It's interesting from all possible maps, this is map you pick for rework...
What are the other possible maps? Onis map is actually the absolute worst and the devs know this I guarantee you if devs can show Data this map must have the highest kill rate.

They could just show MMR.
Yeah that would actually incentivize me to play more but DBD in its current state is boring.
-
BNP is consumed on use. It immediately disappeared after you use it and it cannot be brought back by any means.
-
Perks don’t matter you need to learn the maps, Killers power and their add-one, how to play survivor properly. Perks do absolutely nothing if you are bad at survivor.

You can dodge it and then take a safe rescue without any worry of being grabbed, will take a couple of tries to learn the timing, but once you figure it out, you are good to go.
No you can’t dodge it.
-
I recommend using SMASH HIT and Decisive Strike.
If they killer is tunneling just drop by a pallet then use DS and Smash Hit to get huge distance.
DS alone is not strong unless you are close to a window to use lithe or close to a pallet.

His skill floor is a m1 killer with double the speed to move across the map. His skill ceiling is far above any other killer.
No he is not. Blight is the strongest killer and the easiest. Blight is far stronger and way easier than nurse.
Map pressure is a skill you have to learn but Blight get free map pressure by only using double speed add-ons.
Tell me about any other killer that can hook a survivor then immediately check all his generators and go back to the hook all while using 5 rushes. WOW.
-
I switched to playing survivor after being a killer main since 2019. Being a good survivor is more celebrated than being a good killer.
Being a good survivor really relies on team communication because you must figure out the killer perks and add-ons and play around them.
Survivor is very difficult because you have to learn all killer’s weaknesses and what add-ons they use. Like If it’s Huntress and uses Glowing Concoction then she will definitely try to hit you as soon as you get on line of sight. Hillbilly with LoPro Chains will fake revving his chainsaw until you get past the pallet and then insta down you… there just so many things to learn as you play survivor ….
-
Survivor:
Underrated: Dark Sense, Wiretap, Overcome, Smash Hit x DS.
Overrated: Windows of Opportunity, Resilience, Hope, Adrenaline, Lithe, Sprint Burst.
-
As soon as I saw Freddy in top 3 I knew this statistics is just bad.
-
Tunneling is fine because you show your skill into running the killer and buying your team enough time to do gens. Camping is a very unfair strategy because you can freeze the survivor in one place and they can’t help their team in any way.
-
I think the problem is because there is no an actual matchmaking system. Me and my friends have been playing DBD since 2018 and we get matched with a Micheal myers with 300 hours in DBD… but sometimes we get good killers.
And then when I played Solo Q, I feel like I’m in a low MMR lobby because my teammates play so weird. I had someone with TTV in their name and when I checked their devotion level it was 3 and my devotion level is 25 lol that’s a major gap.
-
I played a few Solo Q games and both killer and the survivors were bad. I think all of my Solo Q games were with people of Devotion 10 or less.
Most people that started playing DBD in 2020 need coaching.
I might actually make a YouTube video on how to properly play survivor.
-
Totally agree. His add-ons can make a bad Blight thinks he is the best killer in the world.

I don't understand. So that subReddit thinks sb/lithe is more annoying to vs than sb/lithe, but also they think dh is more of a problem? Whatever the circumstance, dh is highly overrated in skill and very very boring to play around. DH skill ceiling is -5 compared to looping tiles vs the many different killers in the game.
Keep in mind I mained several killers for many hours before blight.
Yeah Dead Hard is boring to play against just like double speed Blight.
-
Dead Hard was unfair because:
1- It gives survivor a 1 second Sprint Burst
2- it stuns the killer( Successful hit cool-down)
3- Can be used for mind gaming around pallets.
4- Can be used for body blocking
5- Can be used with Stiptic Agent and Syringe to give a survivor FIVE HEALTH STATES!!
6- Counters T3 Myers
But If you used Dead Hard against The Blight then it is fine because Blight is an extremely busted killer.
-
@SeaFlower said:
First of all, winstreaks are irrelevant.
Second of all, Momo is a frequent comp player and plays way more than Alf does. Of course Momo is going to have a bigger winstreak. It’s not like Alf couldn’t do the same. Alf just doesn’t want to do constant nonstop winstreak only.
Blight is 115 because his power cannot be used on every single tile in the game.
You are 100% a blight main.

