The last attempt at this never went live (anti-slugging). Wouldn't count your chickens until they hatch.
It also came with the broken auto mori mechanic
-
Play survivor
-
I think with the self recover after 90 seconds, removing bleed out makes sense, but it needs another change for the slugging for 4k too. Maybe when 2 survivors are left the slugged survivor can instant die with a button.
-
How about survivors having other better items to bring instead of toolboxes, medkits and flashlights?
Ask the devs to either buff fog vials or remove them
And to revert keys and maps, and add a little buff to them
-
Where is the reversion of maps, keys , Streetwise, Franklin's Demise and removal of Fog Vials??
-
I hope they return maps and keys to what they were before, and remove fog vials and map offerings
some day…
-
Cheaters can see names even if they are anon
-
How about making it separated options?

You need to change from "fullscreen" to "windowed fullscreen" in graphic settings and mute come back
This fixed for me
I was having the same issue
-
Coldwind just looks the same size to me
-
If survivors are not allowing you to teleport then they are wasting time taking tapes, turning tvs off and putting tapes on
-
I never have nice messages
-
Lol I did double quote on that, sorry
its because the forum gave the notification again even though I already "read it"

if time is so precious that you can't wait a few seconds should you really be playing a video game then?
Yes, the little time they have they want to spend having fun with a videogame, not waiting for pointless outcomes

Doesn't that encourage the killer to slug for the 4K? I thought the reasoning behind the devs making abandoning when slugged count as a draw, was to not encourage that gameplay loop, by make slugging all survivors a win condition for killer.
Not really? We are talking about when the game is basically already over, 2 survivors left and the killer wants the 4k

uh….what?
giving hatch the last survivor is bannable?
i get ganging up against a survivor with the killer, im sorry is can u show anything that is said by the devs confirming this because i feel like u just kind made it up lol
even streamers do it, and they wouldn't if it was bannable xd
Only if you purposely avoid that survivor and target the others. It falls into the "working with the opposite side" category

if time is so precious that you can't wait a few seconds should you really be playing a video game then?
Yes, most people dont even have time for a video game
-
In order to abuse the bug, people need to use No Mither
sounds like a killer buff to me
-
Because people don't have time to waste
-
Not abandon, but insta bleedout is a good option
-
Terrible
-
Just ask to revert Franklins, and they should also revert Streetwise, keys and maps
Everyone wins
-
Although the badge is harmless, I agree that forcing people to get something with no consent is a bit…off
I absolute don't like the FNAF franchise and I would be PISSED if they put something related to in my inventory against my will

Until then, I will hide in lockers when I hear his terror radius
Not engaging in chases at all

I totally hear the frustration here and know I personally can't change how these nerfs feel for you, but I do want to make sure the feedback I'm bringing back to the team is as specific as possible and as representative of your experiences in the game as possible. With that, it makes it easier to advocate for changes.
If you don't mind me pulling this back a step to dig into the details, I'd like to ask two specific questions:
1. Of the two recent nerfs to Fog Vials (reduced opacity; max 2 charges), do you feel that one of these in particular pushed the item from feeling viable to feeling like it's not worth using? If so, which was it?
2. If you could make one specific change to Fog Vials that'd push them towards being an item you'd enjoy using, what would it be?
I hear the more general feedback (and rest assured, it's being collected and shared with the team), but if there are specific facets of the recent nerfs that felt most impactful, I want to make sure I'm giving them my particular attention. That, and things that could make Fog Vials feel better for you (like the great suggestions of increasing the total charges a little more).- Revert the opacity nerf, increase charges to 6, rework an add-on to give 1 or 2 more charges
- the change above

It's amazing how they made 3 survivor items completely useless in one patch 😆
And then survivors are only sticking with medkits, toolboxes and flashlights and killer mains will keep complaining until those items are also nerfed lmao

Hey folks. I totally hear your concerns here, but also want to give some background. Balancing is an iterative process that takes time to find a sweet spot, and this is very much another step in that process. To quote one of my favourite fantasy series', "journey before destination".
We 100% want to hear your feedback once you get a chance to play a few Trials with this new change, so please let us know how it's feeling. We're here to grab that feedback and make sure the team is made aware.
Feedback? Do everyone a favour and delete the item from the game

