  • Seriously, you guys could have added parity between PC and console by making Hag and Doctor's chapters free for the PC playerbase, and yet here you guys go making them as part of a bundle nobody asked for. Talk about disrespecting your playerbase both long-and-short term.

  • These are completely unnecessary and ruin the ability for people to play the game how THEY see fit. If a Killer has the ability to just straight up snipe you from half the map away because it just so happens that there's nothing blocking them and they're high enough, then let them, don't just remove their ability to do that. It's not like it's a dominant strategy, it's just fun. Stop it. Stop re

  • You've read the title correctly. The Obsession mechanic in this game is completely unnecessary at this point in the game and is an active detriment to the core gameplay and design of modern Dead by Daylight. I do not make this claim without my reasons, however, as I'm going to showcase several perks that this mechanic affects in a very negative light. Save the Best for Last, Dying Light and Pl

  • Birds of Torment Birds of Torment, Artist's Power, is a very divisive ability that has caused many frustrations with Survivors and Killers that make Artist one of the more unappealing characters to go against. What I want to suggest is something that makes Artist a lot more interesting to play and go against. New Effect - Ink Trail One of the main points of contention with Artist is how she

  • The current BBQ is quite a mediocre perk in terms of its design and is currently in contention with another perk with similar design to it. This is not good, because there will be a time where this perk may get overshadowed by one that will end up significantly better than it. This is why I want to make a suggestion that makes this perk appealing to run for itself while giving players a new play

  • This is a truly, utterly unacceptable release to a new feature in the game. The fact that despite releasing the new player cards and badges feature in the game, there are currently no earnable badges OR player cards , and the only ones that are in the game right now have to be purchased, just feels like a slap to the face to the general playerbase at large. I think most of the playerbase would

  • I don't even play the Killer but I can tell that this interaction with the perk and power should not be intended whatsoever. It isn't like trying to vault windows when Wraith is cloaked (which itself needs to be toned down), it's actually something that completely negates the Killer's power and forces them to break pallets even when they don't want to or need to. In essence, this is an exploit th

  • I don't need to explain why this is a bug or how to achieve it. Just pick Doctor.

  • Hear me out, devs and art team: Every 10 Prestige levels grants a new Player Card that can be selected for Survivors or Killers. This is universal and you only need to earn it by getting these levels on one character. Upon reaching the 10th Prestige level of any Survivor or Killer, you gain a badge of that Survivor or Killer you played, as a final reward for getting to the first milestone.

  • Trickster's getting an overhaul to his kit. Trickster is the focal point of the new album. Trickster's PTB theme is the choice made for his music in said album. Is it coming back to Live? (Please say yes, it's so much better.)

  • With the recent changes to both The Knight and The Skull Merchant, I think it's time you guys go back to another extremely problematic Killer that is known as "The Artist". Her current kit is an unhealthy blend of anti-looping and forced lose-lose situations for the Survivors due to the fact that she can place her crows down in paths to force Survivors into chaining loops or taking a hit that is

  • Now that we know Third-Person Perspective is possible in the game thanks to good ol' Chucky, I think it's time we talk about the possibility of at least implementing it in Custom Games now. I think that would be a completely fun new experience for players.

  • I'd like to see Nemesis and Executioner get changes to both their base kits and their add-ons in order to keep them relevant in the current state of the game. It'd be nice to have add-ons that actually work well with them and don't feel like you only need to run two specific ones per to play.

  • Artist (In-Game Size: Average) Doctor (In-Game Size: Tall) They're both the same height. How is Artist not considered "Tall"? Also this is taken on the PTB where Doctor's stance is bugged at the moment, but you can see that they're the same height at least.

