Remove Hook Suiciding/Kick AFK Players

A loophole to avoid DC timers should not exist. The argument "they’ll sandbag instead and ruin games" doesn’t work when players suiciding on hook or AFKing ruins games anyways. 3v1 before lategame is unwinnable for survivors regardless of sandbag, DC, or AFK.

Too obvious of sandbagging risks a ban. Playing enough to be a "bad" player is playing at average solo Q level anyways. If they don’t like not having a way to quit without penalty, they should not play multiplayer games where their selfishness ruins the game for everyone else.

You aren’t obligated to stay if you don’t find it fun. But the game also isn’t obligated to give you a loophole to quit for free and ruin others’ experience. Take the DC penalty you deserve and get out. Don’t like being expected to play out a game you queued up for? Then don’t queue up.

If you sandbag/suicide on hook/AFK because you don’t like how the game is going, YOU are the problem in this game.

  1. Remove ability to self-force second stage.
    1. Examples: Removing ability to attempt self-unhook without Deliverance in return for some other fun compensation elsewhere, removing time penalty on a failed attempt in return for less attempts or lower odds, etc.
  2. Remove ability to self-accelerate death on second stage.
    1. Examples: Removing the skillchecks, making them for Bloodpoints only, etc.
  3. If only 1 other player is standing (everyone else is downed, hooked, or dead), then a Give Up option appears on hook.
  4. Kick AFK survivors/killers and give them the DC penalty.

There are methods to detect macros. And a few general guidelines would also work for non-macro AFK. For example, hasn’t moved more than 1 meter in X seconds. Something that even a single step moves you more than.
