Guys, I am 100% sure that the pick rate of the map dependent builds like scratched mirror Myers dropped through the floor after the recent change. Not being able to choose an indoor map completely demotivates from playing creative builds. I really liked how before you could actually make a killer scary (map offerings + perks like the old Knockout that made survivors truly oblivious and lost about what the hell is going on). Now all that's left is grind gring gring for a win… :(

Good. Scratched mirror myers has always been a boring playstyle for lazy players who can't bother engaging in any sort of chase to get their hits and instead rely on mindless stealth, wallhacks, and the lack of possible coordination between soloq survs. If that's what you're looking for, go play a singleplayer game so you can live it out without ruining the experience of others

That's not just you noticing, unfortunately this is a common pattern I've noticed amongst some of the newer Survivor-biased posters on these forums. It's just Us versus Them by another name, "Buffs and fixes for me but not for thee."

You say "survivor-biased" as though you're neutral :/

    1. Then refer back to 2 and 12. Simple.
    2. We have and you’re wrong respectfully. Refer back to point 4. Easy..which will also take you back to point 2 and 12.
    3. Tell me you don’t play Houndmaster without telling you don’t play her.
    4. He’s also a lot smaller and harder to use than weskers grab, so it’s fair. We’ve been over this.
    5. It's 8 seconds, literally where are you getting 1 second from?”
    6. This just isn’t true. Refer back to 6. When you’re done with 6 in a trial refer back to, 1,2 and 12.

    9. There’s nothing wrong with power vaults. If there were Houndmaster would be beyond S tier better than nurse.. let’s be so for real. You’re just proving you need practice against this killer or that you struggle to loop her and her dog. It’s okay. I’m here to help. Refer back to my list for a reference when you need it.

10.You can fake the window to have snug vault over pallets and windows to waste more time and buy you more distance. Your takes on “fair” are outlandish so I am moving on. Refer back to point 2, 3 and 12.

    11. Literally said at the top “All the ways to avoid not only dog grabs BUT additional hits to keep you in chase longer against her.” We are moving very quickly I know, it’s okay. Keep up.

    12. Refer to point 9 here. ^ HA!!!! We finally agree on something! Redirects should exist.

    13. I’m confused, is your camera man broken? Can you not turn it to face the dog real quick? If you can’t. Fire your camera man. Hire a new one. Refer back to points, 1,2,3, 12 or use dead hard but I believe you declined, however the option is still there, yet another resource.

You’re missing the point. She’s barely b tier because of all her bugs. Vault snug over a loop or redirect? 50% of the time I will be at 3.5 ms. Sound fair?

Go to use dog for chase? If snug touches any surface at all. He poofs away. Gone. Power on reset. Survivor gone at the next loop. Then I have to catch up. Sounds fair?

Pull strength bugged aka No pull strength unless YOU choose 120fps. Game runs on 60 fps…Ontop of no longer pulling back to Houndmaster. Sounds fair

Dog gets stuck constantly on walls, debris, and elevation? No power for 20+ seconds. Tell me, is that fair?

I spent half the match trying to get him to go to certain locations because the power is as limited or broken as pinheads gateway power…

You’re all about being “fair” advocate fixes for these bugs. Then I’ll drop the topic on buffs or adjustments. That sounds fair to me. :)

"Tell me you don’t play Houndmaster without telling you don’t play her."

I do play houndmaster, making assumptions doesn't make your argument look any better

"He’s also a lot smaller and harder to use than weskers grab, so it’s fair. We’ve been over this."

No we haven't lol. He's smaller visually than wesker, ok? Literally what difference does that make? The hitbox is still bigger. Harder to use than wesker? So you admit it's an issue of skill, not the game, also one which you just made up? Literally grasping at straws

"'It's 8 seconds, literally where are you getting 1 second from?' This just isn’t true. Refer back to 6. When you’re done with 6 in a trial refer back to, 1,2 and 12."

4.6 movement speed * 8 seconds is 44.8 meters, literally just basic math, what are you doing trying to say an objective fact is "just not true"?

"There’s nothing wrong with power vaults. If there were Houndmaster would be beyond S tier better than nurse.. let’s be so for real. You’re just proving you need practice against this killer or that you struggle to loop her and her dog. It’s okay. I’m here to help. Refer back to my list for a reference when you need it."

