I don't go out of my way, but if the opportunity presents itself I'll cleanse a totem.

Are you lurking in here "Karen"? 😘

It's even worse that they lost to an m1 killer. You basically played a killer without their power and still won. Gratz.
Thanks!
Wouldn't mind getting better with his power, but not there yet. Think I only got 2 or 3 downs with the saws. On the flip side, since I know I'm not great with it I use it selectively.
-
Just turn off your chat. Although, if you do it to other killers then nut up and learn to take what you dish out.
-
Let me point out also that even she didn't accuse me of camping or tunneling...the survivor go to. It didn't happen.
She accused me of being ######### with the chainsaw.... which allowed me to win. And that console players were bad.
Hell, I'm only playing Bubba to get the teachables and will rarely touch him after that.

Why thank you sir! It honestly was a good game and I meant the gg I gave her. Too bad her maturity level was subpar.

I used to think running NOED and Franklin's wasn't funny. Now I know it is hilarious!
-
I play Plague a bit. She needs a buff....badly. Survivors have way too much control over her power. When and WHERE they cleanse is critical. there are times I never even get to use corrupt. If she's a serious threat to you, you should try her out until you understand how weak she is before calling for her to be nerfed.
-
I don't really care. I only use NOED when playing a killer I'm terrible with (doing a daily or leveling for teachables) and expect to lose anyway. If they cleaned totems, good on them. Probably means the game lasted longer than it should have and I got a few extra bp anyway.

Do you honestly think using voice comms is something the devs didn’t intend? This game wasn’t made in the 90’s and the devs knew voice comms would be used and if you think otherwise then you’re a bit of a special case. If it was cheating it would be in the rules.
I agree. I think the devs did know people would be using voice comms, but they don't balance the game against it. OoO is fine without comms... broke as hell with them. Blindness is decent without comms... 100% useless with them. If perks, add ons, etc. took comms into account, most people wouldn't be complaining about their use.

Now to run Franklin's with NOED for maximum Survivor head explosion!
Lol, I've been doing this with Bubba lately as I level him to 40. Hate playing him but this combo, with Infectious Fright and BBQ and Chili have made playing him a bit more tolerable.

I’ve always been curious when killers say that. How can survivors LOOK like a “bully squad”?
Cosmetics that require lots of iridescent shards, multiple flashlights, keys, friends on Steam, all identical skins (gotta make sure the OoO is hard to pick out), all cross-platform. This may not be 100% foolproof, but I don't need it to be. You have 2 or 3 of these things, I'm out.

Last weekend i had a rough patch of like 5 in a row that were just awful, i think i dodged about 15 straight lobbies after that for a suitable match.
Last weekend was rough. I depipped 2 ranks from 9 to 11 because I kept getting matched to red teams.
-
I occasionally give hatch to a good player if they weren't tbagging every pallet. Usually it's appreciated but sometimes not. It usually takes quite a few games after that "not" before I play nice.
-
Got my first Iri Key with Franklin's tonight. It was a magical moment. Turned into a 3k and hatch for one that didn't bring a key. Wonderful bait as it lay on the ground.
-
Weak killers. It'd be nice if killers were an real threat.

Obviously i do or i wouldnt be in here asking for it.
I guess to each there own. I'd be happy to give you my chat if possible. Wide world of colorful slurs out there to experience. Well...unless you only play survivor. I've never seen a killer throw a tantrum like the survivors do. In fact I've never seen a killer say anything more than gg.

Thats fine for you because you have the option at least
You are correct, I do have the option. I'm saying that option isn't worth having in this game. Honestly...seriously....most post game chat is one of these 2 things...
offwhiteknight: gg wp
sumguythatescaped:gg
OR
offwhiteknight: gg
sumguyIkilled: u tnnelld camp me!!!!!!!!!!!!! u r ######### ######### trash! ######### u!
Do you really need that option?
-
Pfft! They should just remove chat altogether. I turn it off about 50% of the time anyway. Most is just salty ######### talking anyway.
-
I play killer around Rank 9-12. I'm new. I'm learning and I've gotten a lot better than I started. I don't face camp and I only tunnel or proxy camp when it's strategic. I can hold my own against a green/purple team and have a really good, fun game.
I'm tired of facing 3 and 4 red ranks in every game though. Most of the people I play against are so much better than me that I don't learn anything from it. The game is done in 7-8 minutes and 3-4 escaped. I might not have even seen 1 or 2 of them until the gates power up and the harassing begins. I'm not playing for you to farm bp off of. I play to have fun, which I haven't had much of this weekend.
We do agree though. I don't want you to have bad killers either. I would much rather you be destroyed by a Spirit, Freddy, Deathslinger, Nurse or Blight and give me time to get good enough to be one of those.
-
Yes. This.

