  • Yes also why do the gloves on Huntress say they don’t stack when there isn’t another add on it can stack with? Also that it DOES stack with Iron Maiden?

  • We don’t really know much about the Demogorgon. Maybe it has a motivation? I’m really interested to see what they have as it’s character description

  • I’m really excited to see what you guys have made

  • I hope it still has some good open spaces and isn’t just another lerys. A mixture of open and closed would be fine with me

  • I found a content creator on YouTube, they seemed to have playing so I bought the game

  • Guys it’s gotta be Bob. He’s got all the qualities of a hopeful guy and I think it fits the lore of DBD. Plus I’m sure it’s the only character the stranger things people would be okay with letting us have. Murdering teenagers over and over doesn’t seem to be on the agenda, so I don’t personally think it could be Nancy, Steve, or Eleven

  • they changed Decisive strike from its horribly broken state

I recently watched an old DBD video on YouTube and the person got D striked three times in one game. I remember how triggered I use to get from that lol

  • Huntress is the most fun to play, can’t change my mind.

  • I’m really excited to see if it’s a licensed chapter, Netflix did say they had association with BHVR. It could be something completely unrelated to DBD but one can only hope

  • Yea but I don't want to play try hard. But with all these being played you kinda have to to deal with these. I'm not a very good survivor, and I make quite a bit of mistakes. I want to have a good time and I'm not complaining about not being able to escape. These balance adjustments have made it boring, saying "it's not that bad" is pretty dense. It's not about difficulty, it's about having to spend extra time just waiting to perform actions. Of course it's not difficult to hold M1, ruin skillchecks aren't super difficult in themselves. However, no one goes into a game and goes Yay! Sloppy Butcher! It's boring. I play video games to have fun.

  • I would love a mode where I could play as the killer with a friend, but I don't think it would be fun for survivors. If two killers are on you, then you can get immediately downed from an attack from the second killer after the first hits you.

Although I'd love to see what happens if two Bubbas chainsaw into each other

  • @Mister_xD said:

if they do that, turn around. you will hit them, since they will run straigth into you - on small objects.

its honestly not too hard... in high ranks it should be well known its a bad idea to follow survivor's paths 1:1.

It's not that small of objects, it's like a small-medium sized rock. If someone is injured I'm going to try to down them, the rounding of rocks is just a way to lengthen the chase

  • I absolutely love the new Badham maps. It works for every killer, enough line-of-sight blockers for stealth killers like Pig and Ghostface, but not too much that Huntress suffers. There are enough pallets, and only a couple are really strong. The balance is just right

  • I thought Noed on Huntress was a good idea

I couldn't play without premonition lol

  • Been called a hacker a few times, mostly for BBQ and Chili. Also when it’s rank reset and I get matched with low ranks survivors and I hit them with hatchets from far away. I pretty sure auto-aim wouldn’t even work with hatchet travel time lol

  • That's nice to know, I thought I've been doing it wrong and am getting very frustrated. On nurse its the worst. If she blinks into a "grab," it'll force the blood wipe animation and the fatigue after that it's awful

  • It does make sense that it should be directional, but huntress’s power was so map specific. The change to her lullaby buffed her at maps that she couldn’t throw hatchets on, like treatment theater and yamaoka.

  • the build that’s sort of “standard” for Huntress is bbq and chili, nurses calling, whispers, and hex ruin. Bbq is amazing for long distance shots, and just ingeneral for tracking. Huntress is 110% speed so knowing where to go next is extremely helpful for map pressure. Whispers can also provide that extra information, and help to fight against extremely immersive survivors with her hum radius being bigger than any terror radius. Although with the change to her directional hum, I’ve been running other perks for fun. Discordance and bitter murmur work just as well too.

Hex: Ruin is the best slow down perk for the beginning of a match, even if it gets destroyed, it’ll stop generators from being completed too fast in order for you to get your first knock down. I’ve tried other perks like pop goes the weasel, but nothing does the trick like ruin.

Nurses calling is really good on Huntress, since she can throw hatchets at the aura of survivors she sees. Also survivors seem to forget a lot that the hit box doesn’t change when they heal, your character looks smaller but you can still hit them as if they were standing.

