Understandable, have a nice day.
-
Ya know, normally I wouldn't be against this kind of thing, because people pick a character and stick with them as survivor (no reason not to), but knowing I would see more location offerings because they're coming from 3 prestige levels of characters up to 35 times makes me kinda not want it.
-
I'm just genuinely convinced you've put ten hours into the game.
Which, not a bad thing for the record, but trust me. Michael sucks and arguably should have certain add-ons buffed or something. Not the insta kill stuff obviously, but something that would justify making those weaker.
-
I have to be honest.
Michael Myers is too strong is...uh...certainly a take.
I can only imagine you frothing at the mouth when Nurse shows up.

Killer standing on hatch means you should probably do gens, youre the one holding the game hostage at that point
Adding onto this, I'm surprised Survivor holding the game hostage by not going through the hatch isn't mentioned in the same post.
If we're really considering the opposite an issue.

How about we add a perk that stops killers from crying over the dumbest things?
You got rolled by them and they're celebrating. GG Go Next.
Who knows, maybe you will get a little echo chamber of other killers in here and you can all complain together 😉
There is an end game chat you can celebrate in.
There is literally no reason you have to waste someone else's life over it.
-
They should literally just use old DS but keep the deactivation on EGC.
That's literally all they needed to do.
-
Do you want an I Win button too my liege?
-
I have to be honest, with how often I see survivors being toxic pricks, I don't feel bad about it.
Might start doing it myself if it wasn't so boring.

Who you talkin to?
OP post.
-
Why avoiding the killer is a smart thing to do, you shouldn't be rewarded more than the people putting themselves at risk when you aren't.
-
Why the hell are you working on the same generator as someone else?
And your answer better be "Well there's only one left."
-
The UI was changed to help close the gap between solo and SWF. The sooner that's done, the sooner we can balance around it.
So quit with the "My life is unfair" nagging.
-
I'm kind of getting tired mentioning that the devs have recently said that they're looking into solutions for the Blood Web Spending crisis.
Maybe wait until they say what their idea is or something.

Rotten Fields is definitely not stacked against survivors. Pale Rose, Sanctum of Wrath, and old Shelter Woods are the only ones that fit that category, imho.
That cornfield though.
I've lost survivors as the tallest killers in the game on that map. God help you if you're Onryo and you're sent there.
-
It's just a bad idea.
Why fix what isn't broken?
-
lol no?
If you want to have no dead zones then use your The Game offerings.
Pallets are the ammo you have as a defense against the killer. If you run out of ammo, you can't just make more out of thin air.

Cut the map size in half, and remove the ######### infinite they decided to introduce for some stupid reason!

You obviously did not read my comment.
Someone was criticizing your DC and your stubbornness and said "Disconnecting during the EGC is so goofy. 😂 JUST. PUSH. THEM. OUT."
I was saying that the survivors are also being stubborn, "Butt dancing in the exit is so goofy. 😂JUST. WALK. OUT."
I want a concede option too, but I'm not sticking around for this friendly fire nonsense.
I'm sorry, the 24 hour ban for not wanting to deal with this horse ######### is greatly upsetting. Just ignore what I said before I guess.

Survivors waste players time, good.
Killers waste players time, bad.

Not sure why you're quoting me. Did you even read my comment (in relation to the comment I quoted)?
Yes. I did.
Again, it is faster to not tolerate the circle jerk than it is to go to each exit and walk in the center of it.

I only teabag exit gate if killer was toxic.. but I’m a killer main so I don’t play survivor much. Teabgging the exit gate does not bother me at all. I walk in, they leave, I go next. It’s that simple.
I'm happy for you over literal hours of your life not being wasted by survivor mains.

It’s your job to stop them from winning, which obviously you failed to do if they are teabagging in the gate.
Magically… if you walk into the gate, survivors will walk out and end the game… crazy concept innit?
It's faster to DC than it is to walk to each gate and check the butt dancers.

