Ok once again the devs aren known to mess simple things up like auras I have alot of hope for them to fix it. So I dont understand why you repeated that.
You can use the bug as an argument because it has been buggy since patch 2.0 the animation made it worse then dedicated servers killed it. If you played in 2017-2018 pre 2.0 the perk was amazing and better than sprint burst every 40 seconds whipe running or walking you had that marvelous perk you never got hit through it and you could still use it for distance.
Sprint burst is fine as a perk but still better than dead hard because you can instantly reposition yourself idk if you play alot of survivor but you dont know how much that means. You say deadhead counters 50% Of powers I mean the perk says avoid damage during the dash so isnt it supposed to do that so once again complaining about a perk doing its job and besides it is a one use. Per 40 seconds.
You should use sprintburst more you it has a skill cap not a big one but a skill cap it's too much to type into words but using the perk will teach you how to be efficient with it. DH doesn't need to be changed because if you complain about you losing hits it's doing its job if you complain about distance it's still doing its job it's a dash.
I mean you are right many times the devs mess up simply things. 9 Months ago they said they are gonna fix matchmaking and now they just add MMR because they couldn't fix it. They messed up the auras first time and they might mess up the DH / Dedicated server fix too or not even do it.
I started playing in 2017 (about summer), but you shouldn't say a perk is better or worse because of a bug. The bugs are suppost to get fixed and its not the perks fault. I mean I just think you shouldn't use that as an argument.
Sprintburst is fine and might be better than DH but it got downsides (which are not bugs), it takes more skill than DH and doesn't just give you a second chance by pressing one button, you have to 99% it first and as soon as you have to stop sprinting and so on you wont have it 99% anymore. Its not about DH doing its job, its about what its job is. I mean its good that it does its job but its job is just giving you a second chance by the press of one button multiple times per game.

I'm gonna start with we dont know if the devs are gonna fix window hits so DH still might not be broken. The devs have a track record of messing things up.
DH is also just an exhaustion perk sure it corrects mistakes but I'm suprised you arent speaking about sprint burst when in the hands of a good looper you can instantly correct your positioning and loop optimally. You also have to remember all the things you mentioned are what dead hard is supposed to do make you avoid damage so you are complaining about a perk that when working does its job.
Having that 30 second wont do much as you can just waste a pallet to insure use do it's just a waste making that change. All in all DH is fine and when used for distance you cant complain when it doesnt work half the time.
The devs said in a QA livestream that they are gonna fix dedication with their servers, survivors wont get hit through windows anymore. They wont get hit from 10 miles away and wont be exhausted on the floor.
It is good that DH does its job yea, but the problem is not that its doing its job the problem is what its job is. I mean it really doesn't take any skill and gives you so much value from it. Sometimes it ######### up and you are exhausted on the floor yes but thats gonna be fixed soon, you cant use an bug as an argument.
For example Spirit needs a nerf and Nurse doesn't, but nurse is stronger than spirit. Thats because Nurse is the hardest killer in the entire game to play, she takes a lot of skill and practice and the only thing this killer does is rewarding skill with a really strong killer. Spirit just needs a good headset and that's it, you need MAX 5 GAMES and you can play her. It doesn't take much skill and is just really strong, TOO STRONG.
If you think about it like that with DH and SB. DH just gives you 3 second chances for the press of a button. It counters 50% of all killer abilitys with no counterplay (exeption deathslinger). The only counter against DH is respecting it which is really situational and survivors are just not getting punished for making a mistake because they can just DH and get a second chance. Takes no skill at all.
SB is a perk that just gives you distance, its not a second chance perk if you look at it like that its just a little bit of time waste or from getting away from an open area. But its not as strong as DH while used like that. You can 99% SB and I don't think the devs planed people to do that but I mean okay its a strat found by survivors. If you look at it like that yes it is a second chance perk, but first it doesn't counter 50% of all killer abilitys. You have downsides like as soon as you stop sprinting your 99% is gone. While not being in a chase you cant sprint otherwise you will just waste your SB. Yes SB is really strong but it got downsides and got more counterplay to it, and most of the time survivors are not gonna 99% it and instead use it for distance. That's why SB shouldn't get changed in my opinion, only DH.
-
one of his three perks is trash yes. But I would say the other two are quite good. 14% faster healing for every survivor injured, 56% faster healing for the killer applying much presure and keeping all injured. Its also a Legion counter since you can heal back up so fast that its actually worth to heal against legion.

Nurse main here. I’m totally sick of the bugs. I was a constant 2k killer with lots of 3 and 4k’s made it to rank 1. Now match making was severely broken so that has a lot to do with going to rank 1 in three months. After the latest update where they introduced the bubba and billy changes it was like the bugs tripled and the ones there got worse. I love playing nurse and probably won’t ever play another killer because most seem blan and don’t interest me. Behavior please fix your game and the bugs. Does anyone remember the note on screen during anniversary that’s said 99 bugs in the game 99 bugs in the game take one down patch it around 103 bugs in the game. Now I’m starting to believe that was the truth
They are not fixing any bugs, they fixed 4 bugs the past 10 months since her rework.
One bug was a mori animation bug, the other one was a deadzone bug they said they fixed it but NO its not fixed. In silent hill in the one hallway it was just completely filled with deadzones and they tried to fix that. But you still cant blink through there just from a few small angles you can blink through it but its still not fixed. The other 2 bugs were actual bugs and got actually fixed.
There are 3 options why they might not fix them:
No one plays nurse anymore, they don't care.
Not really many people play nurse and that's why they want to focus on other bugs more than on nurse bugs.
Not really many people play nurse, so why should they waste money on fixing a killer that no one plays? There's no money from it because no one plays that killer, instead make cosmetics for her.

