he said posting as a stranger things character
What does that have to do with any of the points that he just made?

Considering what the director of Jeepers creepers did, I don't think that'll ever be happening.
Maybe Candyman though idk

I'm sorry but if they were turned on by default Nurse use would skyrocket from the skill floor dropping.
Nurse would be just as hard to play as she is now, giving her a common add-on isn't going to change that.

It’s the fact people are defending spirit when she’s clearly bugged and unfun to play against. blows my mind
Again, being "unfun to play against" and having an audio bug that in all honestly isn't that bad, isn't Killswitch worthy.

@Piruluk said:
Hillbilly was broken, instasaw billy was the most disgusting thing ever in this game.
Deathslinger was extremely oppressive in 1 vs 1
A couple of billy's add-ons were broken, but that's not a good reason to nerf his basekit into the ground. Should've just nerfed his good add-ons but they even nerfed the ones that were perfectly fine, now most of his add-ons are nearly useless.
-
Iron Maiden on Bubba, I'm surprised more people don't run this perk on him. Literally eliminates one of his weaknesses, people avoiding his power by hiding in lockers.
-
The only perk about being a switch player is you don't have to do any achievements, because there aren't any on the switch version lol
-
Well, I'm very excited for the next chapter.
-
Most likely because a lot of dbd players play the game casually.
-
@legacycolt said:
The fact that people play her more now that she’s bugged is a reason for a kill switch imo. I mean, the only person having fun in a spirit match is the spirit, no one else. 🙄
A Killswitch is for a game breaking bug, last time I checked this isn't a game breaking bug. Just because you don't like facing spirit doesn't mean she should be killswitched.
-
No, can't say I have.
I don't really try to though so I guess that's on me, I'm only really involved in the forums and I only really come here to either complain about certain things or to just ask the community questions.

The problem with Freddy lies with his major rework. Original Freddy was not strong, but he was unique and honestly kind of fun to play. Not so much playing against, because many Freddies relied on Endgame Builds when it is really hard to wake up.
However, the Rework basically killed Freddy. He was stronger, but also really boring to play and way too easy for his strength. Like, I dont mind if Killers are simple, not every Killer has to be Blight-Level when it comes to being hard or easy to play. But if a Killer is simple to play, it is fine if they are not one of the strongest and because of his Slowdown-Potential back then AND because he was super-easy to play, he was one of the best Killers.
And to counter that, they nerfed almost every good Add On he had.
IMO, Freddy can only be saved if they rework him again, bringing him closer to his original state (and in retrospect, I think that adding the teleport back then and some other things would have been enough to buff him to a decent level). But I think that current Freddy can and never will be able to have strong Add Ons anymore.
I agree with everything you've said here, pre-rework Freddy had a very interesting concept that stayed true to the character, it was just that the execution of this concept was awful. Then they reworked him, and as you said it basically killed him.
-
No, I'll be saving my shards for something else. And I'm not going to waste my money on a killer that looks like a Fortnite skin.
-
@Xernoton said:
Correction: Freddy is horrible.
Everything about him is so sad. You start with no power and due to Adrenaline being a meta perk you end the game with no power.
Yeah he is horrible, but I didn't really feel like making a post explaining why so I just talked about his add-ons.
-
At least pyramid head's addon's do stuff, they're bad but at least they technically do stuff.
Most of Freddy's add-ons either do nothing or barely anything, I'd take pyramid head's any day over Freddy's.
-
@TheArbiter said:
Freddy is pitiful right now. He needs yet another complete rework.
Agreed, one of the worst killers in the game currently. I think my favorite rework idea was from Seriously Casual on YouTube, he made a video on how he'd rework Freddy and I think it's pretty good.
-
The last 2 can be viable strategies, if survivors with say boil over are going to areas where you can't hook them bleeding them, out is your only option. Teabagging a killer to get them to chase you also exists, although the survivors who do that tend to be cocky and will get downed 10 seconds into a chase.
-
Tbh I don't think behaviour is going to go through the trouble of getting the Chucky license just to make a legendary skin for the least played killer in the game.
-
Idk a full build but jolt is a pretty good perk for basic m1 killers

