I rather see a distortion user who doesn't get pushed off gens with BBQ than a survivor hopping in a locker every 30 seconds or crouched behind a bush. Immersed players will be mostly useless with or without the perk. That being said if I'm in the game I'm playing like it's a team regardless of the selfish players I encounter. When you play like that most times everyone makes it out.

I hear a lot of you say he has terrible mobility and no map pressure at all.
can you explain what this means. i dont have him unlocked so i never use him.
Clown can navigate the map faster by throwing his yellow bottles, but it takes precious seconds to reload and wait for the gas to work. He doesn't have speed to cross the map as fast as killers like Billy, Nurse, Wesker, and Spirit. These killers have what is considered mobility and because of this they can easily pressure gens by staying in constant chase and pushing survivors off gens. On larger maps with big gen spreads he struggles just like most m1 killers.

It wouldn't be a DBD event if players weren't tryharding like their lives depended on it. Been getting absolutely destroyed on both sides. Doesn't help that there are seperate queues for the events now, either.
I live in the UK where splitting the queues makes DBD's already less than perfect match making even worse. The game's also been sending me to far flug servers where I'm getting 400ms ping, so that's not great either.
Don't forget that Xbox players aren't even part of the normal queues. So that's thousands of players off crossplay.

Best part of this mod is the "no perk" side, that's why i'm loving it
Watching survivors running clueless around because they can't use WoO is priceless
This mod should be used by the Dev to realize how much perks impact on the game, more than anything else
Survivors are running clueless because they can't see, not because of lack of Windows. You spawn on a map and can't tell if you're north or south without running into walls. Very one-sided, so have fun while it lasts.

The developers of of Dead by Daylight (and nearly every other popular game) get a lot of hate because they seemingly don't listen to their community. But we here on the forums, those on social media, etc are not the majority. Developers have many avenues that they look to for design changes.
I play another game that had a similar insistence that "nobody wants this" and "Everybody hates this" and it just wasn't true. The basic story (with animals as example characters) is that they were planning on adding new characters to the game, one being a cat, one being a snake. the other being a fish. However, they only had resources to do one at the current time. Well, there was lots of people asking for the cat first, lots of people asking for the fish first. Lots of people asking for the snake. So, the developers did an official poll, linking it everywhere they could. At the end of the poll, the cat won, with the snake coming in 2nd. So they announced they'd work on the cat first. Immediately the forums and all social media were flooded by the fish fans screaming bloody murder that NOBODY wants cats, EVERYBODY wants fish. Where were the cat lovers in all this? Playing the game, quietly in anticipation of cats being added. Even the snakes fans were mostly quiet as they were like "Okay, we're next after the cats." Today, all three "animals" are in the game, but the fish fans didn't stop screaming that they were the majority until they got what they wanted.
The same thing goes for Dead by Daylight. When I don't like something, I make my opinion known. Granted, i am one of those few trying to be positive too, but even for me the majority of the time I come to these forums its' to report a bug or such.
A lot of these posts prove your point. Everyone has an opinion and though many people agree with it, not everyone agrees with it. The devs are receiving a lot of a feedback from various sources including their own data. To say that they don't care after all of the balance changes to both survivor and killer is ridiculous. Also, to believe that your opinion or even a hundred opinions should result in change that you specifically want to see is not realistic. Yes, you should continue to give feedback as it can be helpful. Maybe they implement it and maybe they don't but they are not obligated to make ANY of the changes we suggest. It's their game at the end of the day. We just play it.

I rarely see Fog offerings used and wasn't aware this was an issue, but probably not, unless I missed it in the patch notes.

