Just having it activate on the last three gens you kicked would be a very much better way of doing this perk. You already have no control over if this perk even activates once during a game. With this, at least the last gen would be guaranteed to give you some value.
-
First of, i dont play survivor and i also dont do this, so i am not sure about it.
But i could imagine that a high prestige level also makes you a bigger target for tunneling or face-camping, as it is at least proof of a high playtime and a prestige 100 just looks like a threat to a killer, no matter the rank.

I mean you can focus on the objective and still complete some of these challenges. It just isn’t easy hence why I chose the word situational. How often does a killer get a 4k with all survivors hooked in the basement? It can happen, and it can happen without you solely focusing on making it happen but it would be rare and… situational.
Well you could also do the basement challenge with just a 2k, they dont have to be different survivors.

Well I was just using that as an example because you seem to be claiming that every game is a 4k before anyone can open a gate and you never come across that hatch when the last survivor is alive. I just don't think you are seeing EGC that rarely to make this such a long drawn out challenge to complete.
But let's leave it at that. I can't see your games. I'll just have to agree to disagree.
just a thing before we leave it at this.
you seem to be claiming that every game is a 4k before anyone can open a gate and you never come across that hatch when the last survivor is alive
This is very much true , believe it or not. Either its a 4k before we come across the hatch or the last survivor escapes through the hatch. I see the egc only once every 10 games or so (if i dont force it, of course).
I just don't think you are seeing EGC that rarely to make this such a long drawn out challenge to complete.
And like i said, it would not be hard or even impossible to do and also would not take long, it just would bother me and it would feel very boring and forced to do it.
So i think we can separate agreeingly here.

I think a very small percentage of them are designed not that you have to throw the game per se, but that you have to put too much focus on which greatly reduces your chances of playing the game effectively. Even then I’d say more of them are just too situational rather than making you play badly.
if you are not focusing on the objective, you are "playing bad". Thats just a fact.
Any challenge that can not occur during a "normal" match is just not good. (again, very subjective i think)

Come on, now. You sound like you are just trying to throw anything in an effort to make it stick to prove a point why it's so impossible for you. If the last survivor gives up slug them and look for hatch, close it and then hook them. Unless you are getting 3K every single match before anyone opens the gate and the last survivor is getting hatch, I just don't see how EGC is such a rare occurrence for you to see.
I think there is some miscommunication between us.
Its not that i could not force it, its the point that i have to force it that is bothering me.
It is not natural for me to slug and look around for hatch. Its breaking the game flow for me and also is not a challenge, its just an inconvenience. I have to stop playing, walk away, search for hatch, close it and then go back to hook the survivor. They could just make a challenge for: "let the last survivor bleed out for 20 seconds before hooking him". It would practically be the same outcome as this one.
It does not make the game harder or more challenging, it just gets longer. And thats just dumb in my opinion.
-
@jesterkind said:
I don't think they really add all that many challenges that require you to throw the game, though.
Even the one you're describing is just... take protection hits and escape. Assuming you aren't just blindly running into the killer at all times, taking protection hits can be the opposite of throwing, it's a good thing to learn how and when to do effectively.
People have a bad habit of assuming that if a challenge requires you to play suboptimally (IE, cleanse totems or - more accurately as there are good totem perks - open chests), that automatically means the survivor in question is throwing the game for their challenge, when that's obviously not true on the face of it. That, or they assume that a challenge must be completed in as few attempts as possible instead of being an overall goal, and criticise the challenge on those flawed grounds.
There are a few, though. The Doctor one in this latest page is pretty rough, I think that one qualifies as needing you to throw the game.
you are right, there are definitely not a lot of challenges that force you to do this. But 1 is already to much in my opinion.
Why would you ANY get punished for playing good? it makes no sense.
And yes, taking protection hits can be very good and help the progression but if you dont force it, it will take way to many trials and in the end would just come down to luck. And this is also part of my point.
Challenges that relay on luck are just as dumb as the ones that force you to throw, in my opinion. You have no control over, if a protection hit ever becomes useful during a game.
And a challenge that just boils down to throw a game or play 100 matches and pray it happens, is just not good designed. But maybe its just me thinking this.

