Stranger Things.
Vecna aka 001 as Killer, Joyce and Hopper as Survivors. And maybe Eddie and Robin as legendaries.
I think even the "kids" are now old enough to be Survivors, so having Dustin, Will, Max, Lucas etc as Survivors would be an option either. They could make so much with Stranger Things.

Hey folks! Stepping in here to confirm that we're aware of a game outage on all platforms. The team's actively investigating it. We’ll provide updates as we have them.
Thanks for letting us know.

Managed to get into a custom after finding a Sever took like a minute, and I had 200 Ping inside the match.
Would be nice to know what's happening right now.
-
I even got an Initialization Error message now after restarting the game.
-
Yeah, but that's not normal for having 400% BP incentives. I still haven't found a match, neither as Survivor or Killer, neither in 2v8 nor 1v4. I think the Servers really broke or something.

It broke. It was instant 20 minutes ago.
Nice. Guess I'll try 1v4 then.

I take all of your Dracula's if you want. You can have my Ghoul's and Clowns.

Tbh, it's a badly designed Add-on which should just be reworked. Exposed Add-ons are either extremely overtuned or utter trash.

Pyramidhead and zanshin tactics
Probably the only one killer, that can get actual value from this perk
That plus I'm all Ears. My current mood consists of using 4 Aura Perks on Pyramid Head to get as many through wall snipes as possible.

is there any purpose to this post other than to stir up more “us vs them” toxicity?
Some people just love pointless drama.

Yeah and that poop filter literally hurts my eyes.. not to mention that the fog is way thicker for some reason, making visibility horrendous.

Having people's items straight up deleted feels terrible.
A more reasonable alternative would be having the item unable to be picked up for a period of time. It could be blocked by little entity claws rising from the ground.
Ex-fricking actly. This would be the perfect change to make Franklin's usable by making Items unusable for a limited time. 90 seconds would probably be to short but having it like 120 - 150 seconds would be ideal. Instead they make the Perk either to frustrating for Survivors or borderline useless (as of now).
Perhaps they'll revisit it again but let's see.

Clown with Stbfl / Rapid.
Ghoul with Bamboozle / Dissolution.
Doctor with Distressing / Coulrophobia / Unnerving and teammates who still want to heal.
-
I use Shoulder the Burden, Reassurance, Vigil and Sprint Burst.
Really strong carry build.
-
I already made a bug report about it but apparently I didn't use the Perk according to my logs so i don't know either.
It's not killswitched yet so maybe it'll stay like this 🤷♂️

Maps and Keys have way to little charges and their iri. Add-ons have way to many dowsides. Blood Amber now has 3 downsides and the map Iri. Add-on doesn't even work on the brown map because the brown map is 10 seconds and the Add-on removes 10 seconds. Way to restricted.
You can't "feather" keys and maps anymore like you could before by just using it for half a second and sparing charges. From their effects, they're way more useful than what they were.. but they need more charges and have the iri Add-ons not apply that many downsides.

Hello. Your logs do not have you using Streetwise at all, and no one in the match info is using Streetwise either.
If you experience this issue, please leave the game and capture the logs then, and upload them to the forums. Thank you!
Does it track custom games? I've used it twice in custom games but not a single time online.
-
That is the better solution. A Perk can always be changed, so releasing it weaker will not create any problems.
If you look at original Mettle of Man, original Decisive, original Made for This.. they were released in a brokenly overpowered state so they created a huge problem for a while.
-
Yeah, it's really broken.

I have the habit of always making sure to get rid of those kind of things because they're a thorn in my eye, but regarding the store.. I trained to ignore it, otherwise I'd spend like an hour in the store just clicking on things randomly.

What I currently dig about her atm is that her hook scream sounds sound very similar to Kate's first PTB hook sounds.

We realy dont get why people keep saying "pointless". If you hate whatever maps are on rotation you can make it so theres a 1/5 chance that its a different realm. Statistics say thats a good chance. The reason for secrecy is because some people will happily hunt down whomever tried playing those offerings.
You know what's kinda sad atm. I've had Killers and even Survivors targeting specific Survivors by either tunneling or not unhooking them because they dared to not use the event BP offerings.
Seems like even BP offerings have to become secret, it's insane how mad some people are.