I've given up any hope on the bug fixes she really needs. It seems to be company policy to not acknowledge the sweeping issues her power has with dedicated servers. She performs worse under higher server load, your chain blink window and second blink distance are constantly open to interpretation, and I'm dead blinking so much since crossplay came out. I'm not joking when I say I need about half a first bilnk charge just to go through a tree with a gen beside it. Are gens 15 meters wide? That's ridiculous relative to the charge time. The reason so many Nurse players complain on here is because we have this muscle memory screaming at us about blink distances, yet we're constantly failing to blink through stuff we know we've charged enough to blink through. And the blink lunge hit registration...yeah, I don't know. Just swing because who the hell knows. Oh, and also being visibly rubberbanded to swing into a box or wall. 10 months btw
Ye lmao 10 months, thats not even a bug to move through object. Before she got nerfed she had a mechanic that was called "blink accuracy". If you blinked inside an object and you were more than half way through you would've gotten to the other side. This was a big thing on nurse, but in the nodes about her nerf they said that the blink accuracy was working but it was hardly noticable so they removed it. "Hardly noticable" dude it was legit one of the biggest mechanics of nurse. Today you have to overcharge your blinks every time otherwise you wont move through it even if you charged it long enough. Why do they even remove it? It was hardly noticable, NO it was not and even if it was why do you have to remove it just let it in.

When the point being made is that they're more powerful now than they've ever been before, it is absolutely fair to bring up the many, many examples (these only be a few) of how they were significantly stronger in the past. If you want to say that you still think they're too powerful, you can definitely just say "In my opinion, survivors are too strong right now" and that's totally fine, but exaggerating for effect doesn't make the argument any stronger.
I totally have to agree on that one.
I don't even understand why this discussion even have to exist people can just turn off cross-play any time they want.

That would kill the perk completely, you admitted ot spirit carrying you that's a problem in itself tha tf needs to be changed.
I'm not sure if you want to say that spirit needs nerf, but if so yes that is true she needs changes. But that doesn't mean that DH doesn't need changes.
Yes if you could use DH only once per game no one would use it anymore and they should not do that with DH.
A good idea would be in my opinion that you can only use DH while being chased for 30 seconds or longer. It would still do the exact same and give you a lot of value. But it would also take more skill because you have to hold the killer for a certain amount of time before using it. That would also make it harder to use, if it takes more skill it can also be strong. If the killer plays really well and kills you fast he will get his deserved kill and you wont get a second chance just like that even tho the killer played better than you.
That idea is also just my opinion and there might be even better ways to change DH. (I know DH wont get changed, survivors love DH, survivors spend money, devs love money.)

The perk hardly works most of the time. Killers respect it if not used for distance. How else is it supposed it be used? You cant even be mad.
You cant use it as an argument that DH doesnt work most of the time, devs said they are gonna fix the problem with their servers so survivors dont get hit from 10 miles away. That will also fix DH and it will be even stronger.
Killers can respect DH yes but most of the time thats not possible. Survivors are most of the time gonna DH to a pallet or window and you have no counter to that.
DH also counters 10 killer abilitys exactly half of all killers and the killer have no counterplay to that. How are you gonna bait DH as nurse? As huntress while throwing a hatchet. As Trapper when they DH through your trap. You just gain 3 second chances per game for no skill at all, its just pressing E. It is really strong but I mean it could have stayed. But since the ruin nerf most of the time you are not gonna win against survivors if many of them have DH and just waste so much more time every chase by just pressing E. I'm a nurse main and I don't notice that while playing because usually I win no matter how many times DH saves their lifes. But when I play other killers like a normal M1 killer like Legion, Trapper, Gorgon and so on.

ALL exaustion perks are second chances by the press of a button. I’m saying your logic doesn’t make any sense.
Complain all you want, it’s never gonna be changed.
How is HO a second chance perk?
How is Lithe a second chance perk? You get the sprintburst AFTER you vaulted the window, and AFTER you vaulted it the killer cant hit you anyways.
Balanced can be a second chance perks but it is just really unconsistent, on some maps the only place where you can get a balanced landing are the basement stairs.
Sprintburst is a second chance perk when you 99% it, usually if you just use it normally its also not a second chance perk. You cant stop sprinting while having it 99%, and while you got sprintburst you cant run otherwise you will just use it and get a exhaustion even tho you are just walking around to a gen.
DH is a second chance perk. There is the risk of being exhausted on the floor but that's just a issue with their servers and not a perk issue. They will fix it and than that wont happen anymore. Only way to counter DH is by respecting it which most of the time is not possible. Most of the time survivors are just gonna DH to a pallet or a window where they wouldn't make it to without DH. It counters 50% of all killer abilitys and you cant counter that (only deathslinger can). Imagine playing trapper and the survivor is just using DH to go through your trap and you just have to pick it up to go through there lol.
Yes the devs are not gonna do anything, biggest playerbase of the game are survivor mains. DH is one of the most used survivor perks and you see it literally every game, by nerfing it they would just make their playerbase angry, those players that they get the most money from. But I'm still allowed to say my opinion about it, even tho nothing is gonna change by me complaining.

