So add a feature to where killers can open the gate after 3 gens get done. It's not fair that survs can suicide on hook because they don't like etc, etc. But what about all the yellow and brown rank killers that get thrown in with red and purple bully squads? There only options are to play the bully simulator until they finally decide to finish the last gens and leave, or DC and get penalized for it...
or just afk and let them finish the gens...

I'll wait why you name another economic system that puts profits above people, and continues to destroy thousands of lives, and wreck the ecosystem of our Earth for things that don't matter and get thrown away back into the same place they pulled it from.
I don't think they intended MoM to be so powerful but who knows for certain.
No capitalism = no game
why would devs waste their time in a game if they got no money off of it...
-
I'd DC out of pure horror if I saw a killer like that
-
These are really nice, I really liked the trapper one, and the swf one will keep some trash killers from constantly complaining about swfs
-
boo hoo, im trash at the game and blame it on the devs for allowing people to play with friends ;(

There would be some major problems with console-PC crossplay.
1. PC hackers
2. Horrendous console frame-rate
3. Hits would be more difficult to register. The devs say they're trying to fix hitboxes, but implementing cross-play would do the exact opposite.
4. Nurse and Huntress players on PC would have beyond a significant advantage against those on console.
5. Mouse sensitivity and controller sensitivity work differently. PC players can make very precise movements with their mouse (i.e. Huntress flick shots). Console players can't do this near as well (though it ks still possible) because of the analog stick dead-zone.
- hackers on PC isn't something to worry about. I've never seen one
- ---
- Idk if that's true, not going to talk about it
- Killers won't be affected because they won't face each other. If you were a good nurse or huntress on console, you'd also be a good one in PC
- again, killers won't verse each other.

People as in two people ?
There was a slew of pc hack threads not even a freaking weak ago. Let alone there is proof of hackers in pc games not only on dbd but many other online games.
So herp Derp face me all you want I am allowed my opinion of pc cross over sorry a bunch of you got butt hurt over it.
Not looking for a debate unless one of you geniuses can provide proof there are no hackers ?
One google, forum and YouTube search says there are so if you want my proof there you go
You keep defending your point for what? Everyone is telling you that you will not face a hacker if cross play comes to the game. I'm starting to think that you aren't scared of hackers, you're just scared of going against people that play with mice and keyboards for no reason..

See, that kinda gets to me as a PC player. Why can they opt of of crossplay if we can't opt out of SFW games? Let me have my PC advantage if I must suffer those trolls.
because no killer would chose to play with swf's people won't be able to play the game with friends. Just get better, man.

It should not matter if I want to use the feature or not.
What's bs is getting crap from some low count rando that I've never talked to before telling me I need to use a feature the devs already stated is an option.
You act like i'm attacking you. Sad.

Was it now ? Can you prove there are no hackers on pc ?
jeez, when crossplay comes out try it for yourself, I guarantee you can play like 3 thousand matches and find 0 hackers. And if you play 100,000 matches and find a hacker, don't cry about it. try having fun with it.

Pc has hackers so I do not super duper disagree.
Seeing how convoluted the report feature is I really do not want to spend 15 mins to report a hacker when I could just opt out of playing with them.
I get it the master race wants us to be forced to play with them but no thanks I would rather play with other console owners or have a check box as to what systems I want to choose to play with.
Pc bad no pc.
God... hackers?? I've played for like 700 hours and haven't seen 1 single hacker. It's not really a problem

So what if you do? You'll move on and those Blendettes will derank later. You're not losing anything, you can only gain more in this system compared to now. This argument is pretty much "But I don't want anyone to benefit from my actions but me". Its a team based game, that's not how it should work. Besides if you're REALLY doing that much, your well below your rank and should climb easy.
Im talking about bloodpoint rewards. I wouldn't want to share my Blood Points with 3 survivors that got 6k bloodpoints while I got like 25k

Yeah, I'll facecamp a survivor pointing at me too. I think it's fun to put somebody in their place, don't get me wrong, but as I said, it's the context that matters to me. Like if the survivor points at me, and then waves to follow just because they're trying to show me something or some crap, I'm not going to immediately tunnel and camp them. However, if they're just teabagging and pointing at every pallet as I said before, I will be more likely to do it.
I'd like to know which part you disagreed with specifically.
You said pointing and crouching is rude or toxic, that's the part I disagree with. People need to change their mentalities while playing a game

We could rate all the survivors as a team, that way the person on the hook does not get screwed from a rank or BP perspective and it encourages team play. Just my suggestion, haven't thought it out much.
I disagree, what if I repair 4 gens, run the killer around for 20 minutes and save everyone from the hook while my other 3 teammates are blendettes that crouch in the corner of the map with urban evasion?

Because he wants to teabag, flashlight spam and do all those other things he considers "fun". But to hell with killers having fun too.
Salty killer main likes to put their grief in every single thing related to the game. I want to do chases, yes, how does that affect the killer's fun?