Sometimes I use Bardic Inspiration just so I can tame the Killer. But be cautious, you might get reported by a Stealthdette because you were "teaming up" with the Killer against her, while you were just standing on a hill playing your guitar.

The rumour I've heard is that Disney want Vader.
BHVR want a specific part of the Star Wars extended universe novels that Disney axed and made non-canon.
Darth Vader MIGHT have worked if the movies stopped at the Original Trilogy. Younger generations (including myself) find this hard to understand, but Vader in the OT was an incredibly imposing figure and quite horrifying in every scene he appeared... you'd have still been pushing it a tad, but if you watch the OT in a bubble, it makes more sense.
He was so intimidating in fact, that Boba Fett, a character who doesn't have more than maybe 10 words in the whole series of films, and isn't even named throughout the films, became a fan favourite character just because he didn't cower in Vader's presence and Vader seemed to respect him... everyone is sat thinking "who the hell is this guy for Vader seemingly being cautious with his words around him?"... Vader was held THAT highly as a villain.
The problem you've got now is the prequel trilogy did so much to undermine and tear down the mystique and aura of Anakin/Vader and the force in general to be fair, that it retroactively detracted from Vader's imposing presence and makes it much harder to take him seriously. (and I'm not really a prequel trilogy hater myself, but when you look through above lens the backlash from OT fans does make more sense).
The of course you have modern Star Wars, where select movies and TV series have also done a lot to make Vader look more goofy and pointless... where Force Awakens brought back Vader's helmet to emulate the helmey with Kylo... Last Jedi drops that plot point completely, and even belittles the helmet of Kylo, relegating it to a joke, and thus belittling the helmet of Vader by association... and even have the cheap nostalgia baiting representations of him in series like Ashoka...
Basically the problem is Vader's aura have been so massively undercut, that whatever reasoning and logic you could have squinted at to let him slip under the radar bring him to DBD, now it totally shafted beyond repair, and he just doesn't fit. Admittedly Rogue One did a great job of restoring a lot of Vader's (and the Empire's) credit... but it's one bucket vs. an ocean of damage the character has undergone that has totally shattered his one iconic status in pop culture.
You could still add him tbh, he is still terrifying when he appears. The Kenobi series wasn't that good by itself, but Vader was terrifying in it for example. They do good with Vader in my opinion while failing at everything else. And of course, he's a tragic character who never wanted to become evil in the first place. But then you have Spirit and Wraith, who also didn't want all of this but still ended up as merciless Killers.
And he could definitely be designed in a way to make him scary.. like stealth and you just hear his breathing sound coming closer towards you. Way scarier than Trickster or Skull Merchant for example.

Sadako is weird because it feels like rather than just running with the unique and original version she had that was admittedly pretty weak, she got reworked and changed into versions that took some aspects and bunked others, leaving her wholly underwhelming each time.
I think they could definitely make TVs have a shorter cool down and either make her coming through the TV faster, or remove the global tp noise since killers like Springtrap work well without one and it'd make her scarier. I don't play her often, but with a couple of the right nudges she could easily be a favorite. She was always such a weirdly cool addition.
I mean, Springtrap got global silence instead.

We should stick to horror first
There were rumors that they might consider Darth Vader as a Killer.
If it happens it happens. And if it happens, well then they should add those extra cosmetics too :P

You forgot to increase her TR to 40 metres.
-
A command which immediately spawns the dog at your side. Nothing more frustrating than the dog getting stuck somewhere or going on a vacation trip until it eventually reaches your location again.
-
I hate going against Ghoul myself. But how many Survivors will use 4 second chance or chase Perks with MedKits with Syringed or Stypic's?
Or gen builds with BNP's to make fast gens even faster.
If you feel like playing him, play him. He's unfun to go against, but so are Swf with those things listed above.
-
One reason I don't like playing her.. you take 2 work days just to make the dog go to a gen you want him to go.

