Surge as it is right now is trash, there's literally no reason to use it over Thrilling tremors. When thrilling is map wide, seals off the gens and gives you information where survivors are at, meanwhile Surge is restricted to a 24 meter range and you have to meet 2 requirements to get the perk to work, 1 of the requirements which is not even up to (YOU) the killer, you basically have to hope the survivor is dumb enough to run you towards a gen.
IMO the perk should pop the 2/3 nearest gens to you and put it on a 2 minute cool down. This would make the perk much more usable in a realistic setting and the cool down would prevent you from spamming it continuously.
-
Rename this perk to "LIVING LIGHT" since you don't get ######### when they're dead or just rework the rework of this perk.

Maybe not GOD, but super super super super unmindgamable
It is a God pallet, if you don't break it they can loop you around the tractor even with BL3. 100% god pallet

Nah, stay getting camped. xD

U had both back then. Also, this who obtained legacy don't care to get spotted easily, they have enough experience to run the killer
You mean back when there was infinites and legacy had nothing to do with skill, just meant you grinded enough to prestige.

Of course people have a real life and have to leave sometimes in mid game, but this is probematic. So i've got an idea. Every time you disconnect, you get a 30 minute ban. No more, no less. It's like a cooldown which prevents you from creating a lobby or joining one. What do you guys think?
Time outs won't do anything tbh, people will just hop on their Smurf account and play regardless, there needs to be a better system put in place like maybe,What if you're allowed 2 DC's a day and on the 3rd you get a 24 Hr ban.

Proposed Alternative Prayer Beads effect: During Haunting, your Terror Radius affects the entire map.
This makes it so survivors still can't hear her phasing sound, but also gives all survivors a heads up warning that she's phasing and puts them under the effects of any TR perks. I believe it would be a fair trade. Most players hate Prayer Beads because they allow her to pull off quick grabs from gens, totems, hooks, and switches without giving them any warning. This way, they'll have plenty of warning, but still won't be able to tell if she's coming after them or someone else, and letting spirit get usage out of perks like Coulrophobia, Unnerving Presence, and Overwhelming Presence could make for some fun builds.
As for the Flashlight burn thing, trying to focus a flashlight on a killer moving at 6+m/s, or just scanning around with one just to see if she's headed your way is a silly waste of the flashlight. Alternatively Focusing it on her husk already tells you if shes faking her phase or not, and if it canceled out her ability and stunned her, it would be a bit too broken. We already have perks like Spine Chill that tell us if she's coming our way while phasing, so there's really no need for her to have a power that can be canceled by survivors at any given time.
Take Wraith for example: He's translucent, needs to ring a bell to announce he's coming out of it, moves slower during the uncloaking transition, and can be flashlight burned/stunned at any time while cloaked. There's a reason that, after his update, he's still considered a low tier killer and no one ever complains about his Ultra Rare add-on that makes his bell silent.
If flashlight burning was introduced as a counter to Spirits power, there would be no need to rework Prayer Beads as it might become the only way she ever surprises anyone, and due to this massive weakness I'm betting her high rank viability would drop a tier. I've been happy about Spirit ever since she came out because now instead of just Nurse and Billy, we also get Spirit in the high ranks. However, I am starting to notice more Freddy's there now, so maybe dropping her down to mid-tier would be okay since he can replace her. It's not like anyone ever complains about how the high ranks don't have enough killer diversity right?
No one complains about his silent bell because it's not even supposed to be an ultra rare, it was and always will be a brown add-on to me.

They didn't say anything negative, why are you jumping to conclusions based on one word? Maybe ask them first instead of jumping the gun and pointing fingers?