Here’s a few of my games from today. It looked fine for the most part?
That's about the same as what I've been getting all weekend, except I'm not rank 1. I'm rank 9.
-
Been a rough weekend. I'm rank 9 and have been facing full red swf teams back to back. Was trying to just do a daily with plague and couldn't. Some have been cool in post game chat with tips, bitching about mm, encouragement, etc ... others have been toxic dickheads. Fortunately I talk ######### way better than I play DBD.
-
So last night I played survivor again until the queue times pushed me back over to killer. I've gotten up to Rank 17 and in most of the games I'm playing I'm the lowest rank. It is getting easier with better team mates and perks.
I'm going to say though that I don't see the camping and tunneling that is so complained about at lower ranks. It happens, but it's not every other game like the forums here would have me believe. It also might be once in a game rather than non-stop. As someone who's played way more killer than survivor, I think some of those tunnels are unintentional and maybe survivor mains need to unclench a bit about tunneling.
Now that said... ######### is up with Bubba players? Every one I've faced is a face and/or Insidious camper. And the tactic doesn't work. They lose. A lot.
-
- Bubba... Tunnel, Franklin's, Camp.
- Huntress... That. DAMN. Humming....
- no third...That's the only 2 I don't like. One seems to bring out the worst kind of players and the other drives me crazy.
-
I like to run Doctor with...
Distressing - Unnerving Presence - Sloppy Butcher - Corrupt Intervention
I use a "Calm" and "Order" Notes - Purple if available - and sometime a map offering to go to a smaller map.
I enjoy it, but it regularly gets complaints in post-game chat. It may suck to play against, but it's fun to play. You get so much info about survivor location with the static blast and switching targets creates tons of map pressure. If you can get a 4 gen, that's usually game over.
Very rarely lose all 5 gens and even if I do and all 4 escape, I usually get at least a "Brutal" because of the constant chases and juggling targets.
I also usually run Hag with
Sloppy Butcher- Ruin - Whispers - Agitation or Unrelenting(helps if ping is bad)(NOED if I think you're a SWF)
Add ons are the Dried Cicada and the Half Egg Shell
Honestly, I don't think this is a particularly great build but the blood web has been very unlucky for me (thought going prestige was supposed to help that). I think people just don't like facing Hag and that's why she gets the post game hate. I could probably run her perkless and the hate would still be there.

You get what you deserve for playing survivor tbh.
Yeah, yeah, I know. Just curious how the other side lives. Apparently they don't!

I play killer almost exclusively on PC and get post-game chat toxicity about 1 in 10 games. I also get post-game praise about 1 in 20 games that goes beyond "gg". It's always a surprise to get a very positive comment and much appreciated.

So, today I had time for 3 games. I wanted to make the best of it, since there is Bloodrush and I need BPs.. I figured I would make at least 1 challenge. Currently rank 3 on PC.
Challenge: Get a great result on 10 skill checks. Easy, or so I believed.
Game 1 - Trapper. Made 2 great, then tunneled to death through 3 hooks. The team made it out and noone else got hooked cause I held the killer the whole game.
Game 2 - Doctor. Made another 2 great, then tunneled. Dead on my 2nd hook because of my teammates stood in the corner and self caring and healing each other. Also risky save with no BT.
Game 3 - Huntress. Made the rest of my great skill checks (thank god). Yet, tunneled of the hook and dead on 2nd hook again.
I hate toxicness, I never spam the flashlight or teabag or anything.
Killers, why??
I read so much about toxic survivors being a problem, but I really dont feel sorry when Im being threated this way. I see toxic killers more often than toxic survivors. Is it just me?
Thanks for a good evening fellow gamers, not.
That's an unfortunate string of luck, but switch to killer. That's every day, 2/3 games. Tbags, emotes, stupid...stupid...seriously, stupid post-game chat, etc. I used to never run NOED, but I've started doing it just to make sure the survivors leave the game when they are better than me.

Sure, I get that players play different based on challenges, etc (we often take builds that will lower our chance to win). I find it hard to believe any strategy involves hook 1 person and then Stand there all game and get the bare minimum number of blood points and literally don't interact with the game.
Behavior in games is easier to misinterpret than anything else in the world. If he perceived your team as toxic (correct or not) then ruining your game might be his goal. Killer queues are so short, who cares about BP. I can ######### up your fun, end the game and be back in another within a minute.
-
Just like with SWF survivors, winning isn't always the killers goal.
-
Maybe a deep one skin for demogorgan then. We need a killer fish man.
No doubt Lovecraft had some serious issues, but we're in a game about killers hunting and sacrificing human victims. Some might say we have issues. Why does every survivor have to be a "good" stereotype? Surely the Entity doesn't discriminate. ;)
-
Last night I played a game against a very toxic SWF that was obviously on coms. Best game ever. I switched to an ebony mori and NOED before the game started. Two Blendette's with toolkits and 2 flashlights in the lobby kinda telegraphed their intentions. Mori'd one during the game then slugged the other 3 with NOED. Opened the gates to start the EGC and mori'd another that had almost crawled to the gate. Got 2 DCs from the final survivors. Think that is my new strategy vs anyone I think might be a SWF.

