  • For killers I think it may very well Mr. X / Tyrant / Nemesis - which I wouldn't mind.

Lets talk about Legendary Skins for killers:

Lisa Trevor ?? - The Blight perhaps

Salazar and his Right Guardian - The Twins maybe

Evil Jill aka Bird Woman - Legion maybe

Legendary Skins for Survivors ( so many) I would like:

    Excella Gionne

    Rebecca Chambers

who am i kidding - im such a fan of RE - i think ill buy buying EVERYTHING RE related in this game. lol

  • I recently had a match where a person was AFK - I downed the AFK person teammates healed - i hooked - they unhook - i re down- re hooked they saved. So thats it. I hooked everyone 2 times - i guess it was more now a farming game. I picked up the AFK went to various pallets- let people get some points like that. Then after it was near time that the game was over - picked up the afk and brought her to edge of the exit gates and team mates healed then i hit her out into the exit so they can escape LOL - ( we farmed pretty well) Everyone got over 25k points. except the afk who got 10k - how? LOL

So when people DC out of rage or someone is AFK i try to be friendly about the whole situation because i know it sucks. I usually for the most part let people do their thing and farm some points. Toxic Survivors - i might kill them. Its already unfair because of the DC. idk. Im very merciful. jejej

  • When I play survivor I usually tend to be mindful about the pallets. I will only do it If i can get a stun from the killer otherwise i don't bother using it. I save it for someone else. As a killer I have seen it all. Some are mindful - some just throw them down for the sake of throwing down the pallets. When I play doctor they usually pre - throw the pallet ( which is the smart thing to do against the doctor) :P Wasting pallets is annoying if you have that team mate who just uses them all up. lol

  • There was HOME SWEET HOME announced for the switch a while back. with a TBA date.

  • Here in California (central region) I have come across a variety of killers. Which is nice. No complaints here. Not to say there is not your occasional ONLY GHOST FACE, ONLY THE SHAPE, and ONLY LEATHERFACE killers from time to time. lol which is annoying. lol omg especially when THE SHAPE has those add on's that enable to kill healthy survivors lol im like i guess you dont want bloodpoints LOL. But hey doesn't happen alot.

  • Maybe they are waiting for it to be completely available everywhere.

  • Kindred and Open Hand - thank you very much.

  • I thought they would release the CHAPTER SPOT LIGHT today? To see whats in store? Or is that tomorrow?

  • I enjoy :

Clown, Doctor, Twins, and Freddy. No particular order.

Please shut down the Switch completely, not just standby mode. Wait a minute or two and then you can start the Switch again, it should solve the issue.

This works - I had the same problem last night.

I’m playing both Cuztom matches & SWFs and nobody else in my group experiences it. And it is with any Killer not just The Pig.

I did not experience any of this. Maybe a temp bug? How you playing now?

Playing on the Switch version and even when I successfully complete a Skill Check it kicks me off the Generator so I have to interact with it again. This is the same with any Skill Check so if I’m healing somebody I have to interact with them again. And worst of all makes it totally impossible for me to complete a Billy Box and get a RBT off my head. I’ve tried changing controllers and that hasn’t fixed it.

This is game breaking when the Killer is the PIG - anyone else can confirm this bug? If its all skill checks then everyone should realize it. Ill check for myself tonight after work.

yeah they fixed it along with the sounds. The video here shows that we can finally see again. And in this same match, the sounds of survivors screaming are no longer in my ear

    Nice- Thank you! Thanks BHVR!

  • This should be resolved - according to the NEW BUG PATCH FIX. Can someone please confirm this? I didn't see the SOUND issue addressed in the patch. Anyone care to confirm please?

Yes, the fog is terrible on the switch since the new update , really needs to be fixed , never was like this

Yup this is exactly how it is for me as a switch player. Can't see nothing. Game is unplayable this way. This is every map not just 1.

  • For me as well. Fog just look like triangles hovering all around the ground. Very hard to see. The sound effects are off as well. The sound it makes - seems like its happening right next to you. OP voted up.

    No sounds for:

    Survivor walking

Working on generator (except for skill check warning & completion sound)

Muffled sounds while being placed on hook.

    No survivor screams.

    Muffled killer heartbeat.

    No crow, grass sounds.

Switch - Map - the country one w/ saloon.

    No to very low sounds:

    Switch port /all maps

    No killer terror radius

No survivor sounds (including breathing and screams)

Sometimes I can hear the sounds very faintly bit usually I can't hear them at all

    Switch:

Sound is a bit bugged out.

I noticed on my end at least the Generators' sound are very low.

    Terror Radius as well.

I played on Gideon's map and the footsteps of all survivors including Myers ( Killer) was very loud.

not sure if each map has a distinct sound bug or what. But yeah please adjust the sounds. Thank you very! Game looks lovely with the new upgrades! :)

  • Very nice find - Although the way the new chapter has been described hardly fits Candyman. Candyman series did not shape nor create a new genre of horror. Its just another horror series. Not saying it may not be.

  • at the very end of it. The guy was talking about well time to get back to work on the other one.... then Mathew says oh can you tell us anything about it? Sure well.... *technical difficulties* end of stream. jejejej

  • Also they confirmed they are working on another new Killer. jejejej

I have to ask if anyone has had this problem. Here is an example of hatch campers and a situation I had. I put the killer on a chase for about almost 2 minutes and left a gen almost done. Instead of the other survivor finishing it she hid in a locker next to the gen so once I died she could jump in the hatch. I despise players like this who once the hatch spawns stop playing the game and just rub their scent and do all but scream "THIS IS MINE" and then go and hide in a locker until the entire team is dead. I mean i know and understand wanting to win but to stop playing and just wait for your team to die is a crappy move. It makes it even worst when you go to the results screen and see they did next to nothing to earn the right to escape. I know it really isnt about escaping and it is about getting blood points but it just stinks when people would rather camp the hatch then actually TRY AND GET OUT. I think the worst case was when there was 3 of us left and the 2 other players with me BOTH refused to leave the hatch hoping they would just be the last one left. Please other fellow survivors just because the hatch is there does not mean you should stop. Please keep playing and do not hurt your other fellow players chance of getting out, Sorry for the rant I guess.

