Well since we're talking about it.
Just had a lobby that was all PC with keys and maps. I am practicing Nurse. Not good at it so I expected to lose. Started game and found AFK player. Left them until the crows showed up and then hooked them. They almost die before they get a rescue as the gens are done. I down them again and eat a DS. In the lobby I get "u suk"
Everything in my mind screamed at me to dodge that lobby and I was proven right. It's a killer instinct you develop. You know which games will be bad before you even start.

It’s because roughly between the hours of 5:30pm and 9:30pm has a great deal of hardcore dedicated red rank SWF groups. That in itself isn’t terrible, but a great deal of them also play in an incredibly obnoxious way, and do things to intentionally incite frustration in the killer.
It’s just not fun.
So many long time killers simply wont log on during those periods.
They’ll either join the long queues as survivor, or play an entirely different game.
Yeah it took me awhile to realize that 5-10p or so is peak ahole hours. Really hard to have any fun as killer if you play then.
EDIT: Well I just played from 12a-3a EST and 99% of the players I faced were total jerks in game and after. So now I know I don't need to play this game at all! I win!

Otz has plenty of insight and info.

If the killer doesn't tunnel or camp yep. Almost always.

I just played a game where I had 10 hooks and only got 1 kill at the end because a teammate was trying to farm. Every gen was done literally in my face while I tried to kill and get hooks. Like... cmon man what am I supposed to do? I don't want to be a tunneling camper but I play a good game and get roflstomped like this?

I've been getting blinded by survivors I can't even see out of the corner of my eye (outside the Killer POV). Totally fair when they camp hooks that way.

Autohaven is a Trapper nightmare now. Good luck getting hits and you can basically forget about getting any trap catches.

Don't feed the trolls folks.

Lisa is perfect swamp woman. Only love for hags here. 💜

As killer I love to see survivors:
- Die on hook
- Leave the game if they win
- If they hang around at exit give hits and downs before you crawl out
That's about it.

I've only been a killer "main" in DBD for the last year or so. I play all killers but tend to like ones that are not considered "good" like Trapper (my main man). I always play to have fun and hope to make a fun game for the survivors.
The amount of hate and toxic behavior I have seen in this game as killer is huge. Every day I sit down to play DBD I actively have to force myself to play killer. It's not fun. It's stressful and a bad time.
So yah I am not surprised that new players/new killers get a bad taste in their mouth and leave the game.

Hi. Made an account here to share this:
Been playing about a year now, mostly killer, some survivor the last 3 months. The amount at which gens get done now (maybe since Ruin + Undying meta) is much faster since I started. Just now I had a match where I had 1 survivor on hook, was chasing 2 others, and was near one of the near complete gens. Went from 5 gens to 2 gens left in under 1 min.
Yes there was a BNP in play on one gen. But if that isn't a "gen rush" I don't know what the hell is. Meanwhile the other survivors are saving in my face and taunting me with their twenty second chance perks.
It's a problem. It needs addressing.
