Honestly I think it needs a better trigger condition. Like for every 2/3 basic hits or something get a token. I don't think that would be too unfair considering it doesn't affect speed so survivors could still juke.
5 potential longer lunges per game is not a perk I'd ever consider using outside of messing about in KYF.
I agree! We should also have it so DS is token based on how many gens pop, and you always have it so when the killer picks you up, you always get perk value.

I totally agree! Looping is an outdated mindset for those, both killer and survivor, who refuse to adapt. Extraordinarily designed killers such as Rin, Caleb, and even our lovely Lisa can counteract that, but more needs to be done. There needs to be a shift to a more stealthy way of playing DBD; the way the devs originally intended. We need more survivors urbaning, lightweighting, quick and quieting and iron willing!

Hah, this in reverse has got me DCing yesterday. I don't wanna justify it all that much, but I'm tired of the game being held hostage at a stand-still when the game really just needs to end. This killer dragged the game out literally 30 minutes after it should've ended because they refused to just play the hatch game. I get you don't want the last person to get out through hatch, but also you can find the hatch SO easily. Like, the killer gets to wander as casually as they want to find it. It had already spawned and there was two of us. Please just find it, hook someone, and camp it and finish the match, y'know?
The hatch wound up being practically touching a hook, so there was no way it would even open in time...
I was dead on hook for at least 25 minutes but she just wouldn't hook me and let the game progress. I just got tired of it. I wish you could choose to bleed out on the ground and not wait the entire 5 minutes or whatever. My teammate would get me up before I bled out multiple times but it was one of those spirit games where you're just NOT going to stealth repair 3 generators... Like please I just want the match to finish so I can go play the game again? Is it really that bad if one person gets out the hatch? Worth spending a half an hour making sure it doesn't happen? Sheesh.
Again I'm not proud but I've really been pushing the d/c penalty partly to see how far it goes, so far I've gotten up to a 6hour ban. I'm afraid it might result in a permanent ban or something though. I wonder if it resets if you behave for x amount of time?

On the other hand, I experienced my first true Blendette(TM) where they were so absent I though they started the game AFK. Didn't do anything but hide with the key, they even had the Bill perk for hatch aura (come on lol). Finally everyone died and I got to watch a baby low rank killer catch her in range of the hatch and yellow mori her as she crawled to it. I yelled in joy.

I don't know if this makes sense, but I didn't really start DCing until the penalty came into play. I almost feel more justified where I'm like "fine I'll sacrifice my ability to play, to punish you for no points for this kill/dragging the game out endlessly." It's petty for sure. I think the DC penalty is good, I've seen a little less DCing in my purple/green ranks that I hover in. I think the important part is it stops a salty player from joining another match immediately, easily getting irritated again and DCing again. There's no perfect solution, but it seems fine.
my man the reason why i swap to p3 blendette after some nasty freddy spirit games or hostage docs who want 1hr games is so they get a feel for how boring it is going against that sort of playstyle. like nothing is more mind numbing as killer then w'ing around trying to find people who aren't doing anything, and nothing is more satisfying than escaping or dcing last second when caught to deny bbq stacks. besides, i cant dc instantly vs slingers and spirits anymore, so we have to find fun in the bad games lol

Yep the people I play with and see in my games are sick of going against Deathslingers and Freddies, NOED etc. Or ruin undying with a Mori, so DS+UB build it is for them. I've started running empathy, autodidact and kindred, and one of us will usually bring a map or small game too. So ######### their NOED/ruin+undying and good luck downing people because I can find everyone and heal them in 5 seconds if I can get stacks in early and I usually can. I've found healing builds to be super fun and useful recently.
Botany/SC/Desperate Measures/WGLF for the ultimate anti slug/heal yourself and others build. Means you can take a whole bunch of hits and punish Onis, Slingers, whoever who want to slug for pressure. It's pretty fun, healing builds actually feel good to play again. But I still like making games go super fast and hoping the first chase lasts at least two or three gens when I'm running gen to gen with people and prove thyself.

i would rather have a long fun game where i can get 32k but sadly i see 3 game delay perks and moris most games sooo gen rush and blend it is :) very fun for most killers who dont have innate tracking on their builds/power

God no. I love getting face camped. It makes me feel like I got under their skin in some way by doing absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Plus why should it be bannable? If I just want to blend in p3 on Yamaoka or Saloon for half an hour or more and watch the killer’s soul be sucked away, that shouldn’t either.

People whine about anything, but the funniest I’ve heard is being accused of hex rushing ruin, undying, devour totems, etc. Like after losing a game, post-game chat is “well I got hex rushed so gg” lmao

It’s fun if you want to meme and yeet yourself so you don’t go second stage due to the killer zoning your team or them just straight ditching you for gens in solo queue. Also for the sweet survival points.

Bold of you to assume most survivors commit to gens. MegHead hear heartbeat? MegHead ook in fear and fun to nearest pallet to camp it. Only way to get this done is luck, at least a duo or pray your team isn’t bots.

It’s because Deathslinger and Pyramid are, or were I guess now, the same. The ability to zone by faking and getting rewarded for essentially mouth-breathing. You’re guaranteed dead or to take a hit on smaller loops as he can shoot, pull you in, down you. Windows are a free hit too. Pallet drops? Free hit if you’re not injured with his shot. You don’t even need to be good at aiming. Get a cross hair and guess what? Easiest insta shots of your life. Suddenly you’re the best Death Slinger around. Much fun. Best tactic is just urbaning with spine chill and having hour long games to return the favour.
