My nephew started playing this game not too long ago. I was watching him play a match yesterday against a Myers. Within 10 seconds of the match starting exposed kicked in. It was basically never off after that. Every time it went off it immediately came back on. I don't recall ever seeing that before. Especially a rank 18 killer. The match lasted almost 20 minutes. I assume there is some sort of algorithm that determines map generation when there are no offerings played. I'm curious if there is something built in to that algorithm that makes certain maps much more likely for a time and then switches. I went 3 or 4 months without hardly ever seeing backwater swamp or Lery's. The past week if a map offering isn't played I am seeing one of those 2 in over half0 comments 21 views last activity

Just played my first match against the new killer. It seems solid objects are no longer a barrier to being hit. Not only that but there was no discernible warning when he's getting ready to swing. Intentionally run a killer towards other survivors hoping to take the heat off yourself, Or ignore another survivor that needs to be healed when you can see the killer is nowhere close I have a question. Do you actually get upset when the person you screwed over won't take a risk to heal or unhook you during EGC? Just finished a match where I dropped a pallet on a killer twice. I know it registered because I got my "Killer Stun +1000" both times. Yet the killer never even experienced a moment of stun on either occasion. I am a survivor main so maybe there is something I am unaware of, but I don't recall ever seeing this happen before. I introduced my nephew to this game and he is enjoying it. He tends to be the last survivor standing in just about every match he plays unless more than one person escapes. He is asking me what perks and such he should be going after that will benefit him as the last one standing. Killer takes me down. As soon as he takes me down my camera perspective changes. It is following the killer around. I still hear what is happening with my character. I heard her moaning and was even able to hear it when someone came and healed me. But on my screen I was following the killer. One of the things that I simply don't understand is why so many survivors (even red ranks) knowingly perform unsafe hook removals while the killer is standing in plain sight. It's even more confusing when it happens almost immediately after someone has been hooked. I can sit and play fortnite or titanfall on my PS4 for hours and never once experience a drop or lag. I can stream 4k movies and never buffer. However, when I play DBD I get disconnections at least once or twice every day or two. Plus I will get frequent lag. Just finished a match where the killer slugged the last 2 survivors. Didn't attempt to hang either. Just left us both there until we died. It wasn't that he couldn't find us either. He was right there with us. I realize there are killers that utilize slugging as a strategy. I never had issues with lag or being kicked out of a game before the PS4 dedicated servers were put into place. I started getting them fairly frequently after that. Now that there are significantly more people at home at all times this has gotten significantly worse. The thing is I use Sling streaming service for my TV viewing and I still get a clear HD picture without any buffering. I just pla1 comments 131 views last activity

I had 2 times the other day where I walked up to a trap, got the indicator I could disarm it, pressed the button, and instead of disarming the trap activated on me.