  • Iridescent Seal of Metatron A talisman with an odd design inscribed on it. The Entity's influence seems to have altered it. Punishment of the Damned now applies Torment upon healthy and injured Survivors. When an injured Survivor afflicted by Torment is hit by Punishment of the Damned, that Survivor will be put into the Dying State regardless of the Endurance status effect. This effect

  • This is an idea that I had when thinking about ways to make Blight significantly less of a must-pick for Killers and less of a pain for Survivors to play against, and it's that I think that Lethal Rush attacks should straight up not be able to break pallets. This would cause one thing to happen that would drastically alter his playstyle and that's removing his ability to anti-loop, thus forcing

  • First off, I just want to say that I'm liking what I'm reading in the update about Trickster. It's a really good direction you want to take him and I'm enjoying a lot of the updates he has. It's wild. But I do have a couple concerns, as a Killer main, regarding some of the aspects of the kit that may need adjustment in the final release: Rapid Fire What I like about the changes is that Trickst

  • The 16 meter range of the current anti-camping measure isn't doing its job as you would hope, especially towards killers who can easily use projectiles or clear that distance to prevent Survivors from attempting to unhook others. The following changes need to be made in order to make this a better mechanic: Range Changes The Wraith now has a range of 24 meters to account for his fast move

  • There's no point in having the "Secret" part to offerings when: Survivors (mostly) will tryhard to get generators done since most of the Killer's secret offerings are Moris and they, for some godforsaken reason, take that as "I'm going to play super seriously" now. It just doesn't make sense for most offerings with it applied to them. Survivors' "secret" offerings are bad and Killers' "secret"

  • Blood Warden When the Exit Gates are powered, hooking a Survivor activates Blood Warden for the next 30/45/60 seconds : If an Exit Gate is currently opened, Blood Warden will prompt The Entity to block the exit. If neither Exit Gate is opened, Blood Warden will reset the progress of both Exit Gates every time a Survivor is hooked. This makes Blood Warden an extremely threatening endgame

  • After seeing the pallet density be significantly reduced in Shattered Square, I think it's about time The Game gets a rework itself and has its pallet density reduced. Maybe even just add loops to areas where they need them instead of sticking a pallet at some choke point every 8 feet.

  • This character is falling into decline with their playstyle now that Xenomorph exists. I think it's time Nemesis gets some love and receives what I believe would be perfectly fine changes: General Changes Buff: Mutation now reduces the recovery time of Tentacle Strike by 0.25 seconds every tier. Buff: Tentacle Strike's hitbox is now more elaborate and accurate to the attack itself, al

  • The game is supposed to be ending when the gates are powered, so it should feel right to assume that all abilities that don't end the game quicker (specifically, Endurance) should be removed. This is the same logic as Decisive Strike; no more free outs for Survivors. They have to earn their out or lose trying.

  • I think Dark Trinkets should stay as a permanent fourth currency for Dead by Daylight, and I think there's a pretty good way to implement them into the game. I suggested earlier how Killers and Survivors should get some reward for P100, which is those Void skins you see in Trials. Well, hear me out on this: For every Prestige you earn, you gain 30 Dark Trinkets . This applies retroactively an

  • As someone who mostly spends time playing Killer, this Perk is absolutely too busted in its current state. Its ability to track Survivors is completely unmatched by other Killer Tracking Perks and its only counter is a Perk that makes Survivors worse in the long run. The game effectively turns into easy mode with this Perk active and depending on the Killer Power or the Perks, you can end up for

  • I think if a Survivor gets slammed by Bound in the Exit Gates, they should suffer a 15 second penalty of Entity Blocker rather than around 5 or so. Just as punishment for not being good enough to get out and to encourage spreading out when being chased at the endgame.
1 comments 21 views last activity
  • This is as the title suggests. The reward for getting P100 should be Void-based Skins like the ones we see in the Event when you enter the Void. The effect is already applied to every character, so this should be relatively easy to implement for the rest of the game.

  • I'm not going to bash the development/balance team for these changes. That's not what I'm here for. What I'm here for is to point out that these changes ( specifically after the Warden's Keys nerf ) are not good for the sole fact that they don't tackle why the add-ons aren't being used in the first place. I want the balancing team to understand why these

  • I'm going to skip what's wrong with the perk (since we all pretty much know it's bad) and simply show what corrective action needs to be done for this perk: {Corrective Action} You quickly analyze problems and correct your own work when a mistake happens. You start the Trial with 1/2/3 Tokens and gain a token each time you succeed at your initial Skill Check, up to a maximum of 3 Tokens .

