You really can't compare a genuine exploit to simple differences in input methods & a lack of controller settings that would make so many more killers playable on controller.
Oh I'm not denying that Oni 180 tech should be patched, im simply stating that OP's lack of description makes the argument seem like it is only about keyboard and mouse
-
I mean you could make this "argument" for every killer since mouse and keyboard is better than controller for killer
-
Regardless of opinions of how good the mode actually is, you would be lying to yourself if you think it isn't gonna eventually be permanent
-
Sometimes I wish I could bring a ward as a survivor

its meant to be used with addons for aura reading effects. It has more charges than purple, but cant open hatch...which is basically the only thing purple CAN do with so few charges.
Except that goes all out the window when you get it from a chest with no addons
-
What does the green key even do nowadays
-
I have to say it really does suck that Nurse ruins a lot of potential fun and useful perks
-
Assuming the game isn't cpu bound on PS5, which i don't think it is, then it's possible they could make a 120fps performance mode with the extra 45% gpu power
-
As of the most recent patch the perk is no longer bugged
-
Wow that's pretty bad, it reminds me of the Crypt TV cosmetic for the Huntress where her weapon covers a third of the screen

yup but it wasn’t just killers. Other survivors were doing it to grief their teammates.
Makes me wonder if they are going to do anything about the upstairs gen in Hawkins lab as it is essentially the same setup

Wouldn't the other survivors just finish the gens in that scenario though? Although it's possible I feel like this is an unlikely situation to happen.
Yes, but bodyblocking like that would be considered reportable
-
I assume so, and I also assume its being added because killers could hold survivors hostage in that room indefinitely
-
IDK Wesker in the easiest tier seems wrong imo, it is incredibly easy to miss with his power. Meanwhile Myers is literally hold M2
-
Oh holy Grade Based Matchmaking, hear our calls and destroy the vile evil SBMM

Yes, one is worse than the other. No question. There's just no need to state than bleeding someone out for four minutes is fine, because survivors can potentially do worse to the killer.
I've said before that there needs to be a system to stop survivors from hiding and not progressing the game. I still believe that. But when people say it's fine to do a full bleed out, it's clear that they just want their tools to grief others kept intact, so they can use those tools against whoever offends them.
I agree, bleeding out is not fun and when/if BHVR can come up with a way that fairly balances it for both sides I will support that
-

So when survivors waste your time, it's hostage taking. But when you waste their time by bleeding them out, it's not. It might be worse on the killer's end, but it's still the same crap.
I'm not gonna defend Killers that slug everyone for all the matches they play, but holding someone hostage for 4 minutes, vs holding them hostage for 60 minutes until the server automatically closes are pretty different offenses
-
I remember when that hook didn't exist and I faced a duo running boil over, fun times /s
-
They also purposely do a lot of the spam on the weekend since it's more likely that the posts don't get taken down right away which is incredibly annoying

They shouldn't have nerfed Pyramid heads butt though when they show off every other females butt in this game. lol
They nerf Pyramid head's butt, yet Demogorgon is straight up naked >:p
-
I mean I think DBD is pretty equal in its presentation of "hot" skins. Have you seen Felix's abs?
-
I like a lot of what was said here, being encouraged to stalk everyone, stalk refilling, the ability to manually tier up without doing so accidentally. All that being said my one constructive point would be to still remove tombstone piece. There is no reason for a killer to have an insta kill addon in 2024. The days of 2016 DBD are far behind us
-
Dealing with hackers is always an ongoing battle, in regards to hackers being exclusive to PC, because of how this game's crossplay system works, you aren't "safe" from hackers even on console. That being said don't let the infrequent appearance of a hacker deter you from playing the game
-
I wonder if Deathslinger and Spirit will struggle in 2v8 simply because of the increased player count. Way more survivors can go for chain breaks on teammates shot by slinger, and Spirit is gonna have a tough time hearing specific survivors. Blight I have no doubt will be a menace though
-
Was the initial announcement of him getting changed back in 2023? Feels bad man
-
I could be wrong but this sounds like your mouse is missclicking? When i had a broken mouse it would double click quite a bit

to me, looping Oni is little bit like looping blight. there is specific Los tricks that you can use to create 50/50's and even if player knows 180 flick tech, a lot of them mess it up. i don't really find much challenge in playing vs Oni, somewhat very mediocre killer.
the only time i feel like Oni provides any challenge is when he proxy camp with his ability and like demon rushes around hooks and like slug unhookers before you can unhook. they buffed hook timer from 60 →70 second so it is probably easier to defeat these type of Oni player's. Other than that, i feel like every game i play vs Oni is like 3 man out.
My understanding of Op's question was if a good player was using the killer lol
-

