It is never the correct choice, my friend.
The cosmetics must stay.
It's not my choice. It's the bed BHVR made.

I don't think it's as easy for the unknown. If they remove the cosmetics because they look like females then will all of unknown's cosmetics have to look like a male? But, it would have no lore reason to do that. It would limit cosmetic potential as well of course and bhvr would lose money by doing this.
I personally think they should just make it so the female outfits are linked that way you can't mix them with the male items.
If BHVR wants to be consistent they have to. The very complaint OP is giving was the same for Leatherface.
-
We have precedent for this, the outfits should be removed and refunded. Just like Leatherface faces, if a cosmetic is being used as harassment it must be removed.

4 slowdowns aren't ok, info is not ok, STBFL was nerfed, NOED is not ok... What perks do you propose killers run instead?
Zanshin Tactics

Still broke 7.6.0
-
Not until they fix the killer camera that they broke with the Chucky chapter. Nothing in the patch notes about it so I'm going to assume it's still broken.
-
No, its rated correctly. Notifications are more of a distraction then simply seeing the crow take off.
-
A lot of what you said can apply to any killer devoting too much time to a single survivor. Because killer X is doing it now doesn't mean killer Y wasn't the one before. Why are we singling out Hillbilly when its the player playing suboptimal?
Take a player that can't control Blight. If they struggle half the match getting one survivor, do you think they will start tunneling after catching them? Well the answer isn't black or white as it is the player actions that determine what happens next. Not due to the killer being Blight.
-
The one they can kite around the map the most.
-
The hot take here is someone thinking Zanshin is useful.
-
Calling the prior DS a 100% escape is an exaggeration. If BHVR decides to bump the time to 5s again I wouldn't have a problem with it. Frankly 3s is not enough to justify a perk slot.
DS was the biggest BS perk back in the day. For you to complain about it now cheapens the hell we had to go through.
-
I've played like survivors want with a mid tier killer and they still DC if the outcome is in my favor.

The devs have the actual statistics. They don't rely on the off 10K hours players going against people with little experience.
Funny thing, on these stats Nurse is one of the worst killers in the game ^_^ (Second worst this time)
You'll also find many players having no issue going against Nurse (myself included). It's only a matter of mind-games and reaction time.
I'm having more trouble against Legion myself.
Depends on how you read the stats. A low kill rate can mean two things. The killer is too weak to get kills or too hard to get kills. Nurse is the later.
-
Stricter MMR would mitigate this but then Streamers will complain about every match being sweaty. Which FYI, thats how the SBMM was originally.
-
Better question, why are the traps floating in mid air now?

Maybe they werent around as much during that part of the meta? Cause I find it unbelievable anyone who lived through that time to be reminiscing about it. But they do mention survivor perks so they probably mean the first iteration of reworked DH and maybe maybe pre nerf CoH and medkits. Though those still didn't matter much because killers knew to wait out DH, especially of they saw you use it once (and they could wait it even in my MMR). And to heal you'd need to lose the killer before going down and activated eruption on your unsuspecting teammates.
Stll this version of DH was certainly strong and fun to use.
People set the standard to the current time as long as it fits their motives.

"everyone is tunneling"
"almost everyone is tunneling"
Pick one.

As long as the game is popular there will be those that write and sale cheats for it.
It's a constant battle until the servers are turned off.

What do you mean. They keep making the maps smaller and smaller but have not reverted the movement speed buffs to help compensate the killers when the maps were much larger so now they just fly across the tiny spaces. Further more they only care about killer agency despite saying they want all players to feel like they have a chance to kill or survive at any moment. Case and point Doors that are within line of sight from each other. I do not believe it would take years for them to code in an exception to map generation to make them spawn away from each other on opposing sides. Yet it happens with high frequency and removes all agency from the survivor and were just suppose to go. ahhh shucks. Complete nonsense, program the game better. Also if survivors lose perks that are deemed unfair in the endgame collapse because it removes killer agency the same should be done for the killer. No way out should 100% be disabled when end game collapse occurs.
The most recent changes to Billy and upcoming changes to Huntress also are emphasizing a worrisome trend that they don't want killers to be punished for making mistakes. Instead no lets let them have a million hatchets and move at high speeds with them. Or let them almost instantly start revving their chainsaw if they miss. And oh they were brought to a bad loop don't worry were making it so you cant just bypass it entirely with absurd movement. Its laughable at their design ideology.
Lets also look at their solutions to problems within the game anti camping tech is basically worthless, the anti 3 gen system was also a nerf to gens because regardless if the game goes long or not. every kick has 2.5% more regress on it so despite them saying it only impacts 3 gen situation it doesn't its a reward to killers the entire time if they kick. And while I get the design idea of you should buff things up rather then nerf. You have to at some point nerf things down to remove incentive. Because no matter how many times you buff things to promote roaming and kicking and regression. Until you actively nerf the tunneling scene. It wont go away you only give them even more tools to use after they tunnel someone out.
Movement speed buffs? You know the base speed for killers has been 4.6m/s (115%) since 2016. Are you talking about individual killers?
-
On one hand you have Otz tunneling out the weakest survivor. (least hrs)
In the other hand P100's saying the get tunneled out because they have the highest prestige.
Both can be true but the survivor being tunneled will lean towards the reason that best match their perspective.

