I made a thread suggesting this awhile back myself. Currently at present regression rates it takes about 320 seconds to completely regress a gen at 99%. I initially asked for a 1:1 regression/progression system. So it would only take 80 seconds to completely regress a gen. That might be a bit to strong but i think a 2:1 regression level would be good. That would mean it would take 160 seconds to regress a 99% gen. Not instant but but if the survivor decide to abandon a gen it will take away a significant chunk of progression.great idea im glad someone sees from my point of view 2:1 regression would actually make many other killers viable as stopping gen progress would be possible.

Meaning shape shifting is not instant and you need a living survivor not on the hook.
After the killer takes on the form of a survivor he starts to walk around the map pretending to be one of them.
Damaging empty generators
When the killer finds an empty generator he can work it for some time to reduce its progress.
Working on generators with surviors
When he finds another survivor working on a gen there could be options.
If the killer would immediately approach the survivor from behind for an interrupt action this would give him away.
So the killer would start working on the generator. To not give away that it is a killer there would be an alternative action to not damage the generator but actually fixing it.
Then after a few seconds of pretending the killer could get up to try an interrupt.
This would keep survivors constantly suspicious of other teammates approaching and slow the game down because it might be safer to quickly get away from the generator.
Poisoning survivors instead of healing them
Killers could pretend to heal wounded survivors and instead poisoning them causing them to loose one health state after a certain amount of time. Similar to Borrowed time mechanic.
When survivors run away they could still try to prevent the poison to trigger by healing themselves.
If a killer finds two survivor healing each other they could poison one survivor while "helping" to heal and then attack and chase the other survivor.
In the shape shifted form the killer would use medkits, toolboxes, flash lights, keys etc to attack survivors.
Depending on addons the "weapons" would have different effects.
Using pallets against survivors
The killer could trigger pallets before survivors reach them.
When survivors are near pallets they would get stunned.Fixing hooks
The killer could repair damaged hooks.
Triggering hex totems
The killer could intentionally trigger hex totems with bad effects for the survivors by finding them on the map.
**A challenge for this to work **
If the whole survivor team is on voice communication there might be less of a surprise.
In the best case scenario there could be some kind of confusion when the killer and another survivor looking exactly the same are next to each other.

the buffs are as follows
Trapper: 5 bear traps will spawn armed in 5 pallet locations. When triggered survivor is put into the injured state. Bear traps will despawn when power endsWraith: temporarily turn invisible scratch marks persist 5 seconds longer and blood is easier to see when uncloaked power ends regardless of time.
Hillbilly: gain 50% movement speed for 30 seconds terror radius is increased by 50% all survivors suffer from the exposed status for 30 seconds. If you hit an obstacle suffer a minus 5% speed penalty.
Nurse: gains the ability to blink 3 times before the power ends. Suffers from no fatigue after each blink.
Doctor: terror radius increased by 50% every time you hit a survivor they are put into a madness state. Madness wears off after power ends. Each survivor suffers from a random affliction of madness.
Hag: 1 dull totem will suddenly become a hex totem and a random hex will appear until it is destroyed or the power ends
Huntress: gains 5 throwing knives power ends when all 5 are thrown power automatically ends. Each knife has a 10% chance of using a addon effect.
Clown: gain 4 throwable tonic 10% chance for a addon affect. Power ends immediately after they are all thrown.
Spirit: you are able to project an image of yourself near the closest survivor then they're aura is revealed to you for 30 seconds and if they are hit they suffer from the hemorrhage effect.
Shape: all survivors suffer from the exposed effect. Your obsession gains a 100% speed boost for 10 seconds but you have the ability to kill them.
Nightmare: all survivors are put into the dream state action speeds are decreased by 50% you cannot attack them until they wake up. Power automatically ends after all survivors wake up.
Pig: gain 1 special trap. Any survivor who is fitted with it has 30 seconds until it blows. (Basically you have at most 30 seconds to downa survivor then bear trap them not too sure about this one)
Cannibal: all survivors suffer from the exposed status for 60 seconds you gain 3% speed every second in a chase but lose all of it if you crash. Power ends if you crash.
Survivor
If you cloak yourself as a survivor you will appear as an existing player for 2 minutes.
When working on a generator the generator will decrease by 50% more than a survivor working on it would increase. Failing skill checks will prematurely end the power and stun you for 2 seconds.
You can drop 2 pallets prematurely to get rid of obstacles in later chases
When healing you will put the survivor into the dying state or reduce their health in the dying state by 50%
If you sneak up on a survivor you can backstab which will put a healthy survivor into the injured state and uncloak you when uncloaked you gain 10% movement speed for 5 seconds.
When uncloaked you have 110% movement speed and a lunge of 1.5 meters.
There is a 30 second cooldown before you are able to use a power again.Perks

They've been nerfed so much that they aren't exactly powerful anymore. Killers getting boring for me because it's too easy

I didnt propose the offerings lol, this isn't my thread, and tbh, i don't really like the offering ideas as they seem to strong for either side, all i was saying is it would be op for killers too, not just survivors as they arent that op anymore

i can see your someone who has watched the movie no one ever remembers the truck drivers epic wrench skills overall i like it but instead of lower terror radius after hook for the first one what about a movement speed buff temporarily instead? as for the wrench i love it but also how about instead of charge time you get 1% movement speed every second spent in a chase but and your chainsaw duration is until you hit something but when you do hit something you have a tantrum for every second you spent in the chase overall good ideas!

this wouldn't work though because on ps4 survivors can just hold don the ps4 button go to game session then send party invites to all current survivors this would make it even more broken

Here’s something : Where’s the punishment for Survivors camping and tunneling Gens? Why don’t they get punished for not screwing around, and just popping a squat and M1 on a Gen? Not only that what about penalties for the survivor main jerks who once the gate is open they still hang around the map teabagging the killer or the worst point is when they spend about 10 minutes teabagging at the exits and when you hit they disappear. Or what about when survivor mains decide to run around th map making all the noise possible to get the killere attention when they are the only ones left and hatch is available. The hatch teabagging and standoff as well.
yeah before they even think about touching survivors in terms of buffs they need to fix these issues and fix gen times because right now killers are still not the power role