Then DH should get a cooldown aswell and not be a exaustion perk since both DH and HO don’t give a sprint burst according to your logic.
Do you even understand what I'm saying? I'm just saying that other exhaustion perks don't need a nerf because they just give you distance and no second chances for just pressing a button, HO is the only perk that doesn't give you a Sprintburst with DH. But that doesn't mean that booth perks are too weak. DH gives you 3 second chances per game for just pressing a button and counters most killer abilitys with no counterplay to it. Only way to counter DH is respect it which you just cant do most of the time. HO just stuns the killer after jumping in a locker and waiting 4 seconds to jump in his face. I mean its a funny troll perk but does need a buff because its not good at all.
Can this just be a normal discussion without you even reading what I'm typing, please stop acting like a 5 year old or just stop typing some ######### in the forums.

Start complaining about DH when (if) they fix that then. And by your logic they should nerf Head On too, since it doesn’t give you a sprint burst.
I never said they should nerf HO, I only said that HO is the only other add-ons than DH that gives you no sprint burst.
I would actually say HO needs a buff. It is okay for things like getting out of the basement and so on. But usually it is just a funny perk for fun plays but not really good. I think they should remove the exhaustion from HO. It should instead get a 20 second cooldown. The cooldown is only there because of the fact that survivor could trap killer in a stun animation. 2 Survivors could just keep stunning him infront of a locker for the rest of the game and he cant move while the others do gens. On Silent Hill there are a lot of lockers just standing infront of each other and the killer would always be scared in hallways to get trapped with HO.

I actually don't mind playing her since the change.
Thhe funniest part of this to me is that you're saying "Nurse is so boring to play" and "you only have 2 builds, recharge or omegablink." Just a suggestion here, maybe you'd be having more fun on her if you weren't limiting yourself to the two most boring builds.
The problem is that there are no other builds. The other builds are just making her a worse killer than playing nurse with no add-ons. Many add-ons have great ideas but they still messed it up, example Pocket Watch. You have more time charging your chain blinks, the problem is that this time is only 0.2 seconds. And it just keeps going with these kind of add-ons. Or just straight up troll / meme add-ons that make her worse than without add-ons. Thats totally not what a add-on should do. Only the blink recharge and the blink range add-ons are reliable good add-ons that you could use. I tried all new add-ons since her rework and tried out a lot of different add-on combos. I made experience with all of those add-ons and I can say that there are just no other good add-ons that you could use.

@DaGreenBolt said:
Honestly, the cooldown should be removed, because there is literally no reason to have when basekit nurse was fine.
Though if the devs want to keep the cooldown, then it should be reworked so that when you're not in a chase, there is no cooldown for blinks, but when in a chase there will be cooldowns for blinks. That way, it gives Nurse back her map pressure before the rework.
Its not even the map presure she still has insanely strong map presure. It is just that it is not needed. Why would you make a not needed cooldown that just makes her unfun to play and causes a lot of bugs. It doesn't even help balancing without blink recharge add-ons your chases are only gonna take 4 seconds longer.

guys dont be mad at me for dropping some facts.
as a veteran dbd player with over 3k. 1 of the strongest players in dbd on both sides, im very competitive person and in every game i play for over 25years.
i can say honestly that nurse is probably not the best killer in the game because she is very map dependent as well. but she is on the highest tier on the list of the killers.
meaning she can put a decent fight against top tier survivors which you will probably never witness to see because i believe that actually less than 100 players are top tier survivors. there is decent survivors, good survivors and top tier, sometimes you might confuse yourself with decent and good survivor in thinking is a top tier while is not, top tier survivors are survivors who abused the game to the point where they know how to deal with everything and every situation and waste as much time as possible. for example not running in circles when u know that u will be hit for half health damage because u can keep the extra speed for more distance etc.. which means no killer can actually beat top tier 4men which is fine because 4 brains vs 1 is just make sense. but she will dominate the decent and lower ranks survivors if the nurse is a top tier player.
and i play nurse well but im not main nurse. but honestly the cooldown is just bad design. the nerf was fine until they touch her basekit, in fact they could just make her blinks shorter and upgrade the range blinks addons and u will have a great killer once again.
Nurse is the strongest killer in the game. From the current state of the game nurse is the only killer who has a chance to win against a really strong genrushing SWF. Not even a good spirit can stop them. Nurse ignores any kind of defense survivors have (including walls). Giving survivors no counterplay against a nurse that knows what she's doing. There is no discussion about it she is the strongest killer in the game.
She is also not map depended. She can play on outdoor maps same as indoor, multiple floor maps and so on. The only bad maps might be corn maps but that's only for beginners. More experienced nurse players like me can tell you that corn is not really a problem unless you are still learning nurse. The only bad map for nurse is lerys. But getting that one exact map is quite rare and map offerings exists. And even tho it is really hard it is still possible to beat survivors on lerys, even tho it takes a lot of experience.
The cooldown is just dumb. She already had a cooldown (fatigue stun) and they just add a cooldown on top of that. If you have no recharge add-ons which is usually not the case a chase would take you only 4 seconds more than before. So the cooldown doesn't even help balancing at all. The only thing what it does is make nurse unfun to play. It causes a lot of bugs which makes her even more unfun to play.
It is a really bad idea to make her blinks shorter and give her omega blink a buff. That would just make her add-on depended.