Things can be problematic without making a killer OP lol, literally the most basic knowledge in the dbd community, and you're making your lack of it my problem. Only thing being proven here is that you don't know what you're talking about since you're acting like things are only problematic if they're OP

"You can fake the window to have snug vault over pallets and windows to waste more time and buy you more distance."

Ok, but again, the houndmaster player can just aim, noticing a common issue here…

"Literally said at the top “All the ways to avoid not only dog grabs BUT additional hits to keep you in chase longer against her.” We are moving very quickly I know, it’s okay. Keep up."

Sorry for not reading a part of your comment that had nothing to do with the current conversation I guess?

"I’m confused, is your camera man broken? Can you not turn it to face the dog real quick? If you can’t. Fire your camera man. Hire a new one. Refer back to points, 1,2,3, 12 or use dead hard but I believe you declined, however the option is still there, yet another resource."

I'm not denying that looking behind you in chase is helpful, but it's not gonna stop you from getting hit so long as the houndmaster player can aim, again, noticing a theme here

"Dog gets stuck constantly on walls, debris, and elevation? No power for 20+ seconds. Tell me, is that fair?"

He gets stuck sometimes, but for 20+ seconds? That literally almost never happens, that and everything else you're saying, just blowing the effect her bugs have on her strength way out of proportion as an excuse to request buffs for a character that doesn't deserve it because you can't bother to aim

You can say that about like 7 killers now.

And, giving killers a new power historucally never worked.

You can say that about like 7 killers, according to who exactly?

Giving killers a new poer historically never worked, also according to who?

you've contributed nothing meaningful to this thread

you're just annoyed at a killer and want to see them nerfed with no valid reason or the slightest idea of a proper change just "idk, delete/rework"

houndmaster is an underwhelming killer and the survivors have a lot more to do against her than she can do against them and on top of that she's a buggy mess so you can't even properly gauge her power level cuz she hasn't been fully functional since her release yet you're complaining like she's blight.

I have contributed about as much or more than people who can't admit that houndmaster is poorly designed, saying that she needs a new power is contribution whether you like it or not, and I've given valid reason for why, it's not my problem if you refuse to acknowledge that, and I'm not obliged to come up with an entire new power for her just because I recognize that she needs one, seriously, just drop it

Houndmaster is low-mid A tier according to everyone that knows what they're talking about because she's literally objectively better than wesker in almost every way, just look at the stats, and she's not nearly buggy enough to change that. Killers can be problematic without being S tier btw, so how are you gonna say I've contributed nothing meaningful to this thread after making a comment like that implying killers can't be complained about unless they're blight? Crazy

Let me break it down for you. Again. While I did make a formalized list, I still broke it down. Hope this helps.

Countering The HoundMaster is ALL about not getting grabbed by the dog to begin with. All the ways to avoid not only dog grabs but additional hits to keep you in chase longer against her.

    1. The most obvious. Use a pallet.
    2. Dodge the Dog. (This can be done in most cases) Faking the dog out is a huge factor in this
    3. Use obstacles, corners, walls, chairs, barrels, small debris to your advantage. Snugs Ai is still a work in progress. He doesn't go around obstacles as well as he should. Use this to your advantage.
    4. The Dog is NOT Hitscan because of that please go back to numbers 3 and 2.
    5. Survivors can release the dog off of you. Its a 1 second animation.
    6. The dog currently doesn't pull the survivor back to the houndmaster anymore giving you more time to get free.
    7. On 60 FPS the dogs pull strength is capped. Therefore it does nothing as intended. Another advantage if you play on 60FPS.
    8. The Perk Overcome houndmasters weakness use it!
    9. Deadhard is houndmasters weakness! Use it! You can dead snug. Therefore no grab.
    10. If you refer back to number 2, you can even get the dog to jump over stuff. If you do. Congrats. W. You made extra distance and now snug is on cooldown. (The time it takes for him to get back and go on cooldown. Even more if they miss a redirect. Fun fact. Most houndmasters DO miss redirects. They are a bit tricker to get, which is why most don't use the WaterSkin addon I believe its called)
    11. This is a killer you want to prerun against. The more distance the better and the easier to deal with snug.
    12. Reiterating another point here, snug weakness is tight corner and walls. Use that. One sharp left after the whistle, you are good to go, OR sharp right. Doesn't matter. It'll look like a slight U Turn, just don't turn into the dog.
    13. CAMERA is EVERYTHING when you hear that whistle. LOOK BACK!

