  • I find that unless you're at green ranks killer takes forever. Solo survivor never takes long for me but swf is pretty bugged.

  • Or you could improve. There's also lobby dodging which I think is unintended and discouraged. Play how you want as long as you have fun is what I guess devs would tell you.

Because calm spirit doesn't complete disable the Doc's power. No Mither already does enough, Oni can't get a half charge from hitting you since you're never injured. Accept that no mither will always suck and was meant to suck.

Glad to know you don't care about perk diversity or immersion. I do and I know others do too so I stand by my opinion

  • Honestly it would be a fairly killer sided map if it weren't for the darkness and scratch marks/footsteps bugs

  • Just a fun QoL change I guess. Make it unreasonable to reset the pallet during chase maybe?

  • No comment. You put it perfectly

  • I think you misunderstand the perk's intended use. Breakout allows you to more easily take protection hits for your teammates and the wiggle progress for those hits is greatly increased.

This is hypocrisy at it's finest. You've got another post called "One shots and movement Skill Killers shouldn't exist" where you made a response calling all people who disagree with you "killer mains that are trying to defend the broken combo of one shotting and high movement speed". That's not how discussions work. And your main post of the thread did not give any reasons or arguments at all for why you would think killers like that are broken, where as other people explained why they don't think these killers are broken at all.

I admit some of the responses are extreme and not very friendly, but that doesn't make your post any better for a discussion.

Yes. You are hypocrisy at its finest. You even have the trademark terrible grammar. Regarding the thread's topic: you derailed from it. Need I say more?

They are a 12 second stall. That is almost nothing especially when the Legion goes off to find someone else.

okay. How would you feel if as killer if a survivor stuns you with a pallet you have to sit there and hold m1 for 20+ seconds. Killer mains just don't understand that the game is boring enough for survivors already (hence the need to be toxic or even bully killers). What everyone needs to understand is that the asymmetrical aspect of this game needs to be acknowledged at all times. While it might be "balanced" if survivors had to sit on a gen for 2+ mins to finish it, it wouldn't be enjoyable. This is a video game that people play for fun, like with most video games. Loading screens are long enough. Survivor games should not have 10+ mins of loading screens embedded in them. I like their approach to the new killer, rewarding fast-paced gameplay and taking risks. I feel like this is what they wanted to try with Legion and although they messed up badly, it's not the fault of a game mechanic but rather how Legion's design is in direct counter with what the game was designed to play as. You make a good point and I like your creativity

  • Deep Wounds were never meant to kill. They are just there to have survivors do before doing other objectives. Complaining about Deep Wounds debuff is like complaining about End Game Collapse because you thought it was more fun to bully the killer after all the gens are done.

  • Decisive is good and balanced rn. It's no longer a staple and honestly quite easy to counter. If you don't like having people with ds active at an open exit gate maybe you should be less sweaty for kills. They got out, get over it. Survivors have to get over an impossible to find totem

Ghosts don’t rise up from the earth when Haunted Grounds goes off so what’s your point?

Wow, you're so witty...Haunted Grounds has a realistic effect because you invoke the wrath of spirits by breaking their property. This is a serious thread icyf

  • I have a pretty solid idea for a rework. It is no longer an exhaustion perk (breaking into a sprint after breaking your ankles is pretty ridiculous). Stagger effects from long falls are reduced by 75%. Balanced Landing has a cool-down of 50/40/30 seconds each time it activates.

I try to be the fairest killer I can be and even doing that I still get hate from survivors so I dont really know what to do. I dont camp or tunnel but I do in very few situations which isn't often I leave hook instantly to chase other people but I still get hate from survivors even tho I follow most of there made up rules because I want everyone to have fun and I'm not an ahole tryhard I dont get hate from killers most killers players the ones I meet are usually chill(not saying there aren't toxic killers)and we have nice conversations after the game but some survivors just cant except that they died or they supposedly got tunneled and camped I just dont get it sh!t happens get over it

I got mad hate from one survivor I was playing trapper and I have one guy in the basement and I see someone go to save them so I head back I slap the rescuer as they run to an ultra safe pallet but the unhooked gun runs to a place with no pallets and a window I trapped so I go after him and down him he was on second hook not even dead(this was not my first hook I hooked 2 other people before this)and he instantly DCed and messaged me raging saying hhow I'm trash and a mother ######### all sorts of stuff and I just say well he ran to no pallets and a trapped window while the rescuer ran to a super safe pallet so why would I not chase you. Then he proved my point by saying he knew I trapped that window and there are no pallets around so i just ended the conversation telling him to have a nice day and he just cussed me out one more time.

