Prevent Survivors from taking the game hostage by hiding and not doing gens

The problem:

BHVR has repeatedly said hiding and refusing to work on generators is against rules, and can lead to a ban. https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/1006825#Comment_1006825 https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/1497595#Comment_1497595 https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/1259979#Comment_1259979

There still needs to be an in-game mechanic to prevent this. Even if rare, it can hold a match hostage for a long time when it does happen. Reporting doesn't help while stuck in said game.

"Use [specific perk/add-on]" is unreasonable. They shouldn't need to run things just in case people break rules. Expecting people to pore over every bit of the map because people broke rules is also unreasonable.

How to solve:

The following is just one potential example of how this could be solved. Numbers are placeholders.

  • Track % time spent repairing, in chase, healing, hooked, etc per interval. Prevents split-second tap and run.
    • Example: Requires 60s of every 120s that go by to be something that counts to pass the "test".
  • If a survivor fails the "test", they are revealed by Killer Instinct until a chase starts or they pass the next "test".
    • Example: They must spend 60s doing something that counts within next 120s to make Killer Instinct end.
