See where this is going? Do not give players control over who will be their murderer.
I guess lol I'm just a casual player. I just want killers like Myers and PH instead of hillbilly or huntress

So what are the first things that go through your mind when you see a no mither load into your match while playing killer? How about survivor?
I personally have been running it for a couple weeks on nearly all my matches and have seldom seen much difference in how the games ended. Note I still do take quite a bit of chase and some rare cases a vast majority of the chase (this is red ranks for anyone who cares). I have kinda come to realize that it provides a much different experience within the game.
I think it's a build that can work good with the right complimentary perks. Obviously if you're still a newbie you shouldn't use it.
It's not something I would run all the time but as a fun gimmick build once in a while

This game has a really weird and toxic community. Just ignore it

I'm playing as fair as I can here but Nemesis greatest Weakness is the "Hold W" meta which kills pressure. I haven't won/4K any of my games as being a good Nemesis killer. I just get 4Ks as Nemesis because Survivors were bad or I played by Camping and Slugging.
I honestly don't know how people can call Nemesis as B tier which is the same tier as Hillbilly(for me). Nemesis is not good at anything. Nemesis is not mobile. Currently He is not good at Chases. Oh what's that you say? You disagree that he is good at chases?
Maybe I'm Blind but Survivors intentionally getting close while I whip out the tentacle and missing because the Hitbox of the tentacle is crap should not be a thing. To Effectively use him you need to hit people 3 times with the tentacle which gives speed boost for the first 2 times, In a Hold W meta this is just unfun. Nemesis has the worst add ons I have ever seen on a Killer ever as nothing is worth bringing there. You may say that Killing Zombies for Mutation Add Ons are good but tier 3 is just an extra meter length for the tentacle and you still need to hit 3 times. Did I also mention that Zombies are useless in outdoor maps, even if the Survivors are near the zombie during chase sometimes the zombie just flat-out ignores the Survivor.
I can even say that Trickster is better right now as he is actually oppressive 1v1 and Survivors can't do ######### against Trickster on short height loops. Nemesis on the other hand can only watch Survivors Holding W to the other side of the map.
I don't see Nemesis being in the same tier as Oni, Demo or Hillbilly. So I don't get how my friends or people keep saying that nemesis is a strong Killer and is B tier. Actual B tier Killer can beat a good SWF but Nemesis can never win against a good SWF.
In my experience you should try to use zombies to get to tier 2 fast as reasonably possible. it’s really difficult with survivors as tier one unless they make a really bad mistake and the ability to quickly destroy pallets is too good to put off till later. Use a mix of zombies and survivors to get to tier 3. Once you get them infected and your mutation to tier 3 you’ll very powerful.