I don't see anyone complaining, where are you getting that info from? Smh

Dear salty killers when you DC because they are SWF you aren't going to get better doing this and you are not doing yourself any favors. You just make the game easier for the survivors to win. and the bps of the survivors suffer. Plus you just end up looking like a POS.
The entity didn't choose you. :)

Do you playing him with good add-ons or not?
Because I am counting base power level and not add-ons.
Sorry but I found Legion slightly more dangerous than Wraith.
Pretty sure the majority of players play killers with some form of add-ons, so why would you ever not consider the killer with add-ons? Add-ons are what makes a killer go to their fullest potential so it only makes sense to judge them on their fullest potential.

Shes the Entity, there's no point for her to dirty her own hands.
Where did that Nea meme even originate from? Did a streamer one day decide that Nea was a killer or what?

Pig is a solid mid tier. Trapper is the worst killer. You could also argue for Clown or Legion.
Idk about that as bad as legion is he isn't the lowest of the bunch and clown is decent. I'd say it's leatherface, wraith and to some extent trapper because of the amount of time he wastes prepping. Trapper is hit or miss sometimes you dominate other times you get gen rushed and lose. I'd say pig is decent, as her traps do stall the game decently well.

what did u expect? no survivor perks could ever be useful because this game is killer sided.
Lmao ok nice bait, we all know what side this game is catered towards and i don't need to spell it.BTW the killer perks aren't good either.
-
When will people on these forums quit the threads on NOED it's not even a good perk, tired of seeing countless threads about this useless perk.
-
Low tier from what he is on paper, we'd have to see what his add-ons are looking like, but base power he seems weaker than wraith. His power is a shorter and worse version of Pigs ambush attack that can only dash foward and his "map control" is limited to 2 locations and in order to even use it you have to travel to one of the two fixed locations, pretty weak imo but add-ons could make this better who knows.

As long as The Demogorgon has 115% movement speed, I’d say it’s a viable Killer.
Another M1 killer who has no real special power other than the pigs ambush attack and a limited hag trap, Yeah.... Ok. Definitely viable.
-
New hatch mechanics are bullshit, just get rid of the hatch tbh. I can't count the times that I get teammates who don't do any gens all game and just sit and farm hooks, then when it's 2 people left they hide the entire game because they know that even if they don't do gens they'll be rewarded with a hatch and if closed they still have a 2nd chance to escape. Badly designed imo I think that hatch should only spawn after 2 gens are completed.
-
They did release a solid licensed killer a long while ago, it was Myers then he got nerfed, for a while Myers was the best killer in the game he could stalk infinitely and he gained evil a lot faster. I just hope if the demogorgan is really good that they won't need him a week after release like they usually do with every killer

That would actually create further frustration. Survivors would get tirelessly confused as to why certain evasion tactics work for some killers basic attack, and why it isn’t working on other killers. There’s quite a lot of killers now. Do you really want to have to learn a new evasion technique for killers basic attack and basic lunge ON TOP of how to counter their power/ability?!?!
I wouldn't mind that, it just means that the more skilled players will adapt and learn.

Betas and Test Servers are different things
Not really, the point of a beta is to test things and give players a peak of what's to come. Both are very similar

Do consoles even have PTBs for any kind of game? Idk
MK11 had a beta some other games have betas before release as well, pretty sure they can do this too.

You are probably right that this DLC is going to cost extra. It's licensed and there are 3 new characters 2 of which were most likely paid for their voice in the game. You don't have to purchase it. Capitalism is great, isn't it?
Maybe instead of being a debbie downer look on the bright side. I already see people on twitter saying they are going to purchase the game now. Now there won't be those threads that the game is dying because there are lulls in the amount of active players.
So while you didn't want this in DBD... many others do and are very happy.
They would have to pay the actor's for their likeness in game as well so it is definitely going to cost more than other Licenced DLC's
-
They said they were going to fix the vault animation yet here we are today and not yet has it been tweaked or mentioned in their dev stream.
-
If nurse got stunned by a pallet mid blink all she would be is a slighty better version of legion, if you think about it Legion has/had the potential of being the best killer in the game but they made his power useless, and when this was a thing survivors would camp the pallets and wait for nurse to chargr her blink, it was pretty annoying.