lol every game like this that comes out they say the same thing: "its going to end dbd, it will give dbd a run for its money, it will force the devs to do wonders"
And here we are, still playing dbd, still complaing about anything, still waiting for the next game.
And I'll tell ya, this Texas one will come and go and will still be here and so will Dbdfan398.
No need to be so rude, I just said it might give DBD some competition. If it's good that is, but again, too early to say since there's not many gameplay trailers out for it yet. Even when it does come out I'm certainly not gonna stop playing DBD, it will still be a one of a kind game when Texas chainsaw massacre comes out.
I don't agree with op crying about leaving the game on the forums, I just wanted to talk about the Texas chainsaw massacre game because it looks cool.
-
Oni is probably the most balanced killer out of them all. Although Demo, Wraith, and Huntress are really balanced killers as well.

seems like this new Texas whatever is another game that's going to "end dbd", huh?
And about that, hows that evil dead game doing? or that VHS one?
I didn't know people were saying it's going to "end DBD", but the new Texas chainsaw massacre game would certainly give DBD a run for it's money. If it turns out to be good that is, it's too early to say what it will be. I just hope it's good since I love the Texas chainsaw massacre movies.
-
Yes people camp in this game, get over it.
-
For me it's usually the Nea or the Yui who tries to work with me or sandbags the entire team, usually the Feng is the weak link who thinks they're amazing at the game despite being downed in every chase 10 seconds in.
-
Trickseter, aggressively weak power, not fun to play or go against, basically just bargain bin huntress.
-
Remember that behaviour has the rights to the Ghostface itself, Ghostface himself belongs to funworld. From what I know they don't own the rights to the movies, which is why Danny's lore has virtually nothing to do with the scream franchise. And I'd doubt they'd go to all of the trouble to get the rights to the movies just to make one survivor out of it.

B. Punished innocent players
C. Both
Took the words right out of my mouth.

Yeah I didn't get them either
Edit:Nvm I just got them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It is a killer issue. When ive asked people why they were toxic they said otz told them too 🤷🏽♀️ Which goes back to my point of fog whispers encouraging toxicity against survivors but not killers
It is 100% a people issue, you saying it's only an issue with killers shows your bias.

Yes buddy we know, everything survivors ever get is balanced and ok to be in the game while everything killers get is "oppressive" and "broken", we get the usual narrative and pattern in this forum, you dont have to make another post about it.
Just commenting on what I saw because I found it interesting, no need to be rude.
-
Yeah no, I love lightborn but using it every game is a waste of a slot and reinforces bad habits. I will usually only run it if there's 3 or 4 flashlights on high prestige survivors in a lobby, otherwise I'll use a more useful perk in it's place.
-
This isn't an issue with killers, it's an issue with people. People are just mean to each other for no reason most of the time, especially in games since there's no consequences for being mean.
-
Wesker, he's a lot more fun. Not saying that pinhead isn't fun, it's just that he's a lot more skill based then Wesker is and being a lot harder to play as well. In my opinion at least.

Is the Twitter account the same one that replied to every BHVR post to optimize for console?
Nah it's just one of those "remove certain perks" gimmick accounts, their whole thing is that their name is "remove perk" pfp is usually that perk with an x over it, and they comment on every single post the dbd Twitter makes just to say "remove perk it's unfun to go against" or something like that, there's a bunch of them and they're all extremely annoying.