    This is really off-topic

Here are more things I've found labeled as toxic (that shouldn't be):

Camping hook when another survivor is in the area, like... please throw that survivor rulebook of yours in the trash. The killer does not have to let that person unhook you, they will stay and search for that person.

Camping when final door is open and more than one surv is alive off hook, what should the killer do? They're not sweaty, they're just trying to get at least one kill or one more than they already have because they know the person will more than likely escape if they leave.

Moris and Flashlights - people are allowed to use this, does not mean they are toxic. Hate them? Hate BHVR, not the person using what BHVR gave to them. It's part of the game, it's going to happen.

"Tunneling" now... when I say this I don't mean you only chase one specific survivor the entire match. I mean say hooked gets unhooked, and then killer wasn't busy... goes back to hook and you're the only person they can find because the other person was smart and left the area or hid without leaving scratchmarks. What should they do? Leave someone they're supposed to kill to win?

Noed, some people see it as rewarding failure and I'm one of those people. However, it's also my fault (and the rest of my team) for not taking out the totems. But again, it's something BHVR put into the game and people are allowed to use it.

Stealth, I know stealth/immersion usually implies the person is not doing any gens and is hiding most of the match but being stealthy leads to not dying so the person can make saves and do a gen when the killer isn't around.

DS, just like noed I personally see it as rewarding failure but it's allowed. I don't see the toxicity in it.

People just don't like the game and I don't understand why people keep playing if they hate everything thrown their way. If people don't like it, they should uninstall. It's toxic to whine and cry about things that aren't actually toxic.

How does DS reward bad gameplay? Unless you have Iron Will the killer will find you when they come back for you. Besides, DS is easy to counter and if you tunnel and pick up a survivor you should always be ready for DS. Are you talking about grab baiting? Sure it's obnoxious but it's even more obnoxious to sit in front of a locker for 30+ seconds

  • Some of these are good but some others are uninformed. Not shabby over all

  • When I play survivor too long, I get really bad at looping and time management. Maybe too salty from dying constantly or just getting ignorant. Once I switch it up and get to 1 million bp using killer I am much more mindful of the killer's mindset and much more aware of what the killer is trying to do. This is probably due to the fact that I have it refreshed in my mind that I can capitalize on the killer's mistakes and that if the killer catches my mistake I'm dead. I also like hearing thanks from survivors when I give them the hatch for playing well/respectfully/respectably.

Are you sure? I copy+pasted from the Patch Notes. @Almo is the perk bugged or are the Patch Notes bad written?

writing can usually be wrong, idk if this is for xbox only but hovering over Yui Kimura it says her perks are Luck Break, Any Means Necessary, and Breakout

  • You have to be joking. The devs have answered all of these questions many times and your suggestions are not thought through at all. What I was hoping to see was the fact that all survivors are just skins but you're obviously a killer main that has no regard to the fact survivors (even ones in solo queue) are living humans with feelings.

  • It's sad that despite all of the upvotes on this post, devs will not bring it back

Since it olnly works "Once an Exit Gate is opened", it is useless. Everybody avoids openning the gates because of Bloodwarden. But I wanted to thank devs about Kindred buff, this one is the master piece of the patch!

Actually, it's once the Exit Gates are powered. Nice Try! I love this perk now!

  • Hag and Trapper are annoying for me, you have to look at the ground/crouch all the time. Nobody likes facing Meyers. Snapping out Ghostface is jank but otherwise he's fun.

Yeah the only addons that made her resemble her old basekit got nerfed despite everyone wanting them to stay the same.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/858924#Comment_858924

Yeah honestly this is all she needs. Like 10 meters increase to encourage further exploration away from the hook, and remove the stupid slow she has when she teleports. I friggin hate the slow it's cost me so many hits over the years.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/859092#Comment_859092

Survivors got what they wanted; their counter of running in a straight line to be good against every killer. No one adapted and simply played around Nurse, now you can by moving in a single direction. That's so much better than having alternative gameplay.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/859210#Comment_859210

And clear lack of listening to feedback. Pages and pages of good critique and suggestions if they have to go through with a basekit change.

Literally nothing changed from the PTB to live except the cooldown addon nerf. Like wooooow insult us by ignoring feedback and then only changing the thing most of us would have used. Double slap.

    Casual killer mains are hilarious.

  • It sucks that the perks that affect bleeding do nothing against him. Calm Spirit works against doc, why can't No Mither work against Oni?