I wouldn’t use Iron Maiden on huntress, although the locker animation can be dull seeing it all the time it doesn’t really save that much time. Although if you wanna be super fast put on the gloves add on that allows her to grab hatchets faster and Iron Maiden, it’s insane.

Ultimately you should experiment, Huntress is such a fun killer and not low tier so you can probably get away with not using ruin in the mid ranks.

  • I’m afraid that when and if looping becomes nerfed then a ton of survivors will stop playing. Their objective is to last as long as possible and if that becomes shorter because the game takes it away, then it won’t be as fun anymore. I’m sure the devs recognize this and I don’t blame them for not hastily redesigning maps. We all know streamers who know where every pallet is and all the safe loops, and if it becomes impossible to have long chases because of game design, they may stop playing.

Killer would be fun as all hell without looping, but you need survivors to have a good time too.

  • Yes please, especially on huntress when she throws a hatchet. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or intentional, but it’s really nauseating

  • But what if they decide to just add one survivor, namely Bob because he isn’t in the show anymore, and he is older so it’s wouldn’t be like they added a kid as a survivor. It would be so perfect

  • it's a known bug, it's just visual though you should still get all of your bloodpoints

  • I really do hope they decide to keep him where he is, in the end he can be looped so having this strong power can help compensate.

  • My hope for the future is that there is a second objective that makes the game longer, and lessen the time of generators. Playing survivor is boring unless you’re being chased, IMO. Something to make survivors move around more and give potential to be seen by the killer, it would be super tense and fun

  • @Maelstrom10 said:

Myers is a bit of a special case, expecially due to how his tier one is structured. i do agree that perks like tinkerer should block it temporarily, and cloaked wraith due to his invisibility, but removing it against the pig (While a nice buff) doesn't really fit since she isin't primarily a stealthy killer (and you can still see her coming from quite far away. that being said i would like it changed on the pig.

It would be a nice change, i support it

But pig is a stealthy killer, when they buffed her event scoring for ambush they wanted to encourage her stealthy mechanic. It may not be the best, but she is an ambush killer. I don’t think OoO is going to get changed though, it’s not ran enough, if it was in every game I’m sure it would be.

  • The skilled huntress achievement is definitely a difficult one, but there is a method you can use to make it easier. Put on tons of aura detection perks, bitter murmur, discordance, bbq and chili, surveillance. Then you put on iridescent heads, with the infantry belt of course. You have to down the survivors so the instas make it so much easier. Then you have to choose a map that has a lot of generators that are in the open, blood lodge or a corn map. Then you just snipe when you see someone with your perks, also remember that you can hit people if they are working on a generator from any side. The hit box is slightly above the gen, so aim a bit higher and you’ll get them. In general, hit boxes for hatchets can be hit higher than most people think.

It also helps if you can convince the survivors that you are looking for snipes, I had a game where I got about 7 because a Kate figured out what I was doing and let me get a couple. She was cool. Perhaps it’s not the intended way to finish the achievement, but there’s are so many and not everybody has the time to become a huntress main.

  • i would love it if they just changed how it affects certain killers. Doesn’t show ghostface while he’s stealth, but show him while he’s normally walking around. Same thing with Wraith and Pig, don’t show them while they’re cloaked, crouched. Kinda give them the Micheal treatment, they’re immune to detection perks while in their stealth modes

  • moris and keys shouldn’t be in the game, in my opinion. Both cut short the game for the other player, in a not very fun way. I do love the mori animations, but at least make them for 2 hooks when they’ll be dead anyway. I suppose you could keep the keys but make the hatch not spawn until the exit gates are powered or it’s the last player alive, that way they’re still useful just not a work around for not doing generators and escaping for free

  • The problem I had with the livestream was that it was laggy and low quality. I thought maybe it was my internet but I checked back on the YouTube video and the frame rate dropped often. It was their first stream of this type, so I didn’t expect it to be perfect. I hope they improve for the future

  • When you tunnel trapped survivors you’re not letting the RBT do it’s job. I hate seeing piggys tunnel, they give pig a bad name :( strongly agree with the harder skillcheck instead of frequent skillchecks! A lot of pigs add ones are underwhelming, I usually use the one that gives an extra trap and combat straps every game. Also I’d like love to see an add on that increased crouch speed

  • I don’t play survivor enough to have a favorite, but for killer it’s monitor and abuse. I run it on Hag, Spirit, Pig, Micheal, and Plague. It’s so useful against extremely immersed players, and every killer has its specific use.