Hi!
I just want to ask you, do you also think that game is more on killer side?
I am not new at this game, so I see how game is changing by years:
- maps are smaller than in past
- pallets are less
- now after last gen we have a time to escape.
What about killers? Does they had some nerfs last time?
I don't realize any nerf on killers or their abilities.
I remember times when DS was working all time, not only for few seconds after being unhooked.
My friend is a new player in that game, and he makes 8 rank in a week. He just play without perks and he saying that he don't really need them (he play as Nemesis). All the time he have 4 kills or 3 if he decided last survivor escape - "if he decided".
Last killers:
- Twins - who can control both gates at the same time - I know that cause I was playing with them a lot.
- Trickster - who is actually like a boosted Huntress, but not that strong like Twins
- Nemesis - he is like a motorbike, very quick and even windows or pallets are not a problem for his tentacle
I don't want you to get me wrong, I am not a guy who after bad game is came to forums to cry, this is all what i noticed by years playing this game.
Cause killers was always quickly than survivors, that why survivors had pallets and windows, but now... we have a lot of killers for who pallets are not a problem - Nurse, Huntress, Legion, Deathslinger, Executioner, Nemesis, Trickster, even Doctor can turn off your ability to drop the pallet. I think that is kinda unfair, cause we - as a survivors - even when we take a Sprint we can run only some seconds and then we have perk on cooldown and we will have to stop running from killer to reset it.
We have a lot of perks what are actually not used in game, cause they are not worth.
Distortion - ok, very nice perk to counter Legion power or BBQ but it have only 3 tokens, why? Does killer's BBQ have only 3 tokens? No. So why perk what counter it have to be less powerfull?
Killer have 4 perks and a power - me 4 perks only.
If he take BBQ for see me and I counter it with Disortion what would be working without tokens - still we both have 3 perks + he have the power.
Ofc. I can hide in a locker but then - killer still is walking on map and he is doing his role, my role then is stopped, cause I can't do my role in a locker.
So:
- maps are smaller
- pallets are less
- we have to escape in some seconds after last gen
- killer is quickly than we
- we can slow killer with pallet or window but actually more killers counter that
- killer have the same number of perks like survivor + he have a power
- killer perks works all the time, survivors not all + survivor can't trully counter killer
I noticed that killers have problem to win only when play vs full 4 SWF - but not every survivior player is playing in a group, maybe maing a 2 queues would be fix that problem with killer-survivor game side?
Uhh no as soon you reach green ranks as killer you’ll know how survivor slanted this game is lol it’s bad for survivors at first. The biggest problem is how fast gen repair is you can’t even do anything before two gens are popped off at best you get a few pallets and one hook (and that’s without powerful tool box addions)
ive been forced to run corrupt intervention as a clutch just to slow the game down

I'm not a social butterfly and i know the mood when you don't want to meet people but play the game. so yeah, i always think that everyone is chilling and not looking for friends.
Share how you got to know people and became their friend 🙂
and ya I’ve befriended people as the killer lol

You can’t be afraid of that stuff. If they don’t wanna be your friend then their loss. Plenty of others will be your friend. You can’t please the world accept that for both this game and real life. Take what you get and leave the rest.

And yet there is no perk to completely counter BBQ. Isn't that ironic? And these perks are nowhere on the level of power as BBQ.
You can’t seriously be complaint about a killer perks. The game is so slanted towards survivors that killers need every advantage they can get

Just trying to do "hook 12 people in the basement" and any time I hook someone there they take it as a personal attack against them and throw a storm of # signs at me in post game. Why are survivors so entitled? Like if a game doesn't end with all 4 survivors teabagging at the exit gate then they're personally offended and start whining. Rank 1 btw, they are easily the most salty.
Well try and look at it this way. Survivors are dependent on having good teammates and they can potentially have the whole game ruined by campers (which can be bad during long ques) Killers only rely themselves and no matter how bad they do they will get to play the game to its conclusion. Survivors mains can be unreasonable a lot but it’s understandable why they might be angry and frustrated more than killer players.
-
And the rest of course is just practice. I used to get juked pretty bad but I’ve learn to counter those.
-
I think that’s actually typical. I streamrolled yellow rank as Micheal where survivors would just let me get Tier Three but then started losing badly as I moved into green where the survivors were smarter and avoided my stalking and hid when I reached Tier Three and so I had to adapt and learned to use M1s more while saving my Tier Three for when I could easily catch them with the one shot. I’m sure I’ll have to do even better as I move into purple and red.
Try and get perks that can slow down the game and give you some breathing room. I think Corrupt Intervention is a must have for a trapping character like well Trapper lol and then there’s perks like Surge and Hex: Ruin (which I would use with something like Hex: Undying). One perk I want but still haven got is Pop goes the Weasel. I can tell it’s a beast perk but I don’t have much interest in the Clown.
Otz who the guy above me shared has me helped me improve my killer game a lot.