This may answer your question though.

The same game where you can get hit by a chainsaw but because you dab can continue running.

The only fun killer is one rarely played.

Not a problem for me. Joking aside there are many challenges me and my friends ran into that require x character that we didn’t have to get to a challenge for one we do have. This is nothing new. It just gives extra emphasis to get ole Allen.
I don't believe I've seen a node blocked off from a DLC requirement node. Yes there are nodes you cannot complete if you don't have the character but you could reach all the other nodes by going around it.

95% of the remaining community are jaded veterans that can't let this game go and have grown to project their own pessimistic views of the game into everything their rivals do, so nowadays things like survivors letting you get a free hit at the end game is considered toxic instead of some free BPs.
This is why there's no moderate takes anymore. It's always something along the lines of "Distorsion is TOXIC" or "I crossed paths with the killer to get a protection hit while I was on death hook and they HIT ME??? And TUNNELED ME??? And I DIED???".
A lot of that may be due to the teabagging at the threshold or the survivors causing excessive vault notifications.

Oh you sweet summer child.

It wasn't in the stats a couple weeks ago?

Remember to always allow a T3 Myers to hit you at the exit.

I would not say it is easier. I would say it is easier to increase the Prestige-Level of a Killer, because Killers get more BPs than Survivors. So they level up faster.
However, it is more Common to see P100-Survivors, simply because many people only play one Survivor. But people usually play a variety of Killers.
I also dont think that Prestige says anythign about the SWF-Rate. Especially if we consider that P100s are not rare anymore, you can have a bunch of low level-Prestige Characters in a Lobby and yet all of them can have P100-Characters.
@Topic:
I honestly dont really experience to be dodged or tunneled because of my Prestige. I get dodged a lot more since my profile is not private anymore and people see my hours, but before that, I got dodged less, even when using a P100-Survivor.
That being said, the problem is dodging in general. Therefore, removing information for the Killer by hiding prestige and hiding profiles as well should be the key.
Because in the end, there is not really an indicator that a P100-Survivor is good. In fact, you can reach P100 on a Character without ever playing them. Or even playing the respective role. Just as Survivor you have less ways to spend your BPs, because it makes 0 sense to put BPs into other Survivors than your favourite.
They could P100 a survivor by playing killer...

It allows the killer a local advantage once the survivor is hooked. In order to overcome this, the help of the survivors around all is essential. Survivors need to understand that even though playstyles are free, individualism is not at the core of the game system.

If the DS skill check is the cause of failure, it doesn't matter whether every are a beginner or not. If the chase after getting out is a problem, it's a skill issue.
But survivors are not able overcome tunneling?

Because something is useful doesn't make it OP.

I see.....
Adds OTR to Survivor's base kit and maintains it for 80 seconds regardless of actions. Instead, survivors with this effect activated will receive a 30% debuff on all actions.
During this time, it is better for the Sweaty Killer to leave the Survivor alone, so many Killers will remove them from their targets. If the survivor is still tunneled, it's just a traffic accident. The frequency will drop significantly.
This proposed adjustment is a win-win, buffing both Killers and Survivors.
How about the issue survivors have with OTR? The killer can hit the survivor soon after the unhook removing the OTR protection.
-
If you like them you wouldn't be using the term FOMO.
-
How do you stop tunneling without making the survivor invulnerable? How do you pervent a survivor from abusing invulnerability?

I literally see at least one DC or suicide on hook every game. Not only that, but I know why! Because every single killer I've played against has either proxy camped, slugged, tunneled, etc.
I see this happen often too, but it's not because the killer did any of those things.
-
Playing killer is playing solo.
-
I've noticed recently that I've begun to run the same five or six perks on all of my killers.
Not really new. If you've been around the forums awhile this is a common complaint.
Now is it all BHVR's fault? No, it's partially the player bases fault too. Players as a whole will optimize the fun out of any game.

No fix in the PTB.