I can relate - I absolutely dislike when survivor mates just wait for people to die or just hide through the game. If there is a CROW active OR if i do see a person just hiding only. I lure the killer to him/her to get them doing something. I won't be mean and NOT unhook them ill do it but hopefully that makes them do more than just hide and not do a thing.

I will be honest, I can’t use Bubba as well now since the Ruin change. But it’s brought me back to Freddy.

I do like the new Ruin, I just believe it needs to be removed from being a Hex or at least not activate until X amount of gens have been completed or time has passed.

Yes, it’s an insidious perk now, but too many times my Hex Totem spawns in the open or literally right behind a generator. This causes it to be destroyed without Survivors knowledge of it being Ruin just because it glows.

The regression is pretty cool because it takes away from having to kick generators all the time. But I don’t agree with it remaining a Hex. It’s not that strong of a perk to require being able to be destroyed from the game. Survivors can still knock out generators left and right regardless of the regression unless they just ignore the generators (which high level survivors don’t do especially in SWF).

Any input from people that aren’t going to complain and have decent play with new Ruin.

    Survivors or Killers input welcome.

So I for one have no complaints for this change. So here is my setup

    Hex Ruin

    Power Surge

Pop Goes the Weasel (combo with Power Surge)

    Unnerving Presence (increase terror radius)

This is for the Doctor Killer

I played about 5 games yesterday and I feel really no difference than your usual game. What i did was pressure the entire team. I wouldn't chase for long periods of time. I would get people off those gens - If i see a generator nearly done I chase everyone off and come back to it. Its a bit more work but I personally enjoy it. Assuming Hex is still running - If not of course I use Power Surge and Pop Goes the Weasel its a good combo when you are successful in hooking someone. 4th Perk can be a toss up i suppose I use the terror increase for Doctors Static Blast but you can use others. I use Discordance or Franklin Smith for laughs.

BTW im enjoying how the new doctor works! My opinion!

  • woot woot! Leatherface finally on the switch so Im assuming everything that comes along with it? Map etc?

  • Doesn't Bill say when he is being carried say "Why"?? Im pretty sure there are a few one words muttered out.

  • lol - Switch users will become experts avoiding Freddy and Leatherface killers.

I like the idea of Jurassic Park but I have a few notes:

The velociraptor hiss at the start of the trial wouldn't make it in.

Screech/Growl is neat but ultimately it's a bit weak, it really doesn't do much good for the killer. The chase is more like the actual ability and in all honesty while it'll look cool, it's almost a crossover of Hillbilly's chainsaw and Demogorgon's Lunge.

Group Hunting is a slightly stronger version of Discordance and a weaker version of Infectious Fright. Neither one of which I see in game often if at all, I feel like that's a good signifier for how Group Hunting will work out.

Prey Cannot Hide is interesting but ultimately not helpful, most survivors that know the game well, know that lockers aren't very helpful outside of locker jukes and Inner Strength. The former being during chases and the latter isn't used much. It's a bit specific in my opinion but maybe not. I also don't think an auditory que is necessary.

Leer is essentially just Infectious Fright. No offense.

I like the concept of Electrical Taser but having to take 5 hits for other survivors is a lot more than you think, it's the equivalent to being hooked twice and then injured, so maybe drop it down to 3 Tokens.

Habitat Knowledge is either too strong or overwhelmingly weak. MacMillan Estate, Autohaven Wreckers, Coldwind Farm, especially Backwater Swamp, and Red Forest all have trees out the wazoo. Meanwhile as Walker of the Fog said. Gideon Meat Plant, Lery's Memorial Institute, and Hawkin's Laboratory all lack trees.

Personally I don't see too much of an issue with Grant's Advice but I feel like you have to tone down the percent, speed increases are a lot faster than you might think. Try 4/5/6% instead.

I think overall, to sum it up, you should think of an alternative to his abilities. M1 is his basic lunge so consider dropping Screech/Growl and try to look at Hillbilly and Demogorgon and see how you can potentially make a different ability out of Charge. Velociraptor's perks as a whole need to be replaced to create more unique perks. If you can change how Habitat Knowledge works so that it works on every map you could have something interesting.

My advice? Look at Velociraptor and Alan Grant, like really look them over and think, what are these guys true redeeming qualities and how can I twist those into Dead By Daylight.

I'd suggest for Alan's redeeming qualities: Hardened Archeologist, Quick Thinking, and Knowledge Base

For Velociraptor: Instinctual Predator, Pack Mentality, and Speed Demon.

Very interesting. I had several thoughts when coming up with certain abilities for instance like Leer you mentioned its like infectious fright? There is one distinct difference no attack is required just a stare. I was thinking about maps without Trees. Trying to come up with something very different. Also thinking about it electrical taser probably your right in regards to lower the amount of tokens to 3 instead of 5. I just didn't want this ability to be so easily attained. Could be a game changer. I appreciate the constructive criticism :) Velociraptor i was thinking of a mix between Demogorgon and Hillbilly. ( something along those lines but a bit different) Could you elaborate on Alan's perks?

Hardened Archeologist, Quick Thinking, and Knowledge base?