  • The new BFFs change from 4% to 6% completely misses the mark as to why it's not used whatsoever. The reason it really isn't used is because it only activates during endgame and thus requires you, as the Killer, to actively be losing in order to activate it. This is also only true if you're hitting as many people as possible with Feral Frenzy, which is difficult normally (and only better done with

  • Simple suggestion to improve both the Survivor (and sometimes) Killer experience: Please remove any locker that is currently next to a vault, pallet or other actionable object so that neither the Survivor nor Killer accidentally input a Locker action instead of the other action. The most problematic ones are on Thompson House and Nostromo Wreckage. Especially Thompson House, where the nasty scoo

  • The Nemesis needs an overhaul. There is no doubt in my mind that the current version of Nemesis should be completely changed into something that is more in line with his character and less risk-free from design. The current version of Nemesis is, in a way, an interesting take on him but it ultimately doesn't feel like the Nemesis that the players deserve to play as or against. He is not fast, he

  • The following are changes I think would make for a really good experience in the game and add some flavor: {Maps and Offerings} As of 7.2.0, the Nostromo Wreckage map is part of the Dvarka Deepwood realm, making it the first and only map in the game to have a separate offering to another in the realm. I think going forward, multiple maps should share different offerings but have the same sor

  • Listen I'm all for lowering POV when necessary, but Xenomorph's POV is too low. It makes it too easy to lose Survivors and makes me really just not want to play as the Xenomorph.

  • Since the portrait for Myers got changed in 7.2.0, I think the following Killers need new portraits, either because their current ones look silly or because they're using pre-existing portrait assets, or they're just Trickster's: The Trapper The Doctor The Executioner The Trickster The Cenobite The Onryo The Dredge The Mastermind The Knight The Skull Merchant The Singularity

  • We now have the Xenomorph Queen as a character in this game and she is absolutely massive. Like you are not going to miss this thing from a mile away. Anyway so Nemesis should be his canon size of 10 feet tall just because we're putting giant characters in this game now.

  • Unlike the other beasts of the Fog, you have adapted to the light. After being blinded by a Survivor, Lightborn activates and the following effects apply: Blindness duration is reduced by 50% . Stun duration caused by blinding flashes of light are reduced by 50% . When a Survivor successfully blinds you by any means, their aura is revealed to you for 8/9/10 seconds . Changes in Detai

  • I think it's almost unanimously decided by the community that absolutely, positively, no one likes Skull Merchant's playstyle or Power. No one wants to play against a Killer whose only viable playstyle is to sit around and stall the match out as long as possible, and no one (who goes outside at least) wants to play a character who can do quite literally nothing all game long unless they specific

  • Yeah, okay, I've taken the survey and I've looked at the images and here's my honest opinion about the mock-ups that were made: They're way too clumsily-made and don't present the information as well as they should. The Survey itself doesn't give enough questions to let people give more informed opinions. The only positive thing I would say is the added detail options that would allow people

  • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6IRw-JDk4k This version of the theme doesn't need to go unused at all. This should be the lobby theme for Yun-Jin since it's different enough from Trickster's to work!

  • In the current PTB for the Alien chapter, The Xenomorph is listed as Average height by the game. However, taking a look at the model, the Xenomorph itself is actually one of the tallest Killers in the game, period. (Image provided by PotatoLegion) However, Xenomorph's curious height is not what I'm talking about, so don't put this on the 7.2.0 PTB

  • Cheryl looks extremely out-of-place in DbD. Like, cartoonishly out-of-place with her art style and appearance. She barely even resembles the Cheryl we know from the games. I definitely think she needs a rework to look more like her canonical appearance (see above) and not look like the female version of old Quentin. I'm serious, she looks REALLY unfitti

  • The Endurance status effect is currently being abused to many degrees by the Survivor side who now have just about every type of reason to use it. Considering that the Incapacitated status effect was just removed from Eruption for being impossible to counter and resulted in Survivors being unable to progress the game for a long amount of time, the same should be done to any perk running Enduranc

  • They're quite literally right there in the offerings page in Custom Games, there's no reason not to allow them to be used in Custom Games since they wouldn't affect the main game under any capacity. They'd also give Custom Games more of a reason to be played.

  • It genuinely makes zero sense that we can't use Knight's Lich sword or Wesker's S.T.A.R.S. knife because they're linked to cosmetic sets. Sure, keep something like Nemesis' weapon locked since it'd look silly, but the rest of the weapons in linked sets is just bad for customization.