@dspaceman20 said:
Can anyone explain more about how nurse was in the past before she got Nerfed. Was she overpowered and really needed it or was she fine with counters?
She had no cooldown. She wasn't as buggy as today. And her add-ons werent trash. I mean she was really strong but didnt need a nerf because of her being the hardest killer in the game. The only thing that did need a nerf were additional blink add-ons and omega blink. Omega Blink allowed you to cover the most parts of maps. And had no downside. Your blinks charged faster because of that and on low distances survivors had no time to juke your blinks. With additional blink add-ons you could have up to 5 blinks and when nurse was new to the game about 4 years ago she could have 7 blink. They only had to nerf omega blink and additional blink add-ons because these add-ons were just TOO OP and gave no counterplay. It took no skill and you wouldnt get punished for making a mistake. But instead of nerfing just these add-ons they gave her a annoying cooldown ontop of a already existing cooldown (fatigue time). That cooldown only makes chases 4 seconds longer and causes a lot of bugs but doesnt help balancing at all, it is just unfun to play and not needed. 90% of her add-ons are completely trash or just straight up troll add-ons. Only the blink range and the blink recharge add-ons are reliable. As I already mentioned now she is just a buggy mess.

I disagree the game isn't her best map. Some areas of the bottom part function as a line of site maze and her counterplay is denying her los. I think the game is a decent map for nurse but defo not best. Worst map for me is lerys.
yes lerys is by far the worst map. I mean everyone has its own opinion, usually the game is just known to be the best nurse map but I also don't think so I would say silent hill is better (if you would exclude the deadzones on silent hill)

You’re basing your arguments on something that is yet to come. And to me there’s nothing to fix. It’s latency. That’s how dedicated servers work lol of all the things that annoy me as a killer, DH is definitely not one of them.
Obviously DH is gonna counter every killer, it’s a exaustion perk.
You are wrong with the first one, the devs once said in a QA livestream that they are gonna work on dedicated servers so survivors dont get hit from 500 miles away. It is gonna work somehow that if a killer hits a survivor but the hit delay is too long ago or something it will just not let the hit through even tho it was hitting on the killer perspective. I'm not 100% sure how it works but it was something about that, it is just that they even said it themselves that they are gonna work on fixing these dedication problems and that will also fix DH.
Other exhaustion perks are mostly giving you speed boosts to gain more distance. Sprintburst, Lithe, etc... these exhaustion perks just give you more distance and no second chances (excluding HO, it doesn't give you a sprintburst). DH instead gives you 3 second chances per game and takes no skill, you press E and you are not getting punished for doing a mistake or just not giving the killer his deserved kill. Baiting DH is most of the time not possible, especially if you don't play an M1 killer.

I started playing dbd after her rework and maining her a few months later. I absolutely love nurse despite all her bugs and I have learnt to play around them. Of course it should not be like this but well, it is what it is.
I don't agree with people thinking she is weak. I can imagine she was more appealing before, and she is perhaps more difficult to learn now more than ever. But once you learn her to a proper level, you are a ######### god. She is still the best killer in the game and the most balanced one in my opinion.
You and I, we both made posts regarding her bugs. Hope they'll see them. It is about time. Also her addons need some attention as well. As for this moment the are only 4 addons truly viable on her. Ultra Rare ones are completely useless, instead they should be the more powerful ones. We can only hope.
Still, despite her addons being bad and all of her bugs, if you have skill with her she is lethal. She is the best killer in the game and the one that rewards skill the most. I'll never grow tired of playing her
You are just speaking true facts totally have to agree on all of that. I never hear people say she is weak but I hear people say she is not the strongest, people think freddy and spirit are stronger because they tried nurse a very few games and just werent good with her. Or they never even tried nurse but always play against baby nurses.
Her add-ons really need changes. I mean only 4 add-ons that are good, basically two because these add-ons only have 2 different effects, 2 of them are blink recharge the other 2 are blink range. Not even the strongest killer should have that. You can remove her not needed cooldown and give her more than just straight up troll add-ons and fix their bugs without making her too OP. Because she was never too strong. She is really strong but thats fine because she is the hardest killer in the game and the only thing this killer does is reward practice and skill. The only thing they had to change were additional blink add-ons and omega blink. Instead they made a buggy mess out of her, ruined all her add-ons and made her unfun to play with that not needed cooldown.