Nurse or Chucky. I find one-trick chucky player to be hardest to loop.

idk, i feel like any time i play vs Oni, the player isn't very good at using demon dash. Like they usually just lose their entire ability power for chasing me. so I find him easy to loop.
Are they not dpi shifting? I find against good oni's it is basically impossible to loop at certain tiles thanks to that
-
If you count powers, then blood fury Oni

Wow. I'm waiting at least 10 minutes for killer and when I play survivor my lobby is usually empty then we play musical chairs with survivors.
That is definitely a region problem for sure
-
Wait BHVR owns Red Hook now?? I don't mean to sound the alarm bells but I don't want them to do to Red Hook what they just did to the studio that developed Project T
-
I personally haven't noticed a drop in survivors at all, my queue times are under 30 seconds for both Killer and Survivor.
-
Dbd matchmaking can be bad but that seems exceptionally bad. It's possible the region you are in doesn't have a lot of players and that's why you get players who are brand new to the game. Most of the survivors I get are in the 2-3k hour range but I play US East
-
I never like 'us vs them' posts. HOWEVER, I will say that in my few thousand hours of playing and from my own personal anecdotal experience playing with other survivors and as killer, I have found Survivors way more likely to spew salt in the endgame than killers. Once again though this is my own experience and I'm sure it's different for others
-
Clearly no Dracula has ever given you Dog nods
-
Definitely not, like clockwork for me after about 8pm I get 100% killer bonus every night

I don’t even own Dredge but I hat to pick both submissions since they’re so good. Sad Claudette isn’t getting nothing but I’ll be okay as long as Sable loses.
I know it would be better to pick three different killers for variety but I also had to vote for both Dredge skins, they were far and away the best skins of the lot IMO

What you mean by lobby shopping?
Some people seem to think that Prestige equals skills, because of that many killers upon seeing high prestige lobbies would leave, increasing queue times for both the survivors and killers

I have a feeling Islands of Insight is in danger of being axed as well due to how much they prioritised developing the Offline Mode.
Considering just now I had to google what that game was and had no idea it existed, and I have played thousands of hours of DBD, I'm gonna guess you are correct.
-
I'm gonna guess that Meet Your Maker is on the chopping block next unfortunately.
-
BHVR said themselves the reason they removed it was to prevent lobby shopping
-
I would expect Plague to just get straight nerfs, and for Cenobite to have his box nerfed and his chains buffed
-
It's obvious Balloon Boy is gonna be the chapter's killer /s

I have not faced a Dredge yet (nor played as it in this mode) but it seems the tracker killers have an advantage.
Playing against legion in this game mode is actually pain
-
I think everybody is finishing the tome and then dipping lmao and I don't blame them
-
I am definitely in favor of this game mode NEVER returning. Even after this 2.0 update the game mode is horrible. I'd rather any of the other modes come back, including my little oni which arguably has little replay value
-
The boring thing about this mode is you will only play as or against two killers, Leatherface and Legion
-
I'm still confused are they still re-reworking her? Like are these changes supposed to be here until that re-rework or are they not touching her again?

I'll be the hot take person - I prefer the old version because I like knowing what resources are available to survivors when chasing them to a tile and having an idea if they'll commit to a tile or try to LoS and break chase by continuing to hold W. The new version is okay but it's basically I'm All Ears but for pallets. I don't like it.
In fact out of everything in the developer update this was the only thing I didn't like.
The old version was great for Clown, in fact that one Clown main is gonna have to rewrite his guide lmao
