  • I am willing to attest to this statement. i have been feeling something is of with nurse past couple of days with blinks. Also Victor is bugged for twins.

  • it is the truth. so many times i see people leaving gen when they see first heartbeat, i dont care if i have to go down to complete a gen and the people who makes your escape hard is the ones running around in panic leaving blood trails everywhere. Just sit on the gen, use prove thyself. Dejavu, maybe some other gen perk. Dont go save your useless teammate unless they are really dying there on the hook, the gen is more important than some fool.

  • this is no lie. i suck at survivor but i escape well over 70% to this day. I simply run genrush build and do my objective quick and efficient , gen bambambam, killer demoralized.

Because the blood generators are WAY easier and quicker to get finished and 4 out of the 7 generators are Blood Generators, so the survivors only have to do a single normal one.

Thanks for Clarification, i thought why suddenly it felt all survivors are sponsored by SK-Gaming.

  • Ive been playing a couple of events and i dont know what is going on really. Barely any interactions with survivors at all. feels like i am running with 0 perks and that gens are done quicker. Can someone explain to me what this is ?

This is very true I spent all my 1k hours solely playing her in pubs and I found very few teams that could hang. I think maybe 3 or 4 maybe. I got to the point where if there was a survivor that knew how to loop her I'd just spend the whole match pretty much just 1v1 them and killing their team mates if they interfered.

That is pretty funny because there are people who are extremely good, a handful of them to loop nurse and then for me at least and it seems like to you as well it becomes personal. Who are you to defy the mighty nurse and you dont care about the gens you just need to down that one Super survivor and i think that is also better than winning as you learn a bit more about yourself and your character and them.

  • Well Singlularity, Skill is a fresh concept. I been rank 1 in wow but after a long break i probably am 500 rating under my peak and if like in wow my rating was still around 3000 when i return i would get stomped to the ground until i learn again, until i dont have tunnel vision again and so on. That is also why mmr resets every season.

So while i understand his concern i also feel, deal with it , you will lose and it will be alligned with what you are , you may realize you arent as good as you thought and might be dissapointed in yourself but thats life mate.

  • You cannot have and eat the cookie.

  • I mostly run offensive perks even on weak killers. I am of the mindset that a strong offense is a good defense, Even on my main Ghostface i only run Surge and i win maybe 85% of the games 3-4k usually with alot of gens left becuase you dont let them have time to do anything but lick their wounds and looking for their items which at the same time exposes them.

problem with playing Nurse in pubs is that you will rarely bump to a team that actually has macro experience to play against her, meaning your skill with her basically stagnates unless you start going for scrims and tournaments.

It's really sad when you see thst huge part of pub playerbase has no idea what macro game knowledge is and thus how to play against such a killer that is countered in macro sphere as Nurse.

What you say is true. I have ran into some Survivor teams that actually knew what they were doing. They keeping track on your charge in accordance to their distance for your second blink to be too short becuase they made the turn in the right time , or they know what objects that are considered "safe" . But the majority do not play that way. They are thinking you are facing the wrath and hiding behind something while you kick a gen for a free hit , They dont understand they might have predetor on themselves after chase is lost and do not play unpredictably like some do. But those are very few indeed.

I understand Nurse is hard for some to play good and thats why you see " rarely a good nurse" Its probably becuase htey havent put the time in and felt that the character felt sluggish after missing bliinks but if you are a person who has decent timing i think shes pretty relaxing to play in comparison to other killers , espsially m1

  • i dont play survivor but i got it in my first 2 games. I dont have skills as survivor. I just run gen rush build and walk from gen to gen and then escape.

  • @wakesafe said:

This post has a strong aura. What’s your favorite Nurse skin and perks?

I mainly use the black hood skin walling shadow? I am not logged in right now but perks i run is , Predetor, nowhere to hide, lethal persuer, Oppression. Addons are The tooth ( nurse calling ) and the one who give mangled status.

I feel she is a bit too opressive tbh.

  • @Rulebreaker said:

    ...so we got questions.

One, what does any of this have to do with the title?