You described the 1% scenario where DH actually works. If you played killer well you’d know how easy is to bait a DH.
I play killer really often same as survivor.
And another guy that uses this as an argument: dEaD hArD dOeSnT eVeN wOrK
Dude you are literally arguing against yourself, as soon as they fix dedication with their servers DH is gonna be even stronger.
As a Killer Main I can also say that you can bait DH yes and its not hard, but thats really siutational. Most of the time they are just gonna DH to a window or pallet and you cant bait that. DH counters most killer abilitys.
List of killers that gets countered by DH:
Trapper (you can DH for his traps)
Hillbilly (when he chainsawsprints right at you than you can just DH away)
Nurse (when the survivor is not 5 meters away you cant bait it, what you can do is use your first blink to get to them, let them DH and blink again. But if the survivor is not really close to you they can just double back on your first blink since it has to be directly on them to bait their DH)
Huntress (if you throw a hatchet at a survivor he can just DH and dodge it, there is no way to bait that)
Doctor (you can DH through his shock to avoid getting stunned and still be able to throw down the pallet)
Plague (you can dodge her vomit by using DH to get behind an object)
Demogorgon (you can DH as soon as he jumps on you)
Oni (when he has his ability you can just DH as soon as he is locked in the animation of him throwing his dildo at the ground)
Deathslinger (you can DH to dodge his weapon, the killer can just keep aiming at you but not shot until you use it yes, you have to DH behind an object where he cant get you anymore)
Pyramidhead (you can DH to dodge his range attack)
DH counters exactly 50% of all killers and you cant bait it with the killer ability (excluding deathslinger)
I wouldn't have to explain all of this to you if you would've read my post :D

He is not very fun to play, especially since he is reliant on his addons or perks, at minimum he needs buffed, the rework is just an idea to make him more unique.
I have to agree on that. As I also said he is add-on depended on the windstorm add-on. He also isn't really unique just a stealth killer.

He is the weakest killer in the game... his power gives no advantage in chases where as every other killer can use their power in a chase to their advantage, at least this way he can move around incredibly easily while still fitting his lore.
He is totally not the weakest killer in the game. He might have been a few months / a year ago. But Tru3ta1ent showed his real potential. He might be a little bit add-on depended (windstorm) but basically he is a really strong killer. I only make good experience with him same as others. He is a killer that can move really fast through the map with no terror radius. Surprise survivors by just coming around corners and uncloaking. He has some really strong add-ons like the clapper add-ons. If survivors gain a lot of distance after you hit them the first time you can just close it up really fast. In chases you can get infront of the survivor easily because you are fast and body block them while they are trying to get to a window or a pallet, same thing what you would do with legion while unfrenzying. After he uncloaks you gain a speed boost which can allow you to get free hits on pallet loops that are not that big. He is a really strong killer and totally not the weakest in the game, thats clown : D
-
I mean his invisibility is not even a thing you can still see survivor, the thing that makes him so strong is just that he can move really fast, with windstorm add-ons even faster and he has no terror radius. He can sneak up on people and just uncloak around a corner. With the yellow or pink clapper add-on you can basically get free hits and he is like a better version of ghostface.

A friend and I have been working over this rework idea for wraith in our heads. We are open to feedback especially on what to do with his perks.
Increase Wraith's terror radius, this is to balance the below changes.
Give the wraith true invisibilty from a distance while cloaked (if Freddy can have it, so can Wraith)
Allow Wraith to attack, but not down survivors, while invisible. Attacking while cloaked will de-cloak you and apply a cooldown to cloaking.
Allow wraith to teleport to totems while invisible. 60-75 second cooldown without add-ons. This is to give him a bit more map pressure and unpredictability while also allowing it to be disabled easily.
These ideas might not even be that bad, but to be honest he doesn't need any changes. He is a strong killer (In my opinion A tier) and is fine for booth sides. I mean he can just go invisible with no terror radius and be fast and than uncloaking and he has been the same for 4 years. He might not be a really creative killer but I think he should stay the same.

I hate when people complain about someone saying something they never said. Did you even bother to read past the first couple of sentences? I specifically said my issue wasn't with a killer slugging in that situation. I specifically said I understood the strategy. I said my problem was when the survivor just lays in the same spot and doesn't attempt to move after being slugged.
So perhaps if you want to talk about someone not having the right to complain about something it would be the person that decided to read the first paragraph of something and then condemn the person that wrote it based on an assumption of what they thought the rest of it said without ever reading it.
I was talking about people that complain about it. You didn't do it and your post was about something else yes. I just posted that because usually if you talk about slugging for a 4k you are just gonna come across some idiots that just complain, and those people are most of the time the same that just kill themselves so their teammate gets the hatch. I just said that because that's what I think about it and what I say to people that complain about it. But to be honest that was my fault because it was clearly not visible in my post. It actually looks like I didn't read it ngl.

No literally every map BHVR adds there is at least 3 dead zones where you blink through the floor it's actually tilting. I remember when Gideon Meat Plant had a full 2 rooms that were essentially dead zones for a while. I'm referring to where you actually get stuck inside of objects or outside the map. That ######### is frustrating.
Most maps I have zero issues 4k'ing without addons it's literally just a handful of maps that hinder me not because it's even a big map but because I get stuck inside of a wall or something.
Only thing we can do is just wait for BHVR to maybe fix something.

