After not playing DBD for 3 years because of terrible solo Q balance I decided to give it another try. Five games as a solo survivor, four 4k games, only ONE survivor escaped in total. Most of the games ended with 0-2 gens done. It always used to be like this for solo. The game is still broken for solo Q. That's not fun, more like masochism. See you in 3 years. Maybe.23 comments 501 views last activity

I like that perk, finally it is becoming more useful. Also hatch changes look promising.0 comments 1 views last activity

Seriously, when there were no indoor maps, it was fun and refreshing to get 1-2 indoor maps, but now we have too many already and you are pumping them out like crazy. They are boring as ######### for most players, killers and survivors. I made a poll in the poll subforum and only 25% like indoor maps. I only play 2-3 games a day and when I get 2 indoor maps in a row I sometimes DC and I NEVER14 comments 141 views last activity

We are not talking about cases when survivors can hide forever, we are talking about stressing out the horror genre of DBD, to make it a little more horror/stealth oriented instead of being almost solely action/chase oriented as it is the case now.10 comments 141 views last activity

I read this foolish argument from killer mains again and again on this forum. They try to justify the broken solo vs Killer balance, which is in favor of killers now. Their logic is childish, they are afraid of DEVs boffung soloQ and that they will have less 4k games, so they say it's not a matter of balance, survivors are just bad blah blah. By that logic all solo players are bad, killers are m44 comments 681 views last activity

Wouldn't it be cool to reverse things? The game is starting and survivors are rushing to repair gens and only after some time they find out that it's THAT killer. Maybe make him become more powerful with each repaired gen, until some condition is met (until something is found and destroyed on the map for example). This way, when starting the game survivors are never sure if they should genrush o2 comments 21 views last activity

It's always the same: a teammate runs at you, leading the killer to you, gets hit, Legion x-ray locks on you, he's faster than you, there's almost 0% to run away, you get hit, mend+heal for 2 mins, get hit again, rinse and repeat. Distortion doesn't work against Feral Frenzy, lockers don't block this x-ray wallhack too. That's the most annoying killer power in the game.40 comments 651 views last activity

I was curious what my personal solo escape rate is, so I automated tracking of game results, just out of curiosity I was also tracking escape rates of other survivors and average BP, here are the results of 42 games so far. Solo survivors escape rate is under 30%, as expected (Europe region, PC, purple-red ranks). What is strange is that my escape rate is much higher, but my average BP is almo8 comments 361 views last activity

So, people who don't like what stats show us start threats and tell us to shut up about stats, but they don't say anything about personal biased opinions. Looks like expressing subjective opinions is ok, but countering them with facts is not? So, when someone tells me that X is OP or weak but stats clearly show the opposite I should shut up, because it doesn't fit someone's picture of the world?22 comments 392 views last activity

If we could see our personal escape/kill rates as survivors/killers in the game, that would put an end to many threads questioning the accuracy of the released stats and would make balancing the game easier, because the players would accept balance changes much easier than now. It's not really such a difficult feature to implement.15 comments 342 views last activity

I posted this on Steam, I'll post it here too, because I hope DEVs will read it. https://steamcommunity.com/app/381210/discussions/0/1607148447812100915/ I answered all questions there. DISCLAIMER : this post is not about survivors or killers being OP. This post is about huge balance gaps in the game between Solo-SWF, between certain killers (e.g. Wraith-Nurse) and between survivor-killer on1 comments 11 views last activity

A weekly reminder. Solo gameplay sucks, 8 out of 10 games is 4k. Don't pretend there is no problem with solo, fix it.3 comments 11 views last activity

Why don't we make a solo-survivor-only event for a day and disallow SWF for that event? Since it's only one day, it wouldn't hurt the game (offer BP bonus to make SWF players still play during the event for example), maybe even the opposite will be the case, since it will be refreshing for some permanent SWF players to be forced to play solo. If it will be successful, it can be repeated. Or, all1 comments 21 views last activity

