Tome challenges need cranking out, and sometimes queues are oddly lengthy. Ignoring days of the week context, this happens at times when you'd logically assume the most people are actua0 comments 11 views last activity

Everyone has their opinions on new Onryõ, whether it's a love of the 'new' playstyle she has (I would call it a 'needed refreshment') or a loathing of it. "She's OP" or "she is still just a weak chase M1 killer with a unique kit and playstyle." I personally think she is in a state where her chase has been nerfed but her Condemned has been buffed. In that regard, I feel she only really needs one f10 comments 91 views last activity
