Survive with friends teams need more style. A good SWF team is hard to beat so you might as well make your team have a theme or meme to negate the negativity of the killers' losses. My first idea was a police themed squad. You could use David Tapp with either cosmetic set followed up with Ace using the tuxedo and Panama hat set. Then for the other survivors just make them David Kings with t1 comments 62 views last activity

After I made a thread a little while ago to understand why so many killer mains shudder when referring to the Howling Grounds event I am genuinely curious if people are preparing for the potential toxicity of the summer event now. I mean, I am leveling up pig A.S.A.P for Hangman's out of event hook paranoia. Is anyone else making preparations?1 comments 72 views last activity

Dead by Daylight is listed as a horror game on the Steam Store. However, few people get scared of killers after their first twenty hours or so. So let's fix this. Got any scary builds? My current spook build is what I like to call Doctor Rage. The Add-ons are Carter's Notes Calm and Class Two Calm. The perks are Monitor and Abuse, Unnerving Presense, Overwhelming Presense, and Coulrophobia,2 comments 71 views last activity

It is a commonly understood idea that the more often you do something, the better you'll be at it. This being said I have a proposal to for the developers that I feel will improve the game's quality of life. Instead of using rank for matchmaking, the matchmaking system should use a player's devotion level. My reasoning for this is as follows. The current matchmaking unit, ranks, can6 comments 51 views last activity

All been seeing over the past few days about the patch is that it's essentially the equivalent to an "evil virus of Satan". What's the big deal folks? If memory serves me right all they did to trigger the sea of backlash was: 1.) Slightly shrink the pick up animation so you can't blind someone while they're stuck in an animation. 2.) Make it so that you no longer recover exhaustion while running,1 comments 41 views last activity

I've seen multiple killers mention peak toxicity during this event and yet when I reflect on my matches during the event I can only recall one such occasion. Can anyone enlighten me on the toxicity that transpired during that event? Why specifically were survivors toxic at this time?19 comments 201 views last activity

From my time stumbling through the fog I have noticed some map details that may prove of use in the trials ahead. Feel free to share any of your discoveries. General - Blinking lights mean a generator is nearby, always. Also read the Steam achievement list for a list of generator locations. Work on these generators when you can't find others as they always spawn in the same place, roughly. The0 comments 41 views last activity

When you see enough survivors wearing the same outfit doing the same thing you start to expect their behaviors to mirror the others. What stereotypes do you have of certain outfits? If you see a Jake in Leather expect them to have saboteur. See "Dead by Jake" on YouTube for explanation.21 comments 561 views last activity

The goal here is for everyone who visits to say one trick they know that helps them in the trial. I will start with one of my favorite tricks. If you don't want to be healed, hold SHIFT. This stops teammates from healing you in the injured and dying states. No longer will you be healed at the wrong time!9 comments 61 views last activity

The name is a work is progress but so far I am calling this perk Omnipotence. Omnipotence would be a tracking perk for killer. The perk would operate on a cool down timer like David Tapp's perk "Stake Out". The idea is that after 1 minute of not being in a chase the auras of (1/2/4) survivors are revealed to you. Now I decided that one minute was a fair cool down time as some of the fastest matche2 comments 21 views last activity

How long does the average game last nowadays? I understand that each trial is different and that there are a number of different variables that affect this so I'm hoping to get a large spread of data values to determine an accurate mean.6 comments 281 views last activity

Here's the basics: The new perk would be called "Echo". This new perk might be a hex perk. The description could be something akin to the following. "Your ears have adapted to the natural sounds of the Entity's realm and you can hear disturbances better." The noises from Survivors (specifically: healing, sabotaging, and repairing.) and their hearing distances are increased by (4/6/8) meters. I'm e3 comments 41 views last activity

Killers and Survivors alike accept and understand that gameplay around looping pallets is primarily encouraged by stunning the killer with pallets as a successfull pallet stun rewards the player with 1000 Bloodpoints. However I must ask, why is that pallet stun so point rewarding? Stunning a killer for a handful of seconds rewards the Survivor with 2x the value of a Hook Sabotage, 4x the value of6 comments 51 views last activity
