De-pipping at rank 20-15 doesn't even do anything cus you can't drop in rank. That's the whole reason this started to become so rampant. I could guess that people at level 20 have always done this, and now that you can actually rank up to 15 playing like that the behavior has gotten reinforced and started to propagate. People see that other people dc all the time, they are more likely to also dc. I know at least I have dc'd more in the last week then in the last 6 months.

****Ok I'm seeing a lot of false information in this thread so let me clear this up****
The devs made a change to huntress so that her hatched now appears further in front of her than it used to. They did this to fix an exploit where you could stand facing a very specific point at a very specific wall and your hatched would appear on the other side of the wall, effectively letting you throw it through the wall. (Idk how this fixes it but that's what I was told).
Anyways, what this means is that the hatched now starts it's arc so far ahead of you that if you hugging up against a survivor, your hatched hitbox actually spawns on the other side of the survivor. Yes, it looks like you're throwing the hatched through them, but the cause is that the hitbox of the hatched hasn't spawned in yet. This was a deliberate change by the devs and will happen every single time you throw.
Is it stupid and sucks? Yes, but when has that stopped the devs before

ok I just learned that it's not in phase walk it's just that when she vaults a window it looks like she just stands in front of it and then teleports to the other side.

While playing Surv I learned that she can go through windows while in phase walk. Can someone give me a youtube video of her doing that so I can see how fast it is please?

Personally I run Empathy because you will always see where the killer is at if he's in a chase, and it's also useful outside of that for it's designed purpose. Basically the only time you don't know exactly where the killer is, is right after he hooks someone, at which point they probably have BBQ so you just want to hide anyways.
You can also tell when a killer breaks off or loses a chase by how the wounded survivor reacts (self caring for example)Technically there's the situation where the killer hooked someone and then failed to find someone else at which point you don't get any benefit from Empathy, but there has to be some part that's not OP against the killers.
The reason that a lot of people don't run stealth builds is it's just too powerful to loop killers into infinity and gen rush at the same time. There's no point to stealth builds if you can just do that. Killer coming to you doing a gen? You don't need spine chill, just sprint burst away.

I've reported a bug with the request to let me know if a dev has acknowledge it's existance, 1 month ago.
There was no reply. So what does that mean. The devs dont have 1 minute time to leave a reply or nobody looked at my report in a months time?Also, this thread and others like it exist on this forum and the devs are doing nothing in the way of damage control. I don't know what the Community Manager is doing, but it doesn't involve this forum.

You assume the devs are working with perfect information and a perfect plan. That they won't make mistake or won't mismanage. Keep in mind these are amateurs that only got lucky their game blew up.

Killer: Just get as many bloodpoints as possible. Kills are only 2k points that ######### is worthless. But also: facecamping the toxic suvivor is a win.I get 80+k BP each killer match with BBQ and half the time the suvivors are like "gg you deserve the win" or something like that. You all toxic ass-holes should learn how to be a decent human being and also grow up since you're all like 16

There is definitely a lot more hackers over the past few weeks. Someone found an exploit in the anti-cheat software the DBD devs bought and the hack is spreading over forums and chat servers until whoever gets of their lazy ass and fixes it.
Since probably nobody cares it's gonna take months to get this fixed. GGWP

Console updates have to be paid for by developers and need to be internally tested by sony/microsoft. That's why consoles get only very rare patches and PC can just patch literally every day if they want to. All the devs did was sent the patch to Sony at the same time they sent the patch to Steam. Other devs just hold the PC patch back until Sony gets their ######### together. shrug
That's just what you get for tying yourself to a company like that with Sony/Microsoft. -
Why you gotta have to be toxic? All you're doing is ruining someone's fun and for what purpose? If you're feeling weak and need to have power over someone else, there's healthier ways to do that. Go work out or something. You'll feel powerful then.

At rank 20-16 a lot of bad killers will just camp cus they dont know how to play the game.
So the advice is to rank up at least until you're 16.
If you're rank 12 you've gone too far and need to turn back. -

Honestly the Devs don't actually care about reporting or the report function or any ######### like that. They already said they just went and bought an anti-cheat from another company. They have no idea how it works, they can't change it, they can't fix anything. There is literally one guy at the dev studio who looks at all the million reports that come in and it says stuff like "this guy is a hacker" and he's like I can't just ban the guy cus someone said this, I dont know if it's true.
So yeah, nothing is gonna change, nothing is gonna happen, cus the devs don't care enough or are simply unable to do anything. GGWP

If you're playing this game at high rank you're doing it wrong. This game is balanced so badly and the devs are so trash, you will never get a competitive game. The only thing this game is good for is casual level 15 games where you run around and meme and don't give a ######### if you die or whatever.
Sorry to break it to y'all but you should save yourself the salt and just move on to a better game.
