Why are you rescuing survivors off the hook when they're being hard camped and tunnelled? The 'punishment' is getting as many gens done as possible. I'm one of those survs that's happy to sit on a hook in front of a camper if you do the gens, but what has been happening more often is someone rushing to save me as soon as they can. So instead of having a few minutes for 3 survs to finish gens I'm killed faster and only 2 survs are on gens.
The reason killers camp is because they've found it works, in their experience someone always comes for the save.

And no survivor is going to try to do 3 gens when the hatch is there because survivirs have a history of refusing to work for anything.
It takes 4 mins for one survivor to do 3 gens, and that's only if the killer isn't kicking them to make them regress. Do you really want to be in a match where the last survivor is sneaking around for 10 mins so they can do all 3 gens then open the gates? And some of us do try to finish the gens, twice I've been the last surv with one gen to finish and I done it because the killers camped the hatch. One of those times I got the hatch and one of those times I got out the exit gate.

At the very LEAST, the killer should be able to close the hatch with no way to reopen it unless they use a pink or purple key. Survivirs always say they need a chance to survive which is why they get the hatch. Well guess what. If the killer finds the hatch and closes it, that WAS your, oh so deserved chance of escape, and you blew it. Survivirs need to start understanding that they are not entitled to a free +7000 bp escape every time
And where are they getting the key from? Killing the survivor BEFORE they got to the hatch was also your last chance. Just like survivors aren't entitled to escape every time, killers aren't entitled to 4k.
While I appreciate your ideas on a hatch rework I don't think some of them would be balanced. Just my opinion.
Hatch standoffs are stupid, I don't do them as a surv or killer as I'd rather just move on to the next game. If the killer gets to the hatch same time I did I didn't move fast enough. While I know you don't like the hatch the truth is if there was no hatch a large percentage of last-standing survivors would dc or creep around holding you in the match.

@TruEternity yes but how does one git gud at nurse? I've tried many times to do so but I guess I suck with her? Idk man is she add on reliant or something?I'm only ok with nurse, but the first games I played I didn't even worry about trying to get kills. I just practised blinking and chain blinking, if I caught a survivor great. It probably also helped that the first 3 times I played nurse RNG hated me and put me in The Game.

If you're really going to play that way I'd prefer you AFK, yes I'd stay for a few once all the gens are done but it's usually out of morbid curiosity to see which killer it is and I've never stayed more than a few minutes or teabagged if I found them, though so far it's usually been a wraith.

Have you considered playing the game and then DCing at the end when they escape / are going to escape? I think that's the fairest way to de-rank for everyone involved. So I use addons to play normally and then DC and dont get any BP?
Seems like a really bad idea. And you have to realize that I derank in order not to get bullied, playing would defeat this purpose
You do realise that some survivors derank on purpose also?

iceman2kx said:You know, when I first started this game and I had <30 hours as killer, I use to hate SWFs that brought high ranking teammates into the round. I use to get bullied, looped for days, gen rushed and pretty much 0K those rounds with the exception of sometimes killing the low ranking teammates.
I'm still not saying it doesn't suck for new killers to face these types of SWFs, because it definitely does. It takes a lot of the fun out of it especially when you jump out of the 15->20 baby bracket. On the flipside, facing survivors with half a brain and decent perks really helped me improve as killer. At one point, a "killer switch" just flipped and I started to actually do decent and learned to mind game survivors. I was able to easily soar to rank 1 thanks to these improvements over time.
I know it's not the salt you are looking for, but hang in there it does get better.
It doesn't get better. Other survivors can mess up your game if you are going solo. It's a fact.
And other survivors can save the day. I've been saved by a random Dwight bodyblocking for me while I got an RBT off my head (last box I checked) and ran out the door the Dwight opened before saving me, killer just made the wrong choice going to the other door on the other side of the map to chase the other one out if they had 1 sec more they probably would have got me again. I've also been farmed off the hook and my match ended in 1 minute in a solo match. Part of the fun playing solo is seeing how well you can work together as a team. And part of the fun playing SWF is seeing how we all mess up sometimes.

She's a killer who rewards players who have the necessary skill to use her. There's definitely killers who need to be buffed but not to a point of being on her levelOnce you learn to blink she's not that hard, you barely even have to think when you play her. Unless you're in The Game atm. I know everyone likes to thinks she's the hardest killer to play. She has the most difficult killer ability to learn but once you're even somewhat good at it she's easy. I only play her when I have to because it's boring being able to kill survivors so quickly.

For those saying it wasn't in the patch notes. It's definitely there:
BALANCE
Adjusted and shortened all Killer interrupt animations
Killers with a 4.4 m/s move speed (The Hag, The Huntress and The Spirit) now lunge at the same speed as other killers.
Adjusted the collision surrounding the Huntress' hatchets so it is more accurate to their shapeIt's possible they might tweak it again if they feel it's still not working properly.
-
Does that make it global though? Yes, you can't discern the distance, but I thought it was (without the clapper) getting quieter the more you were away from it. However, my first sentence still stands.
I played vs Wraith last night, it definitely sounded global. Could here him cloak/uncloak but it always sounded like it was extremely close, even if he was nowhere around.
-
It's only for a split second. The killer could hit the survivor while they were still stuck in animation before, now they can't. You just have to wait until the survivor can move now before you swing. As far as I understand, once the survivor can move they can take damage again.

Doesn't really look like bot behaviour to me. He couldn't catch you in that area so he watched you and when you looked like you were going to move off he moved and you went back to the pallet. It looks like he was hoping to catch you then gave up when he couldn't.
I know you said you were rank 3, but what rank was the killer? -
I agree with the above. 3 is just a no-go. My reasoning you’re going to have survivors hiding in a corner somewhere for 80 secs with the killer having an entire map to scour for them with no clues to where they could be. Whispers would now become a necessity. If you want to add that 80 secs at the end you need to give the survivors another objective during that time so that they’re moving around and the killer has a chance to see them or know what area they’ll be searching.
