The one I'm running now on Pyramid Head I kinda like is Trail of Torment, Surveillance, Tinkerer, Discord. I call it you think you can fix a Generator how cute.
-
If your having issues with zombie getting stuck just whip them and increase your powers and reset them. I have personally done that, and I rarely rely on the zombies for anything but a moving radar dish to know if a survivor is near them.
Also as others have pointed out the chapter has been out for a while and there are numerous YouTubers out there that shows the buggy zombos. You'll be able to get water from a rock in the desert than get your money back.

If they do it at your face then it flashes yellow on the screen. some people are sensitive to this and can even have a seizure from it. BHVR won't do anything about it until someone potentially dies from it and they get sued.
Exactly it's that initial brifht yellow flash before the screen normalizes so you can see again. They could make it so that when someone is running lightborn the flashlight on the killers screen is more like the outer ring of the flashlight, that more mute transparent yellow that's not that bright. But hey thats just a crazy idea right.

The issue with that is that it invalidates perks that are only good when stacked and on comms(for example Head On).
That's the point the coms give SWF teams a major advantage over a killer. That's one Nerf that wont break the game for the SWFs because they would have to think more strategically when getting together.

SWF is imo fine. The issue with it is that gens go too fast with a team with the slightest amount of efficiency and teamwork, and since solo players are too trashy to have this they lose, making SWF seem OP by comparison. This being said, a much better solution would be to not nerf SWF, but gen speeds. My idea would be like gens gradually get slower as you get to higher MMR. Maybe at the lowest, 75 seconds, since the game is killer sided at low skill levels, and at max MMR 90-100 seconds.
I agree slightly yes Gen repair speeds need to be reworked especially for SWF teams. I faced a SWF team this morning and around 3 mins they finished 3 gens at end game all 4 had tool boxes with brand new parts and two of them had leadership 3. The game ended so fast I only got 1 hook in. I'm not a close to being a horrible killer my average kills are around 3 and if the survivors do all escape I make it hard for them. But these SWFs have the major advantage of using discord or another voice chat program to communicate to each other. The Devs need to think of a way to make the game fun again when going against a top tier SWF team.

It is an amazing perk. I do not leave without it if even one player has a flashlight. That might be a little extreme, I know more people believe it is practical to run it when you see 2 or 3 instead. But I promise you, the amount of time they waste trying to flash you is severely underrated. It is important to pretend you do not have it, by the way. Still face walls, still turn so they do not flash at pallet breaks, still tilt your head up when they go for it raw. This will keep them trying, and when the moment is right, you can reveal you had it the entire time and get a free down.
Another point to mention is that boosted flashlight players often run flashbangs and blast mine. Immunity to flash is nice, and blast mine, you still get stunned... BUT it reveals whoever planted it who is usually hiding in a dark corner nearby. You can also use it as a miniature "all ears" to mind game at jungle gyms where you can see exactly where they were going if they tried to flash you at a pallet.
Just think about the type of player that runs flashlights. Seriously, just think about it. How they waste time trying to go for saves, how they want your attention. How they rely on it at loops, especially with iron will. And none of that matters. You basically derank them. If you were facing a full red rank swf, and they all have flashlights, all of a sudden you are facing a full purple rank swf. Word up.
I STRONGLY recommend putting it on your build as it will get more value in that match than most of what you are running anyways unless you are going full meta. Only if you see a flashlight, obviously. But remember, they can still get them out of chests. And who knows what kind of subtle hacks people have to increase blind effectiveness. I became one with the light after someone got a full 90 degree save on me while I was facing a wall. At that moment, I said, "never again."
Same I ran into a hack flashlight save when I got flashed and I was blind for 60 secs and it wasn't even a reflash one single save.

First killer match of the week and faced a flashlight bully sqaud :/ Got flashsaved about 8 times. Killed 2 but it took 20 minutes. Really hated it. Shout out to all the morons that team up like that to make the killers experience FAR from enjoyable.
That's where getting Lightborn is important don't have to worry about flash saves

@dallasmedicbag said:
OP is talking about those who spams the clicky clicky sound on the flashlight, not him/her getting blinded, so you fellas tellin him to equip lightborn are hmm....
Yes and no they clicky click the flashlight so fast it's not blinding the killer because of lightborn but its physically affecting me because of the speed they are flashing the light is actually giving me headaches. I'm not normally prone to headaches so I'm concerned with players who are more susceptible of flashing lights like that.

i don't know dude. I feel as if that's a statement people will disagree with.
in my own opinion, the fast clickers do it for the sole purpose of being toxic. not to help anyone. they just want attention, for the sole reason to be toxic.
I agree with that, it only got toxic when they realized I had Lightborn on.