Hope this helps…like @SoGo based off your responses, I doubt it, but you have the knowledge now. If you still don't get it. Go watch "How to counter houndmaster videos" This killer is barely B tier especially with all her terrible game breaking bugs she has right now.

    1. Can't be done after pallet is already dropped either in a previous chase or because she hasn't pulled up power yet
    2. Doesn't work if houndmaster knows how to aim, have already been over this
    3. Snug's AI is plenty viable at going around basic obstacles, regardless it's not consistent whatsoever that you'll be able to go around enough obstacles in time before she's already redirected snug back onto you
    4. Doesn't matter because the hitbox is twice the size of wesker's, have already been over this as well
    5. It's 8 seconds, literally where are you getting 1 second from?
    6. 8 seconds gives you enough time to reach the surv so long as they're within literally 44.8m of walking distance, be serious
    7. Same as above
    8. I haven't tested it but I seriously doubt overcome works on snug grabs
    9. True but maybe I don't wanna have to use dead hard just to counter a mechanic that shouldn't exist in the first place? (power vaults)
    10. Idk what you're referring to by saying survs can get snug to "jump over stuff." Also your point about houndmasters missing redirects is meaningless, just because houndmaster players are bad doesn't mean it's a fair killer
    11. Literally has nothing to do with the question of what you can do to avoid getting m1d after getting caught by snug
    12. Doesn't matter since redirect exists, not like redirect shouldn't exist, but power vaults shouldn't
    13. Same as above

Thinking houndmaster is barely B tier is quite literally on you btw. How about I go watch "how to counter houndmaster" videos and you stop blaming your inability to aim on the game. She's at least A tier, not objective but not debatable whatsoever, there's no reason to think otherwise unless you can't aim with her

  • You can say that, but I know you are

  • We can agree to disagree in the sense of not talking about it anymore but you are objectively wrong lol

I made a list. You're just bypassing it. I tried to get feedback from you on how to make her a better killer. You had…..no useful feedback.

No you didn't? Where's the list of things you can do to avoid getting hit after getting snatched by snug besides stunning

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966830#Comment_3966830

I will agree to disagree on this one. Especially as a P100 Houndmaster. I have seen it all. I could be a valid experience for you and that's fine but I see plenty of other creative ways survivors get around this.

Y'think you would've mentioned any of them by now

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

Sure you’re of course, you don’t work for BHVR but don’t expect anyone or the team to take anything you say seriously since there is no feedback to give them to use.

Devs: “hey - what’s wrong with this killer? What’s up?”

You: Nerf them to 0.90 vault speed like in the PTB or just delete their power for a new one”

Devs “Woah! Okay…what new power would you find more enjoyable or fun?”

    You: “Idk”

Devs: “okay, well…get back to us when you do! Take your time! NEXT!”

    You: “😑”

Im not even trying to be silly or sarcastic…this is why feedback is so important because it opens doors for new change, opportunities, ideas and solutions for a better experience which at the end of the day is good for you, good for me, and great for DBD!

So I encourage you to think on it before just saying “idk or nerf, or delete or change”

Saying that a killer needs a new power and why is feedback enough whether you like it or not, frankly, get over it

  • So long as you're not by an undropped pallet (which in the situation we're talking about you're definitely not) it's a hit 90% of the time

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966752#Comment_3966752

“Factually incorrect since snug's hitbox is over double the size of wesker's”

What size is Weskers hitbox versus the dog? Just so I know factually.

Even if the dog 🐕 has LOS you dodge him. Fake him out. It’s rather simple. Turn camera, see where dog is head, take 2 steps to the left or right, do a fancy spin it doesn’t matter.. honestly the fancy spin works the best….also there is an unnecessary amount of clutter in this game. You can use literally anything to help you against snug.

    Wesker's surv hitbox is 30cm

You cannot consistently dodge the dog so long as the houndmaster player can aim

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966750#Comment_3966750

Delete the power entirely… and change but no feedback or thoughts on to what. Just nerf nerf, delete, change…..idk….

My feedback is that she needs an entirely new power, I'm not obliged to give any more feedback than that

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966717#Comment_3966717

“And if the pallet is already dropped”

    A. Then wait on the other side of the pallet to see 1) what the killer will do or 2) what the dog is doing.

    B. If you haven’t made it to the pallet yet that has been dropped, you need to fake the dog out IF she decides to have snug enter a chase.

“Then she sends the dog over the pallet in less than 1.5s, and if you get away, she can just redirect to get you”

This is more than enough time to react to Snug and dodge him.