Don't forget closing the hatch stats EGC too. Unless every last survivor you encounter escapes through the hatch you should be regularly seeing EGC.
But yes, that is my criticism of the Doc's challenge that you really need to use add-ons.
if i find every last survivor before they find the hatch or i down the last 2 survivors within 20 seconds or the last survivor just gives up and does not run away anymore, closing the hatch is simply not an option.

For the Doctor challenge use Monitor and Abuse, Distressing. For add-ons Iri Queen and the purple calm. Make sure to use your Static Blast while in chase. Worked like a charm. If you want even take a small map offering. That way you don't have to throw a game at all nor avoid survivors. Though you could criticize the requirement of having to use up add-ons.
As for you're other challenge you mentioned you'll get it. Far as I recall I don't believe there is one where you have to hook 4 survivors during EGC in one match.
I've almost done every single Tome challenge. I have about 10 killers ones to go. I have done all the survivors one. I've just never had to thrown to get them. That is a choice.
the hooking for survivors during egc is not for one trial but still annoying
Dont worry i am through my archive since 3 or 4 days (except for 4 killer challenges and every single survivor challenge).
For the Doctor challenge use Monitor and Abuse, Distressing.
i already posted my build in an other post. And i dont have this iri addon sadly.

I did the EGC hooks with some Blood Warden plays. If you don't own the perk or if you want to do it differently, just use the hatch offering, and slug. Tbh I need en a lot of matches too.
The challenge with Doc is pretty simple: either equip both calm addons or use Iri Queen. Then you shock the survivor, down them and walk away from the hook. MYC and Devour are a good combo with this too.
The challenge with Doc is pretty simple: either equip both calm addons or use Iri Queen.
Again, i posted my build above and i dont have this iri addon.
I did the EGC hooks with some Blood Warden plays.
thats exactly my problem. Even for blood warden you have to get to egc with at least 2 survivors still in the game. I rarely even get this far. Like i said, out of 10 games, only one got to egc and only because i let the last survivor run to the gate and open it.
Yes, i could use an endgame build but this would still require me to play bad, only hooking survivors once or twice, until all gens are done and i personally just dont think that this feels good. Why should a challenge force me to use a build that requires you to play worse as normally for half the game?
It just makes no sense to me. But thats just my opinion i guess.

Just a little tip - for doc challenge, double calm and especially dark devotion helped me to do it in a single game. Ofc - that game ended in 4 out. Because running away from obsession for 25s and then blasting ignoring everything usually has that effect :D
thanks, great tip, gonna try this. I never even thought of Dark devotion.
My build was: calm II (+6m) + calm carters (+8m) + Distressing (+8m) + Monitor & abuse (+8m) for a total of 62 meters terror radius
But its exactly what i and OP were talking about, you have actively stay/run away from every survivor and i think even with your build you were really lucky to get it on first game. With my build i had 62 meters of terror radius and still only got up to 3 once in 5 games.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
No, it's players who choose to throw. If people just put the objective first and challenge seconds they wouldn't need to throw. It just means it might take them a few matches to get it done. For example the challenge you listed. I played that way and got it done without the need to throw.
there are challenges that force you to play "bad"
As killer there is a challenge to hook 4 survivors during the endgame collapse.
Out of my 10 last matches i got to the endgame collapse only once. And this was only because i let the survivor open the gate.
So either i am forced to let the survivors do all the gens or i have to play another 30 matches for just one challange.
Thats just not fair.
Same with the doctor challenge were you have to hit 5 survivors that are further than 48 meters away from you, in ONE SINGLE GAME.
You have to actively stay away from survivors to get this challenge, they force you to play badly. In 5 matches i only got up to 3 ONCE. I had to spot 2 survivors working on a gen, then walk away 48 meters (just guessing and praying that it were 48 meters) and then i could shock them.
So either i throw the game and walk away from any survivor i see or i play hundreds of matches and pray to the gods. And this is entirely based of luck.
And if those are CHALLENGES, luck should have to do near nothing with it.
A challenge should either take long (like gaining bloodpoints or hitting 12 survivors while they are exposed) or they should be hard to do (dont have an example for this ready), but just smashing your head against it for days and praying for it to happen should not be part of a challenge, in my opinion at least.

