  • At this point all we can do is spread awareness about the clicking problem. (Literally had a clicker today when they found out i brought lightborn) Im not very confident bhvr will go great lengths to recognize this as a problem...

  • Ok guys i got it XD thank you. Licensed and legal issues is what pushed them to fix the bug. Which actually makes more sense that they did that first and not any of the other bugs. I wasn't quite understanding that. And if they fixed it, of course it was probably going to fix their original characters too.

Also @Itooshie i don't get a lot of kates. Now David mains (in my opinion) are a different breed. They give no shits and have done the most unnecessary stuff that I have seen that GUARANTEED only gets them killed. And honestly, it's the funniest to watch.

"WHY DID THEY MAKE IT A LINKED SET"

If you were to say Janes head, or Kates floral crown I would totally agree wjth you.

Even weapons from killer sets are a bit of a grey area.

But at the end if the day, they are not going to budge on this as is evident with the mass complaints and threads getting ignored.

Well it sounds like jane and kate were your mains while mine is nea. But I already figured they weren't going to change it. Just gonna pay some respects to the glitch.

Thank you all for lending an ear, just needed to get that off my chest. Hopefully, all of the other issues can be resolved.

Now excuse me while I go contemplate my life in the shower.

Yeah that Nea outfit is the prime example why sets for original character can definitely make sense! It looks cool in the set and is as such pretty often bought/used. And mix and matching just doesn’t work for it

to each their own, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • @Itooshie said:

God that Nea head is so ugly without a hood.🤢🤢🤮

And the hood just looks Janky with her other hairs.

that's what made it great lmfao

I wouldn't mind being able to mix and match the music too, Plague and Tricksters themes are my favorite but are 2 characters I don't have fun playing as.

I can agree with that statement. I do play as trickster just for the fact he's an enjoyable character but it feels impossible to play serious rounds cause downing someone as him takes an eternity lmfao

When it comes to Cheryl we can only blame Konami since they own her and they specifically don't want the mix and matching

BHVR's original characters are another discussion tho

hmm okay. I can understand the licensing is a touchy subject. I'm curious though, for the survivor face updates, if Quentin's face will be updated too because i know that has been an issue with the community and with the a nightmare on elm street license.

  • Hello~ I play both swf and solo. Personally, I love playing solo, but that's probably because it spikes my adrenaline 😅. I'm sorry to hear your frustrations but in my years of playing dbd, It is normal. My rounds tend to go way more lenient than what I hear my friends and other players go through. Now, if you're not looking for tips, you can stop here.

But if i were to give personal tips, look out for yourself first. Objectives should be first but you also want to keep as many of your teammates on hand as you can. Remember, you can't talk to nobody. You don't know what other survivors are doing. So they could be crouching or running the killer and you won't know. (The perk Bond could help you with that issue). So if you notice nobody is going for saves or straight up not helping to escape, then that's when you can set your priorities there. Just make sure you contribute to the round as much as you can but also know when to play smart. Some survivors will give you ######### now and again but in those times they had messed up just as much as I had in the past so don't sweat the occasional immersion or accidental haunted ground cleanse lol.

I play with headphones that can practically hear anything and everything. So as survivor i can hear if someone startled a crow or footsteps and it gives me a head start (The perk Spine Chill can help with that too). Over time, you'll learn what you can relax on. I will work on a generator with the killer 2 feet away from me but only if they're focused on another survivor. Terror radius doesn't always mean the killer is breathing down your back. It just means they're nearby and to be cautious.

I don't know how long you've been playing but I know a hard thing in the game is running the killer. When you're being chased always keep note of a pallet or a window nearby. They can keep you alive longer than if you were running a straight line. Exhaustion perks can also help keep you ahead of the killer. (Balanced Landing, Sprint Burst, Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Lithe, etc. but I recommend using one at a time due to if you use one, you'll have a cool down for 60 sec and wont be able to use the others).

I've hand picked perks that help me stay alive longer than my team. Unbreakable being my favorite perk. I rely on it solely for the fact that if my team is losing or the killer is distracted I can save myself and/or anybody nearby and flip our odds.

Each killer also has a unique ability so take notes of what they do and how to dodge them. Play them even. Try their perks and add-ons. It'll help you know you're enemy better.

So if you want you can try this as a build (Bond, Spine Chill, Lithe, Unbreakable) and see what perk you use most and you'll be able to find out what kind of survivor you are. If you like Bond, you might be a objective player. Put more perks meant for generators and survival. If you like spine chill, you might be and evader player. Find perks that pin point the killer and your team. If you like Lithe or any other exhaustion perk, tend to be chased by the killer often so you might be very altruistic. Put on perks to help yourself and your team. If you like Unbreakable, you could be just in need of those second chances for a successful escape and even win. Find those second chance perks that heal or hide you. Clothing can help with that too.

Sorry if this was too much. I hope i was helpful to someone.

  • I personally like this rework. It's my favorite <3

  • I became a victim to it yesterday 😭 while in chase, it just sucked me in. I've seen multiple people get stuck to it in the same manner. As both killer and survivor. The killer can chose to help but it's not guaranteed.

  • I actually enjoy playing solo. I've learned to play better without help. Your tips are very useful as i myself have followed these through. The biggest challenge playing solo is there is no guarantee anything will be done or if you'll be saved after running the killer. So for people reading this just find what your strong play style (whether it is alterism ((saving people)), boldness ((Running killer)), evader ((stealth)), or lightbringer ((work on gens))) and try to learn to combine it with the other play styles. Play killer if you want. I do so to get a better understanding of the killer. People are going to get mad regardless for not doing what they wanted or not understanding their signals before dying in game. I die and I still have fun. So if you tried your best, then the person who called you "Scum" should look in the mirror.

  • Crouch through torment. If they don't cage someone, your third hook state is his easy kill.

His long range attack. Distance yourself. If you cant, don't throw down a pallet or vault a window while he is dragging. He is most likely aiming a shot to get you.

If you get a chance, play as the killer with his perks. Gives you better understanding what they will most likely do.

  • I would drop my main just to run around in a speedo ngl

  • Always Micheal Myer The creepy mofo X'D

  • Nea now and forever

  • Before the update, this was my essential way of saving people

  • It's hard to navigate in this place. I've gotten used to the swamp but this place makes me groan 10x worse.