Two, facing a swf is not a forced loss for...let's just say a lot of players?

Three, how would the devs control people using outside things?

Four, why should people be punished for playing with friends again, especially since the devs can't control people using outside resources?

If you read anything he said he said, if you invite x amount of players to your party you get penalized by X amount of regression, So then that balance the coms out a little bit and it does not matter if they sit on teams.

  • Yeah as a killer main i have accumulated a whole lot of friends on the path to P100.

I am going into my profile and all i see what a peace of #### i am and that i should #### myself among other things.

Then amongst the swarm of these comments i got a few kind ones.

Then maybe, the map selector should pick by realm. But this isnt a variant issue, is a realm repeat issue.

But removing all of these maps then we get different realms with different maps. I know i will be enjyoing seeing more of Elementary school. Mental hospital and other maps where i will crush people with ghostface/nurse

  • No.

Yesterday i got 3 coldwind and 3 of that haystack map in a row.

  • Thank god. Hate those 46 variants of ormond and coldwind

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/441449/this-is-the-most-balanced-the-game-has-ever-been

its not balanced imo simply bc as killer your FORCED to run slowdown if you want to win (with all killers)

That is a lie.. With the Nurse i finish an entire team in a blink of an eye ironically. The mere presence of me on the map makes them stiff and not being able to do anything after i showcased some surgical blinks. My slowdown is that they walk up to me and ask for me to kill them so they can move on.

  • It may be because you are not doing the objectives. I am not a good survivor but i got well above average escape rating although i suck at loops and probably can not last more than 20 seconds… So what do i do to get my million points ? I Think, what do i hate most as a killer ? I hate those survivors who has ice in their stomach who sit on gens even tho i walk above them, who only leave their gen when killer can be seen with own eyes 5 meter away and i would sacrifice myself to complete that gen, hoping i get unhooked.

Combined that mindset with Deja Vu, Prove Thyself, Bond and lithe prehaps. Bond is not so yuo can see where your teammates are , but to see if its safe for you to continue to sit on that gen because the killer will break mentally the more gens are one quicker and you will win.

  • You nerf surge you going to nerf Mayers, Ghostface and other already weak killers to the ground, Surge is the perk that makes those characters remotely playable by being able to keep pressure and have some sort of gen regression. You nerf surge and everyone will play blight and nurse.

It's kind of weird how literally everything I had suggested is some form of buff to the killer. Something they can actively do. And the only downside was bringing the anti-face camp back. Which still doesn't really work at any significant distance at all, by the way. And you somehow think that I'm some "survivor main" that "wants 4 hatches".

Please. I argue for things on both sides.

I am perfectly content in 1 shotting everyone who tries to go for the hook and let them exhange for as long as they want until their team is decimated or they can realize the fact that this hanging body belong to me.

Or they can increase exit gate opening to 1 minute and remove the hatch so you got mindgame to do if you think its fun.

I don't think a hostage situation would occur, outside any other normal situations where a killer player being a real jerk would try to hold survivors as long as possible anyway. It would definitely be extremely advantageous for trapper, though, and would require a lot of teamwork and smart moves on the survivors' part. For instance. Disable trap, hold switch for 25 seconds, get off and be ready to disable the trap again.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3902690#Comment_3902690

That's part of the reason I wanted to give the killer haste.

10% haste wont solve that. I am happy having my foe in the basement with stalk on the entire team and get a 4k. Why should i promote running around getting my legs tired when i got my survivor where i want him. Enough now with all the buffs and needs and wants from you survivor perspectives. I know u guys want 4 hatches too. You can choose to to the hook and make some tactic but most likely someone is going down but sometimes it works. You gotta do the gamble.

  • You know certain m1 killers cant get from gate 1 to 2 before they are opened even tho they patrol the area.

  • Experience and prestige do go hand in hand if you are playing your character to P100. I am a lot stronger on Ghostface than on other killers even tho he is considered "weaker" even against SWF, only do not like that boneyard crpa map on him but other than that the thing that made me feel he was unplayable did change to his strenght which is the early pressure i can get with him with 2-3 downs pretty quick to stabalize the situation. I only run him with 1 slowdown perk (Surge).