This limitation doesn't make any sense to me. The only argumentation I've seen was that in such way ppl will learn more about killer addons but let's be honest, not everyone rushes to play with the best addons from the very start, most ppl still want to understand the basics of killer power and playing without addons is the best way to do so. That being said, scavenging every single addon from the RNG bloodweb sounds a bit absurd. Applying this limitation to the survivors is even more absurd since they have common tools/addons.
Please rethink your decision and let us use autobloodweb on the unprestiged characters.
yes please
i dont understand why this was not included from the getgo
just for killers you have to level up 31x50 blood webs. That are 1.550 bloodwebs.
If you take only 10 seconds per bloodweb this will take 4,3 hours. Just pressing m1 on some icons.
And this is not even mentioning the survivors, they add an additional 5,1 hours.
Thats just insane. over 9 and a half hours just pressing m1 on icons.

I don’t know what the devs are seeing but I’m constantly seeing the singularity yes 4 kills every match. I play due to their constant teleportation and pallet, breaking with overcharge. I do think that overcharge is good for the singularity, but there should be a cool down to how often he can break pallets. Also, he should not be able to get an expose, hit off starstruck when he slipstreams.
and pallet, breaking with overcharge.
first off, its overclocked not overcharge. Overcharge is a perk from the doctor
but I’m constantly seeing the singularity yes 4 kills every match. I play due to their constant teleportation and pallet, breaking
pre-dropping the pallet works very often against the singularity. He is a killer build around punishing pallet stuns.
Over all the singularity as of right now is not very strong BUT has a lot of potential when he is in the right hands. A lot of people say he is unplayable but in my opinion he is a higher than average killer. He seems pretty strong to me and i dont consider myself a good singularity player.
But he definitely dont deserves a nerf. He is only strong when played in the right hands, average killer players will bomb his overall statistics into the ground, making is seem like he is weak.
One nerf i could accept would be a cooldown on his teleport. Him being able to teleport again right after his overclock ends seems a bit to strong. Just like 7 or 10 seconds would be enough in my opinion.

Let's say the blindness effect will always be on you as the killer and the only way to get rid of it is to hit the survivors
You'll be glad that all the perks that reveal the survivor's aura and with it the add-ons will be useless as the killer.
And to your logic, this is a very healthy counter-play
you dont have hemorrhage all the time from start to finish of the game, just when you get hit. it is supposed to counter healing. Its not just there, the killer needs to put on a addon or perk so you can get it.
The killer has perks and the survivors have perks.
Some killer perks counter survivor perks and some survivor perks counter killer perks. Its just how the game works.
If the killer reads your aura you can counter with distortion. If the killer wants to see your aura he takes a perk for it and if you dont want him to see your aura you take a perk against it.
If survivors have healing perks the killer can counter with hemorrhage. If you want to heal you take a perk for it and if the killer does not want you to heal he will take a perk against it.
This concept is called balancing.
If you pick a perk to counter something you want it to counter that thing, if it would not counter it, why should you take it?
Why should someone equip a perk or addon for hemorrhage if it does not counter healing???
-
this is what status effects are supposed to do bro, counter perks.
I dont know what else to tell you man.
-
yes, lets take out multiplayer mode from the multiplayer game.
I too think we need to punish people if they want to have fun together or want to play effectively.
Thats why every other tactical Multiplayer game on this world only can be played solo. Rainbow six, counter strike, valorant, LoL, Dota 2, Apex, they all are only playable alone. DbD is the ONLY one that does it wrong, because you can play as a team when you are in a team.

