Remove wiggling. It has become the most useless feature of the game.

Wigglig is the most useless feature of the game.

I haven't wiggled out for more than a month and I play survivor every day. Hooks are everywhere. It takes too much time to wiggle out. Sabo got nerfed to the ground and is absolutely useless.

Most of the times when you are downed, the killer has to make literally 2 steps to hook you. Unless you play in a 4 man SWF and every survivor take a hit and the hook is not too close, you have no chance to wiggle out.

Game balance? We did a pretty good job so far.

  • Ok so they take the feature out then survivors can spend the entire game in the basement. In all seriousness wiggle out isn't supposed to be a get out of jail free mechanic it's just meant to put some pressure on the killer so they can't just walk you around everywhere specifically the basement or some harder to reach hooks. If you are able to wiggle out that's amazing but don't expect it to happen because it won't nor should it.

  • you clearly did not understand the whole purpose of the wiggle feature.

wiggeling is NOT ment to free you from the killer. this is something i hear a lot from survivor players, but it is simply wrong.

wiggeling is ment to restrict the killers movement and ability to select a hook for you and rush to the nearest hook there is in order to not lose you again. as @Petraaahh said, you will end up in the basement every single time you get downed without the wiggle feature. would you want that? i doubt it.

  • Don't wiggle if you think it's useless. Problem solved.

the wiggle is currently a nice feature.

but the only problem is that the killer can Easily hook you. and he have 3 perks to counter wiggle. iron grasp. agitation. mad grit.

they should make the same counters for survivors.

first step is buffing boil over and making it also make you wiggle faster by 12%.(same as iron grasp)

adding a perk that reduces the killer movement speed by 18% (same as agitation)

and a perk (every time a survivor body blocks a hit for you. your wiggle bar will be filled by 20% more) same as mad grit.

note that the hooks are too close at this point. it will still be hard for the killer to hook a survivor even if he's running all these perks.

Wiggling is not supposed to be a guaranteed escape, no matter which perks you're running. Those perks don't need perk counters when you can avoid them altogether by succeeding at things you're supposed to be able to do as a survivor, like winning chases.

  • Bubba likes this.

  • If you are wiggling that means you got downed, which means you deserve to be hooked. Wiggling is only there to make sure killers don't take you to god knows where all around the map, I am sorry that it isn't DS

Wiggle Meter progress should carry over the next time you are picked up and carried but gets setback ×% whenever you get hooked.

This change would make both killers and survivors more mindful of hook proximaty the longer the game progresses

This change could possibly prevent the zeroing in on certain particular survivors.

Wiggling is not supposed to guarantee your escape. That's not its function, so it'll never work like that.

The last one isnt even cold....

  • Not that I necessarily agree with the proposed changes in this thread.

But can everyone here stop it with falsely equivocating "Slightly higher chance of escape" with "Guaranteed escape"

Boil over giving 12% less required wiggle time isn't a guaranteed escape when the bar usually stays below 20% most of the time.

Body blocks filling the bar isn't a free escape/guaranteed when A: They had to body block, that's a payment and a condition, most times a person being carried won't have a body blocker, and B: There are still enough hooks where they could probably still hook anyway in most cases and C: Counter play is to put them down and kill the would be body blocker

Same for the reverse agitation perk ect.

  • .... BOIL OVER IS REALLY GOOD IN THE SPRINGWOOD BASEMENT if there isn't a basement basement there.
