They just can't seem to get flashlights right.
they either do nothing or too much.
People complain about them all the time and almost every patch there's something about fixing or changing flashlights.
an example: today I was playing against someone with a yellow flashlight a battery and a rubber grip. nothing to enhance it's power. Instant blind in less then a second. I even got points for a flashlight evasion. I might as well not have since I couldn't see anyway.
I think it's a damned if you damned if you don't situation. They change it, people complain the change it again something else messes up. the balance just can't seem to be maintained.

Flashlights are a perfect example of don't change something that isn't broken.
I'd say they're bugged. If I'm still getting evasion points when I'm blind thanks to the the speed at which it kicks in. I've also been blind on the screen but not dropped a survivor meaning that I wasn't blind according to the game so.
No they blind you too early that's why you didn't drop the survivor. They currently aren't bugged and seem to be working perfectly for me.
I've been getting blinded by survivors I can't even see out of the corner of my eye (outside the Killer POV). Totally fair when they camp hooks that way.
it still doesn't explain the instant blinds on weak flashlights.
Wow, so they're not broken to the survivors determent so they're fine. LOL
Flashlight blinding speeds are the same on all flashlights. I use them fairly often and the seem the exact same timing as always.
It's just stupid when you look up at the sky and can't avoid the blind somehow, as if you're look-up rate gets locked or something. Or when you're the blinder and you can MIS-TIME the blind so that the killer doesn't drop the survivor, it's so stupid.
Or when you're breaking a pallet and you're not even looking at the flashlight and they can blind you anyway. I've always hated that and think it's just to annoy. I'm already breaking the pallet run.
