All cosmetics will be available in the store 6 to 12 months after their respective rifts.
Charms will never come back.
Thanks, wished I knew spending money for anything in this game would be a waste.

So if it wasn't just for yourself, tell me, what difference does it make for someone who doesn't own all the characters have all the cosmetics available in the store at a later time? It sucks for those players who won't be able to complete certain challenges due to not having the required characters. But then again, the killers and survivors who the rift belong to are announced to everyone. Someone buying the battle pass knowing they don't have x, y, or z is on them and only them.
Maybe because people still want the charms or cosmetics for other characters besides them, but it'll be harder without having the purchasable ones to complete challenges requiring them which by the way are essential to unlocking all tiers in time. Same goes for their perks which the only other way you could obtain is wait for the shrine to have the perks needed every week. And if the player wants to buy all the cosmetics it would be 3-5 times more expensive than spending $10. And as I said before, unforeseen circumstances that can prevent people from completing the rift on time. Or maybe I'm just a dumbass that you all label me out to be. I don't really care anymore.

Shouldn't be an issue for you. You mentioned you got all the characters. Your point? This is a non issue.
This topic wasn't just for myself. I made that clear.

What about them? Who knows, they could add them to the store later. If you really wanted to earn those final charms from the rift, you know what you have to do. I get your point, but I really don't feel like it's a big deal. There's been 3 rifts and they've all worked the same.
The only difference is the characters and challenges. Some which are easier than the last tome and while some characters you're required to use are behind a pay wall.

Yes. The devs have been upfront about how the rift works and even warns everyone when it's about to close. Does it suck if you pay for it and can't finish it? Yes. However, the cosmetics will appear in the store later and let's face it, most people buy the rift for that anyway. It isn't a big deal IMO.
Once again, you guys ignored the charms.

When you pay for the premium pass, you already know what you're getting yourself into. If you're buying it knowing you aren't going to finish it, that's your call. You're still able to gain BP from finishing the challenges after they're over, and eventually whatever cosmetic you wanted, but couldn't get, will become available in the store.
So basically my money is no good if I buy it and can't finish it due to unforeseen circumstances? Even if I bought every character/dlc in the game and bought cosmetics.

Cosmetics will be available in the shop 6-12 months later.
What is so wrong with time exclusive cosmetics anyway?
And what about the charms? We haven't seen a single charm in the store with the closest thing being Ace's lucky rabbit foot from lucky pants.

The grind is too high yes, but if you can just get it always then it completely loses its purpose of trying to get people to play more often
What about if I pay for premium? I don't care about the auric cells gained from it and would just like to gain everything at a slower pace.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/170390/was-the-leatherface-buff-overkill
People love to complain soon as the killer gets one shred of power first nurse then spirit now hillbilly and now cannibal I wish people would actually play the game like they intended but entitled survivors must ruin the killer base because they can Noam the loudest so no I think they should keep the cannibal buff as is
Understand that not everything needing to be buffed or nerfed is unreasonable. Balance needs to exist or players will be discouraged to choose roles. The devs have been against buffing Leatherface for some time due to him being too strong if even the smallest tweak for him is made like movement speed. The update makes him even more dangerous in loops. Freddy or Spirit isn't even that strong in loops and they're A tier killers. He completely replaces clown too since the gimmick behind him is to minimize loops while Leatherface can do the same thing, but instantly down people as a bonus.

Seems to me like a sign that something is wrong with Legion.
He's okay, but he certainly isn't the most consistent killer in circumstances. He can only hit multiple survivors if they're a certain distance from eachother. Survivors also tend to either run from him when he's near, or hide behind a pallet waiting for him to get in stun range. Since his vault speed isn't faster than the survivor's he's not closing the gap on survivors in loops. His add-ons also don't seem to make that much of a difference like the killer instinct and recovery cooldown add-ons. I still like him though.

He also gains his charges back instantly for downing someone, which can end up him playing like the Legion
He needs an Ultra Rare add-on to be able to do that.
Okay so a add-on that makes him a steroid version of the legion. I'll edit my post then. Lol

Killer because I don't have to do any of the following.
-
My main for survivor has been Ace since the game was free on PS+. I wanted someone who wasn't a quirky teen, someone experienced and chill who could dress promptly. Some of his cosmetics are indeed weird, but if you get your hands on a trilby hat with shades and a pineapple shirt, you look like a million bucks. Followed by the lucky rabbit pants to let people know luck was always your partner in crime.
For killer however, it was first Leatherface, then Hillbilly, Pig, Spirit, Legion, and currently Freddy. Freddy has been my favorite by far and I have Behaviour to thank for making him from one of the worst, to one of the best killers.

This is the polls subforum. Here, you can create your own polls about anything you'd like- as long as it's within the rules.
To get things started, here's a simple question:
Which role do you play?
I play killer for the following reasons:
No bad teammates
Lots of bloodpoints
Near instant matchmaking
More fun to play
Easier challenges

I was wondering if given a say, what would the community like to see BHVR design for the next original character. We have a clown, Samurai, gunslinger, etc.. already and I thought about what other tropes or killer categories they could go into for a fresh killer, while not encroaching on the identity of an existing one.
Here are some of my Ideas, let me know what you think:
- Insectoid (think District 9)
- Pirate
- Banshee
- Windigo
- Werewolf
- Troll
- Vampire
- Demon/possessed
- Gargoyle
- Evil knight
Would like to see any of these as possible killers? Which ones stand out to you or do you have other ideas?
Most of the killers in game are human with some ability. And if they added classical killers like werewolves, vampires, and mummies, the roster will start to look like it consists of Scooby Doo villains.

Increase the range (by 8m) of the benefits of these perks when Open handed is equipped, not just aura reading?
I think Open Handed would be cooler if it also reduces aura reading distance of killer perks. Like 2/3/4 meters or more depending on how strong it'll be with multiple players stacking it.

Billy is supposedly completely fine but they're gonna nerf him to add that extra bit of "counterplay". So when is DS, the perfectly balanced survivor perk that totally not everyone in red ranks use because it's a crutch second chance perk, gonna get it's own little taste of extra "counterplay"?
A community manager was the one who suggested this and I think it's fantastic. DS can mostly remain exactly how it is right now, but if the survivor gets healed, starts healing another player, touches a gen, enters a locker, or unhooks another survivor it automatically cancels DS. The healing portion should cancel it if they touch a survivor just like if they touch a gen, and the self healing portion should cancel it if their healing progress exceeds 30%. That second part is important because survivors would just 99 their bars so they can still keep DS up till the last second but still leaves them some room incase a teammate accidentally taps M1 on them and basically feeds them to the killer.
The way he put it was pretty much DS is fine if they don't want to get tunneled but by performing an action like mentioned above then they themselves are making the choice to put themselves back in the game and should lose their protection.
I don't really think the Hillbilly was nerfed since this is a change for people who don't use his chainsaw right away or camps. Also he finally gets a Ultra Rare add-on after 4 years.
