Forcing people out of their comfort zone is truly testing the skill on both sides. Its beautiful. Also on both sides has introduced me to perks ive never used before that I might use afterwards. Not as bad as I thought they are. Like as a survivor with aura reading perks and killers with hex perks. What do you all think of the event?
yeah about that comfort zone, im still being tunneled…

Tunneling is unfun for survivor, but in a game about time management, making the opposing side 25% slower is a must for a lot of weaker killers to win.
There are few perks to mitigate the early-game pressure survivors have, like corrupt intervention or ruin. A perk that helps this is Pain Resonance. But 'nice guy' perks are jokes a lot of the time, like dying light, or Jason's new Hex Totem.
For tunneling to be solved, then Clown, Ghostface, and Cannibal need a way to apply pressure early on in the match.@Domicci said:

first we need to actual define tunneling because it seems alot of survivors and even killers don't know what tunneling is even the devs have a horrible definition of tunneling.
tunneling is the intentionally going after a singleplayer at the determent of your game. if a survivor unhooks proly doesnt mean the killer is tunneling if the killer just happens to find the unhooked survivor thats not tunneling and killing someone quick to gain pressure back is not tunneling.
Tunneling is me getting immediately breathed on down the neck by the killer while they quite literally wait for my endurance buff to wear off and then down me because they can. And afterwards being hooked a 3rd time because I dared to be unhooked by a survivor even while he was in chase only to immediately turn around the moment I'm unhooked, multiply that by the abundance of mobile killers like jason, that can do this without question, abd there you have it, congrats heres your 5-7k BP

What Keeps you coming back?: Most other games suck just as much
What slice of gameplay gives you the biggest rush?: No Mither
What is the most satisfying thing in the game to you?: Making a killer DC after a successful 360 (with no mither) / All survivors DCing at the first sight of whatever killer I'm playing. -

I am guessing you are talking about me? If so, I have no idea what my post count has anything to do with this discussion. Those are just posts I made on these forums over many years, discussing all kinds of things regarding DBD.
And is this like all you got intellectually? Just attacking people personally as soon as they express an opinion you don't like?
After reading through the posts, and i may get flagged for being off topic, but it more than likely has to do with the "S Tier yapper" reply that one person replied to you with. I have nothing to do with that, I'm just answering the question.

Windows is not the answer to this problem and by all means it wont help, if the area he spawns from blocks majority of the immediate resources within his proximity. Suggesting windows to anyone is terrible advice.

The issue is, hes only boring because survivors refuse to take the chase. Your complaint here is people crouch walking and getting of gens to avoid being chased.
That'd be like saying "oh X killer is boring because people have decided to hide in lockers instead of progressing the game and so it takes them forever to play the game".
Yes crouching helps you avoid detection from his power, but if all 4 survivors refuse to take chase then of course theres nothing he could do. And seemingly survivors response has been "but why can us crouching not cancel all info the killer power gives".
You shouldn't cancel out a killers power by crouching around the place. springtrap has similar mobility and you cant just stop him using his cameras or doors by looking at them.
Soft counters exist, but they shouldn't just shut out the killer from their power especially basekit otherwise they'd have to make the rest of his kit stronger to compensate. the reason hes a 4.4 is because his information is strong (otherwise he has 1 ammo as a ranged killer that has to move away to reload, hed easily be a 4.6 and have the rest of his kit buffed) and they recognise that. thats why they let survivors choose who gets chased, because hes freely given that info
I would argue that I wouldn't mind taking the chase from him if whenever he spawned out of omnipresent gap fillers, such as windows and pallets weren't blocked for free, it almost like asking for a free hit or down. And as I've argued before in previous posts when it comes to "conveniently" placed windows and vaults its the same situation with gens, most gens are placed to where there one good way to go, and one bad way to go, usually the good way (which is where most mindful killers will contend) will be guarded while the bad way, will also likely lead you to get a spear in the back. I'm definitely not saying its never possible. I've had a few good runs and loops against him. But, in most of those cases it's been because he decided to start a chase out of omni or for whatever reason, user error, spawned from a less optimal resource. That said, forcing chases against him is quite boring especially speaking against well experienced killers who are used to throwing projectiles. you just get hit and die no matter how good you think you are.