But yea there is alot of players who never become better no matter what they do but they just suck irl as well at everything that they do. You can be born with talent or you are not born with talent and even those who do not have any ounce of talent in their body can of course reach P100 but i think you are far more likely to run into a bad P100 Surv than a P100 killer because its hard to imagine someone P100 for +1000 getting stomped on every game and sticking to that character.

  • Killer Name:

    Benjamin Netanyahu - The Puppetmaster

    Real Name: Benjamin "Benny" Kedar

    Role: Master of Manipulation

Backstory / Bio:Benjamin "Benny" Kedar was a brilliant and calculating political figure who rose through the ranks of his nation's government, known for his cold, decisive nature and strategic mind. But as his power grew, so did his thirst for control. Obsessed with bending the will of others, Kedar started to manipulate not just political systems but entire lives. He crafted deals with both friends and enemies, using their fears and desires to twist them to his will, never once considering the cost to those around him.

But his ambitions eventually led him to a secret society, where he learned of the Entity. Fascinated by the idea of ultimate control over life and death, Kedar willingly made a pact to serve the Entity, offering his soul in exchange for more power. He became The Puppetmaster, a twisted killer who controls the survivors like marionettes, pulling the strings on their fates. Now, he hunts those who resist his will, using his influence to manipulate and break them down.

    The Power: Puppet Strings

The Puppetmaster uses a set of magical strings to control the movements of survivors or create traps that manipulate the environment. These strings are invisible but can be sensed by survivors when they are near them.

    1. String of Command: Once activated, The Puppetmaster can choose a nearby survivor and place a string on them. For a brief period, the survivor will be forced to move in a specific direction toward the killer, as though being pulled by invisible strings. If they resist, they suffer a penalty to healing and repairing actions.
    2. Tangle of Fate: The Puppetmaster can use his strings to sabotage the environment. He can set traps in windows and pallets that, when triggered, cause survivors to become briefly stunned and disoriented, as if their strings were pulled in the wrong direction.
    3. Pulling the Strings (Ultimate Ability): In a final act of dominance, The Puppetmaster can bind all survivors within a certain radius to invisible strings. For a short period, survivors can only move in a direction chosen by the Puppetmaster, and they suffer heavy penalties to all actions while under his control.

    The Memento Mori: Stringed Farewell

The Puppetmaster stands tall over his victim, his eyes cold and calculating. He pulls a final string, which wraps around the survivor’s neck. The victim struggles, but their movements grow weaker as they are forced to kneel. With a flick of his wrist, the string is pulled tight, snapping their neck, and leaving them dangling like a broken marionette. The body swings slowly, a chilling reminder of his control over life and death.

    Perks:

    1. Mastermind: After downing a survivor, their aura is revealed to you for 5 seconds, allowing you to see where they are moving. Additionally, all survivors within a 32-meter radius of the downed survivor have their healing speed reduced by 25% for 30 seconds.
    2. Infiltration: After hooking a survivor, the Entity blocks the generator with the least progress for 30 seconds. During this time, survivors are unable to sabotage or repair the generator, and any survivors nearby suffer from the exposed status effect for 10 seconds.
    3. Tangled Web: You become immune to all status effects caused by survivor actions (e.g., blinds, stuns, etc.) for 20 seconds after hitting a survivor. After hitting a survivor with a basic attack, the cooldown for this perk is reduced by 15 seconds.
  • This game is little about skill but more about human behaviour , to know what people tend ot do in X situation. most people act the same.

Probably, but that also depends on how they play the game. Some people play casually, while others play studiously, trying to learn all the ins and outs and master their power.

It's not unlike Grade. Grade is essentially based on playtime, but not everyone plays the same. Now I don't think Grade is as useless as some claim because there almost has to be some correlation between the time you put in and the skills you develop, but much depends on how you are approaching that time.

Prestige is similar. Odds are better than not that if a player is P100 or Iri 1 they are probably better than most, but it's only part of the equation.