There are so many offerings that should just be trimmed from the game / condensed into fewer offerings, for survivor you have
6 luck offerings
16 blood point offerings
2 hatch offerings
2 basement offerings
2 coin offerings
4 fog offerings
1 oak offering
2 ward offerings
3 shroud offerings
20 map offerings
58 offerings... its just too much
to cull it down a little bit here are some changes I think would be resonable
Condense bp offerings from 16 to 7
How?
Bp offerings 50/75/100% offerings all just become 100% in that category, instantly 8 offerings are gone, 13% of the offerings gone in one change
25% solo offering becomes 25% all offering, simple changes and 9 total offerings condensed
Luck offering, condense solo and group luck offering, into 1 offering, only the jar of salty lips, not like any of the other ones are used so just condense it all into the one thats used, 5 offerings gone total of 14 offerings condensed
Basement offerings, survivor really just shouldn't have these, they don't ever get used by either side but I don't think survivors really should have control over it even if it did matter. 16 total offerings dealt with
Coin offerings, just make all coins purple, at this point if someone is becoming a chest goblin for a few games because of a tome give them an easier time at it, 17 total offerings dealt with.
And just for kicks remove the slightly/moderately more fog addons. No one really uses the fog addons so just leave the less and the most and call it a day. 19 offerings dealt with and the survivor bloodwebs are a lot cleaner.
Really good suggestions. I'd be happy with. They just need to trim off the fat on all these offerings. It's out of control. Although, I would like to see them rework luck or remove it from the game. And what you mentioned was just offerings. That doesn't include all these dang on add ons. It's exhausting just thinking about.

Tunneling to me is when you ignore all opportunities to chase or hook other survivors to exclusively take someone out of the game.
I'll preface this to say I think it is fine end game. You should try to secure a kill by chasing the one on death hook. Nothing else to do.
I've seen these instances that I would say is tunneling.
Camping first hook and then trying to down right off hook the same survivor EVEN when the other survivor(s) are injured and/or downed.
Pretending to patrol and chase but the minute the unhook happens dropping chase to return to hook just to chase an unhooked survivor.
Actively wasting time looking for the just unhooked survivor while ignoring all others injured or on gens, etc.
Is this fine to do? Yes. Do what you want.
Does this feel good to the person you're doing it to? Switch places and find out.
-
This isn't a killer vs survivor contest so there is NO scoreboard. Get over yourself.
-
If I die having being chased and caught I'm fine with it. If I die on first hook having been camped with 4-5 gens up I've wasted my time. The nerfs to tunneling and camping are a long time in coming and rightly deserved, brought on by an unintended playstyle that rewarded a killer for not playing the game with sportsmanship.
And before 'camping is a legit strat' yes it was, so was jumping in a locker with a friend and flashlighting a killer over and over again so they can't get the grab while the other two survivors do gens. It works, but was it fair to the other player? Was it what the devs intended? No.
Killers are meant to chase, find, hunt, hook and use their powers. This is what they are rewarded for, not standing next to the hook. In fact they lost points for hook camping but the loss was so minuscule no one cared.
Sure it generates pressure. Who wouldn't get pressure from guarding someone from playing the game? But maybe now people playing killer will get better in other areas of chase and pressure instead of learning absolutely nothing standing at the hook.
On the bright side (for killers) Now that camping has been addressed and will no longer boost killerates as much (returning to the unhook is still very much alive) the devs may take a look at chase and gen stopping elements, including map balance to help make the game more fair.
Also, I'm sure camping slugs will take off now, as people will always find a way to stand around doing nothing.

I always get that nostalgic feeling whenever I think about when Spirit had her old Prayer Beads Bracelet add-on.
If you don’t know what it did basically it removed Spirit’s phasing sound completely and basically guaranteed grabs, and since Spirit back in the day felt collision on survivors even if she was phasing made it 100x easier to get a grab.
I get it was busted as hell but jumpscaring survivors back in the day was so evil yet fun and I was all in for it haha.
Okay that brings back fond memories of gen tapping when the spirit phased so you wouldn't be the one getting grabbed off a gen. One of the most stressful add ons in the game but also fun.
My nostalgic moment are probably the insta-heal plays for a survivor being slugged or tunneled. Saved quite a few in my day. Old syringe RIP.
Also saboing trapper traps and pre-saboing hooks then dropping every one while the killer is carrying a survivor.
-
Gen speeds have already been addressed by nerfing toolboxes, nerfing teamwork sans Prove Thyself and adding 50 seconds overall gen completion. Additionally, attempts to assist with faster killer chases and actions were added including less distance for survivors getting hit, faster tier II & III bloodlust, faster pallet breaks and pick ups. Now, do these changes make the difference to more casual killers or new killers? Probably not. Devs can't just hand you the win, you'll have to get better at ending chases quicker or spreading pressure. E.G. hit and run. If gen speeds were nerfed any more tunneling would be so affective I dare say survivor killrates would be at 70-80% since it is still the most affective way to win. Nerfs to healing has also helped slow gens a bit since teams need to find each other/meet up if they use their one self heal which also assists in downs. I think the game is in good spot gen wise. Will the average killer still experience games where gens pop extremely fast? Sure. Will survivors experience games where killers snowball in the first few mins? Also true.