...but regressing faster doesn't seems to be anything when killer is chasing? because if they are farther, any survivors can safely work on it, still making killers to stay on gen.
yes, thats true and i also see no total solution to balance it. But like i said, it would at least give killers SOME reason to not stay near the gen. Because as of right now, why should you not just patrol the gens? there is no reason not to do it except for human decency. And the benefits are to strong.
This would not be the ending solution but at least a start.

That’s naive and ignorant? No, it’s cynical realism.
Where did I say it was ok? Please show me where I said this hate was ok because it’s been that way?
No, it really IS that simple. It’s all about perspective. Should you receive hate for who you are and who you want to be? Absolutely not, you don’t have to agree or believe in some of the choices or lifestyles people live, but everybody SHOULD respect each other. But it’s going to happen no matter who you are, so why even give the time of day to the people who are trying to put you down if you know it’s going to happen?
You not literally said that hate is ok, i am sorry if i made it seem like that, but you said that its ok to ignore it, thats what i meant. And ignoring a problem is not the solution to any problem.
And by saying "it has been that way in the past, so dont worry about it" you make it look like you think that its a problem that we dont need to change. But maybe thats just me.
But it’s going to happen no matter who you are, so why even give the time of day to the people who are trying to put you down if you know it’s going to happen?
and thats the problem, that everybody just says it is inevitable and going to happen anyway so we just should ignore it. War is also inevitable, but should we just say its fine and we just should leave that behind us after it happens? No, we need to try to stop it in the future, by spotting the problems, pointing them out and getting rid of it.

it puts their power on cooldown which is significant drawback. Also Nurse after fragile wheeze got nerfed does not travel much faster then 115% m/s killer because of cooldown. She does have that purple add-on that has blink-back which is very good for 3 gens though I have never played vs nurse that used that add-on and 3 gen with it.
small map+tight gen spread is main advantage of 3 gen. remove that and 3 gen is pretty much dead.
like i said, killing 3-gen is not the way to go, this is not balancing, its flipping the coin from killer to survivor.
Even if nurse is not good for this anymore, a lot of killers still are.

@fulltonon said:

Yes, it's not balancing, and I don't think removing strength of 3 gen is balancing either.
high mobility killers keeping 3 gen anyway might be valid point though, I don't know the way to deal with it.
it is very hard to balance end-game in dbd, 3 gen is just a killers last stand to turn a game.
Countering this would just be a overall nerf for killer-endgame. No matter 3-gen or not.
But i am sure there is a way to work around this in a similar way as the anti-face-camp mechanic that is coming to the game. If gens regress faster the further the killer is away from it, i think this would be a good start to balance it (only when one gen is left of course). It would benefit the killer to go for a chase instead of just patrolling between the gens. This would still be no big draw back for mobility killers, but like i said, it would at least be a start to the solution.
-
@fulltonon said:
I mean if you hate killers defending 3 gen from the start so much, why not just make it impossible?
I honestly don't think the swingy nature of "3gen or not" is very nice when we think about game consistency, and with this change setup killers can get a big buff.
Thats not balancing, thats just flipping the coin from killers winning 3 gen to survivors winning 3 gen.
As killer you still need to have a chance to protect 3 gens and if you just put them far apart, killers like blight, nurse, dredge or others like them still would be able to hold 3 gen. Distance is not a factor for them.