Do you... like this game? This is a very strange perspective on the main objective that you're supposed to be doing in order to win. Why would you not work on your main objective when the killer is ceding all map control to you by camping?
Yeah I play the game. If I wanted to hold m1 and hit skillchecks I would be playing some stupid puzzle game.

yeah I guess you are right, its the internet though, who the hell cares about how many 'ands' I put in a sentence..
-
@Huff said:
It really all depends on the context. Examples:
Somebody crouching up and down isn't toxic. Somebody pointing isn't toxic. Now, somebody that will throw down a pallet in front of a killer, and then immediately start just teabagging and pointing, that's a little toxic. I won't kill somebody for just doing a little "1-2" double crouch in front of me and then running away, but as I said it's situational. And no, before some douche comes and replies with something like "if it bugs you then stop playing blah blah," that's not what I'm saying. I just think it needs to be said that while something like using a flashlight in general isn't toxic really, something more specific like following the killer around and just clicking it a bunch to try and annoy them, is, in my opinion.
It's really a subjective thing, like how some people might think something is moral or immoral. Or, another concept I would compare it to is rudeness (since that's partially what toxicity is, kind of being bad-mannered or BM). To one person, releasing a loud belch in say, a library, might seem like no big deal, but I would still argue that a large amount of people still perceive it to be rude. As with toxicity, some people might not think something is toxic while others will, but I think most people will agree on certain things being toxic, such as intentionally sandbagging your team mates to get them killed, farming your team mates off hook, spamming audio (flashlights, rushed actions, etc.) Pretty much mostly things that are obviously not the way to play the game, and are mostly done by people who are just trying to be scummy.
I disagree, I play both killer and surv, I point at killers even if they are destroying me, and when I catch a survivor pointing at me and doing all thatshit I just face camp them, no matter how the game is going. Not because I get mad, but because I find it fun, especially in the end game chat
-
@SurviveByDaylight said:

Yeah just hook him. Why are you toying with people’s time? I’d get mad too. You’re lucky he didn’t DC 😂 that’s what I would have done. If you’re not going to hook me because you want to milk some extra points well, I’m out. That’s not fun for me. People want their time to be respected. Just do your job as killer and kill them. Toying around with them or milking points is only going to backfire. Just get in and get out.
It's called having fun in a game. Whenever a killer does it with me I laugh at it.

You realize that that is a ridiculous statement, right. My being the "luckiest person" would imply that the vast majority of killers facecamp, which simply isn't true. The vast majority do not facecamp, as it is an extremely poor strategy against decent survivors. I don't understand why you feel the need to exaggerate. I have probably faced 6 or 7 Bubba's in a row today, which is unusual. Not one of them facecamped, and it's Bubba's that make up the biggest majority of facecampers.
Cool story man 👍️ keep it up, maybe write a book

If it's trash then Killers don't need to equip Iron Grasp
Iron Grasp doesn't counter Boil Over man. All boil over does is make the killer shake a little bit more when carrying you and making him not see hooks next to him. The perk is useless. + Iron grasp can be comboed with agitation in a basement build, or just used against survivors that like throwing theirselves in front of the killer when they are carrying a player
-
Ehh, if they annoy you with gen rushing and you are a bubba, you know what you gotta do.

I very rarely see facecampers in a game, so having to do gens to get back at a face-camper is fine. In fact it makes me more determined to get them done. I can't imagine that it is a lot of fun for the face-camper either, unless people come to them to get killed. Do the gens. Don't reward them for facecamping. If everyone does that then the face-camper will realize it's a bad strategy and stop facecamping. How do you not get that? The only reason they face-camp is because it works.
Then you must be the luckiest person I've ever met, I get face campers every few matches because the matchmaking puts me against rank 15 potatoes who start face camping with 3 gens remaining.
-
@illusion said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1297302#Comment_1297302
What does liking doing gens have to do with anything? They still have to be done. Let me guess, you are someone who ignores gens and leaves it up to others to do.
If he camps, you can do them without any fear of being interrupted, and you know where he is. He will not get much in the way of xp or BP ifor hooking a single survivor once. It is a terrible strategy, unless players, like yourself, suicide in, to make a rescue, because you don't want to do gens.
Stop assuming, dumbass, I do as much gens as any other, I also bring prove thyself in most of my matches. All I'm saying is that if there's a match where all I do are gens, it's no fun. Do you take pleasure on winning or in having a fun match?
-
Spirit, all she has to do is stop moving and survivors will go towards her, if they run away all she has to do is phase walk.. there is no fun playing against her.

Gens have to get done. That is the game. If you aren't going to do them, why play?
The point was valid. If someone is being camped, ignore the camp and do gens. Don't reward the killer by throwing yourself at them.
Yes, but when the killer camps all you have to do is gens... does any survivor actually like doing gens?

Ah yes, I tunneled because someone did an unsafe unhook in front of me without Borrowed Time.
I slugged because I literally saw another survivor the moment I downed the survivor I was chasing.
I'm soooooooo toxic, guess my opinion is invalid.
You want to know what an actually slugging game is like? It looks like this:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/3H0YLENBNER1/381210-20200524101258-1-copy.png
This Deathslinger never hooked anyone until one person died from Bleedout (You can tell because everyone is almost dead from bleedout). Slugging because you saw someone else and decided to chase them to exert pressure on multiple survivors isn't toxic, it's just a smart play.
im not really going to believe you, sorry

Because that toxicity needs to continuously be called out, otherwise we get people like these who breed toxicity on their streams (The person he is talking about is me btw)
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/Q3E61BM0WK97/2020-05-17-22-22-12-copy.png
His chat was talking about how he is their king and how I was the one being toxic in this situation, do you honestly think that's okay?
There will be sore losers, sure, but we shouldn't allow people to create a negative environment by losing in a GAME.
you probably slugged and tunneled, so your opinion is invaild