@GannTM said:
Spirit still has some busted add ons though lol. The word “had” should not be used in this instance. Spirit and Blight both need add on nerfs.
What’s her busted add-ons?
-
Now do it again without speed add-ons xD
The add-ons combined with the ridiculously quick recharge time are carrying the player not his skill.
I watched Lilith Omen who has 3K hours on Blight play without add-ons and 3 people got out without being hooked once.

BHVR already said they were going to change Blight, when they chimed in on posts re: Blight movement exploits last year. It's just a matter of how much and when they're going to do it. As far as I remember, McLean, who designed Blight, tried to fix him before he left, but "failed to do so." <-- His words. I'm sure they can do it, but it's also going to take a lot of resources too. I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the environment more and collision in general before they mess with Blight.
Oh no… so if McLean was the one who coded the Blight then only him can understand the code written. If they were to do anything for blight, they would have to recode the entire killer from ground up because the guy left the company. That explains why they never touched him for years hahahaha.

This is by far the best update ever.

Why do killer perks allways need to have a down side. Its like i m saying med Kits give survivors a huge advantage with no down side at all med Kits need to be nerfed. Why do killer addons need to have a down side but survivors addons are fine without one?
Medkits now can only heal a survivor twice per match which is pretty good for killer.
-
I agree. 4 man SWF is too much but a lot of times when you play duo or trio you get HORRIBLE RANDOMS that waste pallets, DC, or kill themselves on hook.
-
QUIZ:
There is only one gen in this map if you poped it, the killer will no longer be able to hold a 3 gen. Do you know where it’s located?
-

Dear Devs,
Some Blight add-ons gives his power massive advantage with no downside at all. The blight has barely any cooldown after a missed Rush Attack. So if you successfully dodged his Rush Attack you have tiny bit of time to make it to a pallet or window.
The Blight with his massive movement speed add-ons grants him the ability to roam across the map super quickly and randomly find and hit survivors by an accident.
My suggestions for Blight is to rework his speed add ons and maybe reduce his base movement speed to 4.4m/s since killers with high alternate movement speed should have low base movement speed. Making the Blight reliant on his power to down survivors and punish him for missed Rush Attacks.
Also, Killers like Pyramid Head, The Huntress, The Nurse ,The Hillbilly, The Cannibal, The Deathslinger, The Twins, are all Punished if they missed their hits except for the Blight…

Amulet is an extra 3.5s which is pretty nuts and increases recharge rate by 70%
Talisman is an extra 1s with and 20% increase to recharge
What?? How Talisman increase her recharge by 20%??
And How is that ONE SECOND EXTRA duration is bothering you?

Only if spirit didn't have the most busted addons in the game with duration that ALSO increases recharge rate better than most of her recharge addons. Spirit needs nerfs/reworks more than anything else specifically to most of her addons. They can increase basekit for sure after doing so.
Do you know how long her duration add ons last?
-
I heard rumors that the boss of BHVR is a blight main. Maybe that’s why all killers add ons are moderate except for Blight?

Yes, she got way better since Iron will nerf.
Just keep using short bursts with your power, don't use everything at once.
Your MMR is low. Comeback and comment after finishing around 25 games.

Your skill is low.
Spirit really doesn't need any buffs.
She even got better with healing nerf.
Do you play Spirit?

Before the patch dropped, I played spirit mainly with yellow addons. As it dropped, I changed them to brown ones, because I felt the game being too easy (exceptions do exists, like badham is still not super easy).
As this patch dropped, I am expecting heavy nerfs to 3 best killers in game - spirit being #3 in that list. There's literally no room for any buffs to her
You have to keep playing her after maybe 25 games then come back and comment.