Butt dancing in the exit is so goofy. 😂JUST. WALK. OUT.
It is seriously as easy as that. If you're so stubborn about gloating only when you're in a position where you cannot possibly lose, then take a screen shot and spend those 2 minutes posting it on Twitter instead.
I don't care about the fact that I lost. It's when the other side wants to jerk over it and rub your face in their work that it becomes ridiculous and stupid. And the fact that it is every ######### day is unbearable.
Be a humble winner. Just ######### leave.
Also now have a 24 hour ban because I don't want to tolerate people wanking over their wins.
Why are you people like this and defending this ######### behavior.
-
There's a perk that inflicts Broken for a minute if they take a protection hit. Worth considering.
-
Go onto a forum.
Post a confusing question.
Refuse to elaborate.
Leave.

It is seriously as easy as that. If you’re so easily triggered by them indulging in their victory over you, then don’t play PVP games.
No, you're right, I should just walk into the circle jerk so I have an excuse to take a shower and wash my clothes of disgusting unspeakables.
I'm sorry, why the ######### is it my job to make you win?

Still waiting on the Cross Progression promise for Switch BHVR.
It was the entire reason I bought the Switch version in the first place BHVR.
FEELS LIKE YOU SCAMMED ME, BHVR!

So when you're at the end of a game and two people are still alive, if one of them goes down the likelihood of both of them escaping basically drop down to 0. If the killer slugs one of them, they should be given the option to die on the spot not only to benefit themselves but to benefit the teammate. They get picked up and hooked, they can just let themselves die for the same reasons as is.
Survivors should be given the option if all of them are down too, maybe checking if anyone has unbreakable or not but probably not be a prerequisite because chances are it's a lost cause anyways. Anything that isn't just a "get out of jail and screw my teammates" card.
And there's literally no reason killer can't quit when everyone's in the exit gate so it's frustrating to be punished for it. If killer wants to use a power to pull people back in or prevent people leaving then they have the option to do that. Same for going around breaking stuff. But it's ridiculous that it's not an option.
-
I'm not going to step in the middle of a circle jerk.
It's not hard to be a humble winner. You just hold W in the right direction.

If you don't have TTV in your name then you have 0 say in that matter.
Before I had TTV in my name I wasn't tunnelled this much and I play exactly the same then as I do now.
You're right how dare I see something in what you said and apply basic logic to it
-
Hello, yes, daily Autodidact user here.
Ya'll are overestimating how bad it is.
You bring Empathy and go to anyone glowing yellow that's nearby and not being chased, and you heal.
You get 5 stacks, and healing takes like 5 seconds unless the game doesn't want to give you a skill check.
It needs some build up but it's terrifying when it's ready.
It does not need a buff.

