Survivors Hatch incentivizes survivors to hide and do nothing until everyone else dies so they have a chance at hatch - something that is against the rules and can lead to a ban. Why? Because a survivor can do nothing all game and still escape. Killers Hatch incentivizes killers to slug if they want the 4K, because not doing so is strategically stupid - which is typically unfun for49 comments 1,421 views last activity

If a STANDING survivor or killer moves less than 5 or so? meters within 60s or so?, automatically kick them and give them the disconnection penalty as if they disconnected. "But what about [insert reasons]?" Simple. Just code in certain exceptions so the auto-kick function is disabled or ignored in certain situations: Exceptions Survivor: If another Survivor or Killer is within a super small2 comments 81 views last activity

Some people cannot properly play without Shadowborn equipped because the constrictive FOV causes migraines, and are thus forced to permanently give up a perk slot. This isn’t okay, for the same reasons colorblind settings being limited to a perk wouldn’t be. A slider is necessary because too high of FOV can cause the same issue for some people. It doesn’t matter if it gives an advantage. Colorb2 comments 61 views last activity

What it says on the tin. A button to automatically spend ALL Bloodpoints instantly on the selected character. Even with an instant-complete for each individual Bloodweb level, spending millions of Bloodpoints would take forever.2 comments 142 views last activity

The problem: BHVR has repeatedly said hiding and refusing to work on generators is against rules, and can lead to a ban. https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/1006825#Comment_1006825 https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/1497595#Comment_1497595 https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/1259979#Comment_1259979 There still needs0 comments 21 views last activity

Awakened Awareness : 20m range aura reveal while killer is carrying. Used to have a 2s linger on anyone still in the 20m when carrying stops. Let’s say the Survivor starts 0 meters away from the killer who just downed their teammate. They start running away from the killer. Standard Killers Killer standard attack cooldown is 1.8s. Pickup takes 3s. Hooking or dropping takes 1s. Survivo4 comments 161 views last activity

The two problems with hatch: It incentivizes survivors to break the rules by hiding and refusing to work on generators. It incentivizes killers to engage in gameplay that is boring and uninteractive for the slugged third survivor because not doing so is strategically stupid and gives the fourth a better chance of escape. So the goals of this rework is to address both. For survivors, they sho3 comments 41 views last activity

Nurse builds will swap to full slowdown. As a result, Nurse’s kill rates will go up at least slightly, because quadruple slowdown is much easier to succeed with than Exposed, as well as much stronger. As a result, people will complain even more about Nurse when the actual problem is stacking slowdown perks/certain slowdowns being too strong. There will be people who miss Exposed Nurse builds62 comments 1,311 views last activity

Survivors hiding and refusing to work on generators is against the rules because it is refusal to participate in normal gameplay and taking the game hostage, and it can potentially lead to a ban. It doesn't happen often , but when it does, it's a genuine major issue . The only option is to video record evidence and report them after the game ends to hopefully get them banned, but that doesn't60 comments 3,011 views last activity

I would love if she finally got her own custom terror radius and chase music. Her skins and lore and outfit give an old 1900s-vibe, and something fitting in that vein would be amazing. Scratchy and grainy old-style music like what you’d hear phonographs play around that era would be perfect.1 comments 11 views last activity

Hook suiciding is used to DC except without getting the penalty deserved for DCing. If hook suiciding is removed, people will either actually DC, AFK, or sandbag, ruining a game that… would be ruined anyways if they suicided on hook. If people then actually DC, then they get the DC penalty they deserve. If they AFK, they should be kicked and given the DC penalty they deserve. People alrea90 comments 2,512 views last activity

Lethal Pursuer was stated it was intended to work on itself, which would increase the initial aura read from 9 seconds to 11 seconds, but it does not in-game. This occurs with a 100% frequency, and has been bugged for the last several patches. Equip Lethal Pursuer Enter a game and count how long the initial aura reveal lasts. Can also double-verify in a custom game. Distortion will only lose0 comments 41 views last activity

Hatch exists solely to prevent the game from turning into a rule-breaking hiding fest at 1 survivor left. However, in its current form, it is bad for both sides. On the survivors’ side, it still incentivizes breaking the rules by hiding until everyone else dies anyways. Something that can lead to a ban, because it takes the game hostage and is refusal to participate in normal gameplay. On the k4 comments 91 views last activity

Survivors hiding and refusing to repair is against the rules, because it is refusing to participate in normal gameplay and taking the game hostage, and as such, can potentially lead to a ban. It does not matter if it’s a 3-gen or 2 survivors left. The survivors are required to attempt to repair. https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/1006825#Comment_10068252 comments 271 views last activity

It’s a loophole to avoid the DC penalty while achieving the exact same end result: Giving up for an utterly stupid reason (other than hatch). If you queued up, you should be forced to play out the game. Simple as that. If that upsets you, don’t play multiplayer games. The other 4 people in the lobby deserve better than someone selfish who will instantly give up the moment the match goes south. Th31 comments 511 views last activity

There are many forms of sandbagging, but I think the following mechanic will be able to punish those that are spam-dropping pallets or spam-rushed vault/lockering for no reason. Numbers for decay/threshold to kick are placeholders. Every survivor has a unique counter invisible to all players. Dropping a pallet, rushed vaulting, or rushed lockering adds +1 point for that survivor, UNLESS the ki3 comments 41 views last activity

People are not obligated to play a certain way for your sake. They also don’t know how strong of a build you may have. Some people enjoy playing more seriously, others enjoy playing more laidback, both are completely valid. Some people enjoy doing meme builds, other people enjoy playing to win with meta, so on. They are all valid. Criticizing people for playing "sweaty" or "tryharding" or so on25 comments 1,052 views last activity

A loophole to avoid DC timers should not exist. The argument "they’ll sandbag instead and ruin games" doesn’t work when players suiciding on hook or AFKing ruins games anyways. 3v1 before lategame is unwinnable for survivors regardless of sandbag, DC, or AFK. Too obvious of sandbagging risks a ban. Playing enough to be a "bad" player is playing at average solo Q level anyways. If they don’t like2 comments 81 views last activity
