So your suggestion is what? Break it so you can continue to control the action. Nope. I'll just trap em or wait for you to try and use them then get grabbed.

I want a ping pong table and pinball machine in mine!
-
That's a good point. I've never seen them state it but having a discord is pretty official.

I do see the difference. That's not what you said.
SWF is cheating as it is not playing the game as intended or designed. That's it. You can just admit you like cheating its ok
SWF is not cheating. It is in the game and designed into the game. The feature has been in the game since almost the beginning.
Playing on voice-communications is not what you said.
Ah so you agree. Cool cool
-
Doesn't have voice chat. Being in a coordinated group with people that know what they are doing is one thing, Voice coms is another. Don't pretend you don't see the difference.

I don't mind music but they ambient SFX that sound like breathing or movement drive me nuts
-
Something scary. Something that can attack from surprising angles and locations. Maybe leap off objects or walls or cling to them or something. Crawling around in the corn.
-
Yeah it's rough out there - I'm just happy if I get a game that lasts more than 5 mins and isn't a sweatfest.
-
They might have used Knock Out or had something that applied Blindness to the attack.
-
Is FD obnoxious. Yup you bet it is. Is it annoying when it can be applied multiple time and changes the way you have to play the game? Yup just like DS. You give up DS and I will give up FD.
-
Thanks! I appreciate the idea that we're all playing a game together and we're all gonna try to have a fun time. As long as others keep things friendly and competitive I love it!
-
Spine Chill is easy mode but also good for practice and training as you learn Survivor. I've started practicing my sideways walking and moonwalking and that has helped some. Sorry bout that luck!
-
Would be cool if there was a game mode where you all went into a lobby and someone was randomly chosen to be killer. That would mix things up a lot I feel.
-
Rank means nothing. I've been higher than rank 7. It does nothing in matchmaking. Why even bring it up?
I'm not blaming anyone for anything. People keep putting that out there. My point is... isn't M1 Simulator like the most boring thing you can do with your time? Couldn't be me.
-
Yesterday I had a player tell me to kill myself. I said WHOOPS gotta report ya now and they just laughed and said "GO AHEAD" so that tells ya how useful the reporting feature is (even with screen caps or videos).

"banter"
HAHAHA

It occurred to me today when I was having another one of these games that one of the big design problems is all the Killer perks are based on what the Survivor does and not what the Killer does. They are almost all reactionary. So you are often left playing defense instead of offense. Meanwhile the Survivor feats are mostly based on what they are doing.
So in essence the Survivor is mostly dictating how the game goes and the Killer just has to play along. Unless they want to be an asshat and camp and tunnel. But you get blamed for that even when you don't.

just move on, if they chose to bring the stuff needed to rush, then let them rush, use up those things, get nothing out of it and on to the next game.
You got it! That's what I do. It almost always leads to hate speech and toxic chat afterwards as if it's my fault they finished the game too fast.

I mean all survivors do in terms of objective is do gens sorry that bothers you but trust me survivors don't find it that entertaining either but what can you do?
Bring a different set of perks and have fun doing something different! I know it's risky but that's what I like to do as Killer.
-
I'm not blaming anyone for anything. It's the game and people will play it how they want to. I just can't fathom the boredom it must create but maybe people love M1 Simulator.
-
Anyone who runs OoO basically has a big sing on them that say "PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!! I AM SPECIAL!!" but you can just ignore it. Or tunnel them out of the game.
-
It's kinda hard to explain you just have to mess around with it until you get it. Triple did a good job above with the description.
Understanding the hitbox for Blight was the thing that helped me get immediately better with him. Think of it as a rectangle in front of you. Basically wait until you are touching the survivor (or you get a prompt if you have those on) and then swing.
With the Rush turn you can kind of drift towards a direction, then finish it with a Lunge (and turn). You'll be surprised what you can hit this way. You can also use this Lunge turn to sort of "slide" along or off some objects and hit the survivor on the other side.
-
I like to RP this in game with them by always leaving one survivor alive to tell the tale (or maybe to join the Legion).
-
Almost every game as killer. Probably every 3 games as survivor.
I consider straight hate messages as toxicity. I don't mind a bit of ribbing and smack talk.
-
You can use the slide tho if you swing while sliding you will move along it and hit through the end of the tree (for example) if there is a surv on the other side.

