  • Spine Chill is a pretty great one, sometimes just being near chases gives you the benefit of increased repair speeds. Pairing it up with Stake Out works wonders for generators.

  • Open Handed - it literally has no use if nobody on your team has any aura reading abilities. I wouldn't have a clue on how to fix the perk other than giving it it's own unique function.

  • I don't think removing the points would be enough of an incentive to get them to stop doing it. For the exact reasons you've stated, they would still do it because it means the killer may turn their attention to someone else instead of them.

  • It would also mean you'd have to hit survivors first in order to use the perk, so if you've missed your hit and gone into fatigue the perk would end up being entirely useless. Could maybe try how it works with predator instead?

Or if you're confident at landing the hits, maybe couple it together with Sloppy Butcher to get the most out of the extra blood visibility. The Sloppy Butcher will also slow down their attempts to heal themselves mid-chase.

What freeze bug are you talking about?

There was a bug where sometimes when you loaded into a game, you couldn't move at all save for crouching. I haven't seen this problem in a while either so I'd like to think yes?

  • Can't see a reason to disagree with this. As it is, the game lacks a rewards for quite a few of the features it presents. (cough rank rewards cough devotion cough)

Hex perks are meant to have OP effects, at the cost of fragility.

Perhaps a suggestion - when a hex totem is destroyed, the effect would persist for about 60 seconds (token-based hexes would retain their level during this time).

There was a suggestion I've seen here on the forums where someone suggested that cleansing hex totems would make them apply permanently to the survivor who cleansed the totem and I think that would be a great idea. In the case of Ruin that would mean at least one survivor will always have the effect on them.

  • It definitely should be. I had a game where we were fixing the generator in Autohaven Wreckers on the map with the gas station, one survivor kept pointing at the cabinet I was hiding in to get the killer to pull me out of it but thankfully for me the killer ignored me and continued to hit this survivor instead. I reported the dude for it, of course.

  • It's also probably because of the rank reset causing these players to drop to rank 14-15.

  • I would highly discourage sticking to camping as your go-to strategy to secure kills. Not only is it not fun at all to watch one person die, you're giving the rest of their team an opportunity to complete generators while you essentially AFK.

  • I try not to care about how well survivors are doing against me unless their sole purpose is to get up in my face about it by intentionally trying to get my attention to chase them, then proceed to bait me into running into pallet drops and then proceeding to teabagging me. Even then, in the end just remember its a game and doesn't affect your life whatsoever once it ends. If you're mad about it, write them up in a report and that's the end of it, you'll forget who even did this to you in a day or two. Don't be that ######### who takes that anger out of the game and goes to people's profiles to leave salty comments.

  • We already have one, it's called No Mither.

  • Never. I do what I can to earn as much BP as possible and to keep the game going as long as possible. Had a match earlier today where two teammates gave up after the first guy got found in the basement. The remaining two of us survivors did all 5 generators alone and one of us made it out.

  • It's a necessary evil to chase survivors out of the exit gates instead of hanging around to taunt you. I love downing a survivor after his buddies have run off and he ends up being the only one to die in a match.

  • I'll keep an eye out for those! Though I'm currently saving my shards to unlock survivors and killers that I'm still missing which are the Clown, Kate, Feng Min and Ace. So that's quite a ways to go.

  • @Esheon Thanks again for the extra tips! I actually only got the game quite recently and like to play a bit of survivor and killer evenly so all of my characters between both are mostly between levels 20-25 at the moment so I haven't learned any teachables so I currently run with Distressing, Overcharge, Bitter Murmur and Unrelenting. It's not the best thing I could run but I don't have much else to work with unfortunately. :(

  • Hey thanks for the tips @Esheon, I hope to put them to good use. Could you also explain how exactly his static field/madness works? I assumed that the static field was something that was equal to your terror radius and would constantly increase survivor's madness whether in treatment or punishment mode but I've had chases in punishment mode that survivors never even seem to get madness I.

And is increasing my terror radius with perks like distressing actually helpful for the Doctor or does that just let survivors know that I'm approaching from further away?

  • The first person animation is awful. Something about the trap itself looks.. off, I can't pin down what exactly it is but it just looks a little awkward. Haven't got the chance to take a good look at any third person changes though.

  • I think it's also an issue with the visibility of her traps. Unlike the trapper's bear traps, her traps are barely visible triangles on the ground. I unlocked her recently via shards and after playing a few games with her I think it's safe to say that in my experience, next to nobody ever gets past the traps.

  • What are you referring to exactly?

  • They do not. You get the +600 BP quitter bonus to brutality and that's it.

  • They could just make it look like that survivor isn't injured until they are downed for the first time. Also not indicating to the killer in any other form that they started the match with No Mither until the killer downs them (Thanatophobia debuff etc). Also yeah, a built in Iron Will would be great too for No Mither rather than having to dedicate yet another perk slot for the same effect but more effective.

  • It's pretty easy to think someone is wallhacking when they use BBQ and Chili. I once made the mistake of accusing a huntress of using wallhacks until I saw they were using it at the end game screen. I thought they were wallhacking because they were constantly throwing hatchets across the map.

  • Jake has the worst struggling noises in the game. Bill's coughing while he's injured also always makes me feel on edge if there's a killer nearby.

  • It makes a difference because I currently was reset to rank 18 down from 11 and it's the absolute worst. I'm either playing against a killer who's much better than me or teammates who try to free themselves from the hook on the first time.

  • I thought gen rushing was referring to multiple survivors piling onto a single generator at the same time to complete generators faster but thanks for the clarification.

I've also forgot to add Pip to the list: the scoring system used in ranking to determine how many "wins" a player must accomplish in game to rank up.

  • I've seen people doing that but didn't realize there was a term for it, thanks!