Saying that something is "ok" just because it always has been like this is not an argument. Times change and we as humans need to improve and overcome our ancestors flaws. Just brushing off attacks against who you are is not as simple as you think. When you got insulted in cod lobbies it was most likely not because of who you are.
Just because something is the way it is does not mean it is good or not has to be changed. If the nature of something is bad, would you just leave it like that or at least try to change it?
Being face-camped because someone hates who you are is not in any dimension the same as being face-camped because the killer is mad. One is hate the other is toxicity. One is a crime against human rights the other is just proof that you are an #########. And saying you suffered through the same thing is just ignoring the impact that hate has on your mental state.
I am not part of lgtbq nor am i part of poc, but i still try to understand the struggles that most peoples of those groups have to go through in there lives and i hope you really understand that saying things like "i get face-camped, just like you" or "just brush it off" or "i too got insulted once" can really hurt.
Again, i get were your points are coming from but pleas try to change your viewpoint some times.

balance the game better
its hard to balance a game when there are people like you who complain about everything they loose against and automatically think its op or unfair. Just because you cant play against certain killers does not mean they need a nerf or a rework, it means you need to get better. And self-awareness and self-improving are good things.
improve soloq
thats literally impossible, 4 players talking to each other will be stronger than 4 solo players. There is no way to balance this. Either the game is easier for groups or easier for soloq, there is no way around 4 comps being better.
add the suicide option
No. Thats the most terrible idea ever. There is no serious pvp game that has no penalty for just leaving a match and theres a reason for this. When 1 person leaves the match right at the start, just because they dont like the killer, the other 3 survivors have little to no chance to win. This means they are all gonna leave too, because why even bother playing 1v3. All of them wasted there addons, killers AND survivors. And wasted there time in macht-search and loading screen, for nothing. Its also bad for the killer, if a person just leaves they loose point in chase and get no points for hooking.
everyone can move on quickly to the next game without a terrible OP killer to bang your head against!
So you want to lock killers just because you cant play the game? Sounds like a you problem, not a game problem. If i like to play a killer, i want to play him and not just have all 4 survivors disconnect at the start just because the killer i play is strong.
To me, all of this sound like a guy who got his ass beat by mediocre nurse and blight killers and now puts the blame on the devs and the game they made. And thats not enough, you even want to punish people for playing strong killers. Did you ever play any other game? Do you whine about everything strong in every game like this? Just being bad is no reason the change up the game.

"I main nurse and or blight, please don't balance the game or add a way to dodge this unfair unfun matches, please just ignore the problems, I love easy 4ks that take no effort, gg no re kthx" nice.
i think thats just how the game is and also how it is supposed to be, you have no control over, what killer is played and thats good.
If all players just would dodge/ban the best killers every round you could just take killer after killer out of the game. Even if they get balanced there will always be a killer that is just better than the other ones, its not possible to balance all killers equal to each other because they are just not the same.
I am a killer main and i also dont want to play against toolbox survivors in every game but it is the best survivors can do right now, so i cant blame them for it. And if the devs just take everything out of the game that is strong or hard to play against, the game will end up boring, blank and just not divers enough to be fun. Every round would just be the same.
And i personalty dont want that.

I would prefer a chat wheel/Ping system, like Overwatch with prerecorded lines like... "I'm going for the unhook" or "The killer is chasing me" would make more sense. I don't really like basekit in-game chat, especially proximity chat; as it would defeat the immersive experience and that it would give killers, especially the very good hearing ones a distinctive advantage in not only sneaking up on unexpected survivors Blasting music in the microphone but also Triangulation your hidden location through sounds, especially if you make noise in a locker.
But I think the current system is perfect fine, as it more of a solo queue problem that they are too Causal and not immediately doing what is necessary at the moment, when they can see it. If there is a Survivor left on the hook, and the other are not doing generators or being chase by the killers, somebody need to go for the rescue. If a chat wheel exists and you can message /call out your team that you are going for the save, then that would even the communication cap between swf vs solo.
this would be a good start i think, it could really help soloq until they find a way around to balance it.

