  • I for one am always up for more dracula cosmetics. I agree on her and I would love a classic Christopher Lee style Dracula as well.

  • I get that. I did a springtrap match yesterday. I had a lot of good chases with him and felt like I was getting the hang of it. In he chased me in the end game and got me. However all my teammates escaped and the killer got a mori. I feel like that is a pretty good result for everyone. I enjoyed that match.

  • To be honest I do feel like the game should be a least a little bit killer sided. Not by a ton heck even like a 55 45 situation. DBD is at its core a horror game and therefore you should fear the killer. It also makes surviving feel better. I agree the challenge should feel fair but yeah a little killer sided isn't nessicarly a bad thing.

  • I'd be curious to see a game mode where you have no perks, no items and no special abilities just straight chase.

  • I haven't played 2v8 mostly because of the wait and also I would get nervous at messing it up for the other killer because I'm new. The idea does appeal to me though. The idea of playing around with other people and seeing what killers work well together.

  • Personally I'm surprised that we are 9 years in and there is no werewolf yet. You don't need it to be licensed. They could have a howl ability which would be similar to the doctors shock and reveal survivors. That or when you injure a survivor they become infected. If they are not healed quickly then can either howl, revealing their location or attack nearby survivors. This could lead to survivors having to figure out if they can heal them fast enough or should they avoid them entirely.

  • That's awesome. I love the idea of more folklore inspired creatures. I'm personally attached to the berbelang. It is a corpse eating creature from the Philippines. I thought it could have a tunneling ability and pop out of the ground to get survivors, sort of a mix of nurse and Ghostface.

  • I'm a Dracula main for sure and honestly I feel he is pretty well balanced so I wouldn't change much. Maybe with the bat instead of a teleport ability you can use echo location and identify survivors in a radius but the survivor hears it and gets a notification that they have been spotted.

  • Im for the idea of anti tunnel measures being put in place and definetly the anti slugging measures. I do think the "before six hook" penalty might be a little steep but we will see. They are really just trying new things and that is good for the game. If it goes too far the other way they can adjust. Since the change I've had mixed results. I've had a 4k match and a couple where I got no kills but hey it was like that before the change too. Overall it's not too bad so far.

  • Still don't think DBD is that meta based even with the update.

  • Interesting list but not sure if I agree fully. The idea that there are only 6 good killers is a huge stretch. I've gotten perfect matches with both hag and doctor recently. It's all about the match and how you use them.

  • I know this is a Philippines legend but I would love to see a berbelang killer in the game. The berbelang is a corpse eating creature that both can tunnel beneath ground and fly with great bat like wings. Either ability would be cool as outside of Dracula's bat form we haven't got a flying killer though it could be over powered.

  • It's an unfortunate reality of many video games. Many people feel the need to gloat or degrade others and while very sad there isn't always something you can do. If someone teabags just ignore it or use it to your advantage. If you get a rude post game message, delete it and focus on the players who don't act like that. Honestly it doesn't surprise me that a game where one of the main goals is to hang people on meat hooks tends to bring out some of the worst type of people.

  • As much as a Star Wars fan I complely agree that it wouldn't fit dbd. Even the deathtroopers (again big fan) wouldn't quite work. Now a dbd inspired game mode in something like battlefront hell yeah! Just imagine a game where you are trying to avoid vader or the ghost of darth bane.

  • Oh I definetly had trouble with killer when I first started. I found it impressive if I could put one survivor on one hook in a match. This game has a learning curve for sure (I'm still working out the blood web system) but it is legitimately fun to learn. That is the best thing I can say about this game. It is really fun. I don't really care about rankings and stats, I just want to have a fun game. Also has anyone had what they would call a "true horror movie moment"? I remember one game as Drac a survivor was fixing a gen and I was in wolf form outside the window. I leapt through the window just as they turned and I downed them with a powerful lunge. I know it's simple but I love the slow mo when the wolf leaps through a window.

  • My question in regards to tunneling penalties is who would they know or enforce it. For example what if a killer just happens to run into the same survivor multiple times? Are they supposed to say "Oh well I've hooked them twice, I don't want to get in trouble." Also we have all encounted survivors that deliberately engage with the killer for bold points or just to be funny/rude. I'm not saying tunneling can't be a problem if they are constantly targeting the same player over multiple matches or simply ignoring easy downs to chase that one person. I just feel it would be very difficult to fairly implement.

  • For Dracula I would love to see a more classic (lugosi/lee) character design. For non licensed maybe since the trapper is partially inspired by Jason they could have a cyborg version of the character with shocking traps.

  • For a second i was thinking in D&D terms and thought you meant a killer who can disguise themselves as a generator (honestly you could have a lot of fun with that one). Maybe a killer that is a shape shifter and can take the form of another player for a limited time. Maybe there could be a clue that if you got close enough their eyes would be yellow or something.

  • The fact that you can have a team consisting of Lara Croft, Ash Williams, Nic Cage and Steve is one of the reasons I love this game so much. It's like the weirdest fan fictions brought to life and that's everything.

this version in particular is from the franchise Castlevania and it’s by far my favorite iteration of the character so when he came out, it was basically an immediate cop for me.

I'm more classic but I would love to play some castlevania someday. Does anyone know if the dlc's go on sale at all. I am considering the castlevania dlc but I thought if maybe they went on sales or bundles I could wait a bit like maybe halloween time.

  • Out of curiosity what do you mean by tone down killers and why would a killer need to be banned.

  • I'm new to the game and only have the basic characters but from what I've seen I get a lot of this list. My killer main is the wraith. I love turning invisible and ringing the bell just to creep people out. I really want to get dracula though just because I'm a huge fan of the character.
