He's an okay killer, just not very fun to play against.
-
There are three perks that I consider to be very helpful for survivors: Dead Hard, Borrowed Time, and Decisive Strike.
I would get Dead Hard first because it's one of the most versatile exhaustion perks. Go ahead and start learning how to use it.
For the other two, which order you get them in doesn't matter.
As for the best overall survivor, my answer is Jeff. I mean come on, how can you not think Jeff is the coolest? He's basically Jesus after all.
Jokes aside, play who you like. Claudette is obviously the stealthiest if that matters to you. Ace and Tapp are the quietest if you prefer playing male characters.
-
Assuming the conditions are relatively fair, 2-3 kills.
-
Other than DbD, I'm quite fond of building games. Right now I'm into Cities: Skylines. Building some luxury lakefront mansions right now.
Also, I like playing For Honor. A great game for casual and competitive players.
-
Vinland Saga right now. Got some other shows I want to check out tho.
-
If you're on PC, steer the saw using your Q and E keys. Using those two keys on your keyboard is the best way to play Billy.
-
Depends on what killer you want to play.
Nurse, Billy, and Huntress are the most difficult to play. I would recommend watching ZubatLeL on twitch considering he's very good with all three of these killers.
As for normal M1 killers, look up ScottJund's video on how to run all generic tiles as killer. That will help you chase more effectively.
And perks: Look up Zubat's perk list. For the most part, his perk selection for killers is pretty good.
-
Back in the day, I was pretty good with Nurse. So she would probably be my most dominant killer.
Spirit can also be dominating when played with the right add ons.
As of now, I'm focusing my attention on Huntress. She's also quite good when played right.
In all honesty, you can dominate with most killers if the survivors aren't that good.
-
I agree somewhat, keys need to be changed. Same with moris honestly.
-
On PC, there are certain set ups that cannot be countered.
Example: Nurse with overpowered add ons. There's nothing survivors can do except die.
Example: Spirit with overpowered add ons. There's nothing survivors can do except die.
Example: Wraith on Haddonfield. There's nothing the killer can do except lose.
So no, not everything has counter play. And both sides are fully justified when they complain about these overpowered aspects of the game.

I think the most important thing with Trapper is learning how to place traps in effective spots. Typically, you'll want to place traps AROUND loops because survivors will often check pallets and windows.
Also, you want to trap loops that survivors are likely to use. With experience, you'll learn which loops should be trapped.
As for perks, Corrupt Intervention is nice because it lets you trap one side of the map without fear of the far away gens getting repaired to fast.
Whispers is also nice because it helps you place traps when survivors aren't around.

@Cornpopers I think I've had some crazy dreams that didn't involve those things.
-
I've had a number of eerie dreams, but unfortunately I can't remember them very well off the top of my head.
Occasionally, i'll remember in better detail what the dream was about, but it doesn't take long for me to forget again.
But what I do remember is this: some of them were very wild.
I recall one of them having to do with some outer space type ######### and my view of the changing cosmos.
Also, I think in one of my dreams I was having sex or something and all of a sudden a laser grid type thing appeared over me. The room I was in greatly expanded, and I found myself floating around trying not to touch the laser grid. I think there was a deep sea mine field mixed in there as well. And as I was floating through this perilous trap, I some how ended up in space. Was I trying to reach a space ship? That's about all I remember.
I've had a bunch of other crazy ones as well. P.S. Not all of them are about space. Those are just two that come to mind. I might comment later if I can think of some different ones I had. Maybe I should write these dreams down and create some stories lol.

Love seeing posts like these.
Also, I agree with the others. Probably a deer.
-
I can't really think of any. Killers very rarely show me mercy.
-
Jeff and I have the same first name, so obviously he's my main :)
-
Yeah, upper mid tier sounds about right. The ability to spam snares and travel across the map quickly is rather strong compared to what other killers get.
-
Playing with Ruin does not dull my killer skills. If the survivors aren't that good, they usually lose very fast.
-
Nurse, Huntress, and Billy
-
Perhaps a Roman Emperor outfit for Jeff. That way we could pretend he's Jesus.
-
@My_Farewell I actually play a ton of survivor (rank 1 btw).
-
I suppose you can make the argument that LF is somewhat effective against inept survivors.
-
It doesn't bother me as much anymore, but I do believe it's an incredibly cocky thing to do.
I see it as a way of saying "i'm much better than you" or "catch me if you can slow poke". Something along those lines.
In other words, t bagging/emotes are a form of taunting.
Killers can do it as well.
So your question should be why do killers AND survivors get triggered over taunts?
-
99% of the time I play solo.
-
I want to preface my comment by saying this is a hard list to make. Mostly, because I have difficulty choosing what my favorites are. But I will do my best!
Openings:
- Hunter X Hunter (2011) - 5th Opening
- Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - 1st Opening
- Attack on Titan - 1st Opening
- (BONUS) - Vinland Saga - 1st Opening
I can say with high confidence that the fifth opening of HxH is probably the best anime opening I know. The visuals are sublime, and I don't ever recall being so hyped watching an anime opening. The last two are very good visually as well and the music is awesome. I added in Vinland Saga because I am such a HUGE fan of the manga series. The show is still new, so I haven't had time to fully decide how much I like the opening (so far, I enjoy it very much).
Endings:
- Samurai Champloo - Shiki No Uta
- Hunter X Hunter (2011) - 3rd Ending
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Roundabout
I'll just be upfront in saying this list isn't as good. Ending themes tend to not leave as much of an impression on me. That said, here are three endings that were either really good songs or were able to stir up emotion.