@pseudechis said:
Flashlight clicking is not “griefing”. It’s just part of the game same as camping isn’t griefing either.
It can be annoying because survivors are meant to be scared and run from the killer, but if you know how to loop then often there is nothing to fear from the average killer so people get obnoxious and in the killer’s face.
It kinda sucks because it ruins the thematic gameplay. Lightborn is a great perk and the obnoxious clucky folk often melt down about it in post game. If these kinds of players annoy you then consider adding lightborn as standard part of your build.
hopefully killers will get ongoing improvements making them stronger and survivors who want to play in your face and obnoxious can be easily killed removing that element of play, but don’t count on it.
Ever since the RE update came out I always use lightborn.....if it isn't Flashlights its Blast Mine and Flash Bang, and if it was the an annoying clicky folks it would be fine but these last few I have seen are not doing it to annoy it's to be toxic because it was never around big loops or that. They would wait till I was in a chase and if I knocked down another survivor or picked them up here comes the machinegun clicking, or eventually started to give me headaches from the flashing lights.

Macros, they don't even put the effort to click themselves
I figured I have a fast click finger but that's way too fast.....they also were expert loopers that somehow could loop while clicking lol.

What is a flashlight griefer? lmaoo someone just using an item? That would be like callling someone a medkit griefer, they are healing xd!?!?! If you are talking about clicky flashlight people, it literally does nothing lmaoo it is a funny noise at most.
Then you haven't met them yet no what I'm talking about are ones not using the flashlight to blind the killer but constantly flicking it on and off like a strobe light to blind the player themselves. They click it so fast you eventually get headaches from it. They do it to grief and not use the flashlight as a tool.....its similar too as the said griefer would flash the flashlight to get the killers attention to someone hiding in a locker or working on a gen. That's what I'm talking about.

Lightborn is your friend. Your savior, even. Their clicky clicks cannot hurt you with proper protection.
No not flashlight blinders but ones that constantly flicker the flashlight knowing you have lightborn....I was starting to get a bad headache last night because Iof it.

To take them to the basement and insidious camp, of course.
The thing with that is I'm not a camper I find that wrong.....unless there's 2 survivors left and you hook one where you can look at both doors and the hooked survivor easily then that's the only time

But that also makes survivors hearing phasing sound because they're not inside TR.
Beside, if you phase in Kindred range, your husk aura will slowly disappear because of insidious. Survivors knows youre in phasing and go for unhook earlier than they usually do.
I made a topic about playing with her TR. Distressing is actually give her more benefit to me.

Hmmm very interesting I'll have to try that out this weekend when I play

I just don't get why run Iron Grasp.
I have been running into alot of Boil Over body blockers and hook breakers lately. I lost more prey because of it so that's my insurance policy. Tbh that gets switched out with Lightborn if I see Leons....Jill's or just flashlights in general.

@Neamy said:
Funny thing about insidious, when It activates you can phase, move, then stop during phase for a few seconds and insidious will activate before coming out of phasing. Granted you can't get super far, but if they think you faked them out, only moving a bit out of view, they believe you left them altogether, since you TR is gone when you unphase.
That's what I was thinking the Mother Daughter Ring allows for super fast speed while phasing and with the Glasses I don't have to worry about losing them because of sloppy butcher I have a nice glowing trail to follow......been accused of hacking for tracking them so well lol.

As a Doctor main who started playing last year ill give my 2 cents! Also welcome!
General: Doctor is one of the killers who can be really flexible with his build. Impossible skill checks, Gen Lock Out, Aggressive chases, etc.
Your build is mixing a few different builds. Hex: Huntresd Lullaby/Overcharge is good for impossible skill checks, but Iron Grasp is out of place.
Impossible Skill Check: Hex: Huntress Lullaby, Overcharge, Oppression, PGTW, Dragon's Grip. I gave you a few options since you are new. You can get a lot of value from these perks. PGTW + Overcharge + Oppression will do 25% immediate regression, slap on a tremendously difficult skill check for next user and cause 2 other gens to start regressing. If you want to run Dragon's Grip over Huntress you will mess them up. If they touch a gen you just kicked, they scream and get exposed for 60s. I suggest DG since higher ranked survivors are used to hitting the hard skill checks with DS.
Btw my current build is Whispers/BBQ/Surge/Corrupt Intervention. Whispers is great on Doctor since it almost guarantees no wasted Static Blast which is one of his best powers imo. With a crazy long cooldown of 60s you can only get 10 per match sometimes.
I have other good build ideas. Lmk and I'd be happybto share them.
Hey thanks for the advice. My main is my buddy from Silent Hill, but that's because he is and always will be my favorite monster/imposing force of any game.....but I am loving Doc way more than I thought I would.....ATM my go to killers are PH.....Doc......Huntress......