It takes a lot of veterans who are already burned out from the last 6 years off it as well, people acting like this game will never end are delusional, BHVR said 4 years ago they "hoped" to keep it going at least five more years and we're coming to that deadline where eventually the higher power in that company will decide to no longer update it and keep it where it stands , the game will more than likely still be playable but I predict the 8th anniversary is gonna be the last where they announce it's ending, and by then they will have some real competition or announce a DBD 2 (which I doubt will happen)
Agreed. It has to come to an end some time. Will this patch as is, end the game? Probably not. Will a lot of players stop playing the game or play significantly less? I think so. I know I already have. Many dedicated streamers have moved on or interspersed playing DBD with other games. And even when they play DBD they frequently complain they aren't having fun and note they are only playing it because it keeps their numbers up.
Devs are already trying to prepare for the future, and probably hope this new game will catch on before Dbd dies out. The event they keep tying into DBD is meant to drag its player base over to Meet Your Maker, as is the changes to the main page of the forums. Marketing wise, that makes sense.
In my opinion the only glue holding the game together is events and new releases/updates. It keeps the drama up and the curious coming back but that will only work for so long.
-
I stopped using DH long ago but I still think it was overnerfed. A person is really only going to have the perk once or twice a match. I think it should only be gone after activation by a hit, but it should have a cooldown so you can't spam it in chase.

- Still don’t understand why it’s the end of the world for survivors mains to add few seconds to healing ? Especially when you have perks to deal with that.
- Still don’t understand why people say soloQ will suffer ? I play mostly soloQ, just bring a medkit…and coordinate with your team. Yes sometimes you will get bad teamates, that’s life it’s the same with every PVP games.
- Still don’t understand why survivors mains are crying about circle of healing ? My favorite build is 4 boons and I am very happy that this perk is not holding the other boon perks anymore, we can finally hope for more changes in the future and more boons perks. Also it is still perfectly viable lmao ? It seems the only survivors complaining about this change were the ones using only CoH for themselves as a selfcare which is not the idea behind boons at all.
- Now for killers I find hilarious that Otz is complaining about the call of brine nerf. This perk alone is S tier and the idea is to shake up the meta, I hope we see a more chase oriented meta, or a devour / pentimento comeback.
- Very excited to play Demo, Twins, Wraith, Sadako again without the infinite fast healing or no animation dead hards.
Even if this last for 2 weeks, I will be glad.
So you play Solo q to complete the rift. Good for you.
I won't reiterate what people have said, but the 'just bring a medkit' argument is weak. How well did shatter hope perform for getting rid of boons? I mean killers could have just brought this perk to counter CoH if it was in every match? Hmm? No, they felt the same way survivors do. You shouldn't have to equip a perk or bring a medkit just because you can't make headway without it.
Also, less you forget, Franklins is a thing. Just toss on cut coin, Franklins and some other anti-healing perks on a strong killer and you have yourself a slaughterfest. If EVERY survivor HAS to bring a medkit franklins will be one of the most played perks around. Or maybe not, you do get that 1 heal in so it's about as threatening as a key at this point.
And I don't know where most killer mains have been but top tier survivors won't get affected at much by this change to healing. By dead hard, sure, but then I suspect 99ing sprintburst will be the next killer headache. Good survivors don't need to heal, they just need to loop which they can do. They equip adrenaline and stay injured to bate chases. The only survivor really hampered by this nerf are low to mid-tier survivors who won't do a gen until they are safely healed because they are not good at running and have no one to take a hit in chase to stop bloodlust.
As for CoH you don't speak for the devs so saying it was not meant to heal yourself, which it allowed you to do, is very presumptuous. If it was not meant to heal you then it would have been that way from the beginning. Why it is being nerfed is because it was very affective, especially with Swfs. It is also a very popular perk which the devs have said they are trying to shake up the meta. But what did the devs expect when they nerfed selfcare into the grave? Resurgence?
Anyway, change is upon us whether we like it or not. Now that the free E is out of the way-which I stopped using after the first nerf--devs can concentrate on also taking out the free speedboost that is bloodlust.
-
If y'all can lump the antagonizing survivor posts into one large complaint reel instead of 147 that would be great. Everybody saying the same thing like it changes anything.
You have entitled, whining, and complaining players on both sides. Playing killer or survivor does not make you a unicorn. They are just people.
-
-Happy that they listen to player feedback for the most part and try to make healthy changes to the game.
-made the bloodweb less grindy in cost
-are introducing more cosmetics to other survivors/killlers in upcoming releases and not just the favored few
-try their best to be diversified and inclusive
-Eruption nerf
-Hud changes