As a PS4 player I obviously saw this strategy fairly frequently even before crossplay. Since crossplay started though..... Wow! Almost every single game I have played if it gets down to 2 survivors the killer is going to slug the 3rd survivor.
While I think there is something that needs to change in that scenario it isn't that killers do it. It's a legit strategy and I understand why they do it.
The thing that needs to change is the slugged survivor.
Why do so many slugged survivors in that situation stay in exactly the same spot? They might spin circles, but they don't actually move anywhere. The moment the other survivor heals you the killer knows since your icon is going to show you are no longer on the ground. Where do you think they are going to look first?
If you guessed the spot you got slugged you guessed correctly. That's the last spot they saw you, and for reasons I can't begin to understand most survivors never move from that spot. By not moving from the spot you are basically handing the killer a 2 for 1 special, especially a killer that has the ability to instadown.
If you move somewhere else you buy yourself some time. You might even buy yourself enough time that you can be healed completely instead of just long enough to get to your feet if the killer actually has to look for you, plus people like me aren't even going to attempt to heal you if you are going to sit in the same spot you got slugged. You're just making both survivors flashing neon advertisements to the killer if they try to help you.
I hate when people complain about this. Survivors kill themselves ALWAYS on the hook, literally every single time so the last one gets the hatch. And than they complain about why killers slug for a 4k. MHHHHH WHY DO THEY MAYBE DO THIS? Just think about it. You have no rights to complain. You guys did this. Its your fault. If you would stop kill youself every single time so the last one gets the hatch they would also not slug.

I'm fine with basekit Nurse but wouldn't complain if her blink had a few quality of life changes.
Main problem I have with her is maps with a lot of dead zones or multiple floors. The new school is so frustrating to play on because I've had instances where I've blinked below the map and that's specifically has cost me the game. I can get back up but by the time I do they're gone and I've lost momentum on such a massive map. Main thing with Nurse is blinking between multiple floors is frustrating especially out of the basement sometimes. If they could somehow find a perfect compromise for that I would give a ######### less about the addons personally. Granted I don't use them but that's my biggest annoyance as a Nurse picker. Multi floor maps and dead zones usually on newer maps.
I'll asume you are new to nurse or just still learn her ;D. Multiple floor maps are actually the best maps for the nurse. Thats why the game is the best map for her. In my opinion Silent Hill is the new best map, there is only one compromise which makes that map not as good as the game for nurse. These deadzones are literally everywhere, you are not the only one who has that problem, EVERYONE who plays nurse has them. Also because of some buggy deadzones you can get blinked into the basement, it can get really annoying. I mean OF COURSE BHVR when I do a fully charged blink and look straight up I totally intend to go to the basement.

I tell you why: the nurse popularity completly went downhill. She was already not popular pre nerf due to the high skill ceiling. And so many nurse mains dropped her instantly after the nerf (like I did) and never touched her. She became the least played killer in the game.
Why should bhvr waste money into fixing a killer noone wants to play anyway? They will just instead release cosmetics for Nurse to get the best out of this as long as possible.
Ye you are kind of right, quite sad but true no one plays her so theres no money to get. They don't even make cosmetics btw I would love more cosmetics but there aren't any. I'm not sure but the last cosmetic came out about when she got reworked (I might be wrong).

Not what I said or implied I mentioned nurse is good designed killer which is a strong killer when played right also huntress which is the same. You are known for you heavily killer biased comments no one takesnylu seriously go away.
Totally have to agree to this.

@MandyTalk I am not sure if there are any rules about pinging, I couldn't find any if there are I'm sorry. I would love to hear something about this, can you say something about? Like if there is anything planed about changes for the nurse, or if there is something planed but you cant tell us or anything. I would be really happy about an response. I heard you usually answer people.

@azame said:
As it stands right now we got Deathslinger, PH the last to killers have no counterplay. The devs are most likely gonna do the same for the upcoming killer and genrushing will become even more prevalent.
The devs wont focus on survivor when they make the killers and it's obvious. They really need to make a better designed killer like oni, new bubba, billy huntress, nurse. They got to stop only thinking of one side. The game is becoming stale and very uninteresting.
I was to say the last few killers were really poorly designed or not really creative. Old killers were better like Huntress, Nurse, Hillbillys, etc.... the old killers were way better designed than the newer ones. I think they start running out of ideas and from now on only bring licensed ones. But I don't really think that no counterplay has to be something bad. This game is a 1v4, so the 4 survivors should be equal as strong as the one killer. And one survivor should not be able to 1v1 a killer. At the moment if a survivor is really strong and makes no mistakes at all while pallet looping and you play against a killer like wraith the survivor can easily 1v1 the killer. Even if the killer plays really well there would be nothing the killer can do and than the killer has no counterplay too. And its better if survivors have no counterplay in chases than killers. That's because the killer is the one and the survivors are the four. You can also just try not even getting into a chase and if you get a chase you will not be able to 1v1 these killers with "no counterplay". But you will still be able to waste his time. And if you think about it every killer should be like the last ones. I just don't understand why everyone is complaining about no counterplay. Since this game is out the killers have ALWAYS been the weaker role in the game. About 2019 was the most balanced time. And now since the ruin nerf the killers are again weaker. And survivors now start complaining about killers because the last ones have no counterplay in chases. That just shows they don't even think about how this game should actually be like. They are just used to survivors being stronger and start complaining if killers are starting to get strong too.