You bruised his ego lol That's the problem when some people hit a certain skill level in this game they think they should win every match and if they don't then it's the camping tunnelling trash killers fault lmao
Sad thing is I was trying to ignore him and play the game, but he wouldn't let me. He would almost assuredly have survived if he just played a regular game.
Guess I should be glad it wasn't a 4 man swf all with the same attitude... that's always fun...
-
Favs:
Hag: Love getting the jump scares on people. She's a lot of fun and allows you to not have to stress for the first couple of minutes of the game.
Trapper: *Snap**Aaargh* is the most satisfying sound in the world.
Doctor: So easy to play. Constantly chasing. Tons of bp. No need to ######### with boring stealth survivors.
Least Favs:
Billy: *Vroooooooom* whiff....
Blight: fix collision and he goes into favs.
Nurse: I suck with her and don't want to invest the time to improve.
-
Fav: Lery's. I just always seem to do okay there.
Hate: the Game. I never seem to win on that map.

It’s a soft protest. A way of saying they didn’t like a circumstance within the game.
Not sure what that would be. The guy was very good, despite being obnoxious in a lot of toxic ways. Maybe he didn't like me puking on him! Vomimommy for the win! Lol, actually I lost pretty bad.... but I got that guy and I'll watch for him from now on.

Are you on console or PC? I think i might know why.
I'm on PC. The survivor was too. All the other survivors were console.
-
I'm glad I'm not the only one that was wondering about the blood web. Mine have been total crap.
-
Just ignore them. They are wasting time that they could be doing generators and that just helps you. A lot of times when I ignore those obnoxious players they will get close enough to give me a free hit and sometimes even a down. If you down them, hook them and camp them out of the game if you want. You can also slug them and leave them as bait. I play a lot of Hag and I love to get one of those guys slugged in the middle of my territory. They LOVE when you let them bleed out! Get lots of DC from them. Best feeling ever!!
All they have really done is hurt their team and help you.
-
I like Doc. Maybe not the best chaser in the game, but never seems to be out of a chase.
-
I was hoping for a change to Clown that would make me want to play him because he is, visually, the killer I like the most. This isn't it.
-
Why not just have DS end once the survivor has moved a certain distance from the killer? If the survivor gets to 32m (for instance), the killer is not intentionally tunneling them. There's been plenty of times I have downed a survivor who came off the hook after I was evaded and just happened upon that same survivor again because they looped back. That's not tunneling regardless of what accusation are always thrown.
As a killer this would be harder to judge when someone has DS active, but it would sometimes reward killers who did not tunnel and still protect survivors who were tunneled. I don't know all the killers well enough to know what distance would be optimal, but I recognize that it couldn't be tied to terror radius due to perks that change those distances.
-
I'm guessing you tbagged at ever pallet drop? Clicked your flashlight every chance you got? Could be it wasn't you at all and it was the game before, but you caught the punishment. Crappy situation and not fun for either side.
-
It was there earlier this morning, so I'm guessing no.
-
This. This happens all the time....wish I was lying. This was not a SWF group (or at least didn't seem to be communicating). That's the only reason I did as well as I did. Notice the rank 20 has full purple perks. Assuming he's a ex-red rank too and just been away a while.
-
And to your killas too. T bagging just because you vaulted a window or dropped a pallet is no reason to ask to be tunneled and camped. Yet... happens all the time.
-
Now I play mid-rank mostly as a killer, but I don't think a lot of survivors understand their own roles in "camping" and "tunneling". Frequently, I've seen another survivor lurking near the hook as I hooked or as I turn to leave I see another survivor running in for the save already. That's not camping...that's looking for the other survivor I know is there. If he can't lead me away from the hook, I assume he's still there. This happens all the time.
Last night, playing Trapper, I had a flashlight aimed at my head in the first 20 seconds of the game. I had 1 trap set up. I hooked the survivor. Got body blocked by that same survivor with BT as I tried to go after the rescuer. He escaped, healed and came back with the flashlight. I dropped him, hooked him and did short patrols. I tunneled him when he was unhooked, left him on the ground for a while, then hooked him and he died. They lost because of his bad play but threw a tantrum in post game chat that I camped, tunneled, and was the worst killer ever. It warmed my heart to know that they were so upset with the outcome. Couple of games later I got called a great killer and told the game was a lot of fun. Wonder which one it is? Am I sh*t or great? Nothing about my play style changed between the two games. The survivors played very differently though.