I do wish everyone played both roles at least to a competent level. I very much believe it makes you a better all-around killer and surv, and would go a long way towards lessing some of the more toxic behaviors imo.
could be true, but me as a survivor would be an inconvenience for my 3 team mates and i dont want to put people through the hot hell of carrying me through all of my games.
I have a bad reaction time and timing what is a neck breaker if you play survivor. As killer those flaws of mine can be reduced by other things like game sense or a good prediction skill.
And even if i play a bad round as killer on a unlucky day, the only person let down by me IS me.
And in my opinion the survivor game-play is boring to me. Thats not the games problem, just my subjective opinion.

This absolutely absurd you not only break the game with this new update and then you break my main killer and I won't be able to get any anniversary offerings on him zero at all then proceed to be like we will fix him later bro fix him now this is ridiculous you ruined the entire anniversary for us wesker players I can't even put BP into him that i was planning to either fox him before the event or give us compensation this unfair and stupid and maybe if you play tested your patches more with all Characters this wouldn't happen every anniversary update you break multiple things and idc if I sound like a cry baby or anything like that I'm just expressing how stupid this is and how all of us wesker players are left in the ditch this entire anniversary thanks alot behavior nice going
i feel your pain brother.
Wesker being not even able to level up is a discrimination of 50% of killer mains. (jk lol, but 1% truth)
The problem is not that you cant play him, i am ok with him being unplayable until he is fixed. But the problem is that you cant even level him.
Why not just deactivate him while in match-search? Why is he locked for the entire homescreen? Just locking the match-search button for him and locking him while in pre-match would be enough.

You think just one killer being down is harsh?
Back when Blight first came out that update caused an insta-overheat for all Xbox1x machines (not slims or regular Xbox1's mind you, just Xbox1x) whenever you started DBD. Had to wait for the next patch for a fix.
When Nemesis came out with the first Resident Evil chapter release that update wreaked all consoles across the board, unplayable for like two or three weeks.
I know you're hurting my friend, but it could be far far worse. These kind of things are simply part of this game's charm!
thats not an argument, just because you make mistakes all the time does not mean that it is ok to make those mistakes.

how to see if someone plays solely survivor:
they want basekit SWF
HEEELLLLLLL *N O*. I would rather play twins than have basekit swf in the game.
- i am a 100% pure killer main, my last round survivor was over 3 years ago
- I love playing twins
- Yes, survivors that could talk to each other (in a proximity chat, only in-game and not pre-match) would be a way to balance soloq
I myself dont play survivor but i have enough empathy and common sense to understand, that not being able to properly communicate with teammates is a huge drawback/punishment for playing soloq. And if you dont understand this then u are just a blank, characterless killer main, complaining about everything that would give survivors a little bit of advantage.
-
i think the zombies should put the survivors one health state down, no matter if they are infected or not. The zombies are already not much of a threat. I play nemesis regularly and the zombies hit a survivor maybe once per game. For me they already have no great value and i didnt even new of this method to abuse them up to right now. Thats insane.
So i think either the zombies need to be much faster by default (to get value out of the amount of hits) or they should just do damage no matter the infection.
-
i just thought about this and i think a proximity chat for survivors would be a solution for this.
I also thought about killer could hear when they talk (dont understanding whats being said though, basicly like whispers perk)
But i think just adding it for survivors would be a good idea to balance soloq to some extant.

More fun fact, everyone can move on quickly to the next game without a terrible OP killer to bang your head against! So actually less people suffer. Either balance the game better, improve soloq or add the suicide option, something's gotta give.
balance the game better
its hard to balance a game when there are people like you who complain about everything they loose against and automatically think its op or unfair.
@uganda_calm said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/379626/please-add-instant-suicide-option
what you suggest is just to get rid of the time-outs when disconnecting.
But i am highly interested, how exactly is nurse and blight less balanced for soloq and how would you balance them?
But i am highly interested, how exactly is nurse and blight less balanced for soloq and how would you balance them?
And you also not answered my question here, sooo...
Either you have no idea why and how things are unbalanced or you are just butthurt because you loose a lot.