Depends on my mood but there are two builds I switch between right now. My all seeing build: Alert, Kindred, Bond, and Open-Handed.
I feel completely blind w/o that build to be honest.
Next I play my more well- rounded build with Alert, Windows, Prove, and Desperate Measures. This way I'm good on gens, in chase, and I'm quick on healing and unhooking.
Honestly, alert is slept on with how much killers are kicking gens these days.

Firstly survivors complain about camping and tunneling and get basekit perks for it. Then about slugging and make the devs consider a basekit Unbreakable. Then gen regression (which the killer earns by downing and hooking survivors), and a lot of good gen regression perks get nerfed. Now the new complaints are about 3 genning. What do you want the killer to do lol? Not use any strategy what so ever and mindless chase random survivors for hooks and lose? The excuse is "30 min games aren't fun" but guess what, you aren't entitled to 10 min matches, or the killer making the match more fun and easy for you. And the worst part is, the 3 gen rage quits will be rewarded by some killer nerfs, again.
P.S Yes it's an "us vs. them" post. Anything else you notice other than that Sherlock?
First killers complain about DS and DH hard because they help extend chases. They get nerfed, as does distance when getting hit. Cooldown is buffed for successful attacks. Pallets break faster, pick up animations are also faster. Killers complain about .0001 of players that locker flashlight save and they get nerfed. Then killers complain about CoH and Self care and healing gets nerfed (CoH) twice and is still being called out for needing more nerfs. Medkits are also said to be a problem. So no healing and looping is bad. Got it. Then they complain about genrushing so gens get an extra 50 seconds of gen time with the addition of buffs (overcharge and old Eruption) and additional gen slow downs (CoB). So looping is bad, doing gens is bad, healing is bad, and flashlight saving is bad. What do you want survivors to do? Oh yeah, tap a gen being regressed with CoB and Overcharge for 30 mins against a killer given babysitting AI. Oh boy!
P.S. Yes it's an "us vs. them" post. Anything else you notice other than that Sherlock?
P.S. P.S. I'm not arguing the fairness or unfairness of any of these changes, just pointing out the double standard.