The ones that get deleted
This one's my favorite deleted threat, the post was deleted and he was banned right after lol
-
There was this really cool post I found a while back, basically you gave the op a name for a killer, a name for a perk, and a name for an item, then op would come up with a power for the killer, the effects of the perk, and what the item did. Honestly it was really cool.
-
He desperately needs some buffs to his basekit, he's one of the worst killers in the game because of it. I'd be very happy if he got some buffs, not just because I play him semi often, but because I love the Halloween movies. Some of his add-ons are great, but those can only carry a killer so far, his basekit has needed a buff for a good while now.
But I truly doubt he'll ever get buffs to his basekit, knowing behavior they'd look at his really good add-ons and say he's fine in his current state which he isn't. And seeing as he's a licenced character means he probably isn't gonna get buffs either.
-
I don't dodge lobbies. I don't care how high the prestige is, I don't care if it's full of ttv's, I don't care if it's all toolboxes, and I certainly don't care if the lobby is all flashlights since I can just equip lightborn, I take my wins with my loses, at the end of the day it's just a game and doesn't really matter too much to me in the grand scheme of things.
-
I agree, honestly I've never even used eruption before. Don't have nemesis or any of his perks, but I still think the way they're nerfing it is lame. It needed to be nerfed for sure, it was a very unhealthy perk for the game and a lot and I mean a LOT of killer players replied on it, but it didn't need to be gutted. Now it's just really bad, I wouldn't call it useless it's just really bad now.
-
You really out here complaining about a c tier killer that isn't even hard to face dude?
-
I really just want shadowborn to be basekit for killer or for there to just be an fov slider, the game looks way better with it. And I don't want to have to waste a perk slot on something that should be in the settings.

I just had a game with a hacker, it was a really fun game.
"Why bother to report them?"
Maybe because they're hacking?

I'm 100% not gonna even get this chapter, even with shards, I'd rather save up for a cool skin then buy a chapter I have no interest in.

Nah bro that's not gonna happen, you're using to much copium at this point. Just accept that this chapter is bad and move on.
-
It's annoying that's my problem with it, it isn't dreadfully overpowered or anything but it's still extremely annoying. I see it basically every game now, usually 3 survivors are running it. My problem with dead hard lies with it just being bad game design, I'm just gonna steal a comment I saw on YouTube to describe it "imagine playing call of duty and you have to wait 9 seconds before shooting your opponent" like I know dead by daylight isn't an fps game but I think the complaint is still pretty valid.
Survivors can make a lot of mistakes in a chase and still win because they used dead hard at the right time, that's annoying man, imagine having a chase extended by 30 more seconds because they pressed a button. You can do everything perfect in a chase, but if you don't stare at the survivors butt for 9 seconds and wait out deadhard you'll either lose it or the chase will be extended for a much longer amount of time. Just gonna throw in an example here, imagine facing a very annoying survivor, y'know teabagging and clicking stuff like that, you chase them and you get them down one health state, you're excited because you want to stick it to this jerk, and when you swing, they deadhard, all of your progress is done and you didn't get to stick it to that jerk and now you just look like an idiot. So now you gotta carry your shameful butt to another survivor and hope to God they don't have deadhard either.
It's just annoying, there isn't really much to add to my statement. Annoying perk that perpetuates bad game design. I don't think a perk like deadhard can be balanced without being flat out removed from the game all together. Btw I know some survivors are really bad at using dead hard, I've seen survivors do some really brain dead plays with it but that doesn't change the fact that a good survivor, even an average survivor can get a lot of use out of it.
-
My matches have been fine as of late, I haven't been disconnected for a while. Sometimes the games lag really bad but I'm pretty sure that's just the servers being unreliable. And frame drops sometimes but I'm 99% sure that's just the switch having trouble running the game. Sometimes I'll get kicked out of a custom game whenever I finish it but that's it, hopefully your problem will get fixed soon though.
-
Yeah they're really cool but they're expensive too, 15 bucks when I can buy a whole new character for 5 seems like a ripoff to me.
-
None of them, I feel like people are ignoring a big problem here, how exactly are the killers gonna hurt the entity? Like seriously, what're they gonna do stab it with their weapon lol