LISA 4 EVA (Get that Hag)
-
This has been happening a lot to me lately too. It really sucks.
-
It happens sometimes for me for both.
As Survivor - Pregame there was someone terrible in the chat. Killers can't see it but it doesn't mean the toxic community doesn't start there. Or AFK players
As Killer - If a survivor is just blendette heal bot in a corner or locker and the on showing me where they are want the damn game over too
I always appreciate the help but I can't guarantee I won't it will keep you from the Entity.
-
I always enjoy games against the lesser played killers even when the killer knows their odds are reduced. Sometimes it can make really interesting little mini moments you don't always get to see (especially when the survivor does this too). I really love using infectious fright with traps as Trapper. Sometimes you get cool chain reactions of screams. Stuff like that
-
The classic "it's not all of us" argument. If it's not you then don't worry about it. To everyone else stop being a pissbaby.
-
Just leave. Nobody cares about what makes you feel special.
-
DS Unbreakable is the reason
-
Sometimes they might just be practicing and don't care about winning just improving.
-
I just left a match as killer because the survivors were messing with me. I'll gladly take a short DC penalty so you can take your sorry ass back to the lobby for 20 mins. Don't be like those survivors and killers will want to play. More killers = less matchmaking
-
Yes I always have to do this with my Steam install.
-
The basement can be the difference between winning and losing for a killer. It's actual risk in a game where you are supposed to be afraid of killers. Don't go in the basement!
-
I had this issue on PS4 sometimes where there is a hiccup and input is disrupted. Sometimes it would be in the middle of a struggle sometimes at the start. I haven't seen it on PC but I use the mousewheel binding for struggle now because otherwise my hand cramps up.
-
I've seen that one several times now as killer and survivor both (see attached)
-
I love how this is called "tech" and not an obvious exploit/bug they can't seem to fix. Same as the dehook animation bug that keeps killer from grabbing a survivor standing right in front of them.
In the words of survivors everywhere post match - git gud if you are doing this weak shiz
-
DS is better than anti-tunnel as it has all kinds of annoying invincible uses. Plus people play like they have it even when they don't and you have to assume all survivors have it (especially at red ranks).
So this one perk basically dictates how the whole game plays. But yeah we need a new "anti-tunnel" perk. I got one for you called UNINSTALL
-
Usually it's because I caught someone early doing something dumb, then I chased around their teammates while they got unhooked, and thinking surely the DS counter is done now I down them again. If you DS me like that I will go to the ends of the earth to end you. And typically this brings out the worst in that survivors teammates and it's just a snowball of a bad time.
-
Yes. I hate this game, I hate myself for playing it, and most of all I hate having spent any $$ or time on it. But on the other hand I get to absorb a ton of toxic behavior from it's players so that's good.
-
There is no fun in this game. Only pain.
-
Yeah I love having to run a bag, and a dye, and go pick up all my powers, just to give the survivors BP for disabling my traps then tbagging.
-
Autohaven. Especially as a Trapper. You can see all traps easily and the only place you can kind of hold down is killer shack which is boring AF for everyone.
-
What would happen if Killers just dodged every lobby they didn't like the look of? And then DC on the matches where survivors are being aholes? If everyone did that the devs would have to do something right?
-
Same thing as everything else in this game - its broken
-
Just had a game as Trapper where in the lobby a player waited to say "fk you you pos tunneler you tunneled me!". I apologized as I really didn't intend to sometimes it just happens that way! They said "Damn why you gotta be nice. Okay all is forgiven" hahah GG I guess!
-
I've been playing Killer a year. I have gotten much better and the game has gotten way less fun. I mix up killers I am good with and ones I am learning and that keeps me in the 4-7 range right now. I have to force myself to start this game and pick killer. Not a good sign to me.