We don't have anonymous mode on PC. I once looked at a killers stream after being tunnelled and he could see my name clearly on the left side of the screen even with the only option we have on console "hide your name" being turned on. So it doesn't even do what it's supposed to do lol.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3372281#Comment_3372281
That's a false statement buddy, I played for about 9 hours yesterday, I was literally tunnelled all night lol. 9 games in a row (as soon as I got on) with the killer targeting me first, and one of those games the killer was a TTV killer, he ignored everyone else, allowed them to unhook me while he stood there in front of the hook (swinging in thin air telling them to unhook me BTW), then started chasing me instantly off the hook. This allowed me to drag the chase to a 5 gen but by the end of it all I got a +1.. I should be getting a +2 if the killer is acting in such a way and the killer should not benefit from it.
Then, I purposely started using chase/anti-tunnelling perks, DS OTR, DH, WOO, and purposely spamming windows at the start.. guess what? the killers started to ignore me and leave me for the end of the game, so there is definitely something up with this set up of perks in connotation to not being tunnelled out the game.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3372315#Comment_3372315
You have to put it there yourself, but each name change costs money, it's cheap, like 9 pounds or something like that. I shouldn't need to remove a name in general though man, I should expect a game to have a basic setting that exists in almost every single other game out there. That's not too much to ask is it?
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3372319#Comment_3372319
The whole point of having TTV in my name is publicity, not to be tunnelled. I play a HUGE variety of games and just because I am getting tunnelled on DBD and treated differently on there it shouldn't mean I have to go out of my way to spend money and change my name because some sad people want to go after some invisible TTV killer title.
"I purposely started using chase/anti-tunnelling perks, DS OTR, DH, WOO, and purposely spamming windows at the start.. guess what? the killers started to ignore me and leave me for the end of the game"
It looks like someone saw that you wanted to be chased and decided not to chase you.
Which is normal behavior because people that want to be chased tend to not suck at it.
It is not a "I have TTV in my name" thing.
-
How's the game supposed to tell the difference between me tunneling someone and me punishing someone for being a human shield for their rescuer?
-
We should put all of our efforts into this animation that literally doesn't affect the game instead of the bugs and other issues.
-
I don't think so.
Survivors have to go into the killer zone to win, and survivors will do everything in their power to make sure the killer has to go into their zone to get a hook. Killer might get damage in, but now you have to hit them a second time, and there they go zip zooming to their side of the map.
-
I can start being fun and casual when people decide they don't need to brag about every little win because they beat Clown with the sweatiest perks possible.
-
I too would like to take any strong perks away from killers so that their threat level is that of a toothless poodle.
-
Equip Empathy and go to anything yellow that's not being chased.
-
@Halloulle said:
You need to elaborate on that one.
CoH is at its strongest when it's placed in a generator dead zone. A place a killer would never go to unless they've already practically won the game, don't know how to play, or don't care about throwing the game.
Typical (and the only right way to play to be honest) Knight and Skull Merchant play styles revolves around selecting the easiest to defend gens and defending only those gens, refusing to leave them at the expense of all other gens on the map.
Both are about making a zone on the map where if the other side goes into it for too long, then they lose.
@Hi_Im_Chucky said:
I saw a less known streamer point this out too, but…more clearly. They don’t mean CoH, they mean boon totems, it’s just CoH is so common they are probably calling all boon totems that. Also im not adding Knight. SM is basically just dropping movable boon totems around the map. Once it was pointed out to me, I couldn’t unsee it lol.
Just area of effects that bring different ways to affect those inside, based off add-on build.
I specify CoH because it's the only perk that doesn't require the killer to be nearby to get the most value out of it. Dark Theory and Shadow step can get some use out of the killer not being there but is much more useful in a chase, and unless the killer downs you near it often enough you might get Exponential value one time in the best situations.

@killeriseasy said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3371826#Comment_3371826
But see I like the game and I like most killers
Then play the game and take the fact that you will have to deal with killers you don't like.
-
Being able to bring any perk only a single time would still not give CoH the nerf it needs.
-
Camping is literally the only strategy you have left if you don't kill enough people when the gates are powered.
-
Survivors want you to sit in the corner and let them complete the generators and then when they're done, they want you to come to the gate and watch them do the Teabag Quartet.
-
At this point Skull Merchant is becoming my main because I played Trapper, well known awful killer all around, against an all meta SWF today and instead of being humble winners they tea bagged at the gates for the entire two minutes, and told me to uninstall and kill myself.
If you're going to make my life miserable, you have no right to complain when I make yours miserable too. And it's not like I can be MORE frustrated at this point.
-
The map doesn't favor killers. It's far too big to favor any more than a very specific handful.
-
Learn how to play against the killer you hate. Either you tolerate that some people will play characters you don't like like a sane person and you learn to play against them, or you play a different game.
-
@Hex_Ignored said:
If by "was fine" you mean "was basically a dead zone with 8 pallets (on a good day)" then sure, it was absolutely fine
Good maps should have some dead zone in it so that survivors feel pressured for wasting defensive resources.
Not every map needs to be The Game nor should they be.
-
Is no one going to bring up the random infinite?
Because I think the potential infinite window should be talked about.
-
I'm pretty sure it's SUPPOSED to be easy.
The only time you should fail it is if SM is coming up on you while you're working.
