I personally think it's the fact that the maps aren't balanced around survivors being able to knock out gens so quickly. The amount of mobility needed by a killer to counter the kind of spread pressure a good team brings is why the meta favors only the ones with the highest mobility.
When gens are getting knocked out simultaneously at opposite ends of the map, there just isn't much most killers can do to stop or even slow it down.
Thanks for you're input man, I'm inclined to believe it too. I went back to OhTofu's stream and he believes that every map other than the new one and Badham need to be reworked, and I respect his opinion as a dbd player because he has SO many hours

I don't like Tru3 that much either, but while the boy may call wolf multiple times, if he yells "wolf", and there is actually a wolf there, then that doesn't make the boy wrong, just because he was wrong all the other times.
Instead of judging the person playing the match, just judge the match in itself. Otherwise, your judgement will probably end up biased. People always turn these threads about Tru3, and not about the match itself -- ignoring the actual issue that's being brought up, which eventually gets shoved under the rug.
It's also easy to watch a match and say "Oh, he made mistakes there, and there, and he shouldn't have done that". But, when does anyone ever play Killer perfectly? There's too many variables in DBD to play a perfect game consistently, even for the truly best players.
This should all be kept in mind when judging the balance of generator times and critiquing the match itself.
I'd just like to add that I just hopped over to OhTofu's stream and asked him what he thought about the topic. He believes there is a problem with maps rather than gens. But still he believes there is a problem with how quick matches go by

No, I'm just saying people on the forums treat anything he says like he's the third coming of Christ. Most of the things he says is far from the truth anyways and a lot of things he complains about he over exaggerates about.
It sounds like you have more of a problem with the person rather than the actual TOPIC

Ahh, millionth thread about gen speed with a video from the same source.
Sounds like you're a bit salty there for some reason buddy. Unlike you I want an answer from the Devs that don't seem to talk about this often

I main Nurse, Freddy and Previously Ghostface. But I'm thinking about giving spirit a try because I'm sick of gen speeds

viable high tier killer beside freddy
Not true lol

There's actually 2 infinite loops in the new map. And they're quite broken

Something I find to be bs is that you can’t reveal him through corn or reeds, I got some easy stalk by moving around the reeds.
You must be joking!! Everybody knows that you can't stalk through corn easily at all. Not with Myers and not with GF. I think it's BS that I can't stalk through the corn

He is still a full speed (4.6m/s) killer. You definitely do not need a power just to get a hit when you're moving full speed.
Obviously it's impossible to compare the two, but the amount of time you'll spend chasing could be nothing compared to the time you'd spend looking for an immersed group of survivors. Getting into a chase right away could be way more beneficial in the long run.
That's completely fair and I know what you're saying. It just feels a little clunky. When you chase someone and as an M1 killer (and even as a full speed killer) it still takes a bit to down them. It's very precious time wasted, in the presence of master class survivors I really don't think he stands a chance. Let alone being followed by an object of obsession user or perhaps two if you're unlucky
Yes an M1 killer doesn't need a power to land a hit, however we all know that wraith has very low viability and he also gains a speed boost.

Crouch mind games exist
Irrelevant to my argument

If you're being revealed and there are no white scratches showing you where, they're very close by. You'll still get killer instinct regardless, though.
I always look at the silver lining. You just found a guy that you wouldn't have seen otherwise. That's a quick way to start a chase, and since they're so close, you might even be able to get an easy hit on them.
You typically don't want to be in a chase as Ghostface though.he is really nothing special without his power. And without the proper add-ons it takes a lot longer to regain that power. I know you're trying to be optimistic, however in my opinion I believe killer instinct is borderline useless especially to compensate for your power being stripped from half way across the map

They are good conceptually, but the actual details are bad.
Cruel Limit's range is too small to be useful, not to mention it only blocks windows and not pallets.
Surge has the same issue, range is too small. Also it only works with basic attacks, which is a big no-no.
Mindbreaker is a super cool concept, but its not very good in practice. Maybe if it worked at all times and not just when the gens below 50%. Inflicting 3 second exhaust can also work against the Killer in the case of Sprint Burst, so that part should either inflict more exhaust or inflict no exhaust whatsoever.
I agree with you 100%

I think he possibly might be Billy level once people get good with him. That being said his perks need to be buffed imo
-
I'm actually mad. They always make their new killers and killer perks weak as $#%+

It really does suck especially lately. I really hope they will fix it with dedicated servers. Cheers.
YES it's exactly like the two examples you've shown. Except mine lately have been decked out yellow ranks and I'm the only red rank there

Ummmmm yeah that's hilarious. Let's see you "pLaY efFecTively WiTHout RuIN" and play weaker killers. See how much fun you have with SWF

I think alot of maps need reworking. I'm consistently rank 2 as well. Especially Coldwind farm and Autohaven and Mac. Oh and I think the memorial institute is pretty insane for some M1 killers. I know its alot but it's true
