  • I have a solid pair of headphones and I cant hear footsteps 99% of the time. I can hear breathing and 99% of the time that crunch I hear is me moving through the grass. Perhaps with only over 300+ hours I still have not mastered the acquisition of light sounds within the game.

My two cents without Hex Ruin to slow the game down, the desire to make it even harder to locate a stealthy player, taking even more precious time from the killer would make things more sweaty for killers.

Not that all survivors would take advantage of extra stealth, less sounds to clue the killer into your location, but indeed it only makes an already quick game with objective minded survivors to get things done with less concern for being found.

Not saying your desire for this is wrong. Perhaps the effect it would have on killers is less than I would think, but its only my opinion.

  • A little off topic, but I wonder why they have two distinctive ways to reveal survivors. I will say auras are much more useful, so why have the one only reveal locations . . for balance? Who knows.

  • Only way mass disconnecting could be mitigated is by having BIG wait times (banned from multiplayer, not kill your friends) in the event it is done too often.

So for how long and after how many disconnects who knows. I have not been disconnected by the game more than a handful of times while the game was loading OR mid-game. And it never happens back to back. Perhaps 2 disconnects within 30 minutes (2-3 average games) followed by a 12 hour ban should fix that.

Maybe that is a bit harsh, but that is the problem deciding what is fair. .

I think any disconnect followed by being injured, put into dying state, picked up, hooked or in the middle of a mori OR disconnecting right after someone else disconnects should = an immediate ban.

    That's just me.

  • If your main concern is a counter to Prayer Beads. The counter to that is the perk Spine Chill or Premonition. As soon as it lights up start walking away and NOT to the nearest pallet where she would be expecting you to go had you such a perk.

Off topic, the Spirits basic movement is a mind game. You think she 180's while looping to confuse you if you're relying on the red glow, but she didn't 180, she simply phased passively while still chasing you normally.

. . . Now that is frustrating. All else is fine. Killers need power, hers takes some getting used too.

  • The buff is indeed a huge, but the effectiveness of the perk will be affected by what map you play. As some maps have crows galore and others have very scarce crow placements.

  • Spies In The Shadows received a great buff. Much more useful than its former self. And many of us can agree though the perk received a good buff, the usefulness of the perk varies from map to map.

I will continue to use it here and there, but it would nearly be an insta-pick perk for me if it were more consistent across the map selection.

  • -NOED Is For Noobs And Here's Why-

You complain and support under circumstances the use of NOED. Might stick to one side or the other if you're going to rant. Sounds like you understand most of the pros, cons and reasons why players might use NOED.

This to say I don't see the point of creating this thread.

  • I am not a legacy 'long time player'. Though I have read numerous times that blood point gains were much worse and things took much longer than they do now. Would be neat to have a side by side comparison. Might give those of us wanting more blood points per match to appreciate what we have now.

I do agree with you. It will become more difficult to keep everything unlocked especially for brand new players or if you prestige a character. Perhaps they will change something in the future.

What they could and in my opinion should do is allow some sort of system to 'upgrade' unwanted add on's and offerings by combining same rarity. Or an option to sell add on's and offerings back that we don't want for less blood points of course.

There are features they could add to help with blood point gains, but we will have to see what they do.

You can always use 'WGLF' and 'BBQ' to boost your blood point gains every match if you have them.

  • I play as killer and survivor. It's easy to be excited as survivor and face palm as killer. The real question is why the developer decided this would be a good permanent change. There are arguably more survivor players than killers that make up the current player base. That being said the "overwhelming positive feedback" should not come as a surprise.

This change might not seem so survivor sided if the killer was also given a 'better chance at something' though unsure of what that could be. I try to accept goofy changes all around, though I understand your frustration with this change. Playing as survivor, using the 'treasure chest' perk build works just fine when purposely looking for better items.

Again, this is a lopsided addition, but something will come along to balance things out in this regard. Maybe?!