“Unless you break los twice within like 2 seconds, which isn't realistically consistent at all, you get hit.“

Now I see why you’re getting bullied by snug. You’re treating him like nurse… when you should be treating him like blight/Billy. Hug walls and tight corners. He will likely get stuck due to his Ai pathing. No need to lose LOS constantly. The killer can’t move anyways. Any object, barrel, tree, will do just fine.

From what you are telling me, you are looping houndmaster all wrong.

"This is more than enough time to react to Snug and dodge him."

Factually incorrect since snug's hitbox is over double the size of wesker's

"Now I see why you’re getting bullied by snug. You’re treating him like nurse… when you should be treating him like blight/Billy. Hug walls and tight corners. He will likely get stuck due to his Ai pathing. No need to lose LOS constantly. The killer can’t move anyways. Any object, barrel, tree, will do just fine."

What are you even talking about? Hugging walls and tight corners won't do anything of the dog has LOS on you since they can just dash towards you, what I'm describing also applies to billy and even moreso blight, you break LOS since they have a power that goes in a mostly straight line

  • @SoGo said:

"...untile they fix her OP cooldown and vault"

"not making any effort to make her more fair to play against" which implies she is unfair to play against.

You did not say those exact things I said you complained about, but the implications are there.

OP =/= no skill, unfair =/= "too hard" if there's no possible counterplay to be too hard. Regardless, even though I didn't say it until now, I would say that the reincarnation of chucky's manual scamper doesn't take skill to use, believe it or not, and that should be changed, and doing so wouldn't give survivors complete control over the power

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966609#Comment_3966609

How would you fix her then? You’re not giving feedback, just disagreeing to everything.

Earlier you said 0.90 vault time for snug? What else?

You mentioned redirects? You’re not fond of them from what I can see. Should we…..remove the redirect power?

She should get an entirely different power. She's literally just wesker but worse designed

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966606#Comment_3966606

Dog grabs doesn’t equal injury. Camp the pallet. Take 2 steps to the left of dog jumps over. You have plenty of time to react. Oh redirecting? 2 steps to the right? Leave the loop? Vault the pallet? Houndmaster can’t move while redirecting.

And if the pallet is already dropped, or if she waits for you to drop the pallet before sending the dog? Then she sends the dog over the pallet in less than 1.5s, and if you get away, she can just redirect to get you. Unless you break los twice within like 2 seconds, which isn't realistically consistent at all, you get hit.

    Someone mentioned me, I see.

    Anyway...

I am seeing a lot of "she requires no skill to play" and "she is too hard to play against" from you, and I'm not sure if you want every killer to be Blight in terms of difficulty and Springtrap in terms of counterability, but I disagree.

It's fine to have easier to play killers, and it's fine to have killers whose power doesn't allow survivors to have complete control over/doesn't rely on survivor mistakes purely.

I quite literally never said either of those things, what are you talking about?

  • @SoGo said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966361#Comment_3966361

    I suggested 2 buffs.

One, that is objectively supposed to be there anyway (fixing and buffing Snug's pulling mechanic so he doesn't get dragged to pallets a mile away).

The other is buffing a mostly underwhelming power effect that mostly only denies Dead Hard.

Aside that, it's QOL, bug fixes, and add-on reworks.

Yes, so buffs, to an already problematic character

  • @SoGo said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966366#Comment_3966366

She can only get you in a Scamper like way if you stand still at the pallet camping it. Move a bit and Snug goes to China instead.

    The redirect mechanic exists

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966366#Comment_3966366

You think it should have stayed at 0.9? So no power then? Do you have an issue with Springtrap throwing is axe over a pallet? Huntress? Pyramid head? Trickster? Houndmaster gives you over a half of a second to move out of the way.

None of those killers can redirect their shots after going over a pallet, houndmaster's can, and so could chucky after doing manual scamper

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966361#Comment_3966361

The dogs vault time was nerfed in patch 8.7.0 Steady Pulse.. You now have about 3 business days to move out of the way. My suggested change was from 0.45 to 0.55.

    What are you suggesting? (Feedback)

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/K6GY9FYKUN4Y/image.png

It should've never been buffed from 0.9s in the first place, it plays nearly identical to manual scamper so long as you have the slightest bit of aim

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966359#Comment_3966359

Then you are more than welcome to post those concerns in that thread, by all means. That's why its there. For anyone who wants to disagree or agree. However, again, stay on topic please. This thread is JUST about her current issues and bugs. I think I have made that pretty clear.

