It's not about being greedy, it's about the SIGNIFICANT reduction from previous years that is the main issue.
They don't respect our time or of those who are just starting out. You cancan't buy bloodpoints unless you stupidly pay to finish the rift early. They don't lose money by us getting extra blood points. If anything they're losing money with this tactic because it's turning people away that could potentially spend money on skins and getting the rift. I know I'm not spending any more money on this game for sure.

The event used to have the Shrine of Secrets change daily and now it's weekly? I literally save my shards for this event, lmao. Should we be surprised they shafted this event?

Just wanted to be clear that we are investigating bloodweb and Event Currency issues reported. Bloodweb errors may be resolved already.
This
The bloodweb is still broken. -
Honestly the state of the game has been lacking for a long time. I can't bring myself to play anymore. For 6 years I have grinded the anniversary event 12 hours a day. This last one I played two game and gave up. It's boring facing the same exact strategy every single match. Tunnel and camp a survivor, then pick off thd remaining scraps. Yawn.
And seeing how they treated this last event is no surprise. They're grossly arrogant.
-
Maybe it's my mmr but every Knight I've faced has been oppressive af.
-
Same happened to a couple of my friends. Now I don't want to login and lose points because I know bhvr won't give those back...

You shouldnt even see the other team until you get into the game. The second lobby with all 4 players getting ready is pointless. When you 'ready up' with the play button you should be ready.
I agree with you.
-
I think it's funny that someone can say they get tunneled out of the game in 30 seconds but if anyone dislikes their solution they should get good.

Ty for that. I actually received an email for once, lol.
And thank you BHVR for all the goodies. <3 The event this passed week was great too.
Lucky you, I didn't get the newsletter

All the "Chucky will never be in DbD" people are not feasting right now.

I would love to see if there are differences between NA, EU and Asia.
And Latin America. We play down here too.
-
I'm enjoying both games. It's nice to go back and forth between the two.
-
Maps are my favorite item. I definitely don't want to see them nerfed in any way.
-
I'm enjoying it too but it's not going to replace DbD for me.

It has 14K players on launch day and no crossplay so who cares it will be gone in 3 months
It has crossplay

Why do we have to know each other's perks at all times? Why does everything have to have an outplay or counter?
Can't we just get hit by Coup De Grace and say "OMG they had that niche perk and they got me!" instead of "Ugh I didn't know he had that perk and my looping is invalid now this is so unfair and unfun!"
I feel like it's just a thought he had at that moment that isn't worth having a discussion about LOL.
Otz makes money off these videos so he's got to make stuff interesting or controversial to keep people engaged and share it with other platforms or websites to make more money. Who knows if he really believes what he's saying.

that happens when you play survivor all the time.
It's not making me want to play killer. 🤷🏻
-
Mine are only killer, kinda sucks.

@VirtuaTyKing said:
Yeah reward the player for getting hit. Makes perfect sense.
Killer should get a haste effect everytime they whiff. That sound fair too!
Me with poor depth perception. "Time to be a killer main!"
-
I stopped caring what happens in a match. If it's obviously a turd soup sandwich I do whatever can to have fun. Do I care if it's annoying to killer? No.
I had a nurse that was slugging at 5 gens trying to find me, I had inner strength, lucky break, distortion and plot twist. I kept picking everyone up and running away. Everyone would get downed and if I needed to, I'd heal. Rinse, repeat. I got everyone up 4 times laughing my ass off the whole time.
-
Nope. I'm on Xbox Series X in Panama. I just loaded in no problem.

Oh yeah. It's really tilting when you're penalized for having <70ms ping and your opponent is playing from the International Space Station on a toaster. This is the only online game I've played where having a terrible connection is a massive advantage.
I played Delta Force back in 99 and 2000 on dial up. People thought I was a GOAT player but really the other sides hits weren't registering before mine. Good times, lol.
-
I play Tapp mostly and rarely see him in solo queue.
-
Made for this isn't used very much in my matches. By the way some people complain, I had thought everyone but me was using it. Out of 20 matches 9nly half had someone using it. 4 of them had 2 people using it. I don't think I'm high mmr, not that it actually works but I'm definitely not low mmr.

It's close, but I always feel robbed on survivor if my foot comes down after the fast vault and I still get hit.
I get heated when my survivor is on their 2nd or 3rd step away from the vault and still goes down.
-
I like this, I can go back to cleaning every totem in the match. 🤭
-
I know how feel. I run Inner Strength to get healed quick so I can save as much of my Lucky Break as I can. A claudette got mad and started fast vaulting next to my locker. In the end it went bad for her because she got hooked at end game and I don't risk anything in solo queue for anyone who has been toxic. Normally I don't care about escaping but in those moments I do.

