Gonna preface this saying I play both killer and survivor both. Playing a 2 stack against Trapper, partner and I are the last 2 and both on death hook, my partner goes down, I'm running Left Behind, so the plan is hatch. They not only leave my partner down trying to sniff me out, but go back, set a trap, pick my partner up, and internationally step in it so they get free. Look I play both sides, but there is no reason I should have to choose between having to suffer through constant body blocking of hooks, teabagging, and the complete lack of respect and sportsmanship, or compounding disconnect penalties. I don't know if it's enough to call a problem yet, but I've had 2 solo queue matches close together where I had another survivor intentionally try to sell me out, even though I was constantly contributing. First was against Myres, early in the match, another survivor was about to get hooked so I jumped into a locker to cover for BBQ just in case. So I know rank and emblems don't have the impact they used to before the new matchmaking, and while I don't try to play meta or competitively, I still take a small amount of pride in my ranking when I'm doing well. Lately I'm running into a lot of matches where I feel like I played well and got points in every area, and still wind up with mostly Silver and Bronze emblems with 1 Gold or Iri that a0 comments 21 views last activity

I was on a busier than normal shift last night and I caught myself checking myself on an emblem system like the one in game. XD Customer Service, Side Work(Tea Made, Ice Filled, ect.) So this is a dumb question, but I honestly just looked closely at it for the first time in a while. Do add-ons for charges eg. Wire Spool, Gel Dressings, ect. Not stack at all anymore? When I play Solo, I usually run Prove Thyself, Left Behind, Self Care, and either Kindred or Dark Sense as this seems to do me well for being able to contribute to the team effort and keep myself covered if things go south. I scrolled through the article about the Matchmaking Rating and how Rank will no longer be used in matchmaking, but I'm still a little confused on how it's going to be implemented in a practical and mechanical sense. I alternate between Killer and Survivor and was playing the Trapper earlier today. Now, when it comes to EGC, I don't stick around at the Gates. If I can see the Survivors standing in there, I walk away immediately and just look at my phone or something while I wait it out. I'm not giving them the satisfaction. You won, now leave. I got into a match with a rank 8 Leatherface running Insidious. I was the unlucky first to be found and downed. They went out of their way to hook me in the basement, then proceeded to stand still behind the wall and lockers that face the stairs and wait there until someone came to get me, and then instadown them with his chainsaw. I was just playing a round with a group of Survivors and saw where one looked like they had gotten stuck on the hill. I go the lunge attack before I realized it and left him be. I come back a bit later and they is still there, but with a friend next to them healing them. I tried to push the survivor out of lock and went on about my business.