I agree the cooldown needs work. Right now it's either you run the cooldown addons or the range addons. The rest are trash, and even if they weren't a bugged mess they still wouldn't be anywhere near the CD addons. As long as she has a cooldown (and it can be cut down by 50%) it will always be the goto addons and nothing else is useable.
Now the addons suck, the killer sucks without them, everything is off. I desperately hope they're working on her in the background.
Yes Cooldown needs to be removed, bugs needs to be fixed and her add-ons need a rework again. What I suggest is give her old add-ons back, just change the OP add-ons. Omega Blink should give you a longer fatigue stun so the survivors gains more distance and you cant just instantly close it back up. Or just change the old omega blink with the current one, the current one is strong yes but it is fine. And remove additional blink add-ons nurse should always only have 2 blinks, I have no ideas at the moment about them what they could do instead. But you can come up with something creative and fun to play which is also balanced.
-
@OrangeJack said:
I've only mained post-nerf nurse.
I think she's still a strong killer but her bugs make her annoying to play tbh.
There are still deadzones and random objects that you can't blink through in some maps especially the newest one.
I think cooldowns are a lazy mechanic for balancing. The devs need to be more creative than just locking the killer out of their power for x amount of time. and unlike other killers nurse is completely dependent on her blinks for everything.
This is already on top of a stationary, obscured vision fatigue.
Yes she is still the strongest killer in the game, some people say spirit is stronger but they never actually faced a strong nurse who mastered her. And those people are instantly starting to complain the first time they face one of those nerfs. The problem is they don't understand why spirit needs a nerf and nurse doesn't, its just that spirit doesn't take skill but nurse does. And they also don't complain to the devs they directly complain to me after they play against me lol.
But now to the nurse problems the bugs are the main thing they need to nerf by far, bugs are completely okay and its the most logical thing that they are in games. But its not okay if those bugs DONT GET FIXED. I just edited my post because I just looked like 5 mins ago how many bugs they fixed since her rework. They fixed a total of 4 bugs the past 10 months since her rework, one bug was a really rare bug where you get stuck in the hill, its good that they fix it but as I said you can just blink out of it again and it is really rare so they should be focusing on different bugs. The other one was a mori animation bug with jane.... And another one was on silent hill, they tried to fix the deadzones in that one hallway but they failed because the deadzone is still stopping you from blinking through it, they just made it a little bit easier to blink through it from some specific angles and thats it. The other bug was a bug that allowed you on silent hill to blink out of map and it is really good they fixed that.
Ye I kind of agree with that cooldowns are just lazy. I mean the nurse still had a cooldown, it was the fatigue stun and I think they forgot about it. The cooldown is longer for lunching (1s longer) and for any blink it gets longer (0.5s for every blink, the first blink is 2s stun, 2 blinks 2.5, 2 blinks and lunching 3.5 and so on). They just add a cooldown that doesn't help balancing at all and just causes bugs making her unfun to play. If it was needed yes but the only thing they had to change was her OP add-ons (additional blinks, Omega Blink) and that was it.

Yes the other things might be fun in some ways. In my opinion they should still get changes but the main issue are the bugs. I mean you cant tell me that they just don't fix any bugs in the past 10 months since her rework. They totally don't care about this killer anymore.

It is just boring to play stealthy. You will not have chases you will just be hiding the entire game. Ruining the experience for your teammates and the killer. A killer will try to get you out of the game and just tunnel you because after he finds you once he will probably not find you again. Its just boring if the killer has to search for ages. And there are pallets windows everything on maps that are helping you in chases. So playing survivor is not designed to actually stealth. It might've been in 2016, but the state of the game and the meta changes. Some cosmetics are really hard to see but others are also really easy to see. That has nothing to do with stealthing its just a coincidence that some cosmetics for survivors like claudette are harder to see than for other survivors. And even claudette has bright cosmetics. I mean of course you can play stealthy. But others can of course also punish you for playing like that and tunnel or camp you, you shouldn't be surprised if other players hate people like you that play that way (including me). Just play the game like everyone else and stop being boring.

Talking about interaction with Iron Will.
Just make Iron Will completely negate Stridor, as it was intended from the beginning. Why should one perk completely counter another?
Boom! Easy solution, no?
As i said. Spirit is fine, but her interaction with Stridor isn't.
No these changes are just stupid.
Stridor doesn't need a nerf. It is Spirit who needs a nerf.
Its not the Spirit has no counterplay, Nurse also doesn't have any. But Nurse doesn't need a nerf even tho she isn't balanced. Spirit does need a nerf tho.
That's because of following reason:
Nurse is by far the strongest killer in the game and the only killer that can destroy a really strong swf, not even Spirit can do that. But she doesn't need changes because she is by far the hardest killer in the game to learn. Its easy to juke her and you need a lot of time practicing to learn the blink ranges exactly and to counter the jukes. So by learning such a hard killer you should also get rewarded and nurse HAS TO BE the strongest killer. You will not face many god nurses while playing. Really few ppl play her, most players quit playing her since her rework because she is just a buggy mess now. There are almost no god nurse's like me left that still main her and play her really active.
Now lets talk about Spirit. Spirit is not as strong as nurse but she is the second strongest killer in the game. You don't need any skill at all. You maybe need like 2 - max 5 games and you should already be able to play her. And you just get a really strong killer with a lot of value for no skill at all. Everyone can just play her. You face really many spirits on high MMR and they are most of the time not even good. The only reason they get a high rank / MMR is because they win for no skill. Most spirits are completely garbage and rely on playing only that killer to be good. Many times you are losing not because the killer is better, but because the killer is a spirit. If Spirit would take more skill she would also be fine or just not need a nerf that bad. They have to nerf spirit. Some of her add-ons but mainly her basekit.
There are 80 survivor Perks and only one of them counters Spirit which is Iron Will (sorry if I'm wrong but Iron will is the only perk I can think of that is a counter, there might be some more perks).
There are 72 Killer Perks and only one of those counters ONE survivor perk that counters ONE killer. Stridor is totally not the problem a problem and it's also not a good perk and doesn't need changes.
Usually you can hear survivors good enough Stridor is only good for countering Iron Will. And if the survivors don't even have that perk its just a empty perk slot. It shouldn't get nerfed just because its strong on one single killer.