I like what the DEVs plan to do to the base power. No more blink-spamming until you down someone, it adds more strategy to playing and countering the Nurse. It took two years, but better later than never. A long needed change.4 comments 41 views last activity

Solo is unplayable. It's constant dying with 1-2 gens done, for the whole team. I equipped Left Behind but I don't even get to use it. It's damn frustrating. DEVs fix your game already. Do you expect people to continue playing while losing 90% of their games because of poor game balance? And before some killer main will reply with the usual "but I pip most of my solo games", it's not about pippi3 comments 41 views last activity

Killers just close the hatch then body-block the exit gate switch and don't let you open the gate. They follow you without hitting you and wait until the timer runs out. It happens frequently, because it's much easier for a killer to find the hatch, usually it is found by the killer even before the hatch is open, because the killer has more mobility. DEVs, this is not intended as trolling or complain. I do think these DONTS can help you to design more balanced killer powers. Please print out this list and put it on the wall, then you will not have to overhaul killers in the future like Freddy and Legion. Killer abilities should NOT : Have wallhacks of any kind - e.g. Freddy, Legion, Doc - it breaks survivor stealth, is very annoying fo23 comments 352 views last activity

...I would have smacked on the head the DEV that came up with the "Aura reading abilities" for killers the moment before that idea visited his head and hope that it will never exist in the future of DBD.11 comments 72 views last activity

Wigglig is the most useless feature of the game. I haven't wiggled out for more than a month and I play survivor every day. Hooks are everywhere. It takes too much time to wiggle out. Sabo got nerfed to the ground and is absolutely useless. Most of the times when you are downed, the killer has to make literally 2 steps to hook you. Unless you play in a 4 man SWF and every survivor take a hit a10 comments 192 views last activity

4k, 3k, 4k, 3k. 0 gens fixed, 1 gen fixed, 0 gens fixed. Killer mains: we still pip most of the games as survivors! DEVs: we did a pretty good job so far, need to nerf survivors even more!4 comments 102 views last activity

I was bored playing survivor and played about 15 games with Commodious Toolbox (180 charges) + Hacksaw addon + Wire Spool Addon for additional 30 charges. I was destroying all hooks I could find in the first 80% of the game as fast as possible. The result: there was NOT A SINGLE time when the killer couldn't hook a survivor. When I destroyed a hook near the killer, he just has to step 3 steps in5 comments 273 views last activity

DEVs, you just spit in the face of solo survivors who bought your game. The game is absolutely UNPLAYABLE for those who play to escape! You are completely ignoring big part of your community, which is a big mistake, keeping people frustrated will not work forever. This problem should be your first priority instead of nerfing survivors even more. The average survivor escape rate is 35-40%, it's46 comments 2,402 views last activity

Besides camping and tunneling this proposal also partly solves self-care being too viable, "gen-rush" and trying to unhook yourself while the killer is standing near the hook to down you again if you succeed. Disclaimer: anything I propose in this post is not supposed to make survivors or killers stronger. Aura reading is ruining this stealth game. No matter how good you are at hiding, killer will find you without any tracking effort from his side. This is just annoying. I was so tired of BBQ, so I equipped Distortion. But the Doctor can still see my aura when I scream, so I equipped Calm Spirit additionally. But the Legion can still see me after he hits someone with his special abilities, no ma15 comments 871 views last activity

All I do when playing solo is die die die and die. And not just me, about 85%-90% of all games are 4k. This is ridiculous and annoying. And looks like the DEVs don't care. I used to enjoy this game.8 comments 611 views last activity

DEVs, please forget the idea of aura-reading perks for killers. It's a cheap idea. There are much better options for game balancing and fun for both sides. You've done a great job with scratchmarks, they don't show directly where a survivor is, they just give HINTS, they require some skill. Aura-reading perks on the other hand and way too precise, they kill the atmosphere of the game and steal7 comments 131 views last activity