  • Underrated: pig and hag

pigs traps slow the game down, especially if you bring an extra. Sneaking up on people gives you a good first hit, the dash helps get survivors on certain loops or makes them abandon them. #dashisnottrash

hag had the highest kill rate, you all just hate the low fov. Also monitor and abuse makes her terror radius tiny

  • Give killers more bloodpoints for survive with friends groups! I feel like that’s good for killers, maybe 25% more for each survivor in the group? Less dodging of four man groups and more bloodpoints in general! I honestly think that we should get more bloodpoints anyway, or just make everything in the bloodweb cost less

  • Spirit prayer beads shouldn't be in the game, you made her power about listening to her wooshing to you and it’s gone. That’s powerful.

Iridescent heads for huntress is pretty strong, to be fair not a lot of huntress’s use them which is cool. But just because it’s rare doesn’t make it fair.

Instaheals are the bane of my existence. Don’t you dare bring that stinky medkit near me I’ll tunnel you I’ll do it.

  • I’ve put a lot of hours into huntress, she’s the first killer I ever played. I very strongly believe that she needs a change. It’s to adjust her to high rank players, I don’t believe it’d effect low ranks as much. When she has directional humming, you can tell where she is on a loop, especially if you’re not in a chase. This leaves room for an extremely long catch up time, following the scratch marks around either a building or a pile of logs, anything to get sight and actually gain bloodlust because you can’t get a sightline for hatchet throws. You cannot change directions to try and mindgame because Huntress gotta hum and let the whole world know her location. Don’t even get me started on closed wall maps, Treatment Theater, the Game, Haddonfield. Any sort of loop without objects that are throwable over. I just want huntress to not be entirely map dependent.

i have a proposal, maybe it’s too much idk. Give the bunny queen 115% speed. She’s got the legs for it. This completely nullifies all the points I made, instead of being looped four times it’s two, like other killers. She has better map presence because she can physically get there faster. The hum wouldn’t be a big issue, you hear and you gotta turn towards it immediately, cause she’s comin for you. I don’t mind making the hum range a tad bigger to compensate, but I promise this. Id take off hex ruin if she had 115% speed. Huntress needs the small amount of time ruin lasts because she can’t book it to stop a gen ever, and I’ve tried pop goes the weasel it just doesn’t slow the gens significantly enough. I’m tired of running around a single rock because the survivor knows I’m slow and they don’t get slowed by dumb collision as much.

huntress is a strong killer, but let me use other perks besides ruin and not be punished for being slow. The closed wall maps aren’t as annoying, I’m just a really loud killer that you know is coming, but you don’t have the time to urbanely evade into the void. It’s the buff y’all didn’t know she needed.

  • Any killer can be annoying if they play like a jerk, but I hate playing against billy. The instadowns he gets while you’re caught in the open feels cheap. Course he can be looped, but there are plenty of dead zones and at high ranks Billy’s always have spirit fury and enduring to make up for Billy’s one weakness. Doesn’t help that billy is a very commonly played killer, I like variety.

Doctor is also not very fun, there isn’t any point to sneaking anymore might as well tape your shift button down for the whole game. Also how he can interrupt your hook grabbing animation by shocking you? Here let me make it impossible for survivors to do the thing they’re meant to do.

Trapper is fun idk what you all are talking about. Having constant anxiety and being engaged is thrilling.

  • I’m not seeing a lot of people saying they like playing killer, which is fine because more lobbies for me!

i love playing killer, it’s so satisfying when you play well and outplay good survivors. Sure there are frustrating parts, but what game doesn’t have those? Spirit is super fun, guessing where survivors are going and being right is awesome. Of course you’re gonna mess up sometimes, but you can’t be right every single time. Huntress’s cross map hatchets are to die for, and sneaky Pig is too fun.

i do wish there were certain parts of the game changed, but the devs are working and they’ve gotten this far so I’m hopeful for the future