The Update is 10/10
-
DH? Good riddance. I hate this perk.
Because with nerfed Spirit and Nerfed Nurse Dead Hard was insanely overpowerd. As spirit I have to wait another 15 seconds to hit them again which was SUPER PUNISHING.
FOUR HEALTH STATES?!! REALLY?!!!
But the biggest winner here is Blight… he can almost immediately get his power back so Dead Hard didn’t really hurt Blight as much as Nurse and Spirit.
-
I got 200,000 Bloodpoints! Thanks for posting the code here! : )
-
Thats what you get for not relying on skills but relying perks to carry you.
And yes blight add ons need to be slammed with a sledge hammer. Blight mains are bots and rely on their add ons to carry them just like Dead Hard on survivors.

Except they do. There have been tournaments with very little limitations where Artist, Wesker and Oni WON against some of the best teams in the WORLD.
Actually, in the case of Artist, she was the one that was limited in terms of perks for a brief period. Pain Resonance and DMS were so oppressive on her in competitive that the combination was banned.
I don't understand why people bring up the 'competitive' argument when they have no idea how it even works. The killers you mentioned are viable even without many/any restrictions.
I kind of have to agree with the personal cope thing said earlier. It feels like people's shortcomings are being projected in a skill level they definitely do not have to feel better. It leads to a lot of misinformation and resentment.
EDIT: My opinion on the topic. Blight is likely untouched due to biases in development. Less so because the devs are 'mains' than probably because the dev that led this character's creation has since left the company and was widely respected. There's a good chance there's a lack of desire to change what was left. Although I'm 100% convinced there is seedy bias among decision makers since some killers get disproportionate buffs/nerfs compared to others.
In tournaments there are rules to be followed.
In pubs there are no rules so you see map offerings, insta heals, 4 Dead Hard …
-
Drop on a pallet and when the killer picks you up stun them again with a pallet and run away xD
You can also use unbreakable as an anti tunneling perk if you dropped on a pallet just let your teammate distract the killer while you recover fast.
-
I play with my friends and some days we get try hard Blights and Nurses with 5K hours and some days we get Micheal Myers with 100 hours.
-
I like going against Leatherface, Freddy, Clown, Hillbilly.
I hate going against Skull Merchant and The Huntress (Unpredictable hit box)

She lost her entire character theme. She was supposed to be able to turn invisible, to be sneaky and make survivors guess where she is.
And even when people complain about MDR, why would we want to use MDR, that makes her go faster, which we could just pick Blight instead and not need to deal with invisible survivors?
Blight is probably one of the biggest issues for Spirit’s pick rate. Because of Spirit’s directional audio, Spirit has to just brute force hits with speed, which is what Blight does…. and Blight can see survivors, scratchmarks, and pools of blood.
I’m a high MMR survivor I rarely see spirit it’s always Blight,Nurse, Huntress and Trapper.
I also play spirit and my god without MDR and DCB she is impossible to beat good survivors.
I would say Spirit with MDR and DCB can be the strongest killer in the game and without them she is the THE WORST killer in the game.

I’d say she’s invincible.
This gotta be a joke. When you tell me she is invincible but know exactly where she is.Seriously? How is she invincible?
-
I think the directional sound and intensity is what killed the spirit. She is now too easy to be stunned out of her power by a pallet on top of that she moves at 4.4m/s. Not good.
Her add-ons in the past were too strong I agree with that but changing her base kit was an overkill.
Now her power is useless as well as her add ons.
-
I don’t blame you. Limiting survivors to only heal themselves twice per trial? That’s harsh!
-
run to his guard and press dead hard it always works because guards don’t respect dead hard lol
-
What server you play in?
-
Bring brand new part it can solve the problem easy.

Basekit corrupt would do wonders to help the balance of the game.
What corrupt does is it makes the map smaller for the killer by not having to spend too much time just by walking to the generators.