The problem would be that games would be a sweatfest of everyone bringing the strongest. But im agree u can recycle what u dont want as 30% of the bp cost
i like the idea of selling the addons you dont need. I never gonna use the most addons i get and having them just laying around in my inventory makes me feel like i wasted half of my bloodpoints for nothing. Effectively making perks and addons i want, twice as price.
@Zokenay said:
I agree, being able to just buy the addons you want would be a blessing, they could also add the ability to "Favorite" an addon or two and increase their chances of appearing in the Bloodweb.
Could make it so you have to P3 that character or something to unlock that function, idk.
But straight up buying addons is a very far stretch i think. It is supposed to be luck after all. And if every one can just by addons, why even have the bloodweb at this point.
I think the bloodweb is a creative, unique and outstanding solution for leveling characters and i would like it changed as little as possible.
-
i as of myself would hate the addition of jet another two level map, but i like the idea of a shopping mall.
You also could include storage rooms and such into the map, or a parking lot.
As of for the killer, if you put the mall into a christmas like stage, we could have a mall-santa-killer. Thats the thing i would think of first when thinking about people connected to a mall.

Ah, hello fellow killer main. Coming from me, a killer main just like you this seems like a really fair and balanced idea.
Oh yes, fellow killer main, this totem is almost pretty strong, right? It almost seems unbalanced but i wanted to give survivors some strong help. So more survivors can feel save while being hunted by a killer, as we do.
Nah, but jokes aside, its just an idea i had about those voodoo doll idea. Of course i have no clue if its strong or not. Just like you guessed, i am a 100% pure killer.

Interesting, so I if there is plastic in the food I sell, but I never claim to be selling clean food. By your morality its not my fault if you buy it and get sick? I mean after all, "sounds like a you problem, other people dont get sick."
I have to ask, How old are you? cause all of this sounds pre twenty to me.
I have to ask, How old are you? cause all of this sounds pre twenty to me.
outplayed, i am 20 on the point and asking for age like this and making hints of the immaturity of others can only come from a 28 year old, did i guess right?

this of course is a different kind of scenario as there are laws to rule those things. So this lays not within the realm of my or anyones opinion for that matter.
In this scenario i can only shape my opinion around the already existing laws and restrictions.
-
Maybe he could stalk them (to learn how they behave) and then he needs to hit them (to get there DNA).
Then he can turn into the survivor.
But the problem is against squads, anybody as soon as the killer turns or they see the killer as them self can just call it out. So all of the Doppelgangers abilitys would be useless.
Did you already think of any solution for this?

Overcharge is the counter to tapping the gen, they get a skill check as soon as they do it.
what if they can hit that skill check? Overcharge is basically noob stomping perk.
manly it is, but it helps against survivors who run to a gen mid chase just to tap it for a second to stop the regression.

How hard does reliable information have to be at the moment of buying have to be before a guy like you who blames people so easily says its the company's fault?
its only the companies fault if they advertise something that is not true. If they would say the new killer is super strong and easy to play and then you buy. Then its the companies fault.
But if there is a 2 week public test build and you even bought it 5 days after the official release..., well
The company is not to blame if you dont like theire product.
But of course you have the right to point at the things you dont like, but you have no right to blame the devs for those points you dont like.

Well again being injured as survivor is terrible on its own and the perk doesn’t work when healthy so if a killer has a insta down then MFT doesn’t help a lot also in order to get the max value from MFT relies on
- map rng cause if there’s nothing around to loop then that 3% won’t do ######### if you can’t make it to a loop granted does the haste help sure but it doesn’t guarantee safety and
- Skill cause 3% haste won’t make someone a better player
so it does have conditions
map rng cause if there’s nothing around to loop then that 3% won’t do #########
did you look at the math from the other post? 20% longer chase just by holding W.
does the haste help sure but it doesn’t guarantee safety
thats just what i already said, it is not op. It is not a instant win. but it polishes out little mistakes that would normally break your neck.
so it does have conditions
And again, the survivor... does nothing... but equipping the perk. The only condition is to be hit, what again, happens in 95% of chases against 90% of killers.
-
there it is, over 20% longer chase, just by equipping a perk and running in a straight line. Imagine also being stunned by this pallet. the survivor would be already on an other map when the killer catches up to him.