I don't really think DBD is a scary game, the characters look somewhat disturbing but overall it doesn't scare me and I hardly jump at it
It has its moments. A sneaky character like Micheal and Ghostface can definitely freak me out and it’s always a tense game. But compared to say Friday The 13th no it’s not that scary.
-
Oh ya I slug when I’m using obsession perks as well. I don’t wanna kill the obsession and wast my perk slots but I don’t just wanna leave him alone. So I down him to slow down the survivors. Simple as that
-
Why do survivor mains always complain about killers trying to win? It’s like they just want us to let them win .Trying to chase down every survivor one at a time guarantees you’ll never win as a killer. You gotta use more strategies than just blindly chasing people. The only complaints I understand are the facecamping camping the hook(area patrolling is okay) and excessive tunneling at the start of the match since those ruin the match for that one guy and are counterproductive for the killer anyways. Every other complaint just makes me think they never play killer lol If you get slugged it’s your fault and your fault alone.
-
I’ve done it when I’ve as noob not realizing it was toxic and now I do it if the games coming to and end to put pressure or simply by accident in the heat of the match. It’s a game there doesn’t have to be a psychological aspect to it lol
-
I have an idea. Make it so that if after you’re hooked a killer tries to pick you up before you’ve had a chance to engage in any action like working on a gen , totems healing or whatever you get to use it. It’ll be for infinite time until they make an action and they can do it again if they somehow are rescued from the second stage. That way it punishes killers who tunnel and gives the survivor a chance to actually do something.

For the post-game lobby, drop a GG in it and hide it. There is no point in letting them tilt you after you just got your @$$ beat. Just appear a good sportsman and let it go.
In the end, good survivors will make a monkey out of a killer. You can watch the jokes of tournaments that have been hosted for DBD to know that. Let defeat be your default condition you're happy with, and savor the wins. You aren't supposed to win in the first place.
Keep your mental clean. Most survivors who go out of their way to be toxic are revealing a weakness of some kind. Clicky flashlight people who want to make you chase them will follow you and do no gens. If you kill their team instead, they're only wasting their own time. If you take a chase in a super strong part of the map and only realize it when the damage has been done, don't kick yourself over it. Take the lesson that "Hey, this game has a broken spawn here, next time I need to know that Suffocation Pit spawning alternating TL and long wall window gyms is stupid broken and not chase here ever!".
For flashlight saves, always make sure you face a wall straight-on in order to deny most saves. BHVR did something weird to flashlights recently - sometimes you get blinded through a wall or at a 180degree angle, but for the most part facing a wall helps. If you know you have someone hovering around you and waiting to try a save, you can stand still over a downed survivor and look down to fake the pickup, luring the savior out of hiding and maybe even getting a free hit on them. From there you can just chase the savior and leave the first survivor slugged, generating double the pressure for the price of one.
Bodyblocking can be nasty, but map permitting I will spin on my heel and go to a different hook. If you really aren't going to make it to a hook, just take the free protection hits they give you, drop your survivor as a slug and then begin chase anew. You're gaining more pressure than you are losing in most cases.
For Keys, there is very little counterplay. 1 gen left is the part of the game where the killer should be strongest via a 3gen strat, as survivors have the least resources and need to play in a more concentrated area of the map. Keys allow them to completely avoid the killer's strongest point in the game. I personally think that Keys and the Hatch in general are just terrible gameplay mechanics, and I can't really tell you much except either tunnel whoever is holding the key down first, and get used to losing anyways. You can't fight the game, only play within its constraints. This game has a free RNG escape for survivors.
I don’t mind body blocking as it’s just free kills for me lol it caught me by surprise at first but it’s a bad strategy against people who expect it
-
I’ve dealt with it too man I just made a similar post lol guess you gotta have thick skin if you’re gonna play this game.