@RhodosGuard said:
I dont know how else to phrase it.
Looking at different forums and different opinions, I get the feeling that Survivors are generally a unhealthy element in the way the game is discussed.
Like, recently I read "Why dont knight or Skull Merchant commit to every chase when I wanna bait them into running after me for 3 minutes and instead only protect their 3gen?"
And they dont get why. I recently came back and decided to play mostly knight.
I dont go for meta, I play with his base perks and the Executioner Perk that makes me undetectable when damaging gens.
And here is your answer: because at a certain level "committing to chases" is just not fun?
They are always the same, running from pallette to pallette and being at the mercy of survs choosing how much time they get to add to the chase.
In the meantime at the other end of the map 3 people are "Proving themselves" using their "Potential Energy" to pop gens. And when I stop committing to chases I am just "camping a 3gen" and when I committ to chases I get pallette blinded, stunned and then teabagged when I inevitably lose.
Which gets to the core of the problem:
Toxic playstyles reproduce toxic playstyles.
When 90% of Killers have to depend on Survivors ######### up to even have a bit of hope to win, then it's not too unexpected that they use toxic "unfair" playstyles because they know that this guarantees them at least a limit amount of success. IT just feels like BHVR mostly tries to stomp out toxic Killer playstyles (anti camping, anti tunneling, more and more immensely usefull survivor perks( off topic who the ######### thought Blastmines where a fun idea? A free killer stun that I cant predict and will always run into as long as I at least somewhat depend on Gen damage?))
So why is the base gameplay loop not finally addressed? It places most of the power in the hands of the survivors, unless you decide to learn one of the killers specifically designed to handle these issues, but when you play them you also get flamed for playing the meta and therefor being bad at the game.
I really dont get why, when already significantly catered too, Survivors still cry about it, when Killers feel like they have to play dirty to have even some fun.
The way they have addressed looping and nerfed it is very subtle in some instances. Every map they have released for the past two years has included loops with clutter and objects near walls to make looping less efficient. There is no way to tally the number of hits killers have gotten when survivors become hung up on wall edges, fake wall ends, clutter, rocks, and other junk around previously tight loops but I'm willing to bet it is a lot. Going around these objects also cost survivors precious seconds of time, time the killer is gaining with bloodlust. This inevitably results in shorter chases unless they are at really strong connecting tiles. Strong tiles have also been nerfed on many of the maps or made very confusing to follow or have shortened walls. A mistake by a survivor will get them killed if they run these tiles incorrectly. While a mistake by a killer is 50/50 reward or loss of time. And yes there are still some map spawns with extremely unfair tile line ups, just like there are some spawns with unfair deadzones e.g. worthless hills and piles of junk between unsafe tiles.
So don't think just because devs haven't announced all these changes that they aren't being made.
The reason three genning is not fun is because you could simply put a bot on a three gen. Kick gen and walk back and forth between the three waiting for as survivor to come close. A survivor taps a gen and run away and see their progress eaten up by Overcharge/call of brine. How is this fun? Being looped by a survivor is also not fun but as you gain experience and learn to mindgame survivors and zone them into areas where you have the advantage. Most new killers just mindlessly follow survivors and break pallets or try to bloodlust them. You have to learn to think ahead like forcing a survivor onto a side of a pallet that would make them have to go a long way to get to the next loop, or changing the direction of a loop to deny survivors a window/vault. These things come with time and experience, things you won't gain by passing back and forth in front of a gen.
Also, remember that every cheeky 'win' means you are paired with smarter, and more experienced survivors who will more than likely break your three gen and still tbag you out of the exit gate after a frustrating 30 mins of gameplay.
-
I'm really hoping that devs do one week of showing killers who they are playing against so you can find out that the team you crushed was a SWF and the team that crushed you were four solos. Then maybe y'all can drop the excuse that you lost because the team was SWF and simply be truthful that you made mistakes or could have played better.
-
Keep telling yourself that. No one wants to play 4 gen regression gen-humping Gen Merchant, who refuses to chase unless you are within the radius of her babysitting drones. I've watched really good players go against this lady with a 3 gen from the start and draw the game out for 45mins. The only reason they won is because the killer wasn't very good in chase. But the fact that a skill-less killer can draw a game out to 45 mins IS a skill issue I guess. Personally, I'm not entertaining any games with three genning Gen Merchant. If they want to win so bad. Have at it. The devs were told during PTB that this is the way she would be played and released her anyway. Honestly, this game is getting old fast.
-
Hag was always unpopular so it only makes sense that with new, faster and more loop controlling killers coming out she would lose even more favor.
Couple issues with hag that make her less desirable to play:
She is slow
She is short
Her traps can be disarmed by flashlights
usually people give up or DC against her because she is boring to play against-iron grasp to basement, MYC, (Franklins if a flashlight is in lobby) return to hook, rinse and repeat
-
If CoH killed hit and run strats, then good. I haven't played a game where a killer stopped chasing me around the map no matter how short or long I run them enough to heal. To my knowledge that was a popular strat with wraith but that's about it. Most players that boon also stupidly keep putting the boon in the same place so its a sure fire way to know where they'll be. Can't tell you how many people are hit off boons or killed because they rather boon than make a save or do a gen in my solo games. SWF/comp teams don't even use CoH that much as they are usually comfortable to run injured with DH and you can call out meeting spots for a heal or they run the whole game hurt for adrenaline in the end. Unless it is more popular to keep healing in other regions other than NA where I play. And if you are encountering it EVERY game you can get some benefit out of shattered hope or nurses.
-
Was distortion but it is getting a lot of use these days. With the abundance of camping killers and faster recovery on successful hits Desperate Measures comes in clutch for an unhook and also getting my teammates healed faster off hook. Also, shadowstep. Most boons nowadays are just CoH but Nurses is making a comeback so it has come in clutch.
-
Played a really awful game against a Sadako on RPD yesterday. 30 mins of her jumping to TVs to give you more condemn bars, healing caused condemned bars, and she only slugged and stayed coming back to main entrance with her call of Brine info, defending her three gen. Grabbing a tape meant you had to go across the map through, guess what, main entrance to the other side. On the way you probably picked up more condemned stacks and ran right into her. Unwinnable. I've made a thread complaining about this gen spread as well as the two at main house in Haddonfield and nothing has been addressed for why this is that way. Meanwhile, the devs have moved gens and totem spawns secretly on EVERY other map. I'm tired of this game and I hope RPD goes the way of Hawkins Lab.