And then there's the the question of whether the time it takes to get to P100 (even dedicated strictly to that character) is enough to become an expert/master of them. I would say that depends on the killer. For many of the killers, you could P100 them twice and still not master them.

I mean if you're just playing a single killer and shoving all your BP into them, you can get them to P100 pretty quickly. Well before you master them. Or even get all that good with them, even.

One could be brand new to DBD and get a P100 killer well inside of 100 hours. And by most standards they'd still be pretty bad.

I would like to know that trick becuase i put 800 hours into ghostface and i am P80 and i win most of my games and i use 100% bonuses and played through all these events relentlessly.. I could understand it as survivor if you are a grp of 4 during event and everyone is stacking 100% bonus points on top of the 300% but as a killer is pretty RNG.

  • Okay but lets move on from you guys saying the same thing.

New question. If someone has prestige their character to P100 playing them only. Would you say you are likely to go up against a strong opponent ?

  • @Rickprado said:

Not being able to invite your friends to play with you is not a good move from a game company perspective… why someone would buy a game with 4 players if they can only invite a single friend?

The easier way to do things is to balance SoloQ to be as much as coordinate as possible and buff the weaker killers so they have a chance against coordinated survivors, be them SWF or SoloQ.

I'm sorry to word like this but if you don't like facing SWF you will have a hard time playing this game. If this can help, just close the post match chat window and go for another match. It will be the best for you.

Well because it is alot more common for someone to be able to get a hold of 1 more person to play with as in any game. In World of Warcraft 2v2 has always been the most popular ladder? Why? Because it does not require you to go out of the way to find 3 more people who can play at the exact same time as you can.

So the point is these people go out of their way to play a 4 man Squad. They would lose a fraction of the playerbase.

Btw, noone likes it. Do you think the SWF would like if we killers got permanent wallhack to see wherever they are. Only SWF likes it.

  • @Blueberry said:

Well what's realistically causing what you're talking about is a few other things, not intentional MMR dropping imo. I think it's more that they do lots of challenges, weird builds, letting people go, messing around and not being serious ect. So while not per say "intentionally" deranking, I think those players play in a lot of ways that ends up deranking them a bunch inadvertently if you get what I mean.

Make sense it could be the case. The reason for the question is that if we consider these people the top of the crop then why is it not the same in other games ? You do not see someone who playing for rank 1 in wow , Or Starcraft, or Counterstrike suck so much as their opponents do in stream and you can also tell that what these content creators are doing is nothing out of the world such as when a world champion in counterstrike has surgical precision in every single shot and would ace everyone with the starting pistol by shooting everyone in the head 1 shot per guy.

  • I dont know what surrender means to you guys. But when people surrender in war they lay down their weapons and ask for permission to live and that is what they get. not a bunch of (money) blood points they accumulated throughout the game. If surrendering blood points should be 0 for entire team. Killer should get full blood points.

Or perhaps we should add a surrender button for killers to so we can surrender as soon we know its an SWF ?

  • first main: Ghostface p80 second mains are Twins, Wrath, spirit and hag.

    fav map: Racoon police station.

    fav perk: Surge/sloppy - Bond/deja vu

    Fav item: Midkit

    fav chapter: No idea.

how many p100s? 0 .1 p80 the rest is average p3 with some of the side mains are around P10

    hours: 1150

  • Thanks for the input guys. The reason why i made this post is because i recently picked up twins and honestly i have had a really great time with her , Shes prestige 10 now and i win most of my games , but not always with ease because the opponents i face now after 4king myself 85% of the matches to prestige 10 they run 2 and 2 to kick victor, when i open a locker there is someone there to throw a flashbang, When i hook there is a flashbang, people running dissmantling hooks. everyone in their grp run meta perks with iri/rare addons.

I was looking at some twins gameplay and while they do play similar like me they dont get flashbangs, They dont get people looping properly, getting stuck on corners running into the killers knife , they do not heal each other , they do not hold on to victor but let him go right away setting the game up for the ultimate slug for the Youtuber. And this isnt becuase they are einstein and doing fantastic plays that would wow me its just survivors that jump over a window and the right into the open in a jungle gym.