As long as we get more Bloodpoints in return I don't care about survivor nerfs. I want Bloodpoints

Cause... if they didn't put out new content... There would be people coming on here and writing posts like you just did, but in regards to no new content.
Also no new content would make the game look like it isn't being worked on and abandoned.
I disagree as long as the are consistent with balance patches every season there would be no need for new content every 3 months maybe 1 or 2 DLC a year would be fine.I feel with the current pace with cosmetics they're putting out they really don't need to put out new chapters every few months. They make tons of money from people purchasing cosmetics.
-
I have multiple favorites, but if I had to pick one out of the bunch it would probably have to be Billy, mobility and power are what I like in my characters for any form of game from FPS to Fighting games.

@Faceless said:
Yeah because camping/facecamping makes me sick
Baby Killers They do it all the time and you can't do anything because it's impossible to save someone without going off hook.
I'm tired every match has one that does that.
People don't deserve to die because a killer doesn't let them play, that's praising mediocrity.
Put the borrowed time to work between the two survivors, what goes off-hook and what goes out.
Go play killer if you're tired of getting camped or just rank up, camping is less likely to happen at higher ranks because Killers are more experienced in applying pressure to multiple targets.Buffing BT is not the solution.
-
Make legion a better version of plague
-
Learn to hit great skillchecks and stop complaining about killer's using the most common essential perk in the game.. I don't mind going vs killers with ruin on reset because I hit my greats.
-
As killer I don't mind because I get to verse potatoes but as survivor it's pretty infuriating when you gotta carry the team so much every game and end up getting dumb teammates.

Yes.

That team even wasn't that good, that just shows how weak Trapper is even against a half decent team. Worst killer in the game in my opinion.
Yep him legion, wraith and leatherface. If you play these killers expect to get dunked on the entire round.

Maps, maps are the strongest thing in this game, until the devs learn how to make proper maps then we can't tell.

He's garbage revert the changes, at least pre nerf legion wasn't useless now he is.

How to fix legion in a nutshell: Revert all the nerfs he got from his "rework" and tada

They kinda did burn a lot of it recently. Its much easier to see through since 3.1.0
Feels like the pieces are spaced a bit further apart letting you see more.
Looks the same to me tbh. Corn never really affected me, I can track fairly well in corn but still I wish they'd make a more noticeable difference such as maybe less patches of corn together etc.
-
Gens will still pop in no time and you'll lose unless you're playing high mobility killers, survivors don't need perks to loop or do gens, all survivor perks do is give you the ability to tank and extend loops. against a decent team with no perks you'll still lose there's only 3 exceptions to this.
-
Buff camping xD
-
No, next killer is probably gonna be bad as usual. Looking forward to the new survivors perks though.

As I stated above, bringing solo survivors up to the level of SWF groups would allow the devs to buff killers accordingly. The reason that they are so hesitant to make killers strong against SWF is because solo survivors would have no chance of escape. Buffing solo players means that SWF don't have a big advantage over solos, meaning that killers could be made more powerful without ruining the game for solo players.
That makes no sense since hypothetically speaking if solos were as strong as SWF what happens when they decide to group up and run a SWF? This means that they would be much more stronger. This all could be solved by nerfing SWF and giving solos individual buffs to make the experience better.
-
Why would they bring solo up to SWF? SWF breaks the game so you want solos running around getting 3-4 man escapes every round? What they should do is nerf SWF and give solo's a buff or incentive to play alone rather than to group up.
-
SWF makes this game too much money. The devs will never hit SWF, they're actually buffing them indirectly in the next upcoming patches.I'd rather have them buff solo survivor or at least look into what solo's can get.

Remove the heal effect when injured but keep the heal on dying state and sprint burst for injured state. This would solve most of the problem killers encounter during endgame. Only one who can really counter mutiple people having adrenaline is plague.