(I mainly play killer)
I just had a game against a key (SWF) and I basically outplayed them in every way possible, they were trying to body block me at hooks n ######### but they never really managed anything else but tbags and flashlight blinds (not saves)
But one guy managed to escape with the key (just picked it up from a dead guy) and then they all went toxic in the pregame lobby, even though I didn't camp or do anything toxic myself.
This kinda ######### makes me wanna not play for the rest of the day or just go survivor, and it's hard to ignore it for me.
Any tips?
Ya I’ve dealt with it too man. I just made a similar post lol Guess you just gotta have thick skin or don’t play this game

Ya I can understand getting angry over camping at the beginning. It’s actually a bad strategy cause the other survivors will just repair the generators and he’ll have the game ruined while barley getting a chance to have fun so there’s reason to do it unless you’re greifing. But in this case the game was in its last stage so I don’t feel bad. I’m not just gonna let them win. I’m new and I’m having a good time playing but I just wish this games community would relax a bit,

You didn’t do anything wrong.
but try to understand the guy a little bit: you felt you were losing the game so you could just Tunnel and Camp to turn the match in your favor. The guy was hooked once and that was it for him, he couldnt do anything, no tunneling or camping to make his game easier. This can feel frustrating.
of course that doesn’t give him the rights to write hate mail, and if he crossed the line you hopefully reported that.
It’s just if I had gone after the healthy survivor they probably would’ve gotten the last generator fixed. Like I said his hook was literally right between the three generators so there was nothing else for me to do and I let my self get distracted for a long time chasing another. It was his teams fault. I did what I had to do. He just needs to accept you lose matchs
-
There are a lot of toxic people but I’ve met lots of nice people too. Like people will stay at the gate and let me get free hits for blood points in games where I’ve done bad. I think the toxic people are a minority. Don’t let them sour your game just turn the other cheek and don’t spread the toxicity as someone else said.

Fav
1- Pig: Has different possible playstiles, one that i love is the late game build, and saving the traps for midgame. Love the desperation and seing heads pop.
2- Pyramid Head: Being able to not get hit by ds should be enough to make me love it.
3- Bubba: Cutting chases short, downing multiple people and facecamping toxic people.
Hate
1- Huntress: Hate the hitboxes and hate looping with hatch prepped, feels so awkward.
2- Myers: Waste so much time stalking and the fact that you have limited stalk from 1 survivor that might be the one that keeps showing up irritates me.
3- Blight: Feels even more difficult to play than nurse and less rewarding. Plus the fov makes me want to puke.
Stalking is the point of Micheal. It’s how he acts in the movies. You just immersive yourself in it as you slowly walk towards a scared and wounded survivor.

Favorites are Ghost Face, Demogorgon and my boy Micheal
I don’t really dislike any of them because I have fun on all of them but my least favorite are Trapper, Nurse and Leatherface

Really? I’ve found it to be the exact opposite. Each killer is unique while the survivors are pretty much the same.
And there’s all kinds of play styles to try and experiment with thanks to perks. Like I might use a stealthy perk like undetectable down a survivor (without hooking him) and hide and wait for his teammates to come help him, or a aggressive one that lets you destroy pallets and run faster or a build that maximizes seeing the survivors auras or even a totem focused build. I even have blood point farming builds t

As a michael player, I find it fascinating that there are some people who would choose to remain at a slow movement speed just to get a small buff to stealth. I dont know what kind of survivors you are playing against, but higher ranked ones will never let you catch them at tier1.
Well I’m a little new. Been playing for a few weeks now

And that’s without his addons that counter the downsides on tier one and that awesome one that lets you see the survivors marker with stalk while preventing you from going past the tier

Well, camping/patrolling the exits is the only thing TO do when all gens are finished, so, no, not cheap. Not any different than patrolling gens.
Camping hooks? Yeah, I think most people believe it's a cheap strategy - some survivors think the Killer should immediately vacate the area and allow survivors to make saves without any threat to themselves lol - but, imo, it's perfectly legitimate. The Survivor's job is to avoid detection, and win the chase if they are detected. The Killer's job is to kill, and any method they employ to do that is fair game. If a survivor gets hooked, and camped, then they failed and need to do better next time.
And I leave traps near the hook if the killer I’m playing has them. It’s always in a way they can avoid them if they’re paying attention though.

Well I stay in the immediate area far enough so that they have a chance to make a bolt away from the hook but I also have a chance to catch them. Unless they’re one of those people who thinks they can just rescue him the second I hook.