LMAO

Since the perk doesnt work with Calm Spirit, it makes no sense that it also doesnt work with Hardened. Like, at all

Double invigoration addons with rapid brutality and/or STBFL and Coup is a valid thing to complain about I feel. Clown casually moving at 132% is pretty oppressive so imagine how bad it is with rapid (137%) and the faster recover/longer lunges from chase perks
But this has always been the case since when like, any of these perks were introduced. He just got a 2% buff, and the yellow bottle activation buff. Revert the yellow bottle and we will test if he is still oppressive or not
-
For Lithe, only
-
Yellow activation is the true culprit here
But people love to bring up the "haste stacking" argument that makes 0 sense
-
They need to revert all recent changes that nobody likes:
Keys and Maps changes, the new charge system
Streetwise
Franklin's Demise
-
@PigWithTvs said:
ah yes…a perk to buff gen rushing and healing items as if they aren't overtuned already
great idea.
When killer mains complain about every single survivor perk, even the average ones
Survivors are really not allowed to have good perks, jesus christ
-
No
-
They are terrible and people who used them are not using anymore
New people will use them for a while and then back to medkits, toolboxes and flashlights

bold of you to assume we have any to be compensated for (seriously I'm having a harder time farming smokes than farming double iri for myers)
I mean, a few thousand BP for free doesnt hurt lol
-
Just need to bring back the first version of the reworked map, with just a couple of tweeks
thats all
-
LMAO
I'm absolutely done with spending money on this game
I"M FINALLY FREE!!!!

I would personally much rather have my own on-demand aura reading. Not a pre-determined amount for a predetermined amount of time. No thank you. I’m more than capable of doing it myself without having a mechanic hold my hand and make it much less useable throughout the match.
The vast majority of players think the same, don't worry

"A few" is misleading. Minimum 5, maximum 7, on top of the range being noticeably higher so the chances of not seeing your teammates is very low.
The Skeleton key has a range of 64 metres and lasts for 10 full seconds. There's no way to slice it but your chances of being able to effectively track your teammates with the key going up considerably.People were complaining that keys and maps were useless. While this didn't really help maps that much, it absolutely made keys significantly better at their main niche and added an entire new niche on top of that.
Keys were improved, noticeably, and the new charge system is part of why.Maximum 7 is pitiful lmao
Well, keys and maps were almost useless, they just needed a simple buff, not what they got

I do. The person you're responding to is right - a single button press for lingering aura read is considerably more convenient than having to micromanage being able to hold the button.
It's a part of why keys are so much better at tracking teammates now- you can be doing whatever while reading their aura, on top of having more range and more opportunities to use it.
And you can only do a few times. Sometimes you won't get the value you are expecting and you waste a charge
Holding the button for the desired amount of time is much more convenient
Nobody was complaining about this
-
Just remove the fog vials and refund bloodpoints

No, the charge system feels super good to use. You no longer have to hold a button looking around to see auras. It feels convenient and less stressful. For example, the Crimson Stamp add-on for maps, the Killer aura aspect of it feels so smooth to use. You just place the beam down and it automatically tracks the Killer for you. So you can vault and still see the Killer. Before you had to let go of the button = no aura reveal.
I promise you buddy, you are in the minority
Nobody likes the new charge system
-
They need to revert all of this:
-Keys and add-ons (and adds some buffs)
-Maps and add-ons (same)
-Streetwise (and make the new effect a new perk maybe)
-Franklin's Demise (because it's useless now)
Fog vial can be removed from the game. If its not supposed to be strong than we should just not even bother with it -

For starters, it's historically famous for being Scottish, not British.
Secondly, you'll never hear a Scot complain about anyone wearing a kilt. Wear what you want, we don't care. They're stupid comfortable.
Oh I know a scot will not complain, just like a brazilian will never complain about Renato or Thalita wearing an indigenous outfit
but the internet will

Keys should remain strictly to open the hatch and chests, but should not involve having aura reading on killers/survivors. Add-ons should give you free Pharmacy, Scavenger, Residual Manifest, or Ace in the Hole without the additional effects of the perk, and the iri should just give Left Behind.
No keys should remains strictly for rat survivors that want a free escape, gotcha