Can't kick it if the survivor is halfway across the map doing it every 5 seconds
No difference then from jumping in and out of lockers or vaulting over and over. Same noise notification. No point.

At this point I say nerf Dead Hard as a survivor main. Actually disable it for a week and lets see what the new second chance excuse becomes. And also disable bloodlust while you're at it. No one gets a 'free' boost.
-
Having a slowdown is necessary on most killers because most killers have not mastered the art of killing or the killer they use as much as say an Umbra. Tunneling/Camping is not necessary in my opinion it is optional for those who cannot keep pressure by downing survivors.

"Dwight consistently gets cosmectics and he isn't even top three and so does Mikeala, Nea, and Kate. None of them top three."
I don't know if they are in the top three but they would be near the top of most played characters.
Yeah they could be in top this year because we haven't had top 3 statistics for a while now and last time it was Feng, Meg, and Claudette. Claudette fell from 1st to 3rd probably because of her p3 skin nerf but also probably because they have been neglecting her or giving her the most hideous cos there is. Stats before that had Feng as 3rd so what turned it around? Could it be cosmetics? If so, in theory the devs could spread the love to someone else by investing in fun and creative cosmetics instead of the trash heap every once and a while cos they throw at the less played characters.
I haven't forgotten they did a call for artists to work on cos for them, so hopefully the community will have better ideas than the devs.

If you always lose at survivor and always win at killer it possibly means :
- You are likely at low MMR
- You are extremely skilled at killer
- You don't understand how to loop efficiently/pressure the right gens OR you are playing with people who don't know how to loop/pressure gens
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3331345#Comment_3331345
ZT doesn't have the same effect for a killer. You don't need to find a pallet to get a hit but survivors need to find them to avoid a hit.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3331289#Comment_3331289
Do you think it's good for the game that a survivor can run from pallet to pallet to pallet and throw pallets to the point where the killer has to break 6-8 pallets?
That seems unreasonable to me.
Seeing pallets and vaults is greatly underestimated as you can cut off routes before the survivor even gets to them. Also pressure them into zones where there are no pallets, and abandon chase when someone is clearly at a really strong tile. If you are following someone through 6-8 pallets you are following them for too long. It'd be better to try and find someone else out of position. ZT isn't used because slowdown perks are favored over chase perks and you also have to think ahead instead of just following a survivor from tile to tile.
-
With absolutely no statistical data to back me up I'm surprised not to see Zanshin Tactics, Grim Embrace, and Predator as I almost never see these perks used.
Survivor seems about right but I haven't seen Better Together in ions either.
-
@DBDVulture said:
Windows of Opportunity is sitting around a 31% usage rate (https://nightlight.gg/perks). Can we give this perk the "iron will" treatment?
This perk makes you better in a chase because it tells you where all the pallets are. Exhaustion perks do the same thing.
Therefore is it not logical to make it so that this perk doesn't work if you are exhausted?
Then try using Zanshin tactics and maybe you'll be better in chase because you know where all the pallets, vaults, and breakable walls are. Fair=Fair.

the developers said that the game with friends
playing with friends does not = using third party programs
Logically it does. You think two to four friends were going to play together in silence? By releasing it on console there was already built in party potential. There is nothing they can do by allowing one, comes with the other. And also what about spouses or siblings that live together and play on separate consoles or computers. Should they play in absolute silence as not to have an unfair advantage? As much it may peeve you off its part of the game and it is not going anywhere.