If the Dev's end up asking "Hey! What's up with Houndmaster?" I have a link ready to explain all of that. That seems to be missing your understanding for some reason.

You can keep saying that this post is only about her current bugs all you want, the fact is that you're quoting a post asking for her to be buffed as a reference, if the post was really meant to exclusively be about houndmaster's bugs you would've quoted a post going over all her bugs instead of suggested balance changes, but that's not what you did.

  • @SoGo said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3942978#Comment_3942978

Aside from add-ons and Houndsense buffs, all of these are a more QOL kind of changes rather than just buffs.

Don't try to sugar coat it, they are objectively buffs, buffs to an already horribly designed killer without addressing her ridiculously short cooldown for vault time

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3966348#Comment_3966348

That link was a reference for the devs IF they needed information. The OG topic that you're in is about her critical bugs. So again, stay on topic please.

And that reference is poor for not making any effort to make her fair to go against, asking me to stick to a topic that you didn't want to stick to is still crazy btw

  • @MechWarrior3 said:

The post that you're quoting is about buffs and addon changes, are you not staying on topic for your own post?😭

  • Don't wanna see any buffs to this worse designed wesker clone until they fix her op cooldown and vault

  • @Daniel_Silva04 said:

"The Ghoul can no longer perform a Leap Vault with their first Kagune Leap token." This would basically kill him. If you couldn't use the vault on the first Leap, the survivor would just wait for you to cancel the power, and you'd never be able to use the vault.

Skill issue, get hits without using the vault

I'm not sure why you're so opposed to the idea that every killer should be made to be decent but obviously we're getting no where.

I quite literally explained why in the comment you're quoting

  • @thrawn3054 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3963366#Comment_3963366

We seem to be misunderstanding one another so I'll try to be more clear. I want every killer to feel good to play. For them to have a power level that makes them viable against most groups of average survivors. Where there's basically no killer below current B tier. As I pointed out with Oni, you can have strong killers that aren't mechanically difficulty or have an extremely complex power to use effectively. There's room for the difficult killers but they shouldn't be the only viable option.

Buffing weak killers up to B tier serves no purpose besides allowing them to do better vs inexperienced survivors, you just want to pubstomp. And buffing them any higher just gives killer players results they don't deserve. It's a bad idea no matter how you put it. If you want playing a character to "feel good," grow up and play a character that takes skill or play a single player game

  • @Mr_K said:

Most tweaks given to Chucky was because survivors complained about it.

Scamper never felt like a free hit to me but people cried it was. Most of the time survivors made it around before I could get under the pallet.

And why did survivors complain about it? Because it took zero skill to do

  • @thrawn3054 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3963332#Comment_3963332

If they're better than you they'll achieve better results. Not every strong killer needs to have a massively complicated/mechanically complex power. People should be able to pickup and do well with a killer without needing to memorize a 300 page guide and drop hundreds of hours into that killer. I'm not saying there should be Nurse level of power on a killer with Wraith difficulty. There's a happy medium to be had.

"There's no reason we can't have killers that are reasonably easy to learn and be decently strong." This either means you want killers that are easy to be as good as those that aren't, which you seem to be denying, or that you want weak killers to be better but not better enough to be as strong as Nurse, so not better enough to have any chance vs competent survivors of the same skill level. So do you only want weaker killer buffs to give inexperienced or uncoordinated survivors a harder time, what's the point in that?

Also no killer requires or ever has required what you're saying, don't be overdramatic

Not really. There's no reason we can't have killers that are reasonably easy to learn and be decently strong. Oni is an example of this imo. He's strong but not very hard to pickup. Obviously it can be hard to achieve that kind of balance but it should be the goal for every killer imo.

Why should you be able to achieve the same results as someone who's better than you?

Great, well then why do we have Ghoul that is easy to play yes dominates most matches, Blight is harder to play but nothing crazy difficult same goes for Nurse, once you play few matches with them you can do pretty much fine.

Ghould and Blight could both be changed to be made more skillful while remaining strong, same can't be said for most mid/weak killers, and nurse is already hard to play vs survs that actually know what they're doing

  • While clown and knight changes specifically are questionable, most weak/mid killers need to be buff/nerfed because of their low skill requirement

Absolutely disagree. Pig's ambush has very high skill expressions when used in particular loops, sadly everyone plays Pig as M1 killer holding W whole game completely ignoring part of her power.