I am not the best player around but i am not the worst either i believe. but it feels like after you go on a long win streak you basically only meet coordinated SWFs and they do not do the stupid stuff mentioned above.

Also i havent played much survivor except for my bloodpoint rank and i generally just genrush on thosr occations in soloQ as i feel thats the best chance for escape and ranking so i am not familiar with all addons. But sometimes like when i use franklin and weave i have been monitoring people through walls that follow my movment for like a 1minute like they see me as i see them . I know there is some addon for it but is it unlimited power on that one or what is going on ?

  • I welcome the 24 meter terror radius. It will allow you to not show heartbeat that suddenly dissapear and make people run from gens, A build i could imagine myself running is franklin/weave/surge/monitor and abuse to get it down to 16 meter. You do not really need more than Surge as ghostface anyway.

  • @ChuckingWong said:

Sorry but no. The majority of your matches are soloQ opponents.

Not even people who play this game as a career 40+/hours a week experience swfs at a high rate. Much less competetive swfs.

Well i spend 75 hours a week the past 7 months becuase i havent had anything to do. And when you run franklin/weave, Ghostface you can see who is SWF and who is not. When they put their items in a specific place of the realm. How they follow each other , how you are always trailed by that 1 person the entire game. When the end of the lobby they got similar names

Solo Q does not have the coordination to know when a stealth killer is coming towards you area 200 meters away in stealth and is on the other side of the map unless someone has told them something.

  • I use Sennhiser momentum 4 , You can either buy a dongle for low latency or just use cable. fantastic headphones with 60 hour battery.

  • I feel there is no soloQ left as a killer. I only face SWF with iri addons , with one person trying to stalk my stealth killer callign out where i am. Its not fun to play killer either atm and that is why you see slugging with meta killers and perks becuase you are a bunch of people who play the game unfairly.

  • Or or , Fix the issue when you do get a hit but the survivor dont take any damage although the animation and sound clearly show a hit.

  • Its not crappy connection its server distance, Are you going t to punish players because the game doesnt have enough players to host a server in every country? Who do you think you are ?

  • Well the last survey they had a few month ago i thoguht id do out of good will. but after like 20 minute of nonsense i felt i would not even do this for 500k blood points.

  • 1 Stop "chilling in tunnels"
2 Get surge to apply pressure in chase
3 identify furtest gen in the start and go there and break up the party
4 perks i would generally run, i dont play Xeno so much is. Surge, Pain res, Franklin, weave attunement. Other good perks are nowhere to hide, Friends till the end, Make your choice is good perk on some M1 or even on xeno since you got the mobility. Mindbreaker is decent. Rapid brutality is kind of meh since you get m2 hits fairly easy with Xeno over pallets.

  • You know the problem with MMR is that once you get above a certain level you will ONLY face SWF (which is cheating in its highest form) I understand that people want to have fun with their friends but 4? I played a lot of world of warcraft and its hard to do 3s because people dont have time nevermind 4s but in this game it seems like its very common to get together every night and play 4 on coms.

To balance this out i got a proposal and that is also a 3rd party software that they got in WoW. GladiatorlosSA its called and it calls out everything the other team is doing, Sheep, Frostbolt, silence, kick, blind, Vanish etc.

Perhaps killers should have an addon like that in this game to balance the communication out so when you are leaving shack i hear a female voice (leaving shack, heading towards main, Doing X gen, Healing in basement.

Then you will see how funny and oppressive it is when the killer know whatever you are doing like you know whatever us killers are doing without even have to LOOK SEE or use you Perks, It comes right into your ear from your dear friend.

  • @ratcoffee said:

Your mmr for each killer is independent. This means that your Ghost Face mmr is high (this is why you get strong opponents) but your Wraith mmr was low when you started playing him.