Devs have finally come out and said that SWF was always intended. Since when was playing with friends justifiable? Since the inception of the game.

How does that help against Crossplay players?
I didn't say it did. I was answering something proposed by another player. But if you have to ask you can still play with crossplay off if you have the patience. Personally, I think names should be hidden from killers period until the game begins. All the info you need is what the survivors are carrying.

I'm talking about the combo of these 3 perks together. It is hard to see but it is hellish when it actually works. Basically, since you're using DS, when you go down after using either your Off the Record or DH, you reset your Deep Wound, meaning you can use the other endurance that you saved, giving you 3 second chances.
And no, DS is not thrash, it is still a really good perk, just not as broken as Off the Record and Dead Hard.
The way in which you described it is used I have not yet seen but then again I don't watch or play like I used to. We'll just agree to disagree on DS being good or not.

2k hours between Steam and Xbox (more xbox). But I'd say about 4k hours just watching streams. I use to have them loaded up to support my favorite streamers while at work. I did that for about 4 years. I barely watch Twitch now. Currently on break because the game is just miserable, but I have ...
5k in the Sims 4 (used to participate in model comps)
200hrs Grounded (current game)
400hrs The Long Dark
390 hrs Farm Together
1.5khrs State of Decay 2

I think she means how killers can see names and click on profiles pre-match. Potential to dodge the lobby if profiles are not hidden.

Killer
STBFL all by itself with some good ol' camping action thrown in.
A Bubba with Agi and Iron Grasp.
Overcharge & CoB
Nowhere to Hide/Call of Brine or Overcharge (300 kick challenge)
Survivor
Urban and Selfish Care
Deliverance all by itself (fools rush in) Before built in BT it was Farmville
Plunderers and Appraisal with a coin offering ( 3V1)

Anything with Off the Record. The perk is broken. I have seen some people use OTR + DH + DS and it is just miserable to play against.
Other than that Sprint Burst + Prove Thyself players also piss me off since all they do is gens.
Only way to use DH after getting hit from off the record is to fully mend. The devs broke the synergy a long time ago, and DS is trash now so I'd love to see it as killer. 3 seconds and one time use of absolutely nothing.

Feng is one of the most popular characters, and due to her lore she is the perfect survivor to get cosplays of others. BHVR would be dumb if they didnt release skins often for the most popular characters lol whether we like it or not, there are characters that most players dont care about so why would BHVR waste time and resources in something most won't buy? when they can make another cosmetic for the same character and keep earning? Thats just how business works.
Yes, but so is Claudette and she barely got anything last year. I think maybe 2 outfits and a Halloween shirt and some recolors. Huntress was outpaced by Trickster the most and least played killers. Dwight consistently gets cosmectics and he isn't even top three and so does Mikeala, Nea, and Kate. None of them top three.
The cosplay argument is mute at this point. They've featured a ton of these survivors for Attack on Titans, if that isn't cosplay what is? Felix got a cosplay outfit for Resident Evil, Blight now too. Dwight got an outfit from Pubg. All the collections feature themes like Greek Gods, beach, and Christmas. There really is no excuse to keep any of the other characters in line with their lore.