Literally the least skill expressive dash power in the whole game

Then tell me what's so problematic about her gameplay that she needs a rework

She's been in the game for 8 years, regarded as a really weak killer who has been nerfed

Abusable RBTs, stealth, least skillful dash power in the game. Not sure what her having been in the game for 8 years have to do with anything? She's a weak killer and should stay that way until the devs rework her

We really gotta complain about pig now? Why would she need a rework

i quite literally said why she would need a rework in the comment you're quoting, because she's unhealthy and has little skill expression

  • Pig needs a rework, not just some number buffs, she's one of the unhealthiest and least skillful killers in the game and it somehow still has yet to be addressed throughout all her updates

    1. No i did not ask for "pub stomping to be easier" i just want undetectable to be usable on xeno, so that u can actually surprise survivors on gens without the turrets beeping like an alarm clock anytime the killer is in a 20 meter range?
    2. The fact that xeno cant be a stealth killer even with 4 undetectable perks is just a bad design choice from the devs.
    3. Removing the shorter cooldown while in the tunnel would be a bad idea bc, being an m1 killer for 30-ish sec is just misserable, ESSPECIALLY since again u cant use undetectable to surprise a survivor meaning they can just pre run/pre drop everything and there would be nothing u can do as xeno.
    4. Also remember knight pre final rework, with the long af cooldown? now imagine that with the xeno
    5. impossible? more like harder not impossibe, all u need to do is just put them further from each other not that complicated, now the survivors would need to actually use their brain where they put them and not just brainlessly put 2 turrets besides each other.
    6. ALSO u clearly didnt notice since u didnt even mentioned it but just incase " it shouldnt give that beeping sound when she is in range while undetectable" could u explain to me how its a skill issue on my part, is it a skill issue that i walked near a gen that they are working on and i got detected WHILE UNDETECTABLE?????
    1. Asking for undetectable to be usable on xeno quite literally is asking pub stomping to be easier
    2. No it isn't, the fact that there's 4 undetectable perks in existence is what's a bad design choice from the devs
    3. Then don't get knocked out of power, it's that simple
    4. Knight's cooldown wasn't avoidable, xeno's cooldown without double turrets in play is avoidable, not the same
    5. It would very much be impossible because you could simply break the 2nd turrets while you're immune
    6. Because good players not looking to pubstomp don't crutch on undetectable in the first place
  • @AdamZ said:

"Relying on survs lack of info from turrets or otherwise is a skill issue" what? where did that come from?

Lack of info? Oh please, 80% of survivors already knows that u need to put 2 turrets besides each other and xeno is basicly cooked.

As for emergency helmet being reverted, im fine with that, but removing the faster cooldown on ur power while in a tunnel is just a bad idea.

and w the changes i mentioned survivors can still double turret but they would need to spread it out not literally right besides each other, and xeno would need to use her tail to keep being in crawler mode, since she cant reach the second turret with just an m1, and that would be more skill full than just an m1. So if she does lose her power that would indeed be a skill isuue.

AND if she does break every turrets on the way the survivor still gains distance, so they can still reach a jungle gym etc.

It came from you complaining about turrets detecting you while undetectable, a complete non issue if you're good in chase and up against good players that can always track you anyways, you're basically asking for pub stomping to be easier.

With your suggested change double turrets would be nerfed enough to make guaranteeing knocking xeno out of power impossible. Removing faster power recovery in tunnels isn't a bad idea just because you said so, you provided no explanation. If you still need faster power recovery in tunnels while double turrets can't guarantee knocking you out of power that's an objective skill issue

  • Relying on survs lack of info from turrets or otherwise is a skill issue

Double turrets should be nerfed but to compensate emergency helmet partial basekit should be reverted and faster power recovery in tunnels should be removed, because without double turrets there's objectively no reason to lose your power other than making a mistake

Well that 10% was what made unbound useful now it barely works most of the time. This was also a barely used perk because of how weak it was. The Killer being able to catch up to the survivors with Haste perks was a great balance. There was no need to Nerf it at all. We want Perks to be used to add verity or we will be back at the old DBD where Killers just run Gen Defense and Survivors Just Run Dead hard and DS and other annoying perks every game.

A perk that doesn't take any extra skill to activate shouldn't be useful most of the time, rest of your reply is just "this is the case because I said so"

  • Unbound (and most other chase perks) activated with no special effort required, and unbound's 10% in particular was very obnoxious, no thanks