How to deal with Zombies in 2v8:
Step 1: Find a pallet
Step 2: use pallet to kill them.
Step 3: Lift pallet after use or re-build one.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profitlol
Or blind them.
its a good thing i illustrated in my texted playthrough the steps before hand of getting this how to comment

If they were to do this, that zombie count would definitely have to come down xD

Myers is fine bro. You got some real skill issues if you think he needs to be nerfed. Y'all got too cosy having him as an easy as pie to loop M1 killer with haunted grounds for his power he could only have limited times . Now he can whup some butt without needing tombstone.
There's a huge difference between someone calling for a nerf and someone calling for a change. i want him to be strong, but not at the cost of DBD core gameplay, in every comment Ive said in this post, not once have I said he needs to be nerfed.

With your response, he's not wrong. You already have a twitter account but now you only come back here to complain about a killer who isn't even overpowered. Being in denial doesn't help that fact either. Your post history proves it.
But I DONT have a twitter account, i said "recreate," I dont use that app so you are both wrong and bringing up irrelevancy into my topic.

I wasn't addressing you. I was quoting SoGo. You can see that in my post.
my mistake.

as i said to abbzy, those killers all have a reasonable downside from using their power to break a pallet; and also, him pallet breaking isnt the sole complaint that im aiming at. it's his entire basekit as a whole.

You don't need to stun him. Just drop the pallet. He gets a base kit enduring so it's not like the stun sets him back dramatically as opposed to just dropping the pallet and forcing him to break it.
I would prefer the old tier 3 animation too but I think the glowing knife is fine as it's still quite easy to see. Not that you need it since you get several audio queues that let you know he reached tier 3.
i didnt mention stunning him in response to your reply, i implied that predropping adds almost nothing to the chase against him.

Like bubba, billy, blight, nemesis, knight, deomogorgan, oni in blood furry and other killers with certain addons such as wesker, pyramidhead, legion couldnt do it either, so its nothing unique in the game as ability as you present it here.
In regards to pallets, which is just one of the assets to his kit as a whole which is the main focus of my argument (not just pallet breaking), the other killers youve mentioned all have a reasonable downside to using their power on a pallet, mainly being it blocks it, putting it on CD even for a brief moment or fair recovery time.

Mikey is just fine the way he is. He is finally viable now while still having plenty of counterplay. You get both audio and visual warnings for his power. You pre drop pallets just like you do against multiple killers in this game.
He's a sold B tier. He's not even a contender for any changes required. Plenty of other killers out there with real issues, whether being too weak or too over tuned, that need attention. Michael isn't one of them.
predropping a pallet vs majority other killers doesnt = instantly destroying a pallet without an active perk. he is NOT perfectly fine.

Anyone having a problem with Myers should be also directing there attention to Oni as well while in Bloodfury mode he has extreme mobility when demon dashing and when attacking in demon dash he has no turncap restrictions so he has 360 degrees available to attack which is very oppressive while Myers has 160 degree turning restriction for slaughtering strike and he has no mobility options.
Furthermore Oni has faster recovery from demon dashing a pallet and can catch up to you faster cause he has demon dash while Myers gets heavily slowed from breaking a pallet for 5 seconds.
I'm just saying if we're advocating for Myers nerfs I expect the same for Oni.
Oni has the downfall of being an absolute unit, he's loud, angry, flaming red, very easily hits invisible walls / corners if not careful with mouse movement, and above all far easier to predict with his dash than myers. the comparison in how the 2 deal with their approach are completely different, let alone how they 1 tap someone. Mind you, myres also oddly behaves like a wraith coming out of stealth with lightening speed.
-
I honestly welcome the 2 in comparison to myers, infact just give me clown, my number 1 opp, at least I know for a fact im going faster than a meme coin on the stock market. theres not a single killer with as many borrowed aspects from other killers as myers' basekit, not one.

Begs for killer variety, still aren't happy.
I swear these forum members are survivor mains from X.com coming here to cry.
Oh I'm sorry if sharing my experiences and thoughts from a killer I have both played and played against for years bothers you, perhaps I should just recreate an X.com account and complain about it there in the most irrelevant blog possible.

This community is so inconsistent.
"Buff low tiers"
"Ok"
"Not like that"
Im actually playing myers now since he isnt just stalking and using outdated addons to get cheap kills
That's usually going to be the case with a killer being exorbitantly buffed. I'm not attacking the players playing him (not that you insinuated), I'm criticizing BHVRs changes to him with the results that are happening.