Just because you've forced yourself to cope with your character being forgotten about multiple times doesn't mean everybody else is petty for not wanting to. They shouldn't have to, its not fair that multiple characters go long periods of time with 0 love
Then people have to hear other people constantly use the "bUt FeNg gEnErAtEs MoRe ThAtS WhY" excuse - No ish she sells more cosmetics, she's one of the golden children that gets the most effort dedicated to her cosmetics meanwhile others either get nothing at all or they get the scraps when they do
A light shines in the darkness of Silent Hill.
The Silent Hill Collection features new Outfits for Cheryl Mason and ... another Feng equal-attention cosplay instead of a PHead one... you know the iconic character responsible for Cheryl and Silent Hill even being in DBD?? Definitely not milking a golden child or anything, its just a coincidence right? At this point they should've just given her the wassup Ghostface mask cosplay too since apparently thats the justification they use to attach her to completely unrelated content for extra $
Its like making 25 lemonade stands but only giving cups to 5 of them and those 5 stands are the only ones not in a desert, then saying that the reason you only stand at those 5 spots is because the most people go to them....You gave them all of the cups and put it in the most accessible location possible, obviously people will invest more into that (The older free characters that get favored above others) instead of going to the desert (Purchasable characters like Jeff, Adam, Twins, Slinger etc. with limited options)
I laughed way too hard at this. You nailed it though. Its tomfoolery at this point that the devs sit at a table and go omg who could we include in this...and this...and this...and this... Feng.
-
I would agree except Claudette is the third used, formely most used character (okay because of previous blendette status) and she barely got anything close to what Meg and Feng got in 2022. Also, Dwight who isn't top three continues to get outfits (Cotes favorite). On the killer side, Huntress is the most played killer but I think Trickster, one of the least mained, received more outfits than her last year. I'm betting on the fact that someone in the department that makes cosmectics is a Feng Main or has a tendency to make kpop cutesy outfits that only fit her because of the background they built for her.
If the other survivors are not selling I think its more because the devs tend to release borning and uninspired cosmetics on them. Adam being a prime example. I certainly started using him more when he got rift cos. They neglected him for a year and a half almost. Release all the cos for Feng you want but dedicate a slice of the pie for some other players favorites.

Vittorio getting 2 release purples, actual green rarity cosmetics, recolours that do things, and now an event skin and most likely a tome + rift soon due to his lore relevance.
Meanwhile, Haddie Kaur:
I'm thinking they are holding off on Haddie Kaur because of player feedback. I came across a post on twitter from an Indian player who was upset that Haddie's dress, religion, and even the name of her parents were a mismash of different Indian cultures and was not well researched. Even the length of her hair they got wrong for her religious beliefs. So I'm thinking they are consulting with someone who is an expert in that area to make sure they don't re-offend any cultures. They would probably also need to gut her backstory and any planned outfits that incorporated her religion.

At least three of them were all playing on PC, they were all friends on Steam and they were all playing DbD. Now why would I assume at it was at least a three man SWF?
If I had been playing the Dredge, it might have been a tolerable match given the Dredge can teleport to scout generators but as the Knight? Forget it. Any Killer with poor mobility or map pressure is going to struggle on Midwich.
Did you know this before or after the match and giving up and why would it even matter? A solo team could manage to pop two gens fast. SWF is an advantage but knowing how to play the game is a bigger one. That is the problem with high MMR. I've had solo games where we all took hits for each other, took aggro, body blocked, took aggro from the knights guards etc without the benefits of comms. By your summary it sounds like you just had a rash of bad games and gave up then blamed it on SWF.
I don't player killer very often but when I do, I almost always lose two gens and sometimes very fast, but the advantage of a map like that is finding gens. If the survivors have a lot of time in the game they may be familiar with gen spawns there. But a lot of times survivors end up with a three gen because they have no idea where gens are relative to each other. That is still hard to track with SWF. Breaking that back wall by the bathroom allows for swift and sneaky entry to the top and bottom levels instead of using the stairs. You can also keep them off the piano room gen if it spawns there and wasn't done first. Once you get a hook, it really snowballs as there is no way a survivor can approach-especially upstairs- without being seen. Kill just one of the survivors and the odds switch in your favor. The exit doors are so close you can post up a guard and check the other one. Keep them injured and prolong the exit until you have a hook. If it was SWF they most likely will come back for their friend. The game isn't over until its over. You could have turned it around but not if you don't even try.
-
So you assumed they were a SWF because two gens popped very fast? Interesting. And Midwich is the LEAST survived map for survivors according to the devs.

I don't get the decision behind update too. Main had 2 very close gens together, so why not cut that distance in half? Everything ok in dev team? Did you not notice the map generally already preffered killers?
I'm hoping this was a 'mistake' that they'll come out and say that it was never meant to be that way and fix it. I have heard some people say the map is so small there is no where to put the gens far enough. Bull. How about not in the same room right next to each other for a start.