You sound like you're still new to the game if Dead Hard is a problem for you.
Survivors gain 3 second chances every game by using DH.
yOu CaN jUsT rEsPeCt It. No you cant. It is really situational and in most of the times survivors are just gonna DH to a pallet or a window and delay the loop even more for just pressing one single button which takes no skill.
DH also counters most killer abilitys. Gorgons jump, Huntress Hatchets, Nurse Blinks, Trappers Traps, etc...
If all 4 survivors run it they just gain 12 second chances and you have to kill them the double amount of times than you would usually have to.
eXhAuStEd On ThE gRoUnD. As soon as they fix dedicated servers it will be even stronger. You cant use that as an argument it is just arguing against you. (Many ppl still use that argument)
DH is not fine the way it is. I play this game since beginning of 2017 and play booth sides (A little more killer than survivor). I also stopped using DH myself. One reason of course that it doesn't work often. But also because its just crutch. Takes no skill and its just unfair for the killer.

Yes I think HO shouldnt be an exhaustion perk. But the problem is if you have 2 survivors and the killer is infront of a locker you can just keep stunning him for the entire game and trap him. xD
Maybe like a 10 second cooldown or something and no exhaustion.

It is really situational and you can just wait for them to DH most of the time when they DH to a window or a pallet.

Imo DH needs to be changed! Ever since I stopped playing Spirit religiously and improved my gameplay with other killers and got better at mindgaming, DH is a perk that tells killers "######### you for playing your cards right" and killers "HAVE TO CAPITALIZE ON SURVIVORS MISTAKES"
As a survivor I stopped using DH because it felt like a crutch that wasn't improving my looping gameplay!
I feel that DH needs to be changed to maybe a 1 time use perk or something
Yes if you could use it one time it would be balanced. I mean thats still 4 second chances if all of them run it which can be strong. But its not just 12.

If you wait for killer to swing you'll get dedicated and get exhausted on the ground 100% of the time. It's not as easy as pressing E especially when the killer can just wait for you to use your deadhard by getting close to you without swinging.
Thats right, but many times as I already said he just cant respect it. Its just situational. DH can counter most of the killer abilitys. Nurses blinks. Huntress Hatchets. Gorgons Jump. Trappers Traps. Pheads range attack. Deathslingers weapon. Billys chainsaw. Yes many times you are exhausted on the ground. But its dumb to use that as an arguement as soon as they fix dedication with their servers it will be even stronger. You are just kind of arguing against yourself with that.

All Exhaustion perks are overpowered. Every Exhaustion perk removes the ability to punish a survivor out of position. It removes the ability to punish playing greedy. That isn't really balanced. But it is what it is :)
If you're thinking Dead Hard sucks because you just bait it or it doesn't work half the time, I'm not surprised you don't think it's strong - clearly you've never seen or used it properly yourself. After all, what's another loop or two, which can then pull you to another loop, that DH buys you in the long run, right?
I mean every exhaustion perk can be strong yes. But I think DH is the only one that should get changes. The others are situational and are not really second chance perks. They just make you gain more distance which can be strong. But it is a exhaustion perk you cant use it every time so it also should be that way. DH is different than the others it just gives you 3 second chances for just pressing a button.

Dead Hard gives you 3 second chances per game. If all 4 survivors run it which is often the case you have to kill them the double amount of time. Some times you are exhausted on the floor yes. But as soon as they fix that dedication with their servers it will be even stronger. You can respect Dh yes but many times you just cant. If they DH to a pallet or a window for example. If they dodge a Hatchet. If you blink to them as nurse. If they Dh through your traps as trapper. If you jump on them as gorgon. There are just really many situations where you cant respect it. Time is everything for a killer and if survivors can just waste so much time by just using that perk you don't really have much chances to win even tho you are playing not that bad. This has nothing to do with him complaining because he is bad. You are just talking bullshit right there you don't even know how he plays. Did you even ever think about this perk? Do you even play booth sides in this game? Or are you just someone who plays strictly survivor and just wants to keep his 3 second chances every game?

Man I love coming to these forums for these nutty killer main posts
How is that a killer main post? He is kind of right with that. Hex Perks give you some value for basically doing nothing you just have it. For example you are running ruin and you get some good value off it by running it. But at the same time for the rest of the game you are playing with a empty perk slots once its gone. And there is a chance that it breaks in 10 seconds. But it can also last the entire game. It would be a great idea to do the same with exhaustion perks. That would just be the fairest option. You can use your Lithe once to get a lot of distance in a chase and make it way longer. But you can only do that once perk game and still got a lot of value of it since time is really important for the killer. By just saying things like that you are just straight up toxic and also just proofed that you are only playing one side of this game (Survivor) and have no understanding of killer.