if you dont inform your self about what you want to buy, you have no right to complain to the devs that you dont like it. They showed you what you were buying and you just not looked at it, bought it and now you complain that you dont like it. Makes no sense to me, but ok.
The Steam buy page says nothing of the character's difficulty.
and with reviews like this, how could you not know everything you need to know about him.

yeah but you can still inform yourself about the killer and how hard he is to learn. And even if there is no information on it, you can just wait until the release to look it up. When you first played him days after release you would had a lot of time to look him up before buying the chapter.

I don't know man - I tried forcing 3-gens a while back and it doesn't really work unless you can kill off at least 1-2 survivors first. It's a lot harder than survivors think it is for killers. Survivors can just tap the gen to stop the kick (again, another advantage that they can just tap the gen and we need to kick and lose valuable time) then w-key away at a pace that is barely a gnats ass slower than the killer. It's easy to get dragged away and 3 good (or even just decent) survivors can definitely beat me when doing this.
but you did not use my build
Overcharge is the counter to tapping the gen, they get a skill check as soon as they do it.
Well if 4 survivors are still left when you only have 1 gen left its not a good place to be, for every build.
So yes, holding a 3-gen with 4 survivors may be not possible. But like i said previously, works only 9/10 times.

I think I found your main issue.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/G98W0NCCGT1A/image.png
At least its refreshing you admit it. 😆
I just think you dont have the right to complain about a killer being hard to learn, when you knew this killer is hard to learn.
I bought the Killer on Steam, didn't say anything about that on there. Either way, Customers always have the right to complain.
Even if your belief was true, I would still complain if I was not satisfied and bHVR wants my feedback.
i think 12 hours is enough time for over 50% of survivors to learn how to use the EMP some what effectively
Even if that was true, how many Survivors do you think knows how to play against the Killer after 5 days?
I can tell you, everyone I played against today knew it VERY WELL.
It tells me a a lot when you admit you don't know what player onboarding is.

ok, i read up on this and yes, bhvr is pretty terrible at that. But i kinda like to find things out myself and not getting every bit pre cut for me.

Um not the perk is not unconditional and calling the perk “unreasonable strong” is the same thing as op
being injured as survivor makes you one shot by like 99% of attacks and being easier to spot as for the whole combining MFT with exhaust perks you generally need to revolve a build around it and even that doesn’t make you invulnerable if the killers out plays you then there’s nothing much MFT can do and dh isn’t as guaranteed either now
i think you dont understood what i wanted to express
Um not the perk is not unconditional
it, objectively is. You will get injured in every chase against 95% of killers, getting your perk-value. You as survivor dont need to do anything other than being chased. You just equip it and get the value.
calling the perk “unreasonable strong” is the same thing as op
no its not the same, unreasonably strong means it is strong but dont has a reason to be. I dont think its game breaking or op in any way. I just think the price you get for doing nothing except putting it on is a bit to high.
being injured as survivor makes you one shot by like 99% of attacks and being easier to spot
this is not my point, my point is that you make chases longer just by equipping this perk. Of course, if you stay injured all the time its a high risk perk but you dont have to play it as such.
as for the whole combining MFT with exhaust perks you generally need to revolve a build around it
you have to make a build around everything if you want to do it properly, be it gens, healing or looping.
if the killers out plays you then there’s nothing much MFT can do
This is true but only to a certain point, because those 3% will help you over the edge, making things work you would not get to work without it. It helps to polish the mistakes you make during a chase. Washing away minor misplays that would normally give the upper hand to the killer over a long term.