New Myers really feels opressive when he reaches T3
This is kinda a good thing. But I must give OP some points here. I often notice it myself, that Myers loses his T3 after a long time just to take 5 seconds to reach it again. Atleast it feels like this from time to time.
Also dropping Pallets against him stops him only for a short amount, since he can instantly charge his M1 up again.
Maybe he could get a bit of Onis Power in there that he loses a bit of his T3 if he shredds a pallet.
I agree, he should have a level of oppression, I don't want to feel like "I can escape this" from any killer I face the moment I see them; but I also shouldnt feel there's little to no value in using a resource. and with the way BHVR seem to have most vaults in the most pointless areas of locations, like right next to an extremely convenient opening, W key and hoping their eyes arent too great are the few things available against him in chase.

Mustve written this after a fresh myers loss. I enjoy playing as and against personally. Forces you to play a more in a more stealth based fashion. Every killer has a counter, find out which works for you.
Believe it or not it was roughly 2 hours later after, but even then it's a culmination of how most of the games especially after this recent sale has escalated to 1 of 4 games is myers and half of the myers games plays out as mentioned; the other half being new people in learning wiffing into objects. And as for whats "working" for me, is when I get pissed enough from all the myers I keep getting and just throw the finger at exposed because im going to get 1 tapped anyway and just no mither it to force him to pick me up and get me out of the game asap or leave me at his own risk.

This new system where the killer can automatically kill the last survivor has made it where every match ends with slugging while the killers bm you on the ground. Either add basekit unbreakable when there are two survivors left or remove entirely. It's ######### insane how many killers slug as if their whole family will die if they don't get the last pity mori. I love it, don't you guys!
yes please

Weaving only works if the item is on the ground so if the item is bound to you Weaving won't proc for what you're carrying. Only stuff laying on the ground.
Ahh fair. But possibly altering weave so it WOULD do so regardless is still a possibility. My thoughts are to still add a balance to the idea other than outright "make this perk the best choice to have because nothing can go wrong."
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Yeah not a bad idea. Ward does same thing except Franklin's will still make you drop it. With a few tweaks it could work, general idea though is pretty solid 👍
the only thing i personally can think of as far as tweaks go in comparison to when i first made this post is that weave would still make you a walking beacon possibly, but for one who uses Object of Obsession that might be too powerful if you consider SWFs for info. The idea is simply there needs to be something survivors can take the risk of using against a few current powerful perks aimed at essentially trashing an item for free (emphasis on essentially, because not completely)

Bringing this back for more eyes to hopefully see.

With shoulder the burden hitting the game, it's time for killers to see each survivor's hook state next to their mural. It's something I've wanted to see for a while, and with this perk a killer is now completely oblivious to what should be solved information in the match. Fundamentally, being kept unaware of whether or not this perk is in the match at all let alone when, where, and on who it's been used is such a massive nerf to killer it's a little absurd.
Even without shoulder in the match, this is still something that should be implemented. Theoretically, a killer can keep track of who has and hasn't been hooked how much, so it's not like they're getting access to new information they wouldn't have before. but match after match, or if survivors decide to stack the same survivor and cosmetics, keeping track of this becomes more difficult. factor for fatigue, out of game conditions, or just not having the skill mastered yet, a killer can lose out on information that is important to their success in a match. Especially with survivor stacking, it enables survivors to make cosmetic decisions that have an active detriment on the killer's enjoyment.
Before claims that it would make tunnelling easier… it wouldn't. If a killer is going to tunnel, they're going to tunnel. You only need to keep track of one survivors hook states to do so, and, this information is still information that a killer has total access to it just by knowing what's happened in the game.
All that not implementing this feature does is punish killers who want to play the game casually and not sweat to victory.
Most people that tunnel were going to tunnel from the start (as you mentioned), so while i agree this wouldnt cause people to tunnel more, it still solidifies the info those particular players need to keep doing what theyre doing. As for survs using the same cosmetics, it honestly wouldnt help with that either or at least anymore than what is currently available in the game. the only thing that could possibly help with that but wouldnt work for this game is having a player name over their head which again, would not work for this game.
