Part of the reason devs made pick ups shorter is to reduce the time people spend stuck, people don't like not having any control, it's not fun.Balancing this by adding another method of being stuck (not being able to turn) would be counter-productive and honestly even worse than just normal pick up times.
I'm not sure that is a reason, since there are many instances where the killer is stuck and can't look around.
That is a reason, check the last dev stream: That is 100% a reason they gave for speeding up so many animations recently. I'm not stating opinion, it's a verifiable fact that the devs said that, it's not debatable. Whether you agree with them or not is debatable however.
EDIT: last stream, or second to last stream.. one of them.

HEAVILY situational.I know right? When do survivors even do gens? They should tie the perk to the survivors main objective or something.

Second, imagine body-blocking a hook with a flashlight in hand... what do you do as killer? there's no timing to mess up, like blinding right at the end of a pick-up. They hit you, you get a guaranteed easy blind. You would be forced to drop a survivor the second you see any bodyblocks with a flashlight.

you people are too toxic i'm just trying to fix a bug. It's supposed to be a community not a fighting pit.I despise DS but damn are they being toxic about a legit exploit. You're completely in the right reporting an exploit (post it in bug reports next time though) . You shouldn't post peoples' names either, but don't let the toxicity here get to you, just ignore them or your salt levels will rise and your IQ will drop.

Just increase the protection range.
Let me get a stack whenever "Protection" bloodpoints trigger. Not only if I get "Protection" within 2m of the guy.

A killer with Whispers could deny you doing anything, if you're near the hatch they can sit on hatch till they find you. if you're not near hatch they'll move till Whispers turns on but keep the hatch between them and you. If they find you, they can follow you until you do something that will let them grab you.Basically, if the killer has Whispers it will still be a stalemate, but only for 2 minutes. Then the killer wins.
For killers without Whispers this idea is pretty good actually.
But its only killer found hatch first.
That's true, but if the survivor finds hatch first it doesn't even matter if there's a timer

Definitely agreed and since the perk Stake Out already detects if you're in terror radius and not in a chase, it shouldn't be too hard to apply bloodpoints to the same conditions.

So i wanna know how is it possible to adapt as a new survivor if you keep getting camped?
The annoying non-helpful answer is "don't get caught" but honestly it's the only thing that will stop that happening.
The helpful advice would be "how do you want to avoid getting caught?" Then make a build around that.

In that case I'd say Brutal Strength, it's a really nice Quality of Life perk honestly, anything that reduces the amount of time you spend staring at pallets.
Also you can choose what side of a pallet a survivors on when you break it, if you get them on a bad side they have half a second less time to get somewhere good and that half a second can mean a lot.
-
If you're going sweaty: Bamboozle is obvious, just delete jungle gyms and L walls, turn everything into pallet loops. If you like being looped and hate doing anything but loops, Bamboozle is the perk for you.

Sounds very imbalanced.Just take Enduring and eat all pallets. Eziest game ever.
Why do you believe it's unbalanced?
Lemme throw some numbers in this
1 - Base pallet stun : 2.1 seconds
2 - Enduring pallet stun : 1.2 seconds3: Base pallet break: 2.6 seconds
4: Brutal Strength pallet break: 2.16 secondsEnduring increases recovery rate by 75% or rather, stuns last for 43% less time. (I can explain the maths if needs be)
So Lets say we increase stuns by 1 second
5 - New pallet stun: 3.1 seconds
6 - New Enduring pallet stun: 1.77 secondsHmm, still waaaay better than Brutal Strength. How about we add 2 seconds? (sorry non-Enduring users)
7 - New new pallet stun: 4.1 seconds
8: New new Enduring pallet stun: 2.34 seconds.Okay, so now to break a pallet Enduring takes 0.18 seconds longer than Brutal Strength, so as long as you respect every single pallet, never get stunned and survivors never loop you again due to respect then it's more efficient.
But:- If you get stunned even once it will take you 10 stun-free pallet breaks to match Enduring efficiency again.
- If you get looped even once more that's probably going to be what... at least a 3 second loop? that's 16-17 stun-free pallets you're going to have to break to match Enduring.
EDIT: The point I'm making is, to make the pallet stun-break fair you'd have to add 2 seconds to a stun, nerf Enduring into an early grave, or buff Brutal Strength so much that it literally reverses time itself to balance it against Enduring.

1- I'm pretty sure your aura is blocked but they will see the survivor healing you 100% yes.
2- No if someone rage quits/DC's it will not count towards your sole survivor. They should do something about #2, the perk's rarely going to be useful as it is without concerning yourself with whether they actually die or just dc.

also is it Viable for stealth? does it make that much of a difference in noise reduction?killers- is it harder for you to tell when someone is working on a gen with this perk? Like could you walk by at passed 8m and tell?
They will rarely hear you on the gen, the issue is they will hear the generator progression and most killers just check the gen because it's making a load of noise.
There are times when it's useful, like 3 gen strats or if the killer is chasing someone else near the gen you are working on.
Also bear in mind that even if the explosion doesn't happen, you still get the lost progress

Now I know this sounds really stupid to ask because it's a buff, but am I the only one who thinks it's too fast? I mean I wouldn't mind a slight decrease in time, but 3 seconds is a lot.I think 3.5 seconds would be a nice middle ground

Amongst all the trash there has to be truth. The new changes are for the better and great - good survivors will know this. I hope the Devs won't make a mistake and listen to all those whiny survivor mains crying themselves into the ground.Quality of life has returned to the game, at last.
(Btw, I'm a survivor main.)
Agreed, I'd have liked some things buffed a little more but there is nothing in the update I would want less of, tweaks maybe, nerfs not at all.

Am I correct in assuming with 1 survivor dead, Nurses Calling would see you from 28-21m away but then stop seeing you from 20m or less?
Yes, you are correct!

good to know, thank you!
I cant see it being useful until 2 people die though.
Nurses, Deerstalker, Bitter Murmur, if I am triggering any of those within 20m, they'll find me anyway.
if 2 survivors are dead, only Bitter Murmur is an issue and I suppose.Speaking of Nurses, I don't run self-care. If someone without Sole Survivor is healing me, do they still show up? if they do then I have close to zero use for the perk.
EDIT: Actually it would be very useful for those rare aura reading addons, but they are pretty rare to run into.