Because you played a lot of one killer, you have good fundamentals - skills that are good for all killers. But, since your Wraith MMR was low, you got put against low skill opponents. That's probably part of why he felt so strong, you were going against enemies that were a lot weaker than you

While i also thought about your aspect of this , its not potatocans i meet on Wrath he is P10 right now and ive been playing him exclusively to get there basically 4king every match ive lost 2 last night tho when i was a bit braindead and tired after a long grind, but its only SWFs i meet on him now as well too but he is much stronger there is no denying, A lot more forgiving in all aspects.

ive been running 2 builds on him lately that i think is pretty strong.

Surge/Painress/friends till the end/ make your choice
Surge/dissolution/friends till the end/Make your choice

With this build i basically 1shot everyone because i do have the time to catch up to whomever unhook or gets exposed even tho i can hold pressure on the entire map and have everyone wounded most of the times. Usually people heal up before they go for hook but then they get exposed for 60 seconds for insta down.

Only real "counterplay" seem to be for survivors to stand around at pallet while you are invisible but thats why i been running dissolution for a little bit.

"If i dont win with 5 gens against SWFs i feel like i lost."

This sums up most of the killer takes on this forum.

Well that is the standard i put on myself. If i am 2500 rating in arena and have over 10 losses i am also dissapointed in myself and my performance. Mind you i also play Survival and have about 70-80% escape rate in soloQ.

  • @hermitkermit said:

Just to ensure I’m understanding your position correctly, you are very successful with Ghostface and have admitted that you rarely lose any of your games regardless of who you are facing. You want buffs— not because you can’t win most of your matches with Ghostface but because you can win your matches with 5 gens remaining as Wraith?

I’m just trying to understand what you mean exactly, because from the sound of your post you’re not saying Ghostface is weak, only that it takes more skill to use him? Would you like Ghostfaces ability to be more similar to Wraith? I find when playing Wraith that one of his biggest strengths is the speed in addition to the stealth. Do you think increasing Ghostfaces speed when he is stalking is the kind of buff that would make him feel better to play?

I understand your point and how its sounds like a contradiction, i do not want to come of as a prick but lets just say i know how to play games on a very high level in general, i have issues okay.

Why i think he needs to be buffed is because it is so evident that other killers are far superior than Ghostface and that isnt right. Just because i manage to kill everything with it does not mean that the average player who want to come and play for fun and have a good time will.

Things that i feel would make Ghostface in line with other stronger killers is to make drop a knife basekit and possibly even Dricers license (because ghostface does not have the same map pressure as others. it should be Impossible for someone to reveal ghostface while stalking that specific person (must be leaning ) its okay if other people can do it but not the ones who are being stalked. People on hooks should not be able to reveal ghostface and people on the ground should have a 3 second timer to be able to reveal ghostface and when those dying survivors on the ground start to reveal ghostface then the killer should be notified so he can escape.

  • Most bots are better than 70% of the community. Its not just that its an NPC but as a killer it kind of puts you in a situation where you do not even want to go for them because there is no human reactions from them, There is noone getting mad at the other side of the world throwing tantrums and writing nasty things on my walls that i look at in the morning as i zip my coffee.

  • It is hard to answer but i would like it to be more casual but i have lvled my main while playing it to P75 right now (Ghostface) And i honestly only meet SWF with full IRI addons every single game and while i still slay them most of the time it require a whole lot of mental effort, alot more so than when you play survivor even in soloQ which is a vacation in comparison. I wish i could have some causal games sometimes where people try to have fun and not have a bunch of nerds gathering together in a grp of 4 packing on everything they can possibly think of to the mission of trying to bully someone.

Now the situation is that i refuse to let these suckers bully me so i will slay them and save the best for last and i dont mean the perk i mean a long drawn out bleedout just for punishment but that is raising my MMR even further so i cant get out of the rabbit hole so to speak.

Perhaps they should reset MMR sometimes like in other games after a "season"

So i guess i pick i am here for a good time but i am in for hell and so are they.

  • Cannot connect due to no internet connection atm. Has been since 7am

  • Buffs for ghostface is simple imo. Make drop a knife basekit 10% as is and fix so that hooked people cant reveal you and people in a dying state about 3 seconds with notification that you are about to get reveled.

1 2 3 4