MMR was a huge mistake. At least the version of it we got was. If a player's MMR actually corresponded with their skill, it wouldn't be so bad. As you'd have skilled survivors being matched with equally-skilled killers.
But the things DbD tracks (only escapes/kills) aren't enough to adequately assess a player's skill level and so we basically just have free-for-all matchmaking.
MMR used to be way stricter. People either only played Nurse, Blight or Spirit to have a chance against equally good Survivors, or they switched to Survivor.
Making MMR accurate would require Killers to get massive buffs or to nerf Swf and Survivor in general, significantly.
And as Survivor you were just rotating between those 3 Killers, now probably 2 because Spirit was nerfed a while back with the occasional exception because a Killer player was either masochistic or wanted to drop his MMR.
-
I'm not sure why Unrelenting doesn't even work on obstructed hits, only whiffing. It should work on obstructed hits as well, which would include turrets. It wouldn't make the Perk good, in fact it would still be bad.. but at least it'd be a little better.

Hmm interesting so I guess instead of surge something like Pop or Oppression?
I'd run Sloppy personally. But I'm not a big fan of gen regression so you do you.
-
Freddy feels extremely dynamic now, playing as him is ultra fun now and playing against him I also find fun. I think every Killer should have those kind of different managements during the game for Survivors as well as more abilities for the Killer to use. That's also why Dracula and Vecna are liked because they share that design.
-
Judging by how slow he moves he probably got the Frenzy blinding bug where he looks like he's in Frenzy but in reality he moves as a normal M1 Killer.
-
A basic build I use are Dead Rabbit & J. Myers Memorial.
Perks I use are Monitor, Surge, Corrupt and Nowhere to Hide.
Monitor and Dead Rabbit makes your TR extremely small, making sneaking up really easy. If I kick a gen in Tier 2 it might reveal Survivors and they won't even notice, Nowhere to Hide has a 24 metre range while I have a 6 metre Terror Radius, making instadowning unsuspecting Survivors way easier. And Surge is just really good on Myers or Ghostface, it saves time and gives you more regression than a regular kick.
With Vanity Mirror, I'd use Save the Best for Last and maybe a different kind of slowdown instead of Surge, since instadowning is no longer possible.
-
Well, I had a Haddie crawl to the fireplace on Bloodlodge where I moried her, the light effect made the Mori look 100 times better.

This reminds me of Puppers's random perk streams. Good times.
It's just a different kind of dbd if you actively try to get Perk value and don't give to much of a damn for escaping. Solo suddenly becomes more bearable.

Oh, so an outfit vote? Like they do every now and then?

Which Dragula cosmetics?
-
I guess that was it with the Freddy Council meeting.

I would reduce the clocks from 5 to 4 and increase their cooldown from 40 to 60 seconds.
That way you'd have 1 clock per Survivor and their cooldown would match the passive sleeping timer. As long as you don't fail at being alive for a bit, you shouldn't have any issues with waking up.. since there are also 2 other ways of waking up (3 if you have Plot Twist).
-
In fact, every Killer besides Myers had default chase music. That was till Demogorgon got released, from that point onward, every new Killer got their own music and they also gradually updated the music for older Killers with their respective power update. (most of them at least)
-
That's why I stopped trying to win and will rather focus purely on chases. Using 1 or 2 passive slowdowns to prolong the game just a little bit so I can chase more and that's it.. no matter if all, some or none escape.
Focusing on winning will only result in you getting burnt out, forcing yourself to try and find ways to make winning easier or possible just isn't healthy in the long run.
But then again, fun is subjective. Some people like to win and they'll try anything to make that possible. My personal fun in dbd is just having good chases, Perk value and lots of points.

This is incredibly disingenuous.
BBQ has a tell. The survivor gets downed, then the next obvious action is carried to hook. Especially when this was one of maybe 4 aura perks and was a hard meta perk 3 or so years ago, you could pretty easily get to a locker and count out the time before getting out.
Today, there's a ton more aura perks now on a huge list of triggers. Almost none of these newer perks have a similar tell for players. You simply can't predict that the killer is opening a locker across the map, kicking a gen upstairs, or even that your teammate is unhooking. It's physically impossible to both be in a locker and hitting a great skill check on a generator, which is another trigger now.
There's also nothing, except distortion to even tell you that these perks are in play.
I was replying to a comment talking about people complaining about BBQ and how people used to counter it instead of complaining. I wasn't talking about any other Perks.