God, don't do that dude. The increase in addon quality is beyond tiny, prestige is not the way to go. Ever.
Instead, level up Killers with useful perks, Otz's channel on youtube will give you all the information you need, and then teach those perks to all your other killers. Otherwise you'll end up with 6 full pages of perks and you'll be wasting millions of bloodpoints to find BBQ or Hex: ruin.
Dam but what if I want the Bloody cosmetics lol.

@TheBus4K said:
Woah, I remember when I barely had perks and did builds of this style, especially when my rank was low and I played against survivors who also had low rank.
Basically this build in high ranks is useless, but in mid-low ranks it's a lot of fun, hearing all the time notifications of survivors failing skillchecks xD.
Yea I'm right now rank 15 so I'm in the mid rank zone.
-
I noticed that too when I was playing on the Cathedral map with the carnival.....I was chasing a Chris Redfield and used Shock Thearapy 7 times before he went into madness and he only screamed for 4 of the 7 times. I cant recall what addons I was using but I can only seem to induce madness with Static Blast, Shock Therapy seems to only induce it about 40% of the time at best.

If you are new and don't have many teachables unlocked, sloppy butcher and whispers are very viable on doctor and available from the start. Overcharge is OK if you have nothing else but you should try to get hex ruin (from the hag) or pop goes the weasel (from the clown). Corrupt intervention (from the plague) and hex undying (from the blight) are also worth getting
Yea I think that's what I might do is focus on leveling up all the killers and survivors first to get their teachables unlocked then work on prestige so I can get the better addons

Well I had a moment just two days ago.....
I just got my new computer and was finally able to play DbD. I have only been playing for about a week and got sucked in by Pyramid Head....he has always been my top 10 video game monsters/villains. So I'm still new and got trashed by a SWF pc team. But instead of trolling me or being toxic they actually said I made the match fun for them. When I told them I have only been playing for a week they added that I should keep going because I kept the pressure up on them and with practice I could really be a good killer.
That made my day and that's why I just play to have fun because like one of them said, "Skill will come in time and you will get better when you actually have fun when you play"
So even if I get totally thrashed I don't get bothered with trolls or toxic players at endgame because each one that tries to troll me in game only is showing me their tricks and I'm learning how to beat them.....
So thank you trolls for being toxic to me....I'll get you next time and make you really sweat for that toxic win.

It was literally in the shrine for the first (and probably last) time 3 days ago.
There's currently an event on where the shrine changes every day. You really should be keeping an eye on it if there's perks you want from there.
Unfortunately I work during the week so I cant play everyday to get the shards to buy them from the Shrine lol
-
I was also looking at Star Struck as well.....but not with this set up....I went up against 3 Docs with it yesterday and it was a very scary thing......

I would replace Huntress Lullaby and Overcharge with Ruin + Undying. Also Iron Grasp is really bad.
I would do Undying but don't have Mr Pinball yet and I haven't seen it in the Shrine yet lol

Your build is ok. Sometimes it will win you games and sometimes it will do nothing. Just play with it and adjust it when you have more perks.
When you have all perks i recommend: Corrupt (Plague), PGTW (Clown), STBFL (Myers), Thrilling (Ghostface) or BBQ.
Doctor was the third killer i played (i wanted monitor & abuse) and i reached rank 5 with him without many perks. So just have fun.
Yea I do have fun. I have been utterly trounced by the survivors and got 0 hooks but it's the chase and challenge they give me only makes me better and where I have fun.
My main is good ole Pyramid Head.....

Nay,
Add ons: Discipline and either Electrode or Order

I was thinking of PGTW once I unlock it but this build I was thinking of a doing a skill check difficulty based one....

I personally would switch for iron grasp for unnerving presence.
Making it harder to do skill checks, especially if lullaby is still in play
Who gives Unerving Presence.....Iron Grasp is just a throw in because I don't have too many perks unlocked yet.
