Ok - so you have won 90% of your games with the new killer? Can you post your recent stats?
Sure, here are my recent Vecna stats with a decent 12 hour sample size. Sorry that your gotcha didn’t work.

Hey another Us vs them~
Not only Killer "mains" spoke themself out against this but survivor mains aswell. The first atempt was much better only needed some tweaking at the hook numbers.
By the way since we go back to ground 0 nothing has changed at all. Survivor didn´t get harder at all its just as bad as it has been before~
”Just as bad as before” is still bad. You’re also ignoring the fact that devs want to make maps weaker for survivors again based on… wait for it… content creators outcry!
-
The bugs dont really matter, he's just fundamentally too powerful.
-
Yes. Any non-biased player will know that current Houndmaster is wildly overtuned.

She's B tier at best. This is a skill issue, sorry to say.
B tier in your hands, sure. When the best killer players in the game are calling for her to be nerfed, it sounds like the skill issue is actually on you.
-
Compensation? Killers have BEEN getting compensation patch after patch, lol.
-
You're just bad. Killer is the strongest it's been.

And the extreme amounts of generator progression speed run the Killer experience in 2v8 if Survivors even remotely SWF up and try. Your point?
I’ve had no issues as killer in 2v8, especially when there’s a blight in the team. Sounds like a skill issue to me.
-
Cope and stop tunneling. Devs already favor your side enough as is. We don't need more survivor nerfs, ESPECIALLY not to anti tunnel.

Please call things their names.
In particular, you're talking about "slugging for 4k" rather than slugging in general.
It should be addressed, preferably alongside cheap hatch/gates mechanic.
Nope, I mean slugging in general! Slugging for the 4k just happens to be a specific instance of it.
-
Have you tried not camping?
-
Devs almost did this, but guess who complained. Killer mains. Their favorite.
-
Devs just show time and time again how little they actually care about the survivor experience. Sacrificing our fun for a 10 second mori animation that the killer mains will eat up.
-
What? Sloppy is still strong, especially on stealth hit and run. The perk was nerfed for a reason, we don’t need old sloppy back.
-
Over the past few years the devs have been slowly but surely making map design more killer sided. Look at haddonfield, coldwind, ormond, basically any map that received a recent major rework. And don’t even get me started on the new maps. Vecna’s map is AWFUL for survivor especially if the killer just holds the upstairs area
-
Toolboxes and medkits were both over nerfed.
I guess if I had to choose one though, buff medkits.

So his vampire form doesn't have big charge-up and cooldown times for Hellfire, making it super punishing to miss? His wolf form isn't dependent on getting orbs just to feel faster than 110%, and doesn't become slug speed by simply walking backwards? And his bat form lets him know exactly where the survivors are, and doesn't take away your sight of them for no reason?
What is even the argument? That he's stronger than Nurse?
- What “big charge up”? Are we playing the same killer?
- Wolf is 115% by default. Faster with orbs.
- Use your ears. Bat is like spirit with a shorter cooldown. Yes he can’t instahit out of it but he has hellfire to make up for that.
Also just reminded me of the fact that hellfire SHREDS through basekit BT.
-
And yet forum killers will still cry about DS being OP at 4 seconds.

But we're specifically talking about the community, IE: These forums.
It’s almost like other portions of the dbd community exist outside of the forums. Reddit, twitter, etc.
I don’t know why you’re assuming so much based off a forum join date. Really strange behavior if you ask me. -

nah the part that was complained was its use in the endgame
Yup, and that also got patched out.

@ChaosWam said:
It was complained about, everyone collectively forgot after the nerf.
It was complained about BEFORE they made it remove on conspicuous actions. After that everybody pretty much agreed the perk was a balanced anti-tunneling perk. Then they nerfed it to 3 seconds which most people at the time agreed was not necessary.
Why are people trying to rewrite the story now? lol

Wesker: 8% hindred after 90s
Clown: 15% hindred basekit and 19% with the addon.
Let that sink in.
FYI: A PH can tunnel and camp with pain res, pop, deadlock and hardly loose a gen and instant getting a tunneled person into the next stage via a cage ignoring any anti-tunnel options there are. PH is fine while getting tunneled while tormented is not. If they step in goo and not go around, blame the survivor, but not if they are tunneled.
Wesker has one of the best chase powers in the game ON TOP of hindered. The wesker has to be pretty bad to not get a quick down when the survivor is fully infected.
-
I agree, even the best wesker players will tell you that the infection mechanic is too oppressive. Infection should be reduced to like 5% hindered and should not go up in chase.