Shirtless Laurie or we riot.

Well before people start posting
theobvious let me get my two cents in.Is this common? No. This does however show that if people really want to abuse the power their role has that they can make the game completely one sided.
It doesn't matter what the end results of this match were to have been but rather the fact that this video shows the potential one side has over the other and the incredible amount of tools they have to increase their chances.
To clarify my "vague" phrasing this video shows how many tools a survivor team has in comparison to the killer without even taking into consideration skill and luck.
Agreed, both sides can abuse certain setups.
-
Probably not. Billy is very strong when properly mastered.
Freddy has anti loop abilities and map pressure, but lacks the sheer map presence Billy has.
-
There are people like this in red ranks. Sad.
-
I wouldn't count on another Legacy event.
-
Legion is a mediocre killer imo.
-
@GrootDude I'm just pointing out that from my experience on PC, Dead Hard is one of the better exhaustion perks.
I've played against really good survivors who have used the perk to its full potential.
-
Dead Hard is one of the best exhaustion perks on PC.
Just watch the pros on twitch show you how great the perk is.
-
You don't see many Bubbas in red ranks because he's the weakest killer in the game.
-
Both sides are full of toxicity, but I would say survivors are a bit more toxic.
-
Doesn't seem like such a good idea to me.
-
Just improve map design and that would immediately make lower tier killers better.
-
From my experience, a majority of the players prefer to just end the game quickly. I totally understand their reasons.
I normally let people farm because for me killing the few who stayed is very unsatisfying. And yeah, I play solo survivor so I have some compassion for these players.
Just don't demonize players who want the game over. It's not their fault, it's the dev's for allowing it to continue. Once punishments for disconnects arrive, hopefully this won't be a huge issue anymore.
-
@SenatorAcadia Some of those builds are legitimately overpowered. Meaning, they break the normal flow of a game.
Contending with insta heals is something killers should not have to do. And vice versa, survivors should not have to do the same with overpowered killer setups.
Most game developers understand that overpowered aspects of a game are not healthy and should be addressed, i.e toned down.
-
My LF has always wanted a small BBQ pit in the basement for entertaining guests.
-
Yeah, but a lot of these builds are not fun to play against.
Do you think a Wraith would have fun dealing with two or three insta heals?
Or, survivors having to play against an insta saw Billy?
Of course not. These builds tilt the match heavily in one side's favor at the other side's expense.
-
There are legitimate balance issues with the game. Please don't misrepresent the qualms killer mains have.
-
Usually when I play with survivor mains who have thousands of hours, Ruin is gone within 30-40 seconds.
-
As of now:
Dead Hard, Spine Chill, DS, and Borrowed Time.
-
Spirit and Hag.
Any killer that requires mechanical skill should be avoided on console.
-
The optimal approach is to not cleanse.
Cleansing gives the Plague strong chase potential.
If survivors aren't inept when it comes to looping a killer, then they should be able to last long enough for the gens to get done (with plenty of time to spare).
-
I'm quite fond of Head On, so here's what I would suggest:
- Reduce the activation timer from 3 seconds to 2 seconds.
- Increase the stun time from 3 seconds to 4 or 5 seconds (since you're stationary, a longer stun makes sense)
That ought to make Head On a little more desirable.
-
Those perks mean nothing to competent survivors.
Ruin is usually gone within 30 seconds, and the other two perks aren't that great when facing strong loopers.
Usually killers either want to have anti pallet perks or tracking perks.
-
Can confirm Spine Chill is great. I'm using it in my build right now.
A few weeks ago I was playing survivor and got pulled off a gen by Ghost Face. I said to myself "That's it! I'm gettin me Spine Chill" and I haven't looked back since.
-
@woundcowboy I have 1000 hours on console. I was playing when the game released on June of 2017. And I have even more hours than that on PC. So actually I have played extensively on both sides.