It's working perfectly fine. MMR places you against a killer at your skill level and fills in your team with people you are supposed to carry. How do you not know this? /s
You had me in the first half... 🤪
-
The only thing that makes me hate this game aside from 5 Gen tunnelers is being in chase for 7 minutes and not a single Gen is done. Get downed and other survivors are on the other side of the map hiding as if killer is looking for them. Had a match the other day with a scratch mirror Myers. 2 of us are hooked and a 3rd is about to be hooked. The last survivor decides to spam the unhook button at my hook until Myers downs them. Reported them and only got a "we are working on it" a few days ago.
MMR matchmaking doesn't work, reporting doesn't work, killers have over a 60% kill rate and they're still unhappy with survivor perks, survivors are unhappy with killer perks, toxic strategies are encouraged by the devs, etc. I still somehow have fun... But it's waning for sure...
-
I don't believe mmr is legitimately used. I won't believe until I see it. So many times I'll check after a match because the other survivor couldn't last long in chase, missed multiple skill checks, hides across the map when chase is nowhere near them, etc. Everytime it's a new player. Same with a killer that obviously makes dumb mistakes and gets smoked. I spend maybe 10 seconds waiting for a match and the lobby is filled within a few seconds, so I don't really believe these replies by Peanits.
-
If I'm in a swf, I'll do what I can to help win. Solo queue I'll play hard to get as many points as possible and when it looks like they're sweating the 3 Gen, I just give myself up and move on to the next match. I have no desire to get worked up over one match. Especially when I only face her once every few days.
-
I used it for a couple of days and I don't see the big deal. I really didn't notice a big change in my chases. I didn't stack it though. Maybe I will Monday.
-
I don't mind when a random kills themselves right away. I usually play in a 3 player swf and the 4th is usually dead weight anyway. We've won a ton of matches with just the 3 of us.
-
As someone who loves using maps, I welcome any buff to them. Personally I'd like to see them in my bloodweb more often. I get purple medkits more often than green maps, lol. I stopped using them a month ago to save up and see if a change in my usage will change how often they show up and I haven't notice a change, lol.
-
Twins, Billy, Pig, Oni and Pyramid head.
Zero respect for hag
-
I'm in Panama and matchmaking is pretty quick for me.

Game is survivor sided. Always has been. Always will be. Because I here are 4 survivors for every 1 killer the money is in the survivor side.

On the other hand... I hate getting a survivor challenge.
They are so boring.
And whenever I get "escape with X" that's when you know I'll die 10 times in a row...
I actually don't mind those. It forces me to put some bloodpoints on another survivor I haven't been. Which is funny, I'll spend 250k to get 30k, lmao. 🤪

I guess the solution would be locking lobbies and not allowing players to dodge them.
Another fix can be making the lobby unknown to killers just like it is for survivors. Survivors have no knowledge of who the killer is or their add-ons. Maybe making the lobby so that killer can't see which survivors are playing nor their item and prestige could be a solution.
-
I knew mmr was a joke when I started a new killer when this new system started and got smoked 8 matches in a row. So I never went back. I only play killer to do simple challenges to save for the next anniversary event, don't care about hooks or winning, lol.
-
One of the new challenges released yesterday is to Sabo hook nearby killer carrying a survivor. Sabo'ing hooks are going to be real popular for a week or two.
-
I enjoy a killer constantly hitting me on hook. I don't teabag so I know it's usually to attempt to make me mad or they're mad they got smoked for 3 or 4 gens. It doesn't bother me at all.
-
I think it's just tracking your reports. They didn't change how the reporting functions which is what players had been asking for, lol.
-
The real DbD meta is whining about everything.
-
It probably isn't since they don't consider body blocking a ban offense anyway. That's what they told me when I got body blocked by another survivor until killer came and downed me. Besides, those survivors could try to get that gen done and open the door.
-
Posts like this make me glad I can run killer for 2 or 3 gens, lmao.
-
It's the event. Bring the offering for the event and you'll get 100% more bloodpoints for gens or hooks depending on which side you play. They stack as well.
-
Nah, I love using it in solo queue. I get the teammates that won't heal so I enjoy going off to a corner and laying down for 30 seconds. It's funny to use to in some matches. Especially ones that are a lost cause, if I'm the last survivor sometimes I'll just use it in their face. Some killers get a laugh.
-
I save them. But today one of the bots got beat to the hook by me and instead of helping me heal the survivor (another bot) they just teabagged us and left, lol.
-
I kinda like that none of my perks are in the top pick rates, lol.