It wasn't free, you have to force survivors off gens to get use out of it. It is actually more skillful than pain res or pop ever was.
Walking up to a gen is more skillful than downing and hooking people?
-
No thanks. Keep free, passive regression as far away from the meta as possible.
-
MFT is fine, maybe just get better? I play mostly low tier killers and don't even have issues, I can't imagine how easy it is for top tiers like wesker or blight.
-
Killers are already the power role, they don't need to be buffed further.
-
Skill issue, just wait it out.

I... I can't even read the fourms without laughing anymore.
Whats next? Does plague need nerfs too?
Spirit has 2 good addons. The others are small stat boosters or just utter trash!
Blight's addons are slightly overpowered if the player is skilled, but they don't need heavy nerfs!
I don't understand how some people feel this entitled...
Almost ALL of spirit’s addons are good. And, despite that, I’m only asking for the very best one to be nerfed. Is that really so unreasonable?
-
She’s pretty oppressive on Autohaven maps, and any map with a lot of short loops (like Huntress). It makes it really easy to get downs with corrupt purge.
-
OTR is the closest thing to old DS, but OTR is much, MUCH easier to deal with for killers than old DS. It’s why tunneling is so broken and out of control at the moment. Just slap people insantly off the hook and OTR is gone. On top of that, they can’t use dead hard.
This is why kill rates are so ridiculously high at the moment. Survivors have no defense against tunneling.

did you have any proof of your statement? (and no, i WON'T CONSIDER STATS AS KILLRATE RELIABLE since they won't tell you the truth about the course of the match) because since when i started playing this game (2019) the game became WORSE than before (back in those days i could chill, even as killer, now it's always a tryhard fest)
“Do you have any proof? Oh by the way I won’t accept actual proof.”
Seriously? What other “proof” am I supposed to give besides official stats? Do you think someone’s subjective experience is more factual than objective data?

Uh, yes it is. Especially with co-ordination to bring multiple of them. And perk synergies
MDR just needs something to specifically stop it from synergising with DCB; the entire concept of BNP is flawed because they can still knock off an entire objective pretty much immediately--it'd be like one random survivor starting the game on death hook.
But this logic is ridiculous. "Okay, you nerfed one Killer, now go do the others; ignore nerfing equally problematic Survivor items and add-ons, or buffing the weak Killers, just go around making sure all the good things one side has are gone first".
Considering that killer is currently in the strongest state it has ever been, and survivor (especially solo) is at its weakest, it should in fact to a priority to nerf the broken things from the killer side first.
You're derailing the conversation to focus on unrelated issues. This conversation is about spirit and blight addons and whether or not they are fair. It is not about survivor addons.

is her being stronger now the reason you see her way less now than before?
Spirit has hardly moved at all in terms of strength. But the community has indulged the delusion that she was gutted, so you see her less.
-
@Entitled_survivor said:
Spirit did get an add-on nerf already, they won't be touching her anytime soon and they shouldn't,, you already know where she comes from now
Her addon "nerf" left mother daughter ring completely untouched and introduced the cherry blossom, which actually makes her STRONGER than before.
-
@RainehDaze said:
Ah yes, "balance" only by going around making sure every Killer loses any remotely good option they have.
How about something far more pressing and ridiculous first, like BNP? That's a single addon and not an entire pass.
Ah, classic whataboutism.
Not that BNP is anywhere near as broken as the addons I mentioned, anyways.
-
Killer is the strongest it has ever been. It doesn't need buffs.
-
All the killer mains defending this meta were the same ones who were complaining about old dead hard being uncounterable. Uncounterable perks are only an issue when it affects killers I guess.
