You best believe I’m going to T-bag a killer who blatantly facecamped my friend, not even a patrol camp, straight breathing down their neck.
-
I didn’t know what scratch marks were and I would run around like a dummy then be surprised when the killer knew exactly where I was at.
-
OP against anyone but the most optimal survivors.
-
Leatherface/Bubba, play him like a normal person, not the basement camp meme.
I also really like Freddy, Clown, and Trapper.
-
Ebony Mori needs to go. Ivory one’s not too bad.
Keys are fine and healthy for the game, it’s good to have alternative ways to escape instead of just fix all five gens, run out the exit every trial.

yeah but i thought with the servers up then it wouldn't be this bad. and I dont run wifi, I can't on my PC i don't have wifi built in. Im hardwired so its like uh #########! lmfao
Ah I heard the new dedicated servers were pretty bad. I’m on PS4, I’ve got wired internet as well.
Still P2P so occasionally I get a killer from Mars and everyone’s rubberbanding hardcore.
What really needs fixed is this getting hit through pallets lately..really starting to grind my gears
-
All the killers have the Trapper’s lunge and hitbox (IDK why but they do).
That’s why Freddy, Ghostface, and other killers with short weapons get hits that look..suspect.
I know what you’re talking about with windows though, sometimes I completely clear a vault and don’t get smacked other times I do, only good explanation I’ve come up with is lag.
-
If you’re actually that far from windows and still getting hit that’s just good ol’ latency.
-
Yeah, you can’t really blame people for gravitating towards certain perks and playstyles. You do what’s necessary to win or keep your team alive.
BHVR hasn’t exactly done a ton to shake up the meta or promote different playstyles yet.
I find it a little funny that playing strong killers/perks and add ons is considered sweaty when you actually have to sweat a whole lot more when you play off meta.

If you're legit having fun playing the same stale stuff over and over and over repeating the same chase countless times, etc, etc. Then good for you?
But anytime I'm in a match where I just see someone playing super paint by numbers. ''QUICK RUN TO THE OVERPOWERED BUILDING LOOP!" or dead harding for distance, or just seeing a killer slugging everyone literally seconds into match. I really don't understand how it could be fun to do this over and over and over and over.
Why would I ignore an “overpowered” loop and run to a suboptimal loop or out into the open so you can land a hit on me?
It’s really condescending to say that because people don’t let you win they’re not having fun lol.

Unfortunately it's the nature of modern gaming to be overly competitive.
With kids winning millions of dollars playing Fortnite, the incentive couldn't be higher.
I agree though. I would love for people to just to take a step back and play for the fun of it.
Fun is subjective, I find winning fun. So I play to win.
And people who say rank doesn’t matter don’t know what they’re talking about, yes survivors can get carried by their SWF to rank 1 but for the most part the skill level is higher. Only time it doesn’t matter is after reset.
-
I’d recommend watching streams or youtube videos of the killers before buying them so you have an idea if you’d like their playstyle or not.
The best killer is the one you enjoy playing as.

Wasting a perk slot? So a possible 40% reduction to repair and healing speed is bad? You don’t even need to get all of the stacks for Dying Light or Thana to make slowdown Plague scary. Survivors will have to choose between not cleansing and dealing with longer repair times or cleansing to remove Thana but having to deal with a 115% ranged Killer.
It’s absolutely a waste of a perk slot. Go ahead and keep Dying Light but drop Thanat man. You’re better off using something that helps in a chase. Enduring + Spirit Fury, STBFL, PWYF.
If survivors don’t cleanse Plague’s still an M1 killer that can be looped for days. It wont matter how much you slow the game for.

Plagues still a M1 killer if people don’t cleanse, if you don’t end chases quickly you’ll still get gen rushed no matter how much you slow the game down.
Like someone said earlier, good survivors don’t care about thanatophobia at all. It’s a weak perk.

Imagine thinking Franklins Demise is a counter to items...unironically. It’s a time waster at best.

*laughs in slowdown Plague*
*laughs at wasting a perk slot*
TheRoyalOwl knows what they’re talking about.

Lots of rank 20’s in here, I’d love to see someone post vids of them consistently winning at rank 1 without Ruin. There’s no way ALL of you are that good.

Oooooh I see we adding now. I had somebody come for me because my PSN name is something to do with SpongeBob
Calls you a Millennial and insults you for it
Says “Yo”
Seems legit.
-
I have no problem with them having more unsafe pallets to curb ring around the rosie gameplay but they need to buff stealth in some way if this is the direction the game’s going.
-
The survivors in my games run straight into them and somehow manage to not get hit, so that.
-
Thanatophobia’s not good on anyone, don’t use it. Very weak perk numerically, you’re better off using that slot for something else.

People tunnel in red ranks all the time. There's a difference between throwing the entire game to kill one person and tunneling someone off hook out in the open. A good killer will tunnel when its optimal and they won't when it's not. This notion that good killers or red rank killers don't camp or tunnel is just silly. It all depends on the situation you find yourself in. It takes good awareness to know when and when not to tunnel/camp/slug and there will be situations where either of those things will be your most probable path to victory. That's not on killers, the game is simply structured in a way that allows for those things to be effective strategies at times.
Instead of getting mad at killers about it, get mad at BHVR and tell them to redesign their game.
👏👏👏

The current ranking system tries to control playstyles too much.
The most important category for ranking up should be escapes and sacrifices. You can’t play stealthy generator mechanic anymore as survivor, you wont pip.
Killers with instadowns have a much harder time ranking up as well, you have situations where you 4K with five gens left but don’t pip. What the [BAD WORD]?

@Boss said:
Not denying your point, but have you ever heard how over-dramatic Huntress is?
That’s how I’m feeling inside when I get a pallet dropped on me.
-
He’s right in a way, Ruin shouldn’t be mandatory.
I’m against extra BP being tied to perks, personally.
-
Were you around when the game first came out? Those were infinites.
-
The scrub mentality is real on this board. Slugging to prevent DS is 100%fair. Things should have counterplay.
Run unbreakable if it’s common in your games.

Or Freddy! Freddy's are the biggest pricks imo
Freddy doesn’t have an instadown, but lets not give BHVR any funny ideas..

I think hillbilly needs 2 changes to make him fun to play as and against.
- Chainsaw now only counts as a single hit and is mainly used for mobility.
- His base movement speed is increased so he isn't so easily looped.
Base speed limiter? That’s silly. He already moves base speed as well.

Billy definitely isn't, unless you're going vs baby survivors.
Hes got a lot of tech.
Such as?
-
@CrowFoxy said:
Billy is a pretty difficult killer vs good survs, but he's very, very powerful in the right hands. I still put him above Spirit overall, despite being loopable. But he is a damn good killer, high skill cap (much higher than Spirit, but less than Huntress).
Billy doesn’t have a high skill cap at all, Leatherface has a higher one if you play him normally and try to land saws. Clown and Huntress since you have to aim. Myers and Ghostface for playing sneaky.
Billy’s kind of a pick up and play killer. Which is fine the game needs that.

The future of this game is at risk if the devs don't get rid of all the infinites in many of the maps...
There’s annoying loops but there’s no infinites anymore.

But it's the only one that makes flashlights actually work since it takes so little time to blind a killer. Add a battery if you can't aim. And I'm talking from console, where they are Worse than on PC.
But good killers will follow noise regardless.
I had a survivor running odd bulb flashlight in my killer match earlier, I can’t remember the last time someone flashlight saved against me but this person managed to do it twice, every time there was no wall nearby. Felt pretty instant.
I’d say they’re in a good place, annoying. But I’d rather survivors bring flashlights than purple toolboxes with prove thyself.
